We were running later than expected, and truly wanted to have a shake and malt. When we arrived we were a bit past closing time. The young lady and gentleman were wonderful! They simply made our delicious drinks, and happily made us smile while they were smiling as well Thank you both for grand service. It made our trip much nicer.

The family met here for our usual ice cream visit when we pass through Weimar. Sorry to the employees because we can be a somewhat rowdy bunch but they took it in stride. This location is a bit dated but I don't mind. It's memories for me. Been going to this location for a long time.

I guess it depends on the day or time of day you go but we ordered burgers and fries and I had to compliment the guy who cooked it. It was delicious. We were there around 10ish in the morning, place was clean.

One of the better Dairy Queens out there. They don't skimp on proportion sizes, and though service at the drive through may take some time when lower on staff, the niceness of the staff and quality of the food and ice cream definitely makes up for it.

Love dairy queen food, all of it. But my 2 favorite choices are the steak fingers and chicken fried steak sandwich. Employees at Weimar have always polite and courteous. They say yes ma'am and yes sir. Kinda shocks me. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

My favorite food from my childhood, this experience was exactly what I was expecting. Filling burger and fries. Super sweet tea. Great customer service. Excellent turnaround time from order to pick up. And the soft serve was excellent, as always!

I love Dairy Queen. I can't say enough good about Dairy Queen. How about the value menu for $7? A hamburger drink fries and the ice cream afterwards. All for 7 dollars. This is one of the last old school Dairy Queens. Very nostalgic. Unfortunately they will be updating it soon. Food looked just like the picture. Employees were professional and courteous. For an older location it was cleaner than you'd think. Anyway, if you want a bit of nostalgia and classic Dairy Queen then hurry up before that update it.

Came in 19 Oct @ 1245 on my home and I had a feeling like I was forgotten but it was ok. The employees were friendly and professional. I can see everyone was working hard to keep business good for the other customers. I’m glad i stopped at this DQ to use my gift card.

Just went to Dairy Queen in Weimar, TX and it was AMAZING!! When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and the place is so bright and fresh. I think it might be under new management because it sure is a huge change from a week ago!!! The food was DELICIOUS! It was ready fast, it was hot, and FRESH. This was the best chicken I've ever had at any Dairy Queen! The blizzard was very very very good and they were not stingy with the toppings. You have to go in and give this place a try... I'm telling you it's something different. The vibes are happy, the employees are smiling, and the food is delicious! This is a must see!

Great place for a fast lunch. Clean dining room. Restrooms are a bit small. Food is served hot and is a good value.

Had a problem with them giving me old salad and hard chicken but when I informed them about It I never had that problem again. My salad now is always fresh and is even dated on when it was made. Good customer service.

Awful...food cold..no tomatoes on burger,no tomatoes on nachos,cold nacho cheese..no ice in the soda machine..they should've said there was no tamatoes I did talk to manager the next day..very nice and polite will talk to empolyees.. Waiting on truck for tomatoes..but employee should've been upfront about the absence of them..

My family and I stopped in on our way to San Antonio the Friday of Labor Day weekend. I found a delightful and interesting group of people working there. They were friendly and helpful!

OK Dairy Queen food is DQ food. I had tacos and actually it was apparent that they care about presentation and quality. Tacos were properly prepared and properly stuffed with the correct materials, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Many DQs skimp on something while they get crazy with lettuce. This DQ is fair with the quality and quantity. Most important part of this visit. The lady that I took my order and I dealt with at the window. She was a absolute sweetheart. All you had to do was look at her and you break out in smiles. I didn't catch her name but she's a older black woman. She was very friendly and literally the type of person you hope to come across when you are tired and hungry at a drive thru. She was just a delight to deal with. I think I went through the drive thru on Thursday afternoon around 4 to 5pm. If it wasn't Thursday it was Wednesday but I am almost sure it was Thursday Sept 7. To the owner of this DQ. Please keep this lady around. She's a absolute gift to your store. Her beautiful smile and her beautiful kindness and presence are very rare these days. She definitely needs to be compensated for the regular customers you will have. She's one of those employees that is the main reason people end up patronizing a business. I had a part time job as a waitress and a lady that I worked the night shift with was literally the reason why 80% of the customers came in at night. People like that are a rare type of employee nowadays and when you get that employee absolutely make sure you make it clear that you recognize their contributions to the business. I wished I remembered that woman's name but I can tell you that she was the smartest dressed DQ employee I've ever seen before. Her uniform was so perfectly arranged on herself that she literally looked better dressed than everyone else even though there was no difference in uniforms. She just figured out a way to make herself look better and put more pride in her uniform. She's definitely a keeper and definitely the reason I will come back when I am in that part of the world. Thank you for making me smile when I really was tired and not feeling well. I did leave feeling more positive about things when I finished eating in my car in your parking lot lol. Thank you. And the ice cream cone was Delish!!!! That should be a clue to her which customer I am. I had a little black and white doggie with me and a car full of traveling needs. Thank you sweet lady!

