This place is absolutely amazing. The food is bursting with flavors. The salsa has this magnificent smoky flavor! That was a real treat! My husband really love the Mexican Burger he is highly recommending it the smoky brisket quesadilla is also highly recommend that’s what I ate. I’m so sorry this go round I don’t take any pictures. Next time because we’re definitely gonna make another visit. Our server was awesome as well. She gave great service.!!
Manager was very kind and workers were attentive. The food was also very good, we’ll be back soon 🫶
Excellent fusion of Tex Mex with just the right dose of Nepal to elevate the flavors. And I have never enjoyed Spanish rice so much. Order the brisket birria with beef consomme. The house cab was solid. Truly happy in a day and age when it is TOUGH to find excellent flavor for a decent price. Will be back.
My family has been visiting Frescos for over 20 years. With the new ownership, not only are they listening to customer needs but they are making huge changes. They have big TVs for sports games. They have drink specials and add food as requested with late night specials. Give it a try. It’s worth it.
The brisket tacos and chicken flautas were amazing! High quality meat. Service was outstanding. Enjoyed the bite size sopapilla.
Everything about our visit deserves 5 stars. The staff were all amazing. The food was so good that after I ate, I put in a to-go order for later. 😋😬 I will be honest, this was the best food experience that I have had in a long time. My family can't wait to go back.
First off, our server, Utah U. was great. She was very professional and knows the assignment. First class service! The food was delicious. Five stars for sure.
Lunchtime treat after Tball! Ordered the Pina Colada with Malibu Coconut Rum. Came with shredded, toasted coconut on top. Mild in flavor. Was good, but still tasted like it was missing *something*. Would order again though. Ordered the #1 under the quesadilla options. Chipotle sauce was nice and creamy. Very generous with the filling! The crispiness of the tortilla was perfect! The onions off to the side were firm, but tender. Coated in a lime, garlic, cilantro sauce (I think those were the ingredients!). Restaurant was clean & relatively quiet. Wait staff had just the right amount of attentiveness. Will be back!!!
Food was good, we got it to go. Was not a fan of the black beans or rice tho.
Frescos is an excellent place to eat at. Jordan is one of the best bartenders we had.
Amazing carna asada and margaritas! I will be back often. The service and cleanliness was excellent.
We own Stoney Ridge Villa wedding venue and had the pleasure of working with Joseph & his team for a catering event at our venue! Amazing customer service to the guests, professionalism and awesome food! We hope to have them back out soon! Keep up the godd work and positive vibes Joseph! See you soon!
Food is delicious. Utah was our server. She was kind and attentive.
We Love this restaurant a lot!!! The service is the best, they make you feel at home and their margaritas are awesome! Management is amazing and the bartender Jordan is extremely helpful and provides the best service ever!!!
We love Fresco's Suzie is the best server She remembers our favorites and always has them ready The food and drinks are delicious! We highly recommend Frescos and ask for Suzie
Fresco’s is my go-to dinner spot!! The queso & margaritas are especially delicious! Faith was our server tonight and she did great!
Been coming to this place for years love the food lovely atmosphere service is always been great. Sit at the bar most of the time Jordan on the last visit was spectacular.
Best margarita-sangria swirl!!🍹 The food is delicious, very tasty. 😋 The place is nice and clean. I like the patio area. Our server super nice. And the guacamole delicious!!! Finally for dessert, we asked for flan(is not on the menu). But they have it. Delicious, verry creamy. Nice place.👍
We LOVE LOVE LOVE Frescos. The food is just fantastic! There fire grilled entries are amazing. The smokey salsa, homemade tortillas, table side guacamole, and oh my - the steak fajitas. You just can’t go wrong. Try the queso blanco, street corn, and make sure and save room for the sopapillas - you won’t be dissappinted
Thank you Utah! We live in the neighborhood and this was our first time here. The food was absolutely delicious and we will come back for the excellent service. 10/10 recommended the combo fajitas!
Randon was a phenomenal server. We started coming here in 2008, and we used to come weekly. It’s not the same, but it’s better than it has been in years. Love the chicken quesadillas. Would love a jalapeño ranch sauce.
Have eaten there several times now for the breakfast buffet. Have had Kaylina as server each time. Wish I could give a review for each time we have gone.
