Peet's Coffee

The place was crowded on a Sunday. I do not normally do coffee places. I must say every worker was so nice and professional. Yes they had snakes and stuff. I just wanted a strong cup of coffee. The place delivered.

My favorite coffee spot. The baristas are all friendly and the coffee is great! I visit entirely way too much but it’s worth it. It does get busy so ordering ahead on the app is a must some times.

I love the Saturday lunchtime with live music a great way to spend an hour or two. Extra points for the Wi-Fi, plug sockets at every table and letting me bring my dog, who always enjoys the attention she gets when we go. A must-visit for all coffee lovers!

I always love a Peet's coffee over another large brand. Had a delish dirty chai today and friendly, prompt service. The restroom was also very nicely appointed and clean!

A+ staffing. Today I went on my work break to pick up a mobile order (Horchata CB) around 10:00AM and the employee on bar was going above and beyond to accommodate everyone and making sure people were waiting as little as possible. Judging but all the customers in the lobby, she was BUSY. To top it all off she unfortunately had a disgruntled ‘Karen’ who was upset she kept changing her order and her drink wouldn’t remain the same (?). She returned her drink and asked for a SPLASH of milk in her coffee and got the drink remade with a literally splash which wasn’t good enough for her. The barista had every reason to be upset but she seemed to stay calm and continued with her workflow. Thank you for your hard work ladies, I’ll be back :) Wish I had gotten the barista’s name, it skipped my mind as I watched her hustle.

Delish Coffee I try hard not to go here everyday...but it’s hard not to. Only thing I get is a light ice cold brew coffee.

I love these guys they're so awesome and nice but Unfortunately they are a great coffee shop in a really bad plaza I bought a blended coffee and a muffin which tasted good and very soft and moist and I was charging my devices as I was sitting outside at one of their tables with my stuff and my dog getting harassed by the security neighboring businesses and property management even though the manager of peets coffee came trying to defend me and telling security that I'm a paying customer and that it's OK for me to be there but the harassment wouldn't stop so I ended leaving I would really love to go here again if they were at a different location so I would be able to actually sit and enjoy my muffin and coffee knowing that it was made with love

Been here few times and I really like this Peet's. What i like is that people seem to know each other, like its a family owned. Studied here few times and wasnt so loud. I did come at times where it was super loud and that I did not like. Their staff are really nice and professional. I had been helped by Jesse and few others, all have great manners and are wonderful plus coffee is good. Def return and recommend to everyone. They have variety of non dairy milk, creams which is nice. good coffee

I love peets coffee. I can reliably get a good black coffee any time they are open for business. On top of that the fellas and gals working here are always super sweet and gracious to all my whims of coffee delight. ☕️

Love it here! The place looks great and very vibrant. The service is very nice and very accommodating. The coffee is good and their food is also good. You can also buy beans from them and you can also get a specific beans for half pound only if you are just testing it out. When you buy beans from them you get a free coffee which is really nice deal. This would be you go to coffee! You should try their Chicken & Waffles!

Now, it’s always this Peet’s, unless there’s no other option (weird hours, traveling, etc). We love the calm and warm friendliness of the crew, the more “adult” vibe, and the coffee is much better, too!

They have the best coffee around (in the entire state of California.) Take the time to explore their different coffees. We get the beans and grind them in the morning so the coffee is FRESH! The Victoria store could use another person waiting on customers but, given our current economic climate, I don't mind a little wait to get what I want. The staff are great so it is worth the wait.

This location has Ripple milk! Has more protein than oat milk and is more sustainable than dairy, rice, or almond milk. But they charge 80 cents more for non-dairy and that’s not cool

Good selection of coffee and tea. $2.75 for a medium cup of dark French roast coffee. No long lines to wait in or crowded seating area to contend with at 6 PM on a weekday.

It's alright for me. Always hard to get in and out in the parking lot. There are lots of tables to sit at...but, for me not extra special...much like a Starbucks. Good for locals.

It's always busy here but I'm not sure why. The coffee is meh at best and the staff is sooooooooo slow. Atmosphere is basic. Nothing stand out. The staff were ok but they need to review the menu so they know what they have of stock because nearly every time I've gone something is out.

*NO MILITARY DISCOUNT* Friendly cashier today, but the coffees on tap were all blends, no single origin coffees. I like to know what I'm tasting in my cup. After ordering a blended frozen drink instead of the single origin coffee I was hoping for, the baristas were placid and semi-stagnant. However... they made a damn good drink served with a smile. The ambiance was institutional instead of cozy and the traffic flow was not planned out well. All in all a mediocre experience, a disappointment considering Peet's history.

I did appreciate that they had an egg white and turkey bacon option but it was microwaved and soggy and very small. Service was quick but robotic and not friendly.

My experience does not follow the YELP trend. I expect more from a coffee shop with 4 stars. That's why I'm writing my experience here. My experience is the coffee is overpriced and not particularly good. The staff is snotty. The furniture is uncomfortable and dirty. If YELP is filtering out "real" reviews from people like me or if Peet's is paying people to write good reviews, then I understand completely. I believe Peets is trying too hard to copy Starbucks. The guy that owns Peet's is from west Germany. So much for OUR ECONOMY.

The staff overall at Peets is rude & the ambiance is quite lousy. The coffee is burnt tasting more often than not & the bakery case is inexplicably uncovered. The surrounding parking lot is awash with hoods & meth heads on bicycles.

no stars, true enough its a great alternate to starbucks .. but only bcuz starbucks is too popular.. the customer service is horrible. who said it was a good idea to have a snobby hipster coffee spot. the products are cheap , the people are rude , and it smells funny . the only positive thing is that the restrooms are clean . but honestly .. the coffee sux its cheaper than starbucks but .. you truly get what you pay for.

I usually order and tip through the app but it wasn't working the other afternoon so I ordered online as a guest but when you do that they don't give you the option to tip online so I planned to tip in cash when I got there until a new male employee I didn't recognize was rude and sarcastic to me. I'm glad I didn't tip him after all because he intentionally burnt my food and added too much water to my oatmeal so I had to throw it away. How hard is it to simply reheat something? Plus they recently raised the prices. Congrats on losing a repeat customer.

Since Peet's being bought by JAB Holding in 2012 for $977.6 million The quality of their beverages has plummeted. I remember when bags of coffee had recommended consume by dates and when brewed looseleaf tea was something that you could get at Pete’s locations. Puehr Tea is no longer an option and has not been available for years. What was once a symbol of quality has now become a brand to pad a portfolio. Old review: Some of the best coffee and tea in the area. If you are lucky they will have ancient trees puehr in stock. The are one of the few chains to feature puehr tea.
