Ho pranzato con mia moglie in questo piccolo locale. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo,le ragazze sono state gentilissime,molto sorridenti e cordiali,trovarne in questo periodo specialmente in un luogo turistico. Per quanto riguarda il prezzo confronto agli altri locali forse il più basso di tutti e molto buono. Complimenti alla cucina,ma soprattutto alle ragazze della sala!!!! Meritate di più di 5 stelle!!!!

Enoteca molto carina e tranquilla, il personale è discreto e gentile, ci trovi facilmente gente del posto, i prezzi sono assolutamente onesti e non turistici, i prodotti di qualità, spaghetti con le acciughe, con la polpa di ricci, le trofie al pesto e il salmone affumicato semplicemente stupendi. What a delightful little spot in Corniglia! It was one of our best meals in Italy. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was delicious. We had some walnut and pistachio ravioli (we’re vegetarian) and it was excellent. The house wine is local and very good as well. We recommend Mario’s place for a very good, fairly priced meal.

This was hands down the best meal of our entire trip to Italy! We first noticed the restaurant at lunchtime when it was buzzing with people (mostly locals by the look of it), so we figured ‘go where the locals go’ and decided to book a table for dinner. We’re so glad that we did, as it’s a cosy little spot and we saw quite a few people turned away because it was already full. We ordered a bottle of the house white, trofie al pesce spada (swordfish), paccheri al salmone, sott’oli misti (mixed vegetables in olive oil) and of course tiramisu. Every single dish was absolutely incredible, jam packed with flavour and made with the freshest ingredients. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and the whole experience was just perfect. We spent about an hour and a half savouring every bite and would return in a heartbeat!

Excellent food, and good prices too. We are used to smaller portions in other Italian cities so we ordered pasta and a second plate of swordfish to share. The first courses were plenty for us, but the fish was pretty good too.

Very tasteful meals, I recommend the smoked sordid fish! (Unique) . The staff is welcoming and the place cute and authentic. We've already had two diners in this place and we will probably have a third one. Best place to eat in the neighbourhood :)

Lunch here was fantastic - really fresh, great value delicious pasta dishes and the house wine is lovely. We ordered the salmon pasta, pesto and spaghetti with clams were all excellent. Friendly service, and really vintage and fun interior (with a pretty incredible whisky collection too!)

Delicious food. We were told by another tourist to check out this restaurant. The first night my husband had The trofie with swordfish was delicious. The permacchi with salmon tasted delicious. The serving size of salmon was less than usual, I would have wanted more salmon. We came back a second night. My husbabd had the same dish and I had the stuffed Ravoli it was good but portion size was smaller than what I would have liked. I got about 6 small ravioli. Food was delicious. Girl waters were polite and quick to bring food. Owner was friendly. House white wine was good, was locally made by owner with local vineyard. For the price was well worth it. Way better than Terra Rossa the nearby the view in Cornigilia and it was not very good and cost a lot more. Also, We ate at a restaurant in Montessero and was way over priced and no flavor. So definitely we'll worth the price for the quality of the food.

I visited here for lunch in March while in Corniglia on my trip to Cinque Terre. I had the artichoke bruschetta and pesto pasta. One of my favorite and most delicious meals in Italy. I had the entire restaurant to myself as it was the off season and the owners were absolutely so kind and provided great service. They made it feel like a home away from home. 💚

This restaurant is a true gem, unlike the commercial touristy spots. The pasta is absolutely delicious, and the black pasta is a must-try. I adore it so much that we ordered more pasta to share after our meal. But my absolute favorite is the ink pasta. It is perfectly cooked and the sauce is rich and flavorful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic pasta experience.

Probably this is the best restaurant in Corniglia. Try spaghetti con aciughe. PERfECT. Owner Mario is crazy but i love him. Great wine and whisky list. Probably the best i in Cinque Terre. Must go there!!

The food here is very good, though the bread was a little hard! Wine was very drinkable, according to the Vivino app it costs £20 at home! Pasta was delicious and well worth the attitude of the owner who apparently doesn’t appreciate business! Served by a helpful waitress. Cash only tonight but think that’s related to WiFi issue. Was empty when we arrived, but by the end of the night it was packed. Well worth a visit.

OUTSTANDING! So happy we stumbled upon this quaint restaurant. The dinner we had was the best that we’ve had in italy yet and that’s saying a lot. We had the swordfish pasta and the raviolino- both very unique, fresh, and fantastic. The service was great, with the owner jumping in to serve tables, chatting with customers, just a lovely little friendly Italian home feel. The white house wine, made here in Corniglia was great, we even bought a bottle to go. It has the owners face pic on it! Highly recommend! Enjoy! Oh! Don’t forget dessert- tiramisu and crème brûlée that comes out still on fire!