It was really good and quality good service too go out for dinner Utah was are server very professional. Kept are drinks filled and salsa
Where to start? Everything was excellent!!! Cocktails, tequila, salsa and food was excellent!!! First time we have ever had smoked salsa. So good and hot! I don’t do heat and it had me sweating but was good. I asked for something more mild and the waiter said I’ll bring what we serve the kids. lol My wife loves heat and had to tap out on the jalapeño pineapple and the habanero salsa. Quesadilla and Brisket Birrea tacos and street corn were excellent!! We highly recommend this place!
Went out here with my friends for the first time, last weekend and the food was so amazing. Our server suzie was really helpful towards us, she helped us thru menu and gave us a very nice service. And food was really really good.
Great service and atmosphere. Utah was attentive and courteous. Food was good but the rice was a little undercooked. Other than that I would definitely give it another try.
Fabulous service and the food is absolutely amazing and I definitely will be a continuous customer, randon was amazing at serving me and my wife, phenomenal job I recommend him from my experience
Great spot! The food was delicious, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. Our server, Utah, was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Celebrating 2 birthdays this evening with 40 people and this establishment was indeed the perfect spot! Frescos, please stand up and take a bow. The service was exceptional! The food was hot and delicious. Fast and accommodating! Completely satisfied and impressed with the decorum and ambience. Definitely recommend Frescos for all your celebrations and Tex-Mex adventures!
Love this place. The Brisket Birria Taco's are fire. The Queso Especial is to die for. AND their Tortilla Soup is amazing. We've been going here as a family for about 20 years.
I went there last week and I had very good time. The service was so good that I wanted to review. My server was suzie and she was so friendy and had positive vibes. She was so polite and respectful and I also loved the food there.
First time here and had absolutely the best service from Randon! Food was delicious and came out fast ! We will definitely be back.
Joe the gm great guy always attentive and helpful when it comes to anything. Great food and atmosphere. All around great place and Courtney behind the bar is hands down best bartender! 10/10 would definitely recommend
The food is super delicious! The food came quickly!! My server Utah, was so kind and friendly will definitely be coming back and I hope she is my server again!!!!!
They make guacamole right at your table, which is customized to your liking, and it is incredible! The steak tacos were amazing, and I was pleasantly surprised they allowed me to substitute a side salad for the refried beans. It is in one of my pictures, and it is no ordinary salad. Their Caesar dressing is incredible. Our server was outstanding, and when we complimented her, she said she loves her job!
This is now my new favorite place since Beacon Cafe has joined the team! I love the brunch buffet on the weekends! Great food along with excellent service! I highly recommend!
Great dog-friendly patio. Chicken sour cream enchiladas were excellent, Strawberry Margarita was a fantastic “creeper,” and the holiday pumpkin flan was a tasty surprise. Request Utah as your server for a joyful experience.
Happy that we decided to try this place. Great atmosphere and even better food. Our waitress Utah was amazing!! We will definitely be coming back. Also, marg pitchers @ only $27!
Visited here last night with my family. We had a fairly large group and my girlfriend and I were very impressed by our service, the manager Courtney was exceptional at making sure we got our table fairly quick and the appetizers and drinks were hardly a wait at all. The place was fairly busy considering there was a festival going on and our waitress Liv did a great job. I did not see any messy tables or hear any complaints during our visit. I’m not sure how long the manager has been there but I definitely recommend a raise as she had a smile the whole time and went above and beyond for the group. The food was very good and hot. I never try anything at Mexican restaurants besides chicken enchiladas or something close and this time I tried the brisket taquitos they were nice and crunchy and hot as in temp not spice. Definitely recommend those. Also the table guacamole and cheese dip which is the only picture I got because everything came out so fast. I will definitely be back when I’m back in Texas.
Great experience. Delicious chips and fire roasted salsa. Rice was a little dry, but everything else was absolutely tasty. Prices were reasonable. Sopapillas were fine but the menu said 6 pcs and I think they gave us 5. Also wish the honey was on the side to put into them. Overall good experience
Food was amazing! Our server was Utah and she was excellent & super friendly. Definitely recommend and go ask for Utah! 🙏
Great place to come for quick and friendly service. Enclosed patio is great for bringing the pups. 5 star service from our server, Utah. Seasonal items do appear on menu so check them out routinely.
Great service. Our host pri was very welcoming. The food and the atmosphere is great. Will be back again. I tried the gorditas.
