It's a favorite place of mine. After a couple of less-than-happy managements in recent years, it's now run directly by the cooperative members, with a professional chef. Authentic dishes, generous portions without excess, and attention to quality ingredients (right down to the Guatemalan coffee). Last visit was on Saturday for lunch; during the Bread Festival, the menu also featured dishes using rye as a base. The real added value, however, is the atmosphere of the place, with its billiards table, the outdoor seating area bordering the vegetable garden, the stove that warms you in the winter, and the tiled shop that looks like something out of a 1950s movie.

Finally, a genuine and sincere place that captures your heart; it's not an ALL U CAN EAT, it's not a starred restaurant, it's not a pretentious restaurant that imitates a starred restaurant by doing its homework well and charging you a lot. It's a place where you eat well, quality raw materials, local, treated with care and attention. Excellent menu and excellent wine list. I was skeptical about desserts that can enhance or ruin a romance and I had to change my mind; the tiramisu was exceptional. Beautiful location, beautiful outdoor garden and friendly and welcoming staff. Much more than fair price and if you want you can also take home some specialties

A cooperative that is doing very well under new management. Unfortunately, the current situation doesn't allow us to dine in right away, but the delicious dishes prepared by the new chef can be ordered for takeout. Generous and generous portions and light cuisine made with quality ingredients. The shop offers often sought-after products from local, quality producers at affordable prices! What can I say? We hope the restaurant reopens soon!

A beautiful place from another era...it feels like stepping back in time to the 60s and 70s. Nothing pretentious, but authentic and charming. The cold cuts and cheeses are spectacular, especially the liver mortadella. The staff is truly friendly. I honestly recommend you try it.

It's been a while since we've been back to La Vittoriosa, and we were pleased to see it where it was, but above all, as it was. The place is magical, frozen in time, and this characteristic slows the clock, which, for once, ticks slowly and pleasantly. The food is plentiful and carefully prepared. Given my lactose intolerance, the chef took care to prepare a meat dish on the spot with a side of tomatoes: a simple and healthy meal. The service is kind and attentive. La Vittoriosa therefore offers not only a break from the city's pace but also a delightful journey back in time: looking at the wooden tables, cupboards, and marble floors, it's impossible not to think of grandmothers' old kitchens. Always and forever in our hearts.

Truly excellent food! The outdoor seating is shaded and spacious. The staff is very helpful and patient. The wait between the appetizer and the main course may be a bit long, but it's also true that having chosen the risotto with sausage and radicchio (which I recommend), a bit of patience is required. The gnocco fritto is a must these days: soft, fluffy, and not at all greasy. The San Daniele ham is appreciated even by someone like me who isn't crazy about prosciutto crudo. And the desserts... so mouthwatering!
