Vado spesso . Per me ottima pizza. Luogo accogliente , con me sempre stato disponibile a trovare un tavolo anche senza prenotazione. Quasi sempre aperto e disponibile al servizio anche oltre le 22.30 ... Non ve ne sono molti a Genova.... Quartiere signorile e tranquillo. Genova non offre molto per esempio nel dopo teatro o cinema e qui vado sempre a colpo sicuro. Buoni anche i piatti assaggiati oltre alle pizze

Visited here while I was working in Genoa. The pizza was amazing and so good that I returned a few days later. Usually in the U.K I don't eat a lot of pizza but this was delicious. A big pizza stuffed with flavours and only €10, absolute bargain. Friendly lady served me and she was very polite and helpful. I didn't reserve but they do get busy so I recommend reserving a table. Tonight, we had the pleasure of dining at Mattoni Rossi in Genoa, an experience that left us thoroughly impressed and satisfied. The highlight of our meal was the gnocchi paired with prawns and clams—a dish that masterfully balanced delicate flavors with a comforting, homemade feel. My partner opted for the pesto pasta, a choice that was equally delightful, showcasing the fresh, vibrant flavors Genoa is famous for. We couldn’t resist rounding off our meal with tiramisu, a decision we didn’t regret. Each spoonful was a perfect blend of coffee and creamy sweetness, encapsulating the essence of this classic dessert. Just don’t get caught wiping your finger in the tiramisu by another diner, like I did! The accompanying beer and wine selections complemented our dishes beautifully, enhancing the overall dining experience. Mattoni Rossi not only delighted our palates but also provided a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist. We went back a second night and had the pizza, just as good! We wanted to go the next night but it was closed due to being a Sunday! We were the only English people and Italians clearly love this place! Ok, we went back a third night out of four! Love this place!

Nice place for some good food. We had as an starter some calamari which was really nice and a small platter with different meats. For main course we had some pizzas and it also was a good pizza and would rank it as one of the best I had.

Reservation was easy to make online, and the restaurant called to follow up and clarify details. Food was great, the pizza was the best we’ve had in Italy so far since we moved here a few months ago. Very conveniently located across the street from the hotel we stayed at, Melia Genova. Would definitely eat here again!

Abbiamo mangiato qui un’ottima pizza, croccante e digeribile come piace a noi. Come dolce abbiamo preso un tiramisù fatto in casa veramente spettacolare. Il locale è molto carino, caratterizzato da arcate di mattoni da cui prende il nome, il personale è molto gentile e alla mano Consigliatissimo!

Ci sono andato per pranzo un paio di mesi fa. Non ho potuto provare la pizza, che mi dicono buinissima, perchè non avevo tempo, ma devo dire che anche la cucina normale era all'altezza della zona e del servizio. Consigliato se vi trovate a Carignano

Scelto per caso per un pranzo veloce. Servizio ottimo e poke squisita. Prezzi molto onesti. Ottima pausa..

Abbiamo cercato un ristorante raggiungibile a piedi dall'hotel ed abbiamo trovato questo bel posticino. All'interno è fatto a volte con i mattoncini a vista, bello l'arredamento minimal. Buonissima la calamarata, tagliata un pochino dura (non ci è stata chiesta la cottura). Servizio veloce e attento, personale molto gentile, conto nella media.

Probably the busiest late night bar and aperitivo place in town for 30+ crowd. I liked it. Can't say it was the best bar I've ever been to but it was lively and downstairs they'll have live music and I believe they serve meals. Aperitivo food wasn't great but drinks are much better. Good for a night out. Bit out of the way if you're visiting the old center.

Sarebbe il caso di aggiornare gli orari di apertura.. Diceva aperto e invece era chiuso. Visto il freddo e il vento non è stato piacevole. Peccato perché la pizza è molto buona.

It was a nice establishment. The food was ok. We had pizza, a plate of salami and french fries. The pizza was cold. I don't know if this is some other way to serve it, but still it strike me a bit unprepared for it. Other than that, nothing special.

The first course is nice. The main courses where okay. Way to expensive for the quality. We had the sliced beef that had a lot of fat on it and the burger that just tasted like nothing. Highly recommended the spaghetti carbonara though. Nice atmosphere too.

Rispetto ad anni fa, a mio parere, decisamente peggiorato. Penso la cosa piu triste della serata fosse il pesto: poco saporito e quasi come fosse annacquato. La grigliata di pesce non vale la pena prenderla... peccato perche il filetto di tonno ai semi era buono e questo significa che saprebbero cucinare bene ma il filetto nella grigliata totalmente sbagliato sottile e stopposo. Non so mi dispiace perché è stato un buon punto di riferimento per la mia infanzia e anche per molti anni dopo, ma sembra che tra i vari cambiamenti ci sia stato poca considerazione della qualità.

Per un aperitivo con un amico. Servizio davvero poco attento e molto “distaccato” addirittura scocciato. Non hanno salutato quando siamo entrati e hanno continuato a parlare tra loro attaccati al bancone del bar. Aperitivo con due taralli e olive con alcuni piccoli pezzi di panini. Per un costo di 18 euro. Benissimo direi che hanno perso due clienti.

Aperitivo con colleghi di lavoro , servizio pessimo aperitivo quasi dopo 2 ore di attesa , più persone con Negroni hanno avuto fastidi nella notte , personalmente ma di testa e vomito , anni che non stavo così male dopo aperitivo !!!!

⛔⛔⛔⛔⛔ TOURISTS PLEASE AVOID!!!! We went for coffee and they short changed us claiming they got mixed up with the note we gave them. In good faith we went for dinner, bad idea!!!!! We had 2 aperol spritz, 2 glasses of wine and fried anchovies..... We could not work out the bill breakdown - most likely confusing on purpose!!! When my husband challenged it 3 people confronted him, the wine is €6 per small wine (apparently) and 6 fried anchovies €15. The maths of the bill doesn't add up, they are ripping people off. This is absolutely not what the locals were paying. They are ripping tourists off and the service is rude..... AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌
