This place is a hidden gem! I never had Venezuelan food until today, and I loved it, this restaurant is small and locally owned, the food tasted so fresh and was very flavorful. The service was absolutely amazing. The lady that took our order was extremely sweet and helped us understand the menu. I will be going back regularly!
Awesome food and staff! Very clean and classy. Plenty of Gluten free options!
The chicken pepita was amazing. It was HUGE, so I couldn't finish it all. I think it was even tastier as leftovers! The bun was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The fries were also delicious! I forgot to try the cilantro sauce they brought to the table. I'll have to try it next time! The tequeños came with a delicious sauce that I also used on my fries.
We just ate there today ! Wednesday 9/27/2023. The food was amazing! It was so good. And fresh ! The owners explained their menu which we found helpful! The food was seasoned well and not spicy. We definitely will be back !!
I've tested this place three times. Each time I've been greeted with a smile and a spotless kitchen. The seating is outdoor only however was much more clean then expected. Staff was friendly and took time to educate me on what's different dishes were. I've tested a total of nine dishes. I have not had a single one that I have not liked. Would give 6 star if possible.
So glad that they have their own place now. Love the atmosphere and the food delicious. I’m so happy that they now are open since 9am and are offering breakfast! There is nothing like a good empanada as breakfast! So recommended
The first time I visited this restaurant and it was a jewel. Service was great, and if you are willing to try something new. This is the place.
Nice clean little place. They have moved tothe strip center beside Piña Fiesta from the big food trailer beside them. Service was great and the chicken Po’boy type sandwich I had was delicious and so big I had to eat some with a fork before picking it up. Seasoning is much different than Mexican and the green cilantro sauce was delicious. The bun was artisan and crusty. Good experience, will definitely go back
The food was good, The service was incredible I definitely recommend this place. My only recommendation is add the price to the menu
the food here is so good! jahan he told me to come here and I did and it was soooooooo goooood! the Venezuelan style burger
The food was delicious and the service was amazing ! I highly recommend this place. Also vegetarian friendly, as they will accommodate requests on their menu items. Yum !
We had two types of Venezuelan sandwiches ( Arepas ) and I gotta say it. They are extremely delicious! I usually take pics but I was to busy eating. A must try!
This was a great experience. Food was excellent. I was in town for business and went back several times.
Hands down the best food I've had In a very long time. Affordable and great service. Definitely adding to the rotation.
The food is absolutely wonderful. The place is super clean, has friendly service, great prices.
Had beef and chicken empanada and both were excellent. Chicken and cheese arepa was perfect. Very happy we stumbled in here.
Never disappointed here. Good service great food . Nice portions for the price.
My son and I just got takeout from this place. The arepas are incredible. The food is fantastic, and we will definitely be back very soon!
Las Chamas is my favorite spot, hands down. I always gotta get the arepa—it's really good. The way they make it is just so good, and it always hits the spot. I'm already looking forward to going back!
Excellent service, totally natural Venezuelan, and the taste spectacular 👌.
First time here and will be back! The service was wonderful. The woman at the counter gave us her recommendations on what to try. Very clean and nicely decorated. Alot of food for the money. Everything was fresh and seasoned well. I'd recommend for sure.

Delicious gluten free arepas! I had the mexican steak arepa, it was seasoned perfectly, all of the ingredients were fresh and the sauces provided were fantastic. I also had the cachapa (pictured), if you love cheese with a little bit of sweetness, this one's for you! Everything was delicious and the owner was really kind and helpful! I'll definitely be back.

Will repeat, for sure. Great place to have a taste of the incredible Venezuelan cuisine. Mom has already targeted the snapper for our next round. . 300% recommend
Everything was very delicious. I went with two people and we felt right at home ❤️🇻🇪
I had the pleasure of visiting Las Chamas and I was absolutely impressed. It’s a cozy and welcoming place that makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. The food is incredibly delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The customer service is outstanding—the staff is friendly, attentive, and truly committed to offering the best experience possible. I 100% recommend Las Chamas. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy amazing food in a warm atmosphere with top-notch service. I will definitely be coming back!
The place maybe not that big, but it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Owners go above and beyond to make customers feel at home. Every dish I've tried so far has been delicious, and the "Carne en Vara" is the best I've had in years. The only thing missing is draft beer, but aside from that, I absolutely love this charming Venezuelan spot in the Heart of Louisville.
A Venezuelan gem in every bite! We visited Las Chamas and loved everything. The empanadas were crispy and flavorful, the tequeños perfectly golden, the burgers juicy and delicious, and the mandocas were absolutely amazing with that sweet touch that takes you straight to Venezuela. We paired it all with a classic Venezuelan Malta and a refreshing papelón con limón — a perfect combo! The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is very friendly. Without a doubt, Las Chamas makes you feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back!
This place is fantastic. Most of the staff do not speak English. DO NOT let that scare you away! The food is fantastic and they are so friendly. We've gotten empanadas there several times and they're amazing.

