Avaliações de Zza Maria Via Spalato
The aperitif/apericena was very good. Sicilian platter with panelle, arancini*, caponata, and other specialties + a drink for €15. Very friendly staff.
I brought a Sicilian friend here to celebrate his farewell to Turin in style. I was pleased to see that his initial skepticism gave way to enthusiasm for the quality of the dishes, both seafood and non-seafood, and for the warm Sicilian-style welcome. The manager was very kind, even offering us delicious small cannoli and amaro. The only flaw: a bit of a draft at the back of the restaurant, which is otherwise well-kept. I'll be back.
Baked anellini, fried sardines, and a textbook cannoli. Excellent and generous appetizer with light and flavorful panelle. The olives and sun-dried tomatoes in oil are noteworthy. We'll definitely return, perhaps for dinner.
A nice place where you can eat good food, truly Mediterranean flavor and atmosphere. We ordered two plates of seafood with two delightful artisan beers. Fresh fish, excellently cooked. A warm place to eat good food in a family atmosphere. If you want to feel at home, you have to come here. We ordered a pasta dish with mussels, clams, and calamari and an artfully prepared fried fish dish. The fish was fresh and cooked as tradition dictates.
I dined at this Sicilian restaurant with a capital S with my family on July 29th, and I have to say that in 15 years, I've never eaten such good fish in Turin. It was truly a wonderful discovery. The owner, Francesco, a Sicilian, is very kind, thoughtful, and attentive to his customers. The dishes are simply stunning, both to look at and, above all, to eat. The prices are fair. If I could, I would have given it 10 stars.
Amazing work lunch break with delicious fish based first + second course for 15 euros. Please just improve the espresso quality
Small restaurant serving Sicilian cuisine. Walks open on Wednesdays at lunchtime. We had a complete daily menu for €15. First and second courses included water and espresso. Dessert was extra, very reasonably priced. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The chef and staff were very friendly.
Very friendly staff, very fast service. Seafood starters worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant; the daily menu is €15, with either fish or meat, a first course, second course, and side dish. The side dish was exceptional, a stew of broad beans and fresh peas. And then, to finish, an amazing ricotta cassatina (a ravioli filled with fried ricotta).
Don’t miss the opportunity to have an authentic and fantastic Sicilian meal here!
What a pleasant discovery! We'll have to go back and try everything! Truly delicious, the staff, Maria, and chef Francesco are lovely! The cuisine and products are truly quality. A little Sicily on Via Spalato! ❤️ Highly recommended!! P.S. Francesco's anchovies have won all our hearts🐟
Fantastic place! Huge aperitivo, varied and delicious, even the cocktails. Very friendly staff. Great prices!!! We'll definitely be back. I've been back, and it's always delicious! The aperitivo is always plentiful, and the staff is very friendly (Melina was there, she was so sweet; she even gave me a little dessert when she found out it was my birthday! Thank you!).
I went last night with my girlfriend: a must-try place! The guy who served us was really kind and helpful. We had two aperitif platters: a Spritz with Aperol and one made with very fresh limoncello (it's not the lightest, so be careful). The platter was packed with food, as you can see from the photo, with various fried and non-fried specialties. I should also add that we were able to request a refill of food at no extra charge and receive a second platter. The only advice we can give: always make sure the fried foods are at least lukewarm when served; it's a shame to eat an excellent arancini or potato croquettes cold. We spent €10 each and will definitely be back!
I discovered this place by chance thanks to a friend of mine who had breakfast there, and what can I say... truly unique! First of all, what they offer is absolutely innovative, as they serve Sicilian and Neapolitan specialties (arancini, potato croquettes, crostini, caponata, panelle, montanarine, pasta frittatine, etc.) on the platter that accompanies the aperitif. When I found myself with a pasta frittatina with my aperitif (which is almost impossible to find in Turin), I couldn't believe it! Then, everything is made in-house, from sweet to savory, and the quality is truly excellent! The kindness and helpfulness of the staff is also extraordinary... My friend and I had an aperitif and then wanted to try some of the pizza we saw on display. Not only did the guy tell us it could easily be included with our aperitif, but he also asked if we wanted more panelle! Additionally, there was a birthday party at the restaurant where they served more elaborate dishes, which is why they can prepare full-blown meals upon request. The quality/price ratio was also excellent, considering that we only paid €10 for everything we ate, including a drink, of course. It's a place worth trying, and I can't wait to try the dessert too! Congratulations, and see you next time!
I discovered them through "Too Good to Go," and so far, they've been my most positive experience. The welcome was incredibly friendly, even though they were about to close, the furnishings are completely new, and the first impression was excellent. It's not one of those places that takes advantage of this app to give away mediocre food; on the contrary, everything was incredibly fresh and high-quality. The croissants were filled to bursting with pistachios or Nutella, and the savory options were truly flavorful. I'm not exaggerating when I say I've had the best arancini in Turin (sausage and mushrooms) in my experience. I highly recommend it, both through Too Good to Go and for regular purchases and eating on-site.

The place is very well-kept and clean, the staff is very friendly, the fish is fresh and well-cooked, and their desserts are delicious. Overall, we had a great meal. The only flaws, in my opinion, are the portions being too small for the price and the lack of lemon hand wipes. Regardless, I recommend it and will definitely be back to try other dishes.
A small restaurant with a simple yet clean and tidy atmosphere. It serves mainly Sicilian cuisine, but we only tried two desserts, the caponata, which was truly excellent, as were the octopus salad and seafood tagliatelle. The canolo and almond parfait were delicious. The service was courteous, and the bill was average.
First time, so-so experience, good food, fresh fish. We had a seafood tasting, but they told us it was a paltry 8 courses. We filled up on bread. There were supposed to be oysters, but they ran out even though I'd booked two days in advance. €35 per person, wine not included, with bottles starting at €22. If you need to fill up a bit, this is not the right place. The complete picture, and I say this willingly. The fish tasting menus: 8 courses, a spoonful of caponata per person, a small eggplant roll, a meatball per person, 4 marinated anchovy fillets, a bruschetta with tuna tartar, 2 mussels and a gratinated razor clam per person, 2 small trays of mixed fried fish to share between 8, made of sardines and anchovies with a few rings, 2 slices of tuna carpaccio per person. These would be 280 euros for the fish from the menus, another 50 euros for a bottle of wine, 4 of water and the rest for the covers, for a total of 330 euros. First of all, on Friday evening when I booked, the gentleman told me to hurry up and book for Sunday because there were still 10 places available. There were 8 of us. Too bad that on Sunday half the place was empty. Who knows, maybe they cancelled. This is the picture.
