We came here a few times and every time the food and wine was Great! However, we need to give a special mention to our waiter (from Bangladesh) who was friendly and helpful. The most important thing …I left my bag with my phone and credit cards on the back of the chair, outside! He found it and kept it safe with the manager (?) my husband ran back after a number of hours and they still had it, and had kept it safe. Im so grateful! This speaks to honesty and integrity. Enjoyed it so much the first time, we went there two nights in a row. Nice variety of food - Italian, curry and burgers. My son loved the tagliatelle with lobster. Everything we ate was great. Excellent service, and yummy spritz!

We visited Muro Frari with our kids, and it was a pleasant stop during our day out in Venice. The kids absolutely loved their pizza and pasta — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. I had the vegetarian couscous, which was nicely done and satisfying. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was relaxed, even with little ones in tow. However, the attention to detail was a bit lacking — a few small things were missed (like milk for coffee or checking in after food was served), which kept it from being a five-star experience. Overall, a good family-friendly spot with great food for kids and decent vegetarian options. We’d return for the pizza and the easy-going vibe.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Muro Frari during our trip to Venice! After trying several restaurants in the city, we can confidently say that this was the best in terms of both service and food. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was also magical—a perfect combination of a cozy setting and genuine Italian hospitality. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our evening so special. We had a great dinner here! My wife and I both had pizzas, both were delicious. Molten chocolate cake and creme brulee were also excellent. I have nothing but good things to say. I love this place! You can feel Italian vibe here, that is actually hard to find on Venice island. Pizza was delicious, and that cute shape made it even better. Wine was good too. It was a real pleasure to be there. The staff was nice and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Highly recommend the place. We visited the restaurant twice for dinner during our visit to Venice. We tried both the pizza (which had a thin crisp which we liked) and had a soup and meat dish the second time which also was very good. Nice atmosphere, great staff, and excellent food. What more can one demand. Price was also very fair (2 pizzas with desserts and two beers + water = around 50 euro, other meal around 70 euro).

Fantastic food. A little pricey , but not crazy. They do add a cover charge, but its worth it. We went there on a Tuesday evening and were seated immediately. It was packed shortly after. Veggie lasagna, steak and potatoes, calamari...all delicious!

Locale piccolo e accogliente, situato a pochi passi dalla Basilica dei Frari. Il menù è vario e propone piatti di carne, di pesce e anche la pizza. Abbiamo provato diversi primi di pesce, che ci hanno soddisfatto, e anche la pizza è risultata buona. Prezzi in linea con quelli di Venezia, ma senza eccessi.

Voto reale 4,5 ma non è possibile inserirlo. Abbiamo prenotato per 9 e hanno gestito bene le varie richieste. Pizza ben fatta e in molti casi con prodotti locali della tradizione. Buona anche la carne. Ambiente funzionale, semplice e moderno.

Locale molto piccolo ma ben attrezzato, erano disponibili sia posti al coperto che fuori con lampade riscaldanti. Noi siamo arrivati per le 21 senza prenotazione e abbiamo trovato posto. Personale cortese e abbastanza preparato. Abbiamo mangiato focaccia con erbette, polpette in umido (buone, un po’ particolari con aggiunta di spezie) e lo chateaubriand con le patate. La carne ci è stata servita intera al tavolo su pietra ollare: il cameriere si è premurato di tagliarla e distribuirla sui due piatti. La pietanza era succosa e molto buona, le patate in accompagnamento non ci sono molto piaciute forse perché troppo speziate. Buona la maionese con erbette che ci è stata servita con il contorno. Nel complesso l’esperienza è stata positiva.

Ho scelto questo posto per celebrare la mia laurea. Molto carino e il cibo 10/10, però dentro è un po' stretto e senti le persone pasare molto accanto a te.

Locale che conferma negli anni la qualità dell'offerta. Pizza dell'impasto leggero ma consistente e dagli ottimi ingredienti. Cous cous ricco di sapori (crostacei compresi). Servizio veloce e gentile. Posizione a pochi passi dai Frari. Meglio prenotare per le ristrette dimensioni e soprattutto la grande domanda.

Personale molto cortese e professionale, ambiente figo, ottima selezione di piatti, ottimi ma non eccellenti. Menzione d'onore per la focaccia invece che era perfetta.

The service and atmosphere are wonderful. The restaurant is located right next to a canal and it's quite busy throughout the day with staff who work hard to be efficient, friendly, and thorough. They offer complimentary breadsticks and slices of bread. There are some vegetarian options offered on the menu as well. I tried asking about making the stuffed eggplant dish vegetarian, but they could not do it for me so I got a vegetarian fusili pasta dish. It was very nicely presented and was made with fresh, high quality ingredients, but tasted quite bland. I asked for some chili oil and parmesan cheese to give it a bit more flavour, especially since this is my last stop on a trip through Italy after eating a lot of delicious, flavourful food. My partner got the polenta with squid. Again, it was presented very beautifully, and he said it was cooked very well, but lacked seasoning. The food is probably meant to satisfy the needs of tourists with varying degrees of spice tolerance. Standard Venetian prices for the area (everything is more expensive around the touristy areas).

Food was excellent. I ordered the white rabbit ragu and it was amazing. I highly recommend it. Prices are decent for the experience. As far as service, it was not the best. Our waiter was quite mundane and didn’t seem interested in serving us. Other staff seemed friendly, but the gentleman serving us was not.

I prezzi sono elevati: una pizza costa in media 12 euro , un primo costa in media 13 euro e per i secondi si va sulle 20 euro. La pizza non era il massimo, a mio avviso un po insipida. La location buona. Il personale , soprattutto la ragazza con i capelli corti è stata molto professionale e cordiale.

Hopped in to this place because the vibes are very much on point. The place is really nice and comfortable, but our service was less than stellar. There wasn't a language barrier with our server, yet he was short with all of us. Didn't seem too thrilled with our presence. The food was all presented really well! However each of us did feel like our meals were quite underseasoned. From the sound of some other reviews, the pizza may have been the play here, as we mainly ordered pasta dishes. The food was good, the drinks were okay but the server was not. We felt like we weren't welcomed there, the server never even smiled once. Replied to our requests very rudely and most of the times not replied/acknowledged to it at all.

Absolutely the worst food in Venice. The pasta were saucy and flavourless. See food was overcooked and chewy. Looked like the food was microwaved from frozen. The food arrived in less than 5 mins. Please please avoid this place even if you are desperate or have no tastebuds. And the prices were what you would pay in good restaurants serving fresh produce.
