Was able to get a table for 9 last minute. Very accommodating staff and food was great although we only could order off the brunch menu. Came with family nice fall day

Unique way to do the Nachos. Loved and enjoyed food and sitting outside. Wished they put more noodles in the salad.

Loved the menu and food options. We had the chicken tenders, Caesar salad and some fries. Food came out quick. Service was great too. The atmosphere was so nice and clean. Location was great after our day of shopping on M street.

We chose Billy Hicks to celebrate our engagement, and it was truly a night to remember! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles, setting the tone for the evening. The exceptional service started with our server, Jay, who was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel special and celebrated. Jay, along with other staff members, went above and beyond to congratulate us and ensure we felt like the most important guests in the restaurant. The culinary experience was just as exceptional! We indulged in the Bang Bang Shrimp, steak, and salmon, all of which were presented beautifully and tasted divine. The creativity extended to our drinks as well, with "The Exorcist" and "La Madrina" mezcal cocktails adding a unique flair to our celebration. We are forever grateful to the wonderful team at Billy Hicks for creating such a memorable and enchanting evening for us. The combination of outstanding service and amazing food deserves nothing less than five stars! We can't wait to return and relive the magic. Highly recommended!

My mom and I visited and immediately loved the warm atmosphere. Our server, Emily, was fantastic! We ordered two sandwiches—the blackened chicken and the turkey club—both of which were delicious. The sides, honey-glazed carrots (a unique and tasty choice) and some of the best fries we’ve had, really rounded out the meal. To top it off, we were gifted some free shirts and tried the chocolate cake, which was exceptional! I was having such a terrible day before coming in to this place and I left with a full stomach and a relieving feeling, I’d say coming here made my day! 10/10 would come back for another visit!

I really like this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the ambience was great. The service wasn’t the best we had to wait a long time for the server to take our order but I understand the restaurant was full that day. Still, I’d definitely come back!

Serving upscale American fair billy hicks stands out for it's great quality of service and food while having very large portions. Word of advice I ordered a salad expecting a side but a collection of food the size of my head came out. Expect every dish on the menu to be delicious and the size a main dish in other restaurants.

Amazing place! The staff are great and the food is absolutely delicious! Our server Kaya was extremely helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend the stake frites, it was cook to perfection. The carrots on the side were the perfect touch. We ended our meal with the house special espresso whiskey - I will be coming back for it! Definitely on of the best places in Georgetown

Great new place in Georgetown! Excellent food and a fun vibe. The Lollichops (lamb chops) we delicious, the steak was cooked perfect and the salads are huge. Will definitely be back soon!

Had a great time at Billy Hicks Georgetown. The food was amazing, the Steak melted in your mouth. The Salmon was cooked to perfection. The Chicken Nachos and the Bang Bang Shrimp are the appetizer to order.

Stopped by today for their friends and family and everything was amazing. My server, Marco was incredibly attentive without being overbearing! The bussers were swift and all of the staff looked excited and you could feel the energy in the air. I had some nice chats with some of the team members and everyone was so friendly ! I’m so glad I patroned this establishment and I will be back again! 😃

We just returned from a fantastic evening at Billie Hicks!! The restaurant is cozy, food is delicious yet really reasonably priced, and the staff is so friendly and warm! Shout out to our server Aisha, who is full of smiles and the delightful owner even stopped by our table to introduce himself and make certain everything was perfect. We had a huge, delicious pretzel appetizer to start and everyone enjoyed their meals and cocktails. I can’t recommend this place enough! Georgetown just got a big win with this newcomer!!

I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch yesterday at Billy Hicks, and I have to say—it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere set the tone: warm, elegant, and inviting. The dining room was exquisite, with tasteful decor and just the right balance of comfort and sophistication. I ordered the 3 Outstanding Eggs and Pancakes, and the name truly lived up to the dish. The eggs were perfectly cooked, fluffy, and flavorful, and the pancakes? Light, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Paired with a well-crafted cocktail, it was a delightful start to the day. A special shoutout to my server, Adonay, who was amazing and highly professional throughout the entire meal. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, Adonay made the experience even more enjoyable with excellent service and a welcoming demeanor. And don’t forget to grab your self matchboxes and key holders!

This was my first time at Billy Hicks and it was SO GREAT!!!! My food was amazing, the staff was great, the atmosphere was so fun!! I had the chili lime chicken tacos with a side of green beans which were 5 stars! I’m excited to try the salmon next time!

