I heard of this place through one of my friends from church! Wanted to come on here and say Raymond was absolutely great! Bless his heart! I got the matcha milk tea it was so delicious! I will definitely be coming here with my friends again soon!
Hi!! I'm a teenager, and I have some things to share. Yeah no, I love this place. SOOO much. The interior is okay, there's a few art here and there. Me personally, I haven't tried EVERYTHING, so there are most likely some stuff you should not get. I have a sweet tooth, like any other gal, but I don't like overly sweet things. I usually get the classical Milk Tea or Honey Oolong Tea, and those are pretty good! I love boba, and this is my go-to spot. You could quite literally just pull out a laptop and start writing while drinking their tea, if you wanted to. Compared to other boba places, this is by far the best one; as the other places have the hardest tapioca pearls and not very good tea. Their tapioca is big and chewy, and helps me savor the taste of the tea before I just chug it all down, haha. All jokes aside, this is one of my favorite places that I would basically beg my parents to go because It's just so good. 10/10!!!
Idk what all these bad reviews are talking about tbh. I’ve been going to the bay area location for years and have always had consistent service and quality. Some of yall are complaining just to complain.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kung Fu Tea never disappoints. The drinks are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, not watered down. The boba is consistently chewy and cooked just right, which honestly makes all the difference. There’s a great variety on the menu, whether you’re in the mood for classic milk tea, fruit tea, or something seasonal. Service is usually quick and friendly, and the place has a chill vibe that’s perfect for hanging out or grabbing a drink on the go. Definitely one of my go-to boba spots!
Love Kung Fu Tea! I got the mango green tea with mango popping bubbles and it was sooo good. Super refreshing. The popping bubbles were my favorite part—little bursts of mango every sip. Definitely one of my go-to drinks now. Would 100% order again!
The tea here was amazing! I ordered the strawberry punch yesterday and it was one of the best drinks I've ever had! The worker who went by the name of Harry did amazing, even though he had multiple orders and was working by himself.

My daughter and I love water melon green tea, and it's a place where I enjoy spending time with my little girl.

Try the Rose Hip Lemonade without Cane Sugar if you’re health conscious. This was my first time here and I got the cocoa cream boba initially. I was dissatisfied with how sweet it was since I’m prediabetic. Fortunately, the manager Heath made amends by allowing me to chose another. So I chose the drink mentioned above. I recommend this place!
First time trying boba! Ask the staff for suggestions they told me the kung fu milk tea was the most popular. So I went for it! It wasn't bad it have a fresh taste. I couldn't get used to the texture of the boba bubbles. We also tried the mango lemonade with strawberry jelly. The viscous texture of the jelly is different and worth trying!
My husband and I come in here a lot since summer started. The drinks are tasty, the boba is fantastic, the workers are super friendly, and they're fast. The location is also clean. So I recommend coming here, it's a good place for drinks!🧋 However my biggest complaint is that they're consistently very stingy with the milk cap at this location. Even when you ask for it thick, or extra or double (and pay extra) the milk cap is almost always meager. Not sure if this is because of management or if they just don't make enough to serve a lot, but for comparison, I have a picture of a milk cap from this location and from the Louisiana St. location. (The Bellaire location serves their milk cap similar to the Louisiana one, it's also very thick, especially when you say extra.) and often the drinks here aren't filled to the top. Like I said, I suspect it's a management-being-frugal kind of thing, but it's a bummer to an otherwise great place.

Loved the customer service!! Staff were very polite and friendly when assisting me and my friends today. They worked in a timely manner to serve us. Although it took awhile to get them, our drinks came out great, with the right consistency!! We will definitely be coming back here sooner rather than later. Kung Fu Tea at Webster.

I used to go here often specifically because i love the milk tea but the last two times i went to get it i couldn’t. The first time they had practically nothing to make any of the drinks we wanted cause the tea was watered down and they had no black boba. Second try a week later and they did not have black tea to make the milk tea. Went ahead and got a refund and won’t be back unfortunately. I would recommend going somewhere else so you don’t waste your time.
I was disappointed when I visited Kung Fu tea today. I wasn't upset about the customer service or the establishment itself, but when I ordered my drink I was told the boba wasn't ready and that it would be a moment. I was fine to wait, but my drink was soon called with no boba or brown sugar glaze, both of which I paid for. I think paying for full price felt like a scam for what I received.

Ordered Cocoa cream wow, absolutely disappointed, the barista just put cocoa powder and straight up milk and boba, and that’s it, and when i drink it, no flavor at all, you can’t even taste the cocoa thing, even if you mixed it. Everything is separating.
Ive been to multiple Kung Fu Teas and always get the same thing . and I went to get a Cocoa Cream wow with a milk cap , and got milk in a cup with plain tapioca and cocoa powder it was horrible and there was no milk cap that I payed EXTRA for and there was no brown sugar boba . tasted nothing like the same tea i always get . Customer Service was terrible as well I was not greeted or acknowledged when i went up to the counter the girl didn’t even look up when I started trying to order . I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be back.
I always order here, and today I was really disappointed. This is their Thai tea.. it tasted nothing like a Thai tea and when we said something the girls behind the counter were very defensive. It’s disgusting. I am so disappointed I won’t be back.