We love Frescos we go most Fridays for margaritas which won’t disappoint. Service is very good and Utah is excellent and so welcoming she remembers what we want to order every time! Order the fiesta tacos they are tasty!
Amazing service, food, and atmosphere. Patio was beautiful. Our families new favorite restaurant. Cant wait to come back. Thanks for the experience.
We love Fresco’s! It’s one of our favorite spots and Utah is the sweetest. We look forward to seeing her every time we go! Thank you for great food and service!!
As an 18+ year regular customer I feel like I should shed some light on what has been going on at Fresco’s over the past few months. Frescos is now on his third ownership and it’s actually a good thing. The second ownership made a lot of drastic changes and alienated a lot of regulars and people were not happy with the new menu and food recipes. The new owners decided early to bring back most of the original menu items and food recipes. Also, Joe, the last GM under the original ownership is back as well and is helping bringing the restaurant back to what it was originally and even better. So if you were put off by the changes that were made by the previous ownership, please come back and give Fresco’s another try.
Fresco’s is absolutely amazing! The food is authentic, delicious, and full of flavor. The service is outstanding — the staff is attentive, kind, and always smiling. Everything is fresh, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. A perfect place for a great meal with great service. Highly recommend!🧚🏼♂️💗
Awesome service!! It was 1030 pm … we got the grande burrito which is actually enough to feed three people and we got guacamole which was excellent and I got the chicken tortilla soup. Fabulous.!!! of course it’s a bit too dark in the restaurant for my liking, but we just use our flashlights and everything was great.!!! Randon was the most excellent waiter !!! he made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and he checked on us multiple times I can’t say enough great things about our experience here -It was our 1st time here-we are from out of town!!! thank-you !!! By the way the patio is under construction but looks like it’s gonna be very nice!!
I love this place! Came once a couple months ago and can’t stop coming back. The food (ESPECIALLY THE GRILLED ITEMS) are so good and taste so fresh. Their grilled chicken is some of my favorite ever. Servers are very welcoming, and welcome you in like they’ve known you for years. Suzie especially stands out, she is very welcoming, she always takes that extra step for customers and you can tell she enjoys it. It’s a very easy decision to come back when the experience is like this. Excellent waitstaff, great food, and a very cozy atmosphere for a pretty affordable price! I will definitely continue to come back and make sure to recommend this place to friends and family.
I’ve been coming to Beacon Cafe for quite a while now, and even after their recent relocation and merge with Fresco’s, the experience has remained just as amazing as ever. The service never disappoints. Joanne is always attentive, friendly, and makes you feel genuinely welcomed every single visit. Lately, I’ve been sitting at the bar, and Randi has been just as great — super attentive and she knows how to make a mean margarita. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. And if you haven’t tried the new churro pancake yet, please do yourself a favor.
We dine at Fresco’s almost once a week. We love having Suzie as our server. She remembers our favorites and she is a wonderful server. We look forward to having her as our server! And, the food is great!
Ever since Beacon Café moved into Fresco’s, everything improved. The service is getting way better, thanks to Joanne. The drinks are spectacular, thanks to Randi. Keep it up!
We used to be regulars many years ago but fell off when the ownership changed. Seems like these newest owners are getting back to what made Fresco’s fabulous back in the day! We ordered the house queso, chicken ceasar fajita tacos, enchiladas (pick 3, as is), brisket tacos, and pechuga de pollo. All were reminiscent of OG Fresco’s and we were so so pleased. The Grand Margaritas got two thumbs up as well. Our server, Randon, was excellent! Perfectly attentive and friendly and kept our chips, salsa, and waters all full. He definitely made our return to Fresco’s even more memorable. We’ll be back!
I have not been to Fresco's in a very long time. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the hostess who took us to our table. Our server, Christian was very polite, had a good sense of humor & checked on us every 10 minutes or so which was very much appreciated. The food was way better than what I remembered. It was fire hot which is how I like my food so I knew it was fresh. We both ordered the pick 3, 1 chicken enchilada w/verde sauce, 1 beef enchilada w/meat sauce & 1 crispy chicken taco. The chicken was very tender & juicy. However, the only negative thing I have to say is about the new manager/owner. I saw him walking towards our table, then he was going to continue walking without acknowledging us. Only because I looked up again, he then made a u-turn back to our table. Then all he asked us was "how is everything?" & I said "good" so he immediately walked away. I believe since it is under 'new ownership/management', he should have @ least introduced himself.
