Excellent hospitality and professionalism. The menu offers a wide selection of first and second courses. I personally had a really good pizza. Fragrant and light dough, tasty ingredients! Excellent desserts prepared personally by the owner. I'd definitely go again and highly recommend this lovely place.
We ate in the excellent outdoor space, which was quiet as it was set back from the main road. We've eaten pizza here several times before; it was absolutely digestible and light, with good quality ingredients. We also saw some tempting mussels and fish platters pass by. Prices were reasonable, definitely not expensive.
We visited a few days ago and instantly fell in love with the pizza. Today, my husband and I came back to pick up two pizzas for takeaway, and the staff was just as warm and welcoming. On our first visit, we tried the tiramisu, honestly the best we’ve ever had, and this time, they surprised us with a small gift of tiramisu to take home. It truly made our day! We don’t speak much Italian, but we were so grateful for the kindness. The pizza is fantastic, and the tiramisu is on another level. Sadly, we’re leaving tomorrow, but we’ll definitely be back on our next trip. Thank you for everything!
This was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten in my life. My wife and I went to Carpe Diem, and I was immediately impressed by the atmosphere of the restaurant—it’s warm and welcoming. The prices were surprisingly affordable, but when we received our order, I was truly blown away. The pizza sauce was so fresh and delicious that I can hardly find the words to describe it. My wife ordered gnocchi and a vegetarian pizza, and both were excellent as well. To finish, we had two tiramisu, which was absolutely fabulous. The entire meal cost only €42, which felt like an incredible value considering the quality of the food and service. The staff were very polite and friendly. We were able to place our orders in English, and they even have an English menu available. Thank you so much for everything—we had a wonderful dinner. I highly recommend this place, even if you don’t live nearby. You should definitely visit!

Ideal for everyone: families, couples, and groups of friends. The pizza is light, thin, and incredibly tasty, prepared by pizza chef Domenico, who at the end of the evening takes the time to go around the tables and kindly ask how you liked it: a thoughtfulness that makes all the difference. One of the best pizzerias we've ever been to. It's a family-run business, with friendly, warm service and a homey atmosphere that makes you feel pampered from start to finish. The staff is all superb, but the star of the place is undoubtedly Domenico, a real gem and the best pizza chef I've ever seen, and I'm not exaggerating. We'll be back a thousand times. Highly recommended!
My family and I went to this trattoria, recommended by the Valchisone B&B. What can I say? The dishes were delicious. We ordered two appetizers, two tagliolini with wild boar ragù, a grilled fillet steak that was so tender it melted in your mouth, and a Margherita pizza for the little girl. Go there 😋
We had the pleasure of dining here and celebrating my parents' wedding anniversary. The menu offers a wide selection of fresh seafood dishes and delicious pizzas cooked to perfection, all prepared with top-quality ingredients. Another highlight of the restaurant is undoubtedly the outdoor terrace. Welcoming and well-maintained, it's the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing meal, especially on summer evenings. The atmosphere is made even more pleasant by the kind and professional staff, always available and smiling.
Trattoria-pizzeria in the town center, excellent location with plenty of parking. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff is friendly. The extensive menu offers meat, fish, and very comprehensive pizzas. We opted for the pizza. A good dough and toppings, cooked to perfection. The fish dishes are also very popular. Definitely worth a try.
All the dishes were delicious, except for the second course, which I don't remember what it was called, meat with eggplant. The sauce was a bit too salty. We'll definitely be back.
I had the starred pizza and it was superb, fresh, tasty, and easy to digest. I continued with the tuna in pistachio sauce, recommended as the dish of the day, exceptional. You can never go wrong with Carpe Diem.

The pizza is cooked well, perfectly crispy, and flavorful! The savory chiacchiere are delicious! The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is good. I would change the interior lighting; it's a bit too cold for my taste.

On the recommendation of relatives, I went to dinner at Carpe Diem in Villar Perosa. It's a trattoria/pizzeria known locally for both its excellent pizza and its traditional meat and seafood cuisine. In addition to the à la carte menu, the daily specials are also highly recommended; I admit there are many options, including many dishes you'd be happy to try, so I also applaud the menu's selection. I had linguine with clams. I must say it was good and quite tasty. Personally, I would have preferred the clams to be added at the end of the dish. They were almost all empty—that is, the clams in the pasta without their shells, and the shells were mixed in with the linguine. That's fine, but it would have made the dish even more beautiful. My parents ate pizza, and they said it was good. They've been coming here often lately, and now I understand why. As for dessert, the Caprese cake, my mom said it tasted good. I would have added a few details to the plate; the way it's plated could be improved. But it's a trattoria, so there's no need to get bogged down in the details. I drank Coke and water. It's a great thing to use plastic-free water dispensing systems. It reduces costs and is also good for the environment. The staff is friendly, helpful, and doesn't rush work. They're well-trained and organized for the service they provide. There's a lot of takeout pizza; I even noticed people waiting ages for their pizzas without warning. A sign that eating their pizza is a must. Next time, I'll do the same. Two pieces of advice: first, consider going digital, i.e., introducing QR codes to view menus and a digital ordering system. Using notepads and post-its is history. Invest in technology and reduce wasted paper and pens, and two, install a system at the entrance to the restaurant that prevents cold air from entering every time the door is opened. I had to wear a sweater the whole time. Anyway, I'll gladly return.
Good pizza, also available for takeout. Tried this place several times, practically on the road that runs through town. Precise and punctual service, which can be noticeably slow during peak weekends. The whole-wheat pizza is recommended.
The pizza is good and well-topped, and the prices are reasonable. The slow and inattentive service and the location need to be reconsidered. The indoor dining area is very noisy. The summer months, with their large outdoor seating, are definitely better.
I can't say enough about my experience at Carpe Diem. We called to reserve a table for four adults and a child under two, asking for a high chair, and they assured us they'd provide one. Well, when we arrived, there were no high chairs available, and the only solution was to provide us with a couple of booster cushions (for a 22-month-old!) Let's not even talk about the service: terrible is an understatement. We waited forever to order and just as long to eat. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened: on the last three occasions we've been to Carpe Diem, we've always had to wait excessively long for service. The only redeeming feature is the food: the pizza and pasta dishes were excellent. However, with such poor service, I don't think I'll ever return.