Location seems run down. Restrooms were both gross. Had to clean a table to have somewhere to eat. Food was fresh and hot.

Good Dairy Queen with very good customer service. Not all Dairy Queens are the same, since DQ is a franchise. This location in Weimer is good, we go there regularly. Nachos Supreme are great!

I went to the drive thru and got the 4 piece steak fingers and it was decent. I was happy they were still open at 9:30 in Weimer.

Was out of lettuce and woman who took our order was going to let us order a salad. Only reason we found out was because of the way we ordered a burger. Was reassured the fish was awesome, so had high hopes only to received it overfried. Gentleman who brought us food was very polite. Restrooms were decent.

Went to drive through to get some no sugar added dilly bars. Usually 6.00 a box. Priced doubled to 12.00 a box! Are they nuts?!?! Done with them! Go to Sam's club and get the frozen yogurt berry sundae-1.79! Much better!!

Got a lunch special - chicken strip basket, with a large strawberry shake.. the place was clean, the folks were friendly and nice, but the food kinda lacked... sorry to be so blunt, but the chicken was extra heavily breaded and fried to an almost jerkylike texture and yet the fries were almost undercooked... however it's fast food on the side of the highway and ya get what ya pay for - but the shake was awesome! If ya kids like extra crispy, get the chicken strips, they'll love it...

I love dairy queen, but one certain dude here is rude and has repeatedly acted as if he's got something better to do. I'm the only customer in line at supper time. Sorry for interrupting you.

Blizzards, can't go wrong. Building is old which no one has control of. Cashier took my order wrong but did correct everything.

They gave me free fries because the lady never gave me the option to put them on my order, then after 15 min i had to go inside and pickup my order because they were making everyone elses but ours. Mind you i was in the front no one in front of me. But 5 cars behind. Ugh i wobt be stopping in this town any time soon for sure

I'm a resident in Weimar, DQ is one of the few places we have here, the food is actually good, the last three times at the drive-thru my items were handed to me while the employee wasn't looking at what they were doing, then slams the window shut and walks off, maybe I needed some extra napkins, a little kind service perhaps. This wasn't isolated with just one employee. I'm finding alternatives and not going back, it's rude and apathetic, I hope your experience is better, I didn’t do anything to deserve that.

It took thirty minutes to get our order ( just fries and a blizzard). They served three cars in the drive thru before they even remembered about us . Service was very below average

I never make reviews like this but I came in one morning and there was one young lady running around up front taking orders for drive through and the dining area and making ice cream while there is an older woman and a man in the kitchen fooling around. I came inside one night to place an order and while the older woman was taking my order the man in the back was hollering at her VERY rudely to come help him. Seems like he is unable to do his job without her and it is just so sad and embarrassing for her to be talked to like that and be at his beck-and-call! I have been here many times before this dairy queen was shut down and seen many different young men working in the grill by themselves!

1. Only had ice cream. No chocolate available. Wouldnhave gotten food but the place inside is scary filthy. 2. Bathrooms i did not touch anything. Had not been cleaned in ages. NO WAY they are ADA compliant. How do they get by? The mens room door was maybe 3' wide. 3. Slow customer day. Parking lot had not been picked up in DAYS!. AT LEAST 3 employees working. Why cant they police the lot? 3.5 Store inside is probably past abilty to clean up. Been there since probably 1950 Time for a remodel. Surprised they keep their franchise without a renovation 4. While the team was in jeans and t shirts...they were nice and pleasant. 5. Suspect ownership has not nvested any time managing this team or visited the store. Ice cream was good...killed the crave. There is a DQ at the next exit. Try that one. When i saw this was being managed by 3rd generation family...it all makes sense!!

Had hair in my burger. Not just one but a couple. No one wears hair nets. Young kid came from the back with alot of curls everywhere.

Sat in drive thru over 10 min even though there were only 2 cars ahead of me only to be told they were out of bananas for the banana split I was craving.

Slowest DQ ever. One car in front of me and it had been 10 minutes for one blizzard and they didn't even remember what I ordered when I pulled up to the window.

Cold food. The Manager today walked in with her hair not brushed and in a spaghetti strap dress. Very unprofessional, she clocked in and went to sit outside to smoke.

I stopped for a milkshake and some fries. The milkshake was strawberry banana and it was disgusting. it's as if they forgot the ice cream and only put milk it was so runny it was gross I didn't I couldn't even finish it.

The absolute worst DQ in this country. Do not go to the restrooms here. They are totally disgusting. The food is not edible!! I don't know how you can make a chicken sandwich rubbery. Save your money and go to the next place. We took one bite and literally threw our food in the trash. The worst place for food!!!

Waiting 15 min for their chicken strip special, order confusion when I ordered them tried to give me two boxes and only paid for one. Look like the untrained crew operating the restaurant with no supervision. Sad place.