The steak tacos were fantastic and the flavors really stood out. I was also thrilled that they let me switch the refried beans for a side salad. You can see it in one of my photos and it turned out to be far from an ordinary salad. The Caesar dressing was unbelievably good and I would go back just for that. Our server was exceptional and made the entire visit even better.
The BEACON has relocated to share space at Frescos. A recent lunch provided us with the opportunity to fuse the fabulous BEACON food with a Mexican fusion. The avocado jack burger was perfectly dressed and juicy. Patty perfection. Crispy French fries is the perfect accompaniment, hot and crispy and melt in your mouth delicious. The chimichanga was generously sized and covered with a well seasoned queso. We completed our fusion with an Asian inspired dumplings which were delicious. The melding of these two restaurants gives patrons more great choices plus the Beacon is open for breakfast along with its well loved weekend brunch. It's a great combination!
Now the Beacon has moved in for breakfast and early lunch this place is awsome. Mrs Cristy severs up some great breakfast. The pancakes are to die for. The do serve one of the best breakfast buffets in the weekend. Two of there wait staff Randy and Joann treat us like family. As soon as we go in they know what we want and it is always great. They now have cocktails as well. If you are lucky you might walk in when they are testing a new item and get a sample. This place is locally owned and you will not be disappointed. Best value in town.
It has been a bit since we visited Frescos. We decided to come on out on a Friday night. We were seated quickly and had the best server. Utah was amazing. I can’t say enough about Utah. She recommended what to eat and we lived it. We look forward to our next visit and hope we get Utah.
Had the best time at this Frescos Mexican restaurant — everything we ordered was delicious, from the fresh chips and salsa to the sizzling fajitas and flavorful tacos. But what really made the night was Jordan, the bartender. He was friendly, attentive, and made some of the best black pearl margaritas we've ever had! You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and makes everyone feel welcome. Great atmosphere, great food, and awesome drinks — can’t wait to go back!!
How on earth have I ever missed this gem? I rate mexican restaurants on their salsa.. this one is 10 out of 10 the best Mexican resturant. From the wait staff to the cooks to the owners are awesome. Definitely won't be the last time I go. And if you take my advice....ask for Susie to take care of you
Salsa Verde was amazing, had heat to it. Food was normal but much better than other places in the area. Service was fantastic. Utah was super attentive and drinks/food were out with good tempo. Highly recommend!
I haven't done many of these because I only do reviews when I'm greatly impressed or highly disappointed. I'm glad to say that I was impressed with the new owners customer service. Hes a talker but…

Stopped here on a maybe. The exterior has a lot to be desired and really needs a little TLC, however; inside is fresh and comfortable. Dining room is clean, all the tables clean and set up. The hostess was a very friendly and enthusiastic young lady that welcomed us. Upon being seated some pretty dan good service began. The server again enthusiastically welcomed us told a bit a the restaurant and gave us some recommendations and offered meats and salsas samples. Three samples of the meats beef brisket, pork and chicken. Your mouth will go Wow. Yep that good. Also brought samples of their salsas ranging from mild to “has a kick”. Service was prompt and we were well taken care of throughout dinner. Portions are abundant and it isn’t going break your bank. Try them out.
We had the fajitas for 2. The steak fajitas were good, the flour tortillas tasted under cooked. We had black beans with our order and they did not taste good. The rice was really good and charro beans were ok.
Did build your own - beef tacos not great - go with brisket. The cheese and chicken enchiladas were great.
Our server Randon was very nice and attentive and gave great suggestions. The chicken fajita enchiladas were amazing. The chimichanga with ground beef was excellent. Try the Black Pearl margarita with blackberry-it’s on Happy hour and was delish.
I was pleasantly surprised that my food was good. A few years ago I was a regular patron but started to have bad experiences with the food. I stopped eating there. Reluctantly I tried it this evening and the food was well prepared, ingredients were fresh and the food was packaged well. I checked before I left the restaurant. Thank you Fresco's for a good dinner this evening...a chicken quesadilla and chicken caesar salad.

Ordered the enchilada which were good. I don’t like how y’all give 2 small salsas and all these chips, should give one big then or less chips. Other than that it was delicious. The refried beans and Mexican rice was delicious.
