The cakes are delicious, but I only pay in cash. You should buy a clip or something similar to a Mercado Pago calculator that costs like 200 pesos and with that you can charge by card 💳. You only need a debit card and the commission is like 5 pesos for every 100 pesos. I have no problem paying it, but update yourselves and for the love of God sell with Didi or Rappi. We are willing to pay the commission but it makes life easier for many of us. In short, they are delicious although expensive, but they are no longer valuable because they are not as accessible, they do not accept cards 💳 and they do not have Didi or Rapido.

Delicious tortas! They come with avocado, beans, fried onions, tomato, mayonnaise, and your choice of meat, from breaded chicken cutlets to cheese, pork legs, etc. The only issue I had was that the menu sometimes confused the breaded chicken cutlet torta with the breaded chicken cutlet torta, as people mistakenly thought the former was grilled chicken. I've included a photo of the menu from a few days ago because they updated their prices. Oh! You can also call, place your order, and let them know what time you'll pick it up. Two delicious and original items are their sweet chipotle peppers and their natural strawberry water.

If you're looking to fill your stomach, you've come to the right place. There's a variety of tortas. I just went, and I think they're close to the old-fashioned ones; they're still very good. The Cuban one is spectacular, although there are others that also deserve attention, like the leg torta or the chicken Milanese. The plus is the delicious strawberry horchata, which I haven't found comparable here in Xalapa. Plus, the condiments to accompany your "tortuga" are made by the owners, who are also the cooks and the ones who serve you. The prices aren't as affordable, but it's a matter of priorities... It's worth stopping by. I think they open around 1 p.m.

The price of the tortas depends on how much topping you want or how big you want it.

For their budget, a menu that's just a watered-down copy is unacceptable. First and last time. Personally, I prefer the tortas at La Alvaradeña—fairly priced and generously portioned.
