Small place and maybe a little too "informal". The staff is very kind and friendly, they make you feel at home! As for the dishes, excellent raw materials, we tried a bit of everything and it was a positive experience in everything! We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! Recommended!

Informal service...friendly and efficient staff...quality products...excellent value. I recommend the appetizer, it's delicious. Pizza with mortadella, fior di latte, and pistachios...a real treat. Pizza alla Norma made exclusively for us (it's not on the menu)...fabulous. We'll be back.

Sicilian pizzeria restaurant, excellent, generous, and delicious dishes. Here you can find typical Sicilian dishes prepared well. The meusa sandwiches and panelle sandwiches are delicious. The cannoli are incredibly good!

We wanted to try this restaurant serving traditional Sicilian cuisine. Perhaps the menu could have been a bit more varied, given the sheer number of typical Sicilian dishes, but the ones available are good. The same dishes are prepared slightly differently in different cities, so it's understandable that some of the flavors might be different from what I'm used to. Personally, they're helpful. The only problem is that parking nearby isn't easy to find, but that's not their fault, although it's something to consider for guests.

We had lunch for two on Sunday at this restaurant serving Sicilian specialties. The food quality was very average, with little variety. The biggest flaw for my experience, however, wasn't the food, but rather the service. There's only one waitress in the dining room taking orders, so there's already a wait. We started with a glass of wine that was returned because it contained a small piece of cork... It can happen. I promptly replaced the glass, but the second glass arrived very dirty, but I pretended nothing had happened. I ordered two first courses and two second courses. The total time to eat was a good two hours. It seems excessive to me. The second course was brought to us at two different times... In short, two people were at the table, and the second course arrived first to one and then the other. To top it all off, I ordered a parmigiana... lukewarm. I had to ask for cutlery and bread because they hadn't been served. I didn't order anything else so as not to wait even longer. Two hours for two dishes each seemed excessive to me.

A simple trattoria, both in terms of its location and the preparation of its dishes. You have to like Sicilian cuisine. In my opinion, nothing particularly good, enough to shout about, as I've read in some reviews that say the food is excellent. "Benessere" (very good) is a different story for those who know their stuff. But not bad either. Let's say it's neither praise nor infamy. Personally, trattorias where you eat truly well, featuring good food cooked the way it used to be, where the flavors and aromas fill your senses, are different. But overall, I wouldn't recommend it or not. Try it and judge for yourself... I don't think I'll return. There was nothing that appealed to my palate that I'd want to replicate. Prices are normal... but it would be a rip-off if they were raised given what's on offer.

We're not there yet: I'll start by saying that I'm Sicilian and have worked in two kitchens as a kitchen assistant in the past. I'm writing this review after returning to this restaurant for dinner for the third time after some time, despite having read about what happened to its customers at Christmas 2024, confident that they'll be satisfied. It's certainly nice that there's a place in the area that tries to offer these dishes, but the cuisine DOES NOT REFLECT SICILIAN TRADITION, and overall there are numerous shortcomings. Let's start with the staff, who are friendly and outgoing but apparently lack the proper dining room training. In short, this is a self-taught family-run restaurant. The white wine we chose, which we know, isn't 100% perfect because it's an older vintage that's been sitting there too long; unfortunately, we realized this after tasting it. The panelle are quite good, but the nunnata meatballs aren't made with real nunnata, but rather with icefish, and the dough contains more egg and flour than anything else. Overall, the fried foods are crispy, but knowing the ingredients, I'm convinced they're originally frozen, even if they're good quality. The problem is that there's no asterisk on the menu, nor the fried food, the arancini, and the sardines a beccafico. The first courses are tasty but lacking in detail: the breadcrumbs are barely toasted (or not at all), the salted Sciacca sardines, which in some photos of other reviews are just for decoration and enrich the dish, weren't there. So, I was served a pasta dish with garlic, oil, and chili pepper, with dried tomatoes and probably a regular supermarket anchovy dissolved in the soffritto just to add flavor. The caponata isn't caponata: runny, without its sweet and sour note, without olives, and with the celery practically raw, plus a very small portion. Now for the worst dish of the evening: the sarde a beccafico, completely untraditional. They were presented as croquettes made from large sardines full of scales and spines from the ventral area, completely poorly cleaned before preparation. Furthermore, the color of the flesh was pink, typical of Atlantic sardines, not Mediterranean ones. They were stuffed with pecorino cheese... don't expect currants, fennel, bay leaves, and orange juice. Finally, the cannoli, deliberately requested with candied fruit but served with a mixed mince stuck on top, not the classic cherry and orange zest. The anelletti were loose, completely loose, and not gratinated. At the end of the evening, the staff sat down to watch the game on TV. We won't be returning.

Business lunch: I waited 45 minutes for a Margherita pizza, forced to eat it quickly so as not to be late for work. The pizza was smaller than the standard I've found several times at this restaurant. I'm sorry, but I doubt I'll go back. Eating a Margherita in a restaurant should be convenient, but it was a terrible experience.