Meh. It was ok but i hate to say this will be our first and last time dining here. The food was lacking something but I couldn't tell what. The queso was very overpriced for tasting like velveeta and rotel. There were just two of us and we each ordered a soda, enchilada plate, and shared queso. The bill came out to nearly $60. This was our first time there and had we known the quality and flavors were as they were we would have gone to a different restaurant. The service was great, we just would not recommend the food.
Good salsa, great house queso. My gf said her mojito was great. Got fajitas for two. Came with enough steak for 1 person and cost $46, which I don't recall seeing on the menu. Food was adequate but definitely not worth that price. The steak was tough, chewy, and was swimming in a soup of too finely sliced onions and peppers. Server was inattentive but helpful when we could flag her down.
Used to love eating here on a regular basis but moved and haven't been in the area for awhile. Went back last week and the whole experience was disappointing. Food and atmosphere not that great and service poor (however the server was very nice) despite only 3 tables in use. Won't be returning.
Tex Mex for dinner while in Texas, so why not try Fresco’s Cocina Mexican. Yes, the name is Mexican on it, but it was really Tex Mex. The fresh guac so banging! In words it was really good!! Staff was really welcoming! The food was oh ok, I order some fajitas and they were okay. They didn’t have that sizzle when they came out and the taste was okay. The drink was decent and had a good taste, but again it was okay. That’s why it gets a 3 star because it’s a restaurant I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to, when I come back to Tex.
This was a go to fav for a long time. We moved out of there area so it had been awhile, but wanted to celebrate a birthday there and made reservation for a large party. The food was still really good. They remodeled and love the patio seating with the live music set up. The service was no bueno. They were not busy at all on a Saturday night. We had the reservation, so they were aware of the large party. The waitress was horrible. Never came to check on drinks. Never got extra napkins. Took forever to get food and drinks. Maybe it was an off night but damn, is it was ridiculous. Not sure if we will back.
I was thrilled to get some Tex Mex long before I arrived and ended up at Fresco's to crush the craving. I went for the brisket enchiladas. They came with some thick yellow queso sauce which they were generous with but it wasn't spectacular. I didn't finish the food in one sitting so that might be a factor but overall the meal was okay, it didn't delight me. The portion was good though.
I’ll start off by saying our waitress was very kind. She payed attention to everything, and you can tell, she enjoys what she does. The atmosphere is very authentic to their culture, and it has a unique charm about it. The building is older, but very well kept. As far as the food, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the best either. It’s one of those restaurants where you have to try it for yourself, to see if you enjoy it or not. I will say, we would give it another try, so I do recommend you eat here. The price is affordable, and everything we were served was fresh, including the salsa and chips. I think it comes down to how you prefer your food to be ‘seasoned’. It wasn’t bad, but having our birria tacos seasoned with ‘unexpected’ barbecue, just wasn’t our thing… All in all, I do recommend this establishment as a place to try.
Welcoming ambience and seating area are nice and comfortable. Vegetarian options are available. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Went on a weekend night and there was no wait and got seated quickly. The salsa and sauces had a smoked aroma and flavor. Other non smoked flavor was available on request. Portion sizes are reasonable.

Just wasn’t a fan. Price was kinda high. Elote wasn’t very good. Chips or salsa wasn’t good. Enchiladas - I asked for a NM sauce but it was more like a mole. For sure won’t be back

Ordered take out. The fajitas are WAY too salty and they added cheese to my beans after I put no cheese. Rice was okay. Wouldn't get this place again.
On one hand, they have the **most delicious** steak fajitas, chicken fajitas (that's a miracle), rice, refried beans, charro beans, and house salsa. I got catering from here for a party of 25 and everything was so so SO good. And I used all the leftover beans and salsa (and sides of shredded cheese) to make with eggs for a week. And THAT was so delicious I started stopping in to get quarts of beans just for the purpose. On the other hand. The quarts of beans and rice are $15 each. Um. That's kind of ridiculous. I finally forced myself to break away from them because that's just too much. And on the other OTHER hand... after the catering thing, I was so enamored with the fajitas, I ordered the plates for dinner delivery a couple of times for me and my husband and... you guys. The menu says Fajiitas for 2 is 1 lb of fajitas. Wrong. The first time I got them I weighed out the meat and it came to 10-5/8 oz. I actually complained and the restaurant gave me a gift card as an apology. So I decided to order again. Omg. See photo. 9-1/8 ounces of meat for 2 people. Are you kidding me?? When I complained again, the manager tried to tell me that 1 lb was precooked weight. No. Even if that were true, beef yield across all cuts is 75-80%. It would be more than 9-1/8 ounces. But it shouldn't even be precooked weight. Everywhere else I order fajitas where they say "1 lb" I actually get 1 lb. So why Fresco's thinks it can get away with this utter nonsense - twice - and probably on a daily basis with other customers, is beyond me. I hate that Fresco's has such great food. Because I can't bring myself to go back and pay for two plates just to have enough meat for my husband and I to have a proper meal.