The owners don’t care about this establishment. I’ve never had such a bad experience at a tea place nor a bad boba drink ever. Especially at a Kung Fu Tea. This place makes all the other KFT look bad. If this is the first time you visit a Kung Fu, there are other locations that live up to its name, just not this one. They were low on a lot of stuff especially ice. There were two teenagers working alone. It seems as if they don’t know the recipes, nor how to balance the drinks. I’ve had very mid boba at other places that weren’t so great, but THIS place is disgusting. Whoever is responsible for running this is place is doing a great job running it to the ground. Seems like they don’t have proper training, management or inventory. Yes the kids were trying to work thru the pop they got before closing but it was so unorganized. They were giving out drinks in the wrong order. Some people got half their orders. Others got theirs before the other folks who ordered way before. I saw a man take one sip out his drink and dumped it as he immediately walked out upset. My friend only got one boba tea for her daughter and it was terrible. Mine was a taro with extra Oreo cookies and the taro was bitter as well. Tasted watered down. They didn’t have ice so mine came with no ice but my daughter’s had easy ice??? My daughter got an oreo wow, but it tasted like watery milk and they squeezed Hershey syrup at the bottom. No mixing at all. I had to ask for some syrup to sweeten my drink. My friend’s kid took one sip and hated it. My friend didn’t want to pour a whole drink in the trash, since it makes it harder on the person who takes out, so she left it on the table. A whole drink. And the boys that were working seemed so surprised that she did that. We didn’t want to be “those people” who complain or want a remake but we honestly should’ve for the amount of money went spend on watered down milk. Whoever owns this franchise location needs to turn it over to someone who cares. The best experience you can have at any Kung Fu location is in the Pearland town center
I usually love this place but my drink was horrible. They had no boba…. I then got my drink and it was so plain. Usually it’s sweet and delicious but it tasted like oolong tea and milk. They also did not have their usual boba cups just a clear cup with a lid and straw. Usually I recommend this place to my friends but today was not it. I’ve been craving it since I was away in college and was disappointed.
NOT BAY AREA LOCATION!!!! I stopped here yesterday with my 13 and 20 year old daughters to order a boba milk tea. I asked the employee named ANDREW if there was a “Brown sugar boba milk tea” on the menu because we didn't see it. He assured me he could make one. I also asked if the big cup shown near the register was a large. He said “yes, thats all we have”. I said “ok great, no worries. we’ll take 2 large brown sugar milk teas”. What he made was definitely not milk tea. It looked and tasted like plain white milk with black boba pearls on the bottom. We have ordered brown sugar milk teas from other places before (including Kung Fu tea in Pearland) and it NEVER looked or tasted this way. I thought there was a misunderstanding and wanted to allow him a chance to catch the mistake, so I asked him “Are these BROWN SUGAR MILK TEAS??” And he replied “Yes.” After trying to drink the tea with the wrong sized straw that was provided, I asked Andrew if he had a wider straw because the boba was getting stuck in our straw. Andrew replied “No, thats all we have” After tasting the drink, I realized it tasted like plain white milk. I told Andrew about our drinks not tasting right. I told him that they weren't sweet…..at all. I asked if he could add brown sugar because i don't think there was any added. He replied with “I can. I will add regular sugar and then before I could reply to his comment, he took both drinks from us.” Okay, so at this time Im thinking that something is terribly wrong with Andrew’s answer about adding regular sugar, also the way he is acting, and I am realizing this employee is probably not okay to be serving customers. After he did something else to our drinks in the back and then gave them back, they still looked and tasted the same. At this point I asked him to just give me a refund for both drinks. He quickly went up to the register, pushed a button, and said “ok. Its done.” I asked if he needed my credit card or for me to sign for the refund. I wanted something… a receipt or “proof” that he actually gave me a refund. He said he would have to call a manager. I said politely said that was fine. We were in no hurry and could wait. It was then that a different employee walked in. He walked behind the counter and asked me how he could help me. I explained from the beginning what had happened. As i am explaining i see that there ARE in fact wider boba straws available that Andrew said they didn't have!! (Why did he tell us a minute ago there weren’t any??) Anyway, after talking to this other new person, he yells me he needs to call the manager or owner at this point to try to get me a receipt. I said ok. By the way, Andrew tried to lie while I was telling this guy what happened. He even lied about the straws he said they didn’t have. I told the employee to look inside the trash can behind the counter because Andrew had just thrown both our drinks in there. He did. He just looked at Andrew confused and was like “ok, sorry about that” We ended up leaving without a receipt for the refund because they couldn’t “figure it out”. Trust me when i say WE WILL NEVER BE BACK to this location. Andrew is not ok. Something was off about him. He is bad with customers and bad for business. Don’t waste your time here. Find a different boba place. This one is awful!!!
If you think this place's drinks are good, then you've probably never had real Kung Fu tea. This place is a complete rip-off with their drinks; they don't even use real tea leaves. I don't know why they make such terrible Kung Fu tea. They never answer the phone, and their delivery drinks are always only 70% full. This is the worst drink I've ever had in my life; it really damages the reputation of "Kung Fu Tea."
Literally drove like 25 minutes and they were closed. Lights on everything. Door locked. Pretty sure the lockpad that was on the door even had the proper code needed to get in. 10 out of 10 would not recommend

DONT GO HERE!!! Like actually it's horrible. I went there the other day and they didn't even have green tea, boba, or milk to make anything. Like how can you have a boba shop, but not have boba or milk teas. Like seriously. The workers said it was because the owners are cheap and they even forced them to use lactiad milk instead of milk powder to make their milk teas and that's completely wrong from the recipe. The worker even said they reccomend going cha over this place. Their boba is old, tea is day old. I used to love this place, but it's so dead now. Even when they are in stock of stuff, it gets messed up because the workers don't even measure the ingredients, they just pour it into the cup. Don't get me started on how dirty it is. Bathroom is a mess, the floor doesn't look like it's been sweeped for days. There used to be board games, proper cleaning, and proper management, but it's just gotten worse. Damn how hard is it to manage this place.
