Our group of 22 runners from F3 Alliance showed up at Waffle House #2388 at 4:30 in the morning, and the team didn’t miss a beat! Danny, our amazing server, handled our early-morning crew with grace, speed, and a constant smile. Taking orders from a crowd that size is no easy task, but she made it look effortless. The chef was also on point—cranking out hot, fresh, and delicious food that hit the spot after our run. Despite the surprise of a large group arriving before the sun came up, the staff stayed calm, friendly, and totally on top of it. Massive thanks to Danny and the whole Waffle House #2388 crew for turning our early morning into a great one. We’ll definitely be back!

Had the Pork Chop Meat Lovers breakfast, amazing! I come for the hash browns, and I prefer them in the rings, but the store has no rings. So, they were above average, of course, but not as good as they could have been. Love this place, always! Great service, great atmosphere, and really good food. I'd come back, lol

Waffle House has always been one of my favorite treats to myself, from my party days at the Midnight Rodeo in Amarillo to special breakfasts with my son before big days at school here in Fort Worth. Today, was my first visit to your Watauga location as I had dropped my kiddo off at school and was waiting to go back for his Apex Fun Run and this team stood out in a big way. I was cheerfully greeted with a "Good Morning" by the whole crew upon entering probably the cleanest and best maintained location I've been in to date. I sat at the counter and Lisa (I knew when I saw the 1985 on her name tag I was in for a treat!), immediately greeted me and was ready to take down my off-menu order that every WH is willing to make for me when I come. My Sausage Egg and Cheese Whole Patty Omelette with Double Hashbrowns, scattered, smothered, double covered, chunked and capped was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Coffee was hot and fresh, and never less than half full. Patrick, Cameron, Elaine and Lisa each stopped by at least once while I was there to see if there was anything I needed. I also heard them around me interacting with the other patrons, giving the same world class service. No one had to wait for anything. In 30 years of being a Waffle House junkie, this is now my absolute favoriteexperience. Being in the restaurant business myself for 20 years, the last fifteen as a Professional Chef, experiences like these make my culinary heart smile. Great job, team! My family and I will be back soon and often!!!

Lots of Good Thingz

If it wasn't for Relief Manager, Sharetha, and her Lead Cook, Slim, this place wouldn't of made it yesterday. We came in at 12:20 and as a Chef & Restauranteur, I could tell they had been slammed all morning. Sharetha was doing inventory for the afternoon shift to be set up but still jumped in to cook our meal. She has a great attitude and leads her crew with positivity and comedy. True restaurant leader. This all happened organically through mere observance as I do all WH and every restaurant..as we all do. The food was outstanding and cooked perfectly to order. I was with my Mom yesterday, Saturday November 19, 2022, and she was blown away by both, Sharetha and Slim. My mama is a hard customer. Ha. After eating and talking with Sharetha right quick, I asked her if she was the GM. She said, nope. I asked where is the GM and she advised they (didn't ask name, etc as it doesn't change the frame) were off today. I fell out of my booth. Literally, my teeth are loose from hitting the table. Sharetha professionally did not comment but I had plenty to say. I'll end my rant but not including the commentary by again, thanks to Sharetha & Slim, I'll / We will be back to this location. Lastly, we cannot sleep on the fact our server was training and appeared others were too so I have to say it again for the folks in the back, Thank you Sharetha for being a level, cool headed leader in the face of the battle you lead your team through. You are going to the top!

Just opened a new location, so they were SLAMMED, but the whole staff was pleasant, even though they were hustling the entire time, and they were getting orders over the phone, too. Ray was consistently pleasant and polite, Gabriel kept his eyes on everything making sure anyone who needed help got it with a smile. Louis was the calm in the storm, wiping and wrapping silverware methodically and peacefully. Regional and division management was on the floor, guiding and even cashing out tickets and clearing tables. Master Cook (I never saw his name) churned out order after order constantly without a single sigh or unpleasant face. De Dee, Kalie, and Ashley were primarily in other areas but always had smiles and were always on task. They handled the chaos incredibly well, and to top it all off, my food was perfect and my coffee cup stayed full.

This place is honestly one of the best around here! The blueberry pancakes smelled really good when we came inside and tasted great when I had them. Hashbrowns are the correct crisp and Sprite was fizzy and tasted great. A/C in the restaurant works well and I was even a bit chilly. Tyler was our server and he had a great personality and was a great person.

Nothing waffle house did wrong, I've just never been a fan. My husband loves it. This location specifically was very clean, and inviting. Someone greeted is at the door saying hello and or waitresses were so fun.

I stopped by Waffle House on Monday, August 21st, for a good breakfast. I ordered cheese and eggs with bacon and grits on the side. I received cheese and eggs with grits on the plate and sausage. The eggs are very good and so was a toast in the grits are good too. However I received my bacon after I finished my breakfast. Not very good service however the waffle House cook was doing a great job.