Second time going and would definitely recommend!! Tried their happy hour the first time and was blown away at how reasonably priced everything was. Went back for dinner and was very pleased with the full menu items (highly recommend the burger, bang bang shrimp and fried mozzarella. For drinks you can’t go wrong with any of the crushes they serve up. Don’t forget to grab some matches on the way out!

Tucked away but still close to everything the ☕ was really good with great service. Menu is well thought out and taste amazing.

BILLY HICKS IS AMAZING. Awesome servers, great atmosphere. Amazing coffee, fast service, and lord was the study buddy amazing, it’s their version of the espresso shot. Absolutely love Derek, he keeps us coming back. Super warm and caring. Kiya is a sweet heart. The two host had such bubble personalities Absolutely a Stan of this place. If you’re ever in Georgetown, this is the place to go. Make sure you don’t leave without a free matchbox and something from their merch area

Man oh man, this was my first time eating here and I can the food was amazing!! The staff were so nice to my family and I. The manager Derrick was sweet and made sure my family were great! Definitely a 10/10! The bang bang shrimp, the garlic parmesan wings were bussin bussin, and the Lollichops were my favorite!! I would definitely come back again with friends because this place was so good!

I'm absolutely in love with this place! Had an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was top-notch, the ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the food... every bite was a flavor explosion! Highly recommend trying this place you won’t regret it. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. Five stars and a huge thumbs up from me!

Love everything about this place. The atmosphere is fun and the decor is perfect, especially all the yearbook photos and 80's and 90's references. Great cocktails and enjoyed all of the food I had, especially the giant pretzel app, nachos and burger. Will definitely be going back soon.

Had a wonderful time at Billy Hicks. The titular “Billy Burger” was fantastic, my compliments to William Hick. The fried green tomatoes also did not disappoint. Many places serve them very soggy, but I did not have the same issue at this establishment. The prices were very reasonable, especially for Georgetown. Good ambience and service. Our server, Roba, was very accommodating and was willing to answer questions (of which I can have a lot) about the food. Overall we found her attentive and welcoming. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality food at unpretentious prices.

The atmosphere and service were great. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly. On my way out I grabbed a coffee for the road. Just what I needed on a cold day!

Today was my friends birthday so we threw her a surprise party at this place. At first I was hesitant because I had never been there, but from the beginning costumer service was great very nice to the entire table making sure we were taken care of. I every time I would finish a drink the waiter would come to the table and ask if we were ok or needed anything. Great atmosphere will definitely go again

Last night (Halloween night), my friends and I went there and had a great experience! The tall gentleman at the front desk (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name) was extremely helpful and welcoming. He explained which dishes were the most popular while we waited for our seats. The food was also amazing everything we tried was delicious!

Great food, service and ambiance! Their complimentary bread is the best!! The vibes are on point and the staff is great!! I clumsily dropped my utensils and a waiter scooped it up like it never dropped! Definitely would recommend this gem for all occasions!

Cute spot for lunch with a great menu—so many good options it was hard to choose. The salads especially looked popular and delicious! But we were hangry. Sliders- came a little well done. Blackened Chicken sandwich- my husband was happy with his choice BLT- I should have said easy on the mayo or mayo on the side. But it was ok. It comes with fries, they were nice and crispy. They have nice menu options so we would definitely return. Service is friendly but seemed a bit overwhelmed too.

In the busy street of Georgetown , this is a really cool find , it was completely packed when we went there . After 5-10 mins we managed to find some space near the bar . It is a cute place , their burgers were good . Service was so attentive . The staff was all smiley and accommodating. If ur shopping in Georgetown and want a good drink for a break .Try it .Can improve more.

Second visit: Here for a very fair happy hour. Though only five beers on draft, they were across the spectrum, IPA, Sour, Pilsner, Dark. The food looked great, but had eaten earlier. In my eyes this is an upscale diner. Some of the portion sizes are huge. Everything came out very well. The burger is the ideal mixture of meat, but on this day came out a bit overdone. I heard the tacos were excellent, but the salad overdressed. Those are minor fixes for the person ordering. The service was solid. I'd come back again for the hamburger - looking for something less overcooked.

We came here for a late night dinner after a show at Blues Alley and they were very accommodating, food quality was very good!

The food was good but we had to wait awhile for parts of our order. The blue lagoon lemonade was great.

