Siamo stati in questo meraviglioso ristorante, tutto era incredibilmente gustoso, un menù ampio e di ottima qualità, il servizio era eccellente! E un ambiente molto carino con un'enorme dipinto di Firenze che puoi goderti durante un pranzo o una cena in questo ristorante💫 Ci è piaciuto davvero, lo consiglio tanto!

Piccola osteria (consiglio la prenotazione) con tavoli anche all'esterno, a pochi passi da piazza del Duomo. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Primi ben conditi e porzioni abbondanti, tanto che abbiamo diviso il tutto. Ottime le pappardelle al ragù bianco di cinta. Abbiamo ordinato fiorentina, peposo e filetto lardellato: tutto davvero ottimo. Prezzi assolutamente in linea con quanto mangiato, considerando anche la zona.

Tartare buonissima, fiori di zucca, vino, acqua, caffè e limoncello offerto: servizio con sorriso, tutto di qualità. Consigliato!

First night in Florence and we were just looking for a place closest to our apartment. This restaurant looked pleasing as we walked by so we decided to give it a go. We ordered two pasta dishes, two meat dishes, two sides and two desserts. Both meats were good, the 1kg t-bone was cooked to the temperature we desired and the meat was a bit firm but not chewy. However, it was slightly under seasoned. We also ordered the Ossobuco and it was fell out the bone tender in a strong tomato sauce. The tortellini was severely overcooked and the bechamel in the lasagne oozed out and sat on the side. Tiramisu was by far the best I have in Italy. The panna cotta was white in color and it was firm but still bounced, good as well. We told the server we were sharing the dishes and she had the kitchen divided the meats for us.

Everything was great. Food was truly tasteful, dishes well though, with good balance and great combinations. I had the Pici di cavolo nero and my husband had a meat dish that according to him was deep and delicate. After having ended up in some tourist traps in Florence we are finally satisfied with a truly pleasant eating experience based on food and not chit chat.

This was hands down the best meal we’ve had in Italy. The service was excellent, and it was so comfortable. We started with the beef carpaccio, with truffle, I was in love. Definitely seemed like an uncommon order so if you see it, do yourself the favor. Next we did ribolitta, a dish anyone visiting Florence should try. Theirs was top notch, and so dense. My favorite though without a doubt was the truffle taglietelle (can you tell we like truffle??) oh my god, the BEST pasta I’ve had ever. EVER. And I’m a New York Italian! They did it with white truffle vs the black from the first dish, and it’s just simplicity at its finest. An incredible dish done *perfectly*. The grand finale was the tiramisu. If you take one thing from this, GET THE TIRAMISU!!! I thought the one I made at home was good….. I am embarrassed now. WOW. They use a thick, delicious custard and the coffee flavor is perfectly enough. I will be dreaming of this meal for the rest of my life. Hopefully, we hit the lotto so I can get a villa near by :) for all the truffle-haters, we heard great things from nearby tables about their steak and other dishes. The pasta is fresh and delicious. The servers were top notch, so funny and were patient as I tried to remember my high school Italian classes (they speak English and French, too!). Do yourself a favor, go here, because if you’re reading this, I’m back home and I can’t. But please don’t be like the embarrassing Americans asking for Olive Garden-style dishes with “red sauce” or “four cheeses,” like we heard to tables ask for 🙃 Italy is better than that! And you deserve better, found at Osteria Giglio D’oro!!!! Expand your tastebuds

We had a stop at this amazing place. The staff was very pleasant, fun and helpful. They gave us good recommandations for local dishes and the food was incredible. We had wild boar pasta, and truffle pizza. And as dessert we had tiramisu and cantucci e vinsanto both homemade. The atmosphere inside is marvelous with impressive paintings on the walls and authentic walls from old times. I highly recommend. Edit: I posted the same photos as my husband - we both enjoyed the lunch so much and the staff was great that each of us left a review.

This place is fantastic! The food was perfect, my favourite was the Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (except of course for the Bistecca alla Fiorentina). The wine (Ruffino - Chianti Superiore) was a perfect choice. The service was impeccable. She was engaging, quick to recommend dishes / wine, and always available if we had a comment / question. It’s a short walk from the cathedral, and the prices are very decent. Will have to visit Florence again, for another meal. 👏🏻 👏🏻

I stumbled upon this restaurant my first hour in Florence. My friend and I basically ordered the whole menu and it was quite literally the best meal I have had not only in Italy but in my LIFE. The truffle filet was the best thing my taste buds have ever experienced, MUST ORDER. The pici con ricotta was the best pasta dish I have ever had. Not to mention the staff is absolutely amazing, services, vibes, ambience all spectacular! We love fit so much we returned just 2 nights later and brought some friends we met that day! Camminando per le strade di Firenze in cerca di un posto dove mangiare, siamo capitati in questo, certo in questa città l’offerta non manca, ma mi ha convinto a entrare la cortesia del proprietario che ci invitava a entrare. Era un po’ presto per la cena, ma lui ci ha assicurato che la cucina era pronta. Così è stato, una buona e gustosa cena con la gentilezza e cortesia del personale. Consiglio le bruschette servite come antipasto, sono veramente gustose!

Ottima qualità della carne e del vino in primis, servizio gentile e accogliente. Da provare è collegato benissimo alla cattedrale, mentre mi incamminavo ho solo visto la presenza di carne fresca. Ottimo 🫠👌❤️
