I cant say enough about this cafe . Ill just keep it short and sweet. Great food, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, good prices. My only complaint is sometimes I cant get a table cause they are packed out. Love em.

They bake their own bread so it's always soft. I enjoyed an Ortega Chile on my cheeseburger. It was filling and came with seasoned fries.

Had a fantastic patty melt and the rest of my family had great burgers.. our waitress was wonderful, friendly and very helpful...made sure that we were well taken care of... Had a great time...

The side salad was a very good size and the lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes were very crisp but still a little wet from being rinsed. I liked the ranch dressing. I haven't had breakfast here for a long time so next time I will definitely be ordering pancakes 🥞

If you get a chance to go here do it, they're burger buns are always fresh made in the house and the food is wonderful. It's always cooked orders so it takes a little bit, but it's worth it.

The food is always piping hot and fresh. I love the fresh buns. I love the old style 50s feel. Great kids menu. My grandson loved the spaghetti. The staff is always friendly and attentive.

This was a new restaurant for me, but it's one of my daughter's favorite places. The mushroom burger was terrific as were the onion rings. Service was fast and the service was excellent. We'll be back! 😊👍

I like the quik service. Food is usually served to me in under 10 minutes from placing order. What I dont like is the prices. For me to eat alone the bill is usually $12-$16. That is the price for only the food . I always drink water, but I do feel that is a high price to pay for just breakfast.

This place has good food however I tried going in the evening because I was craving breakfast and they told me they were only serving dinner. This was a surprise to me considering they are a diner and should be serving breakfast all day. The waitress said they usually do but the cook decided to only serve dinner this particular evening. Very disappointed so I left and went to black bear diner where they were happy to serve me some breakfast for dinner.

First time here. The cheese sticks were delicious. Cafe vibe. Views from the windows were pretty cool but could use a deep cleaning.

Food good but not all waitresses as friendly as should be, n stop serving coffee about noon when they consider breakfast to be over. Just found out 2day up to the waitresses if they choose to make more coffee. That's ridiculous!!

New employees and a new manager? Not sure. But they lost their 2 best waitresses. Raquel was half the reason to come here. It takes 4 girls to do just the job of Raquel. I know it will take time for the new employees to get with it but they messed up our order a couple times today which we are not used to. We are totally u derstnading of the mistakes. It's just a bummer.

Craving bacon and saw this place. Won't be back for bacon. The brand they use has poor flavor and very fatty. Could only eat part of it. Noisy place, kind of echoes sounds. Cute 50s style dinner and service comes with a smile. Because they are cooking in an open area behind the counter, even all the kitchen noise comes across loud.

Honestly, I have better memories of this place from when I was a kid. We just moved back to town and were excited to come back, but it didn’t live up to what we remembered. Prices are really high for the portion sizes. A basic hamburger is $16, and the meat was overcooked. The fries were fine, nothing special. The breakfast pancakes were clearly made from a cheap box mix and were oddly chewy. Service was practically nonexistent. No drink refills, no check-ins, no real engagement. I’m giving 3 stars purely for the nostalgia of what Chubby’s used to be. Based on this visit alone, it’s closer to a 2-star experience.

Service was good hamburgers where good the pastami melt a different story The pickles weighed more than the pastrami did and the paper that the bill was on was larger and about the same thickness.a adult burger and fries a kids burger and fries pastrami melt 1 milk 1 coffee and 1 soda 54.00 dollars for lunch the server and offers to take the pastami off but I did eat what little was there so I paid for it but never again

We had called and asked what time they closed. We were told 2:30pm, and we immediately headed over there. As we opened the front door the employee prevented us from entering and told us they were closing early. I said, "But I just called 15 minutes ago," to which the employee replied, "Our GM called and told us to close early." We were disappointed as we wasted time and gas and had to find another diner that was open.

Great service, decent food. Reason I gave it only 2 stars is because the drinks are $4-5, so we had water, but mostly because they do not serve butter. Even though I asked for it, it was margerine. That is a deal breaker for me .

The food was acceptable but the service was terrible!! Literally waited for about 10 minutes and no one greeted me. This was my first time coming here and had high hopes, but was let down by the service. Hopefully they turn it around

Have eaten here many times. Loved it. BUT the wife took our granddaughter there the other day for lunch. All was good. She left a cash $5 tip. Payed the bill $35 with her debit card, put a line thru the tip area. The next day I checked our checking account, it showed $35. Two days later it changed to $41. Six bucks isn't much, but how many times a day is this happening? My bank is looking into it.

Went here today with my daughter. Despite finding a hair in my food the second the server set it down, we still ate here. I won't be returning. For the price $10 for a hamburger, it wasn't that good. I misunderstood that the salad was an extra 3$ and I would have thought maybe they could have comped that. But over all, I won't be going back or recommending it. ☹

I would rate this zero if I could. The burger was the worst burger I've ever had. I'd rather have food from the school cafeteria. First of all the bun didn't even rise all the way it looked as it a car had run over the buns, and on top of that the bun didn't have any good taste to it. Like just add some salt. The burger also didn't have any taste and the cheese was shriveled up and also didn't have any flavor probably due to the bacon. That bacon was the worst I've ever had in my life. Usually on a bacon cheeseburger you want your bacon to be crispy or at least somewhat crispy but it was just the opposite. It was so chewy that some of the bacon tasted raw as if the bacon wasn't even cooked and the stench was rancid. It was so horrible that I had to run to the bathroom and spit it all out and I felt as it I was going to puke. Even starving kids in Africa would reject this food. As the talented Anthony Bourdain explains to us, "Bad food is made without pride, by cooks who have no pride, and no love. Bad food is made by chefs who are indifferent, or who are trying to be everything to everybody, who are trying to please everyone. Bad food is fake food, food that shows fear and lack of confidence in people's ability to discern or to make decisions about their lives."

I just went into chubbys and waited 10 minutes before leaving. No one even spoke to us. We saw someone in a apron in the back and he saw us but no greeting no acknowledgement nothing. I really wanted good food but had to go to taco bell instead. Really disappointing service.

The problem happened at Chubby's on Gettysburg and First on December 22, 2023, in Fresno, Ca. I was not feeling well that day, so my husband went to Chubby's to get me some noodle soup. Later in the evening, I decided to eat the soup my husband purchased at Chubbie's. I warmed the soup and took a spoonful of the soup. Then when I put my spoon back into the soup, I felt something solid and lifted it with my spoon and turned out to be a large piece of light bulb. The next day in the morning I showed my husband. He took a picture and went to talk to the owner Willie. All he said that he was sorry and that if I wanted to order another soup. If I had eaten a piece of the glass; my throat would be cut so badly and would have ended at the hospital.

Came in at 8:50am, stood at the front waiting to ask what the wait time was but no acknowledged us so we sat at the bar. 20 min later - No waitress has even acknowledged us so we left & went to Good Times Cafe. It was also full. The waitress here said she'd be with us as soon as possible & let us know how many tables were ahead of us..WAY better experience. I understand places get busy but customers should at least be acknowledged.