The food was delicious, and the drink I had gotten!! The only issue was I was seated far away from everyone and both servers had quite literally forgotten I was even there, hurt my feelings because it was not busy...everyone was already served/or was getting service except me.

A disappointing second visit... The first time I dined at Billy Hicks I got the shrimp noodle salad which was soggy and quite mediocre. However, the atmosphere and service made up for it and I decided to give it a second try. This time I ordered the chicken avocado sandwich with veggies. Though, they brought out a small sandwich (noticeably smaller than two others at my table who ordered the same thing) and fries. The sandwich tasted good and the fries were just a tad below average. I was enjoying the atmosphere and otherwise having a good time. We waited almost 20 minutes after we finished to pay, and when the server came over she brought the machine to pay without bringing the check. I asked to see the check beforehand and she said we could get it after paying. When I saw the check they had included the extra charge for veggies on the bill... Overall, the atmosphere is great and the food is ok, albeit small, though the service was subpar and I do not plan to return. Billy Hicks has the potential to become a great Georgetown restaurant with some significant cultural changes, but those have not yet been implemented.

I made a reservation hours in advance for a patio table to celebrate a birthday, but when we arrived, the table had already been given to someone else. We decided to stay and ordered food, but when we asked about the birthday cake we had requested when making the reservation, our server said she hadn’t been told anything about it and started apologizing. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing — poor communication and horrible service for what was supposed to be a special occasion.

An actively bad experience. Do not waste your time or money here. Salad was super overdressed and had 4 croutons in it... French dip was almost inedibly sour, fries were bad too. Only the fried mozzarella was decent. Drinks took 30 minutes and were (shockingly) bad. Watery and flavorless. The server was kind but was so clearly super stressed and angry at the bartenders, which was understandable. Not only was the food bad, the ambiance was also really off putting. Exclusively TikTok music was playing, and two times throughout the meal a thick heavy smell of smoke filled the room. We also really wanted to try the chocolate cake, but they said they were out (it was only 8pm). Such a bad experience overall, and a shame because I was really looking forward to this opening. Do not go here.

I went to dinner tonight with my friend who was visiting me. I am extremely disappointed in several factors of tonight. The service was not great at all. We asked for a table for two and were told it would be around a 30 minute wait. We told them we would wait and asked if they needed to take down our name or phone number. They told us no. There was a table outside on the patio area that only had one chair. Instead of taking a chair not being used by one of the other tables, the staff decided to just let the table sit empty. About 30 minutes pass and one of the girls asked if he needed help with anything and we told them we had been waiting for a table for two people and were told they didn’t need our names. During the time we waited, two other women came in without a reservation and the staff seated them prior to us. Then we were seated right next to the bar and kitchen. It was so hard to hear and I was constantly being bumped in the back by staff members going between the kitchen and bar area. Just such uncomfortable seating arrangements. When we finally got seated, we waited a while without water or anyone coming to check on us. Then there was a disagreement among the staff of who would wait on our table. He ended up having the bartender wait on us. The bartender was absolutely amazing. The food was okay. The fries were the best part of the meal. I just think it could have been way better and was disappointed in this as well. Overall, I’m very displeased in the overall experience as I was excited to try this place out with my friend who as in town for the weekend. Really just caused a lot of frustrations instead.

I went for lunch with a friend the first Saturday it was open. 1. Tables are too close, servers had to “operation” the tables. 2. We were told that only the stared entrees were unavailable, we ordered from a non-stared item - still unavailable 3. Most important, hair in my salad. I got the chop chop salad, it was very large so I took the leftovers. As I’m enjoying I see a long hair IN THE SALAD. My hair was in braids and is coarse, this hair was fine. I called and left a review via the receipt and no response so this is the result. They won’t last long is they can’t do basic food safety. Really would like a refund.

Wow — what an experience! I came in with high hopes, but apparently “service” and “hot food” aren’t on the menu here. The atmosphere is fine, and the location’s nice, but that’s where the charm ends. My food sat for ages (15 minutes at least) before it showed up cold. The second sandwich looked like it lost a fight with the microwave — limp, poorly presented, and barely warm. The bartender? Completely uninterested. No greeting, no drink refills, no effort whatsoever. Honestly, it felt like we were interrupting their shift just by showing up. If you’re looking for cold food, bad service, and a bartender who couldn’t care less, this is your spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else.