The steak was like a roast. It was weird. Should have read reviews before going. Won't return.
Disappontment! I ordered a Cesar salad with fajita steak meat. How can you go wrong with that? it was salty and drenched. I was disappointed and then my husband enchilada that were a step up taco b…

The place was busy and there was no wait time to be seated which was nice. The staff was nice. We asked for table side guac and the young gentleman was polite and cheerful. I ordered the nachos and that's where things fell into an abyss of sadness. The nachos consisted of a ring of tortilla chips topped with chicken fajitas and shredded cheese, the plate was microwaved for what I can only assume was two minutes short of an eternity, the chips were burned and the cheese became a nice glue that was holding everything together. In the center of this ring was a leaf, yes a leaf on a plate of nachos, on this leaf was a glob of sour cream and a bit of jalapenos. At first glance I was confused because the menu stated that the nachos had beans but I didn't see any, that is until I picked up a burnt chip and saw that the only thing preventing this ring of nuked, glue from sliding off the plate and committing food suicide was in fact the beans that were smeared on the plate and were used as a different flavored glue to hold the leaf and nacho ring prisoner. If you want nachos don't. Go for the table side guac and try your hand at something else from the menu. If you still truly want to try the nachos Godspeed. In the photo I moved the leaf to the top of the plate to show the sad beans, you can also see the cheese on the edges of the plate that resembles the aftermath of a nuclear meltdown. My boyfriend had the chicken enchiladas and they sucked too.
Absolutely awful Went there just to get appetizers and drinks Why does the salsa taste like barbecue sauce Why is the queso just straight melted velveeta Why is the ground beef on the nachos extremely over seasoned and dry. So so bad. Do not recommend to anybody
I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was a child, and it has always held a special place in my heart. Over the years, I’ve hosted countless family gatherings and work parties here, enjoying the warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and exceptional service. Sadly, under the new ownership and management, everything that made this place special has disappeared. The atmosphere feels cold and unwelcoming, and the service has deteriorated significantly. My recent visits have been incredibly disappointing—tables are often ignored, food orders are incorrect, and the new management’s attitude leaves much to be desired. On several occasions, I’ve had to flag down staff just to place an order, something that never happened before. To make matters worse, the entire staff has changed, including the beloved balloon animal guy who delighted patrons for years. He now works at Texas Roadhouse, and his absence is a stark reminder of how much this place has changed. As someone who has worked in the food and service industry, I understand the challenges involved, which is why I gave this place multiple chances. Unfortunately, after repeated poor experiences, I can no longer recommend this restaurant. It’s heartbreaking to see a place I used to love coming to fall so far. (Liv is a fantastic waitress and never disappoints.)
Not sure if this was the worst meal I have ever bought, certainly second at best. The Chile con carne was pure crap tasting. The fajitas was terrible tasting, beside being cut with the grain instead of across. Not sure how the chicken fajitas were since the server brought my wife beef fiesta tacos instead. She order us unsweetened ice tea and she got sweet instead, I got unsweetened at least. The sever came back and asked about tea refill and my wife asked for unsweetened, she just pored in on top of half of a glass of sweetened. Then brought a glass of ice. The tea was more water than tea..Absolutely an disaster of a 75.12 meal. The food tasted horrible all around. Your would expect Mexican food to lack this much taste. Some may say I am being over critical of this meal but this is the first time in my 69 years I have ever written a review, it was that bad.
I visited this location, and the staff did not seem interested in helping customers at all. I waited for a long time before anyone even acknowledged me, and when they finally did, their attitude was unprofessional and unhelpful. It felt like they just wanted to rush me out instead of answering my questions or resolving my issue. Businesses should treat their customers with respect and provide proper assistance — unfortunately, that did not happen here. I won’t be coming back and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place until they improve their customer service.
