We had a wonderful dinner, as we do every summer when we come to Elba! This year they added new dishes to the menu, which we tried on their recommendation: risotto, pezzonia, and a wonderful dessert with passion fruit and pineapple. The service is always excellent.

We trusted the positive reviews and were not disappointed. A small place in the center of the village, delicious food, and top-notch service! We were greeted by a young staff ready to accommodate our every request: we arrived with a Maremma Sheepdog, and despite the limited space, they reserved a corner for him to be comfortable. We kindly requested a vegan dish, and they accommodated us, exceeding our expectations. Definitely highly recommended! Given the limited seating, reservations are recommended!

Took a random turn after a night riding Capprazoppa & ended up here in bike gear. Kinda embarrassed but they were okay with. Not a bad to to end the night with the best Tuna tartar, Rabbit, Octopus. Best service ever. Great dog watching too.

September 7, 2024 - Dinner for six in the heart of the medieval gem that is Finalborgo. A stop on the small outdoor terrace at "La Botte Gaia" allowed us to appreciate not only the quality of the food—the short but tempting menu features savory pie, brandacujun, sliced ​​Fassona beef, and a cheese wheel—but also the cleanliness of the place and, even more so, the politeness and kindness of the young, attentive staff. The wine list is short but well-reviewed (the Altùris Cabernet Sauvignon is interesting). A place to visit and highly recommend.

An unforgettable dinner on July 28, 2024. They welcomed us at 10:15 PM, and we had over two hours to get home, but it was definitely worth it to enjoy this restaurant. Everything was simply superb: top-quality preparations, impeccable service and exemplary courtesy, a well-kept and very clean restaurant, and a fantastic outdoor seating area. A typical restaurant in the center of Finalborgo. Traditional Ligurian flavors, fresh ingredients, and homemade pasta. It's run by incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional people who, even on the busiest evenings, manage to provide the right attention, always with a smile. Perfect for a dinner with friends, family, or as a couple. We chose to share a few dishes to sample multiple dishes: cuttlefish salad with dried tomatoes and Taggiasca olives, fish-filled ravioli in tomato sauce, and tagliatelle with white monkfish ragu and brandacujun. All accompanied by a 1/2 liter of house white wine. Price: €70 for two (including water and two coffees). The digestif is on the house. If you're passing through Finalborgo, don't hesitate!

A very charming and traditional restaurant in the central square of Final Borgo. Relaxing atmosphere. We ordered: cuttlefish salad, tuna tartare, spaghetti with squid, a trofie pasta with pesto, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and octopus with puree. Followed by a cheese and compote platter, baked potatoes, and a bottle of Pigato wine. We had a wonderful time; everything was delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. Reasonable prices. I recommend it.

The food is excellent, though the portions are a bit small. The place is tiny, which means the cash register is right next to the tables, which are right next to the restrooms. Luckily, more customers arrived; a friend of mine and I were the only customers for half an hour, and the atmosphere was reminiscent of a museum—quiet, and the waiter standing motionless a meter away from us.

I don't understand how you can give 5-star ratings when you have to spend around €60 per person to have a satisfying (not gorging) dinner, and then (as other reviews have said) because the receipt doesn't list the itemized fare, but rather a set menu.