Very nice atmosphere. The boss welcomes us. You can be sittzd upstairs or groundfloor. Very nice choicenof food. Large raviolis were excellent. Service is quick and efficient. I loved decoration inside. Fresh and quality food. Home made tiramisu is a must. I highly recommend the place, 10 points. Prices are ok.

Sono stato al Pirun con la mia fidanzata. Locale molto carino, un po’ piccolino ma è caratteristico del posto. In questa stagione è molto affollato quindi si consiglia di prenotare. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Antipasto di misto mare ottimo, con pesce fresco e carpaccio di pesce spada favoloso!! Come primo abbiamo entrambi preso le trofie al pesto, anche queste squisite e molto abbondamti. Abbiamo bevuto acqua naturale e mezzo litro di vino bianco della casa, oserei dire molto più che onesto. C’era abbastanza confusione e la roba da bere ci è arrivata dopo che avevamo finito di mangiare l’antipasto, ma appena accorti dell’accaduto il personale ci ha subito portato tutto facendoci mille scuse. Cibo abbondante e buono, assaggiati per la prima volta i testaroli con il pesto , tipici , buoni ma non mi hanno convinta del tutto , forse per la consistenza morbida della pasta . Il proprietario super cordiale, socievole e divertente!

Bel posto, dove si mangia bene e a prezzi ancora onesti. Fidandosi del titolare, abbiamo anche bevuto molto bene. Il locale si differenzia dai soliti locali per turisti proprio per la capacità del "padrone del vapore" di intrattenere i clienti con aneddoti di ogni genere, ma soprattutto musicali. Peccato per l'angolo "karaoke" (video con testi alla TV) un po' demodè e il locale trovato chiuso la sera successiva, che ci ha costretti a cambiare programma .... che però non influenza il giudizio molto positivo...

Good restaurant. Better than some of the other ones we tried in Corniglia. We ordered the tuna, alright, came with a little salad and potatoes. The pasta with pesto and tomato sauce was okay, good sauce and great portion. But wow the real showstopper was the ravioli. Its a smaller portion, but wow, so so tasty!! Not too expensive, service alright, beautiful little restaurant with a family home feel to it.

It was relaxing atmosphere inside. You can see inside the mixed old style and modern style of the restaurant. I felt so home for this kind of old fashion inside of the restaurant. Sad to say the place is small but its ok cause the food were great and tatsy. Staff's are kind and the owner too, because he accepted us to eat lunch inside even though it was already 3 pm in afternoon. Im a kind of person quiet choosy when it comes to wine. But there wine were excellent .I surely recommend this restaurant

Fair value for money given the area and the fact there are not actually so many restaurants in Corniglia. We ended up eating there twice as other places were either full or not serving anything significantly different. In full season I'd recommend maybe having a reservation 🤣. The food is good, seafood appetizers, pasta, some meaty options as well. The famous ravioloni con ricotta and spinach are good, but if you're a trail walker and don't use the trains during the day, I'd say maybe don't make this your only course, they are literally 3 pieces on the plate:)

Il ristorante si trova nella via principale e si trova su due piani. La bruschetta al guanciale era veramente buona! I primi buoni, avremmo preferito con spaghetti più spessi ma questo è solo preferenza, agli spaghetti al riccio però purtroppo c’era poco riccio se non quasi assente. Servizio ottimo dalla ragazze. Ci siamo sentiti un pò a disagio quando è arrivata una ragazza a parlare con il personale in cucina di cose sue personali ad alta voce e non volendo sentivamo praticamente tutto (tra l’altro non erano sempre belle le parole) e ha creato un pò di disagio non solo per noi ma anche per il tavolo accanto al nostro).

Piatti buoni e ben preparati, in linea con il prezzo degli stessi. Location bella ma quando ci sono tutti i tavoli pieni si è molto vicini e c'è molto rumore che può turbare la tranquillità della cena. Il servizio è stato completo ma un po inesperto, per noi non è stato un problema ma la totale assenza della consonanza dell'inglese ha messo in difficoltà altri commensali.

Il menù è vario, i prezzi sono leggermente più bassi.non è possibile avere acqua a temperatura ambiente : l'acqua del rubinetto è freddissima e dato che viene "depurata" e , se richiesto, resa gasata non c'è modo di averla a temperatura ambiente.le cozze sono risultate un po' insapori, mentre i ravioli sono molto buoni. Localino nel centro città della bellissima Corniglia, pochi coperti ma molto caratteristico. Antipasto di mare ricco e molto squisito. Paccheri con scampi e zucchine buoni, ma probabilmente come spesso accade coi crostacei, il pesce si sentiva più che si potesse gustare. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile (anche se nessuno all'interno del locale indossava la mascherina). Pecca molto grossa..si può pagare solo con contanti, cosa INACCETTABILE al giorno d'oggi e che purtroppo, fa perdere una stella alla valutazione generale del posto.