My family and I used to love going to Fresco's because the food, atmosphere and service were consistent and good. We found out today that is all in the past. The ownership has now changed hands, as noted by the banner on the building (October 2025) as well. When we walked in on a Sunday at lunchtime (normally buzzing with church goers for lunch) there were only 2 tables seated and the decor had changed to very "sterile" white and cheaply painted walls. Not at all inviting. My husband thought they might be getting ready to remodel. Ok, not a big deal. Our server was pleasant and fairly attentive which is always a good thing. Also, nothing really changed about the food offerings on the menu so we knew what we wanted to order. My tea was so sweet, I had to ask her if I could get unsweetened tea to mix in. I couldn't drink it that sweet (and I like Chicken E's sweet tea. Iykyk) We ordered the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce and beef fajita enchiladas. The food was like warm at best. The chicken was dry and the beef was tough. We were also starving so we did eat about half of the food out of necessity. The enchilada sauce on the fajita enchiladas was sugary and sweet. The sour cream sauce would have been good if if it had been hot. The rice was crunchy and undercooked, as well. There was no manager to be seen to try and discuss the experience. 2 sets of 1/2 eaten enchiladas later, we won't be back, sadly. We will really miss this place and the food we truly used to love, here.
My family has eaten this restaurant many times. It used to be a favorite of ours. Tonight definitely changed all that. Took forever to have someone come to the host stand. Mind you it was not busy during the entire experience there. Took even longer to get a server to come get drink orders. Ordered table side guacamole, avocado were not ripe and the person who made it; made it with a ton of salt and hardly anything else. My son sat more than once with an empty water cup. The server took forever to come back and take our food order. At that time my husband who had a completely empty water cup and ask him if he wanted more water… from the time we ordered to when our food came to our table it took 45 minutes. The server came by twice before this to inform us he was waiting on the burgers for my kids. Again I say it was not busy half of the tables were empty on a Friday night. When I got my enchiladas my rice was crunchy from sitting under the heat lamp for so long and my enchiladas tasted scorched. Never once did a manger come by to check on the quality of our food or service. I left the restaurant with a 80 dollar bill for 4 meals and a almost complete enchilada dinner missing 1 bite sitting on their table.
Disappointed with Our Experience at Fresco’s I normally don’t post reviews like this, but our recent visit to Frescos was so unpleasant I feel it needs to be shared. My friends and I were out enjoying drinks and appetizers on the patio when we started noticing a strong chemical smell. It turns out the manager and an employee were applying a topcoat of polyurethane to the new bar — while customers were sitting there trying to eat and enjoy themselves. The fumes were awful — our eyes were burning, we were coughing, and some of us started feeling sick from the poor ventilation. We asked to speak with the manager, who came over, apologized, and said he didn’t realize how bad the fumes were. To his credit, he did comp our bill, which we appreciated. But here’s the part that really shocked us: they continued painting while we were still sitting there trying to finish our drinks. The fumes were just as bad — if not worse. It made for a really miserable experience. I honestly can’t understand why they thought it was okay to do this kind of work while guests were present. This could have easily been scheduled before opening or after closing. As a manager, protecting your customers’ health and experience should come first. Sadly, we won’t be returning to Fresco’s anytime soon. I hope they take this as a serious learning moment — because this was unacceptable.
i'll start by saying that the waitress was very nice and very attentive. However, The prices are insanely high – they have definitely gone up recently. My son ordered a hamburger and I ordered a taco salad. We had a small bowl of queso. Our bill with tax and tip was $55. That's crazy for lunch! I ordered the taco salad – it said it was a beef taco salad, yet I was charged extra for the beef that I thought was included. The food was mediocre at best. I'm not surprised that it was empty in there today. There are several other options in the area with better food and much lower prices. We probably won't be back.
Been here three times in last two weeks. Read menu carefully . Because it states cup of queso 5 something . But bowl of queso is 7 something . Realize tonight they charge you 12 something for bowl because they say it’s the cup plus the bowl? How does this make any sense . Waiter explained but still seems like you being cheated . Asked for manager who stated oh no it’s a better deal even asked for a bowl to measure . Told him your cheating people , and he goes oh well if that how you feel and pretty much blew me off . I won’t be back . So watch your bill seems a little sketchy to me .
