Posto piccolo ma molto carino dove poter mangiare piatti tipici. Il cibo, anche se casereccio, è molto buono, con una discreta varietà di scelta. I ragazzi in sala sono molto gentili e sempre disponibili. Il prezzo è onesto e in linea con quello che viene offerto.

Da Celso si ritrova la tipica atmosfera delle piole Torinesi dove si mangia bene a prezzi ragionevoli. Cibo buono e saporito, dagli antipasti al secondo. Buon vino. Conto corrente. Consigliato. Occorre prenotare almeno una decina di giorni prima, per essere sicuri di trovare posto.

Più che consigliato! Ci hanno fatto sedere di sabato sera, nonostante il pienone e nonostante non avessimo prenotato. Personale gentilissimo, disponibile e molto accogliente, dai ragazzi più giovani alle signore che regnano in cucina. Il menù è quello della tipica cucina piemontese casereccia. Abbiamo scelto il menù fisso: 5 antipasti, 2 mezzi primi, un secondo e dolce (buonissima la torta al gianduia) e, oltre a uscire sazi, abbiamo speso solo 30 euro. Atmosfera viva e piacevole: i tavoli sono rimasti pieni per tutta la sera, dando una sensazione di calore e ospitalità. Sicuramente lo consiglieremo agli amici!

Esperienza potivissima. Ci trovavamo di passaggio e non avevamo prenotato. Sono riusciti a trovarci lo stesso un posticino pur di non farci andare via. Luogo molto accogliente e personale molto simpatico, gentile e disponibile. Ottimi piatti della tradizione piemontese e servizio molto veloce. Qualità delle materie prime ottima! Consigliatissimo. Abbiamo pranzato con la formula menù fisso, aggiungendo il vino. Molto abbondante, le portate una più buona dell'altra e prezzo super onesto. Il vero punto di forza, nonostante il cibo buonissimo, è la gestione: familiare, di una gentilezza e un'attenzione fuori dal comune. Ambiente non rumoroso, molto pulito e piacevole. Torneremo di sicuro.

Simply a wonderful place if you are looking for lokal Italian atmosphere and attitude. No fancy high class menu, but the best Piemonte dishes you will ever taste and all served with motherly love. ... PS: It was completely full on the Friday evening we went there, and people were standing at the front door waiting for a table to be free .... but luckily we had pre-booked a table by visiting the restaurant 2 h before opening. My dad and I had dinner at Piola Da Celso this evening and everything was prepared and cooked to perfection and with love. We didn’t have any issues not being able to speak Italian as the youngest member of staff spoke English. She was very helpful and made good recommendations. It was nice to be able to have a little bit of all the starters as one dish. We then had a pasta course and a dessert. This family run restaurant specialise in traditional food from Piedmont, and I would recommend anyone to come here if they have the chance. The price was also very reasonable.

From the exquisite typical torinese dishes that fill you up to the banter and authenticity of the hostess that contrasts with the usual formal dining experience. This was hands down one of the best traditional Italian restaurants I've ever ate at and I say this having lived in Italy now for almost 2 years. The food we had for lunch was provided with a tasting menu -- appetizers, two pasta dishes, and a second dish, with dessert, and coffee. The food is with big portions, the service is authentic and caring, and the atmosphere is veramente italiano. Unfortunately I'm a vegetarian so I couldn't try all the authentic dishes but this place is a must visit if you are in town. Fortunately, even if you are vegetarian, they are very accommodating and made the entire tasting menu fully vegetarian for me. What a special place! We enjoyed every second of it. The food, the ambiance, the warm authentic service - a real gem. It’s so lucky this place hasn’t been rammed with tourists because it was full of locals who clearly want to keep coming back. The food was everything I wanted. The bagna cauda had so much depth, the variation on vitello tonnato was a winner, and omg the tajarin al ragu was pure happiness. It’s also incredibly well priced. We had about 5 small tasting appetizers, a pasta to share, an osso bucco to share, 2 desserts, wine and coffee — 47 euros total 🤯

Very local restaurant. The food here is extremely tasty. They offer five appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, desserts, coffee and unlimited wine as a menu with the cost around 25 euro. This is one of the best offers in Turin. The stuff there are very personalized. I like them. If anyone wants to try local taste of Turin and enjoy wonderful dining atmosphere, Piola Da Celso is the best place.

🍝 Siamo stati alla Piola dal Celso con aspettative piuttosto alte, ma purtroppo siamo usciti delusi. L’attesa è stata lunghissima, e il personale — per quanto gentile — è risultato un po’ troppo insistente. La gestione delle comande lascia molto a desiderare: non si segnano nulla, e infatti tra piatti dimenticati, errori e cambi all’ultimo, la confusione regna sovrana. I prezzi, poi, non sono proprio da “piola”: decisamente alti per quello che viene offerto, soprattutto considerando che si tratta di cucina casalinga nella norma, senza particolari guizzi. In sintesi: locale carino ma servizio disorganizzato e rapporto qualità-prezzo da rivedere

La cucina è buona ma, rispetto allo spazio a disposizione, nella sala si sta troppo stretti e c'è parecchio rumore. Meglio scegliere il menù degustazione che viene proposto perché altrimenti vanno in confusione.

I visited this spot this month to experience the local cuisine. This restaurant, at first glance, seems to fit that description. The food itself is decent and honest in its flavors. However, what unfolded beyond the meal was far from the spirit of hospitality. The woman who appears to run the establishment displayed a lack of respect and an openly discriminatory attitude. Because of my Indian background, I was subjected to remarks that were not only offensive but demeaning — including an absurd suggestion that I “should return to my country to save it.” Even my Italian friends, locals from another region, found themselves targeted by her comments. What makes the entire episode more disturbing is its calculation: these words were delivered only after we had almost finished eating — ensuring the bill. As someone who lives here, I find it deeply disappointing to see such behavior in a place meant to reflect the warmth and generosity of the local culinary heritage. Good food can only go so far when served with prejudice. For those who value dignity as much as taste, this is not a place I could ever recommend.
