We had an excellent lunch and dinner at this historic trattoria on the Coronata hill. I absolutely recommend trying the stuffed anchovies and cod fritters as traditional Ligurian appetizers. The tuna carpaccio is also excellent. Among the first courses, the ravioli au tuccu and the Mandilli se sæa al profumo di Coronata (delicious pesto lasagna) are also traditional Ligurian dishes. Also worth trying are the excellent homemade tagliolini with fish sauce. Among the main courses, the fried seafood or Genoese-style stockfish are excellent. For dessert, the berry tart is to die for. Wash it all down with Gianchetta di Coronata!

Essendo stato invitato non so con precisione il costo dei piatti ma so che sicuramente le frittelle di baccalà erano molto buone e che i mandilli al pesto erano stra condite e meritano un nuovo assag…

We dined here on a Saturday night. There were 14 of us, and even with advance reservations, we were placed on the 9:00 shift. The service was extremely slow, and there were a few minor misunderstandings. The quality of the pizzas, however, is unquestionable: crispy dough (noticeable from the puffy crust) and quality toppings. The desserts, also good, are unremarkable. The restaurant is welcoming, although the dining room is quite noisy, and is decorated in a rustic style. The outdoor seating area is cool. The bill was reasonable: about €25 per person, including pizza, a drink, and dessert (no coffee). It's a short walk from parking your car.

I'll start by saying I never leave reviews, but right now I really feel like giving credit where credit is due. I learned about this restaurant purely by chance while searching Maps for a location for such an easy lunch... the positive reviews convinced me to choose it, and I can say I really appreciated it. Today, the clientele was typically Genoese (locals), but we were the outsiders, eh, and I can only give it a good rating: Ravioli were perfectly cooked, just the way I like them, a little al dente, and flavorful. Two fried dishes, one in line, were made from a frozen product (the asterisk on the menu indicates this), but they were excellently made. The desserts are a different story. I haven't found Mount Blanc since the days of the Miramare (a **** hotel where I worked), but the highlight is the warm hazelnut tart, with cream, and vanilla custard. A hint of caramel gave it a contrasting and tantalizing salty note. The place and its staff are beautiful. I'll stop here, but it's only right to reward those who deserve it. We spent a pleasant and cheerful evening with a group of colleagues. We had already booked two menus, one based on meat and one based on seafood, and both seemed to be very successful. Both menus shared a starter: Fassone beef tartare with fresh artichokes and parmesan, followed by cheese focaccia, both very good. I then enjoyed the fish menu: Rigatoni in shellfish sauce and Ligurian-style sea bream (average/good). The land menu included house-made ravioli al Tocco and Cinta carré with baked potatoes. The service was very prompt. Excellent value for money. The restaurant has a large dining room and, I'd say, also a terrace, which I glimpsed while going to the restrooms, which are outside and can be a bit inconvenient in the winter. I'll be back to try the pizzas, which looked excellent and smelled inviting.

A convivial dinner! We were here for a birthday. The place is located on the hills above Genoa. To get there, you have to drive along a somewhat narrow, two-way street, and you have to search around for parking. But the place is very welcoming (it's a shame it was a bit cold), and there's a friendly cat wandering around the tables. We ordered a charcuterie board and schiacciata, ravioli al tocco, tagliolini with shellfish, mandilli with pesto (delicious), tagliata with artichokes, and fried fish. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous! To finish, a mascarpone and amaretto mousse with melted chocolate. Approved! The pizza smelled delicious, I'll be back to try it.

Located on a hill in Genoa with a beautiful view, we came across this restaurant and pizzeria. The atmosphere is a bit dated, especially in the pizzeria area, but it's clean. That aside, the pizza is truly excellent! We only tried the pizza and the cheese focaccia, but it was worth it. If you're looking for a top-quality pizzeria, you've come to the right place. High-crust, crispy and soft, never chewy, excellent flavor. Highly recommended.

We had a truly wonderful meal. The pesto, homemade by them, is one of the best I've ever had. The dishes were generous, especially the two fried dishes, and the ingredients were high-quality. The place isn't exactly easy to get to, especially by car because of the parking and the rather narrow street. The place is very spacious and pleasant, and the service was excellent. I would have given it 5 stars, but unfortunately, we witnessed something that left us a bit shocked: a waiter dropped a sandwich on the floor and, after a while, pretending nothing had happened, put it back in the bread baskets to be served at the tables. If you really don't want to waste food, at least don't do it in front of customers who can see you... If it hadn't been for this, everything would have been perfect!

Direi che il cibo era buono, ma la frittura di pesce aveva solo anelli di totano e 4/5 gamberoni. Insomma un po' "povera". Anche il conto forse un po' elevato.

Davvero pessima serata. Abbiamo ordinato frittelle di baccalà e acciughe fritte. Ci sono arrivate cose surgelate e passi, ma pure surgelati scadenti. Immangiabile. Ho preso una focaccia col formagg…

Last attempt: failed! They scold you like you're a schoolboy. You can tell right from the moment you make your reservation, when you have to tell them whether you'll have pizza or cooked food, since they have to organize everything. If you change your mind, who will hear from the owner? It's better not to change your mind. When it comes to the bill, you have to be very focused, because if you don't promptly communicate how you intend to pay, there's trouble again. The man probably has a repressed talent, like an elementary school teacher, but he doesn't understand that his customers aren't his students! The prices are also comparable to those of a restaurant in Boccadasse, but it's a shame the restaurant is in Cornigliano. If you're a tourist, go there with peace of mind; you'll find classic Ligurian hospitality.
