The Villa Elena is a beautifully appointed and managed private hotel. Perfectly situated in central Varazze it is however very quiet and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and scrupulously clean. The restaurant serves very well prepared food and the service too is good. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and am planning a return visit. Very highly recommended.

An elegant hotel located in a quiet and relaxing area of ​​Varazze. The rooms are a bit small but clean and tidy. I personally didn't try the restaurant, but the breakfast was sufficiently varied with good-quality products. The staff was very attentive and thoughtful, and I especially want to compliment the receptionist, Denisa, who absolutely excels in terms of hospitality and professionalism.

The room was welcoming, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities: a TV, minibar, and private bathroom. I truly appreciated the tranquility of the setting, ideal for a relaxing stay. One of the hotel's strengths is undoubtedly the courtesy and professionalism of the staff, always available to satisfy every need. Another aspect worth mentioning is the quality of the restaurant: carefully prepared dishes and authentic flavors that showcase local cuisine. Overall, I highly recommend the Genovese Villa Elena for anyone looking to stay in Varazze in an elegant, well-maintained setting with attentive, family-like service. However, there was one small detail they could have avoided: despite being very kind, the restaurant staff on our last day at breakfast left us a dirty tablecloth, left there from the previous dinner. I understand that with small children present, the tablecloth could easily get dirty, but I believe it should still be changed after every meal. Finding a dirty tablecloth from the night before shows a lack of attention to detail and hygiene. In a hotel or restaurant, careful table setting is essential to ensuring a pleasant experience for guests.

The room was nice, the location was great. The service was okay... We had announced at breakfast that we wanted to leave in an hour with our car because we had an appointment... When we wanted to leave, our car was still parked, and we were late. Another day, I left my purse on the table in the room, and when I returned, a total of €50 in €20 and €10 bills was suddenly missing. The breakfast tasted okay, but it was the same every day, and the selection was very limited. We won't be back...

I booked a single room for one night through Booking.com. The location is definitely excellent, near the seafront, and the hotel's cleanliness is second to none. But the building is really old. The carpet is still there, the room is tiny, and the bathroom is one square meter. The shower looks like something out of the movie "The Country Boy," with furniture and fixtures from the 1980s. I spent €105, which seems like pure madness to me.