Food was delicious (plantains appetizer and arepas). Very nice server and patient with two ladies trying Venezuelan for the first time.
My pepito was really good. It was large with really good bread and quality meat. The ketchup and mayonnaise on this was a little off for my flavor pallet, but I guess it's traditional. I'd rather have just about any other sauce (even thousand island just so the bites are consistent instead of one bite with ketchup and the next with mayo). Also got an arepa, which didn't go over well. We tossed half of it out. The fries were undercooked, limp, and also went in the garbage.
Food was good. The meat could be better quality. Big servings. Service was great. Very helpful.
They're really good for people who want to try Venezuelan food. The customer service is just alright enough to get around. They got a website from which you can order, but I don't know if it's that they don't know about their own website or something but they just don't get those orders from there. I made an order for a tray of 50 tequeños from their own website, and the cashier said she didn't know about the order. I paid $80 which I'm disputing with my credit card company rn. According to the cashier, this Venezuelan restaurant doesn't sell any Tequeños even though I've bought it from them, they got it in their menu from their website, and the online ordering option gives the option to buy an entire tray. They're really good, not the best one in town, but really cool for people living in the southwest.

It was the most expensive dinner I've ever had. A plantain sandwich with chicken, some sweet arepas, and two drinks, $40 including tip. The food was good but overpriced. Chairs are not comfortable!
My son and I were excited to try a new place. It was pretty packed and we were new. I asked about dining in and when a seat would be available and they just kind of looked around but we were accommodated. I'm not sure if there was a language barrier with one of the employees or not but I kinda felt like they didn't want us there. It was a little pricey and the prices weren't listed. The food tastes good but a little too rich for me. I asked different questions about menu items but I felt like they expected me to know what I wanted. I do speak Spanish but I didn't feel confident. Someone took over the order and that went smoothly but I don't know, something just felt off. It was a nice place, it just didn't feel really warm and inviting.😔 I would like to come back and try something else but I'm nervous.

I went inside to order and the restaurant is small, and with quite a bit of people in to dine it was really noisy. To add to that the restaurant plays music “loudly” may I add, which adds to the noise. When it was time for me to order the waitress could barley me, and she didn't speak english. I looked at the menu and it only contains the food items with no prices. 😕 Huh? So you have to ask how much everything costs. I ordered a shawarma sandwich, I asked what sauce he came with. She couldn't understand the question. She called over a younger girl who knew English. I asked her what sauce comes with the sandwich. THEY DONT KNOW. I ordered anyway to try, maybe the taste of the food would override my experience. If not, I probably won't return. Oh, and when there are others in to dine, don't expect fast service, there’s only one person taking orders, being the waitress, and cashing people out. Once I tried the food I know that I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Food was decent—I’d rate it 6/10. The prices are a bit too high, especially $8.00 hot chocolate. Not really a place I would visit often

The restaurant is cute and the food was decent, but it wasn't authentic Venezuelan and the food made me sick to my stomach, It was expensive and the music was way too loud. The menu has no prices, and the server was rude and didnt speak english. Would not recommend it and I won't be back.
We had taken a chance to try this place for lunch. The only thing FRESH was the chicken empanadas. Pepito mix not fresh. The steak, chicken and shrimp were COLD. Unfortunately the ladies didn’t speak English so we used our translator, after informing them it was COLD they popped it into the microwave to make it hot !!!! I was dumbfounded. Tiramisu dessert was sour we didn’t not attempt to eat any further and be sick. Not sure why our experience was not GREAT. The place was empty no other customers just two of us and the two workers. I would not recommend this restaurant. We hope that no one else gets this type of service.