Was in line for an hour. I told the manager we should get our money back. He gave me a refund and no food. Very rude saying, “I’m busy, do you not see the line behind you, just go away”.

I repeated my order to the cashier 3 times and my order was still wrong and the place is so dirty dead flies everywhere the tables are so dirty and the chairs are too and the restrooms are so disgusting I'll never go there again. I fell my stomach sick after I ate there.

On our drive to Houston we stop for a quick sweet treat 40 mins later and we are still waiting! By far the worst service I have ever received in the history of fast food and dairy queen. There are about 12 young adults and/or teens behind the counter just running around the kitchen yelling and playing around while only one is doing the job of all of them. Takes over 30mins for one order in the drive thru. The one person there doing the job of the other 12 and their own needs a raise for sure because taking orders from both inside diners and drive thru then also making it all themselves and cleaning up after, they definitely deserve better pay for the hard work.

Waited 10 min to be acknowledged, although there were 6 people working. The employees proceeded to argue over the soda machine not working while my simple ice cream order went unmade. When someone finally did start my order, she was continuously interrupted regarding the soda machine. Bathroom was disgusting... no toilet paper, trash everywhere and the water was brown.

Place was filthy, fruit flies all over men's restroom, trash on restaurant floor and tables, tables not wiped down. Out of sweet tea and only had unsweet without any sugar to add, was told it wouldn't be until tomorrow? Lady brought food out with dirty hands and had her dirty finger in the middle of my french fries. Staff was friendly on a positive note...

Probably the worst blizzards I've ever had..the "cream" part of the blizzards tasted like it was soured, like it was old. Gross. We threw all 3 away and left. At least they were all mini blizzards

We were there first end up getting served last the tables were sticky the customer service was trash Bathrooms were disgusting And really small Tables were sticky The employees didn't care about anything and were serving everyone around us It took over 40 minutes to get a hamburger and a chicken basket

We waited a few minutes in line to order (we were third in line). The guy ahead us gave up and walked out. When we finally reached the register, the girl at the counter rolled her eyes and told us that it's a 45 minute wait on food orders. Nice customer service Diary Queen. Highly recommend NEVER stopping at this Weimar location.

On 8/14/16 we placed a order @6:57 pm inside order. @7:59 pm we got our order. Food was uncooked and cold. The order was not right the server Linder L must be a theft because when asking about not right order she tells me I did not order a large Texas Fried which I had a receipt with it order along with my order. The only people who think someone else is stealing is a theft because to them everyone is like them that's you Linda L.

Both bathrooms were nasty(Women’s was over flowing and men’s had throw up every where), told guy at the counter and he said he knew but hadn’t had a chance to take care of them. Mind you, there were 3 girls just standing behind the counter yapping and complaining about there being too many cars in the drive through(yet, didn’t bother waiting on them). Poor guy(I think his name was Jerry) was trying to take care of everyone and everything . Two of the girls proceeded to go sit out front in a car and smoke after finishing their conversation inside leaving yet again, poor Jerry. The third girl went to the back and I’m guessing started making food orders as we finally got ours and high tailed it out of there. I’m not one to normally complain or put reviews but this DQ experience was terrible and really not worthy of any stars. AND it wasn’t even lunchtime but early afternoon.

My best friend and I stopped here for a malt and a shake on our drive from Houston. The shake and malt were both runny like they forgot to put any ice cream in. They were the worse malts and shakes (if you can call them that) ever. The girl behind the counter was extremely rude, and it took 3 tries to get our order right. My advice is go to McDonald's just down the street. Will NEVER EVER stop here again.

Drive thru-while waiting for my order I look inside and I could see the employees do not attempt to keep the place clean at all if I could give them a number from1 to 10 I would give them a 1. Moreover; I asked for a cluster pecan blliz and I was given a drippen melt in shake. It was drippen all over her hand and when I ask for some napkins she gave me an attitude.

Im a truck driver who came to this restaurant and was refused service. A employee was cleaning the same lobby where there wasn't any public access to. I pointed to my bobtail tractor and asked him to take my order. I was directed to walk to the drive through to stand in line behind other cars while it was raining outside. If the coronavirus has them so afraid to do business then maybe they should close until they feel safe. Definitely unacceptable to be unaccomodating to a truck driver. Not a place I will do business with anytime in th we future. By the way this is the schulenburg, tx location 77 n kesslar ave.

Call ahead and make sure they are fully staffed before going. Wait time for a burger was 20+ minutes and it was made incorrectly twice. Asked for a refund and the shift lead was the only one who could issue and was also the only one who knew how to cook. No decent GM/owner should let their staff suffer like this, everyone was frustrated.

Possibly the slowest service known to man. The pyramids in Egypt may have been built faster than it took me to place order and receive my food

Ordered online for pick up. The order was wrong. Paid for onion rings. Got a small fry. Burger was not made as ordered. I wish I could say this was the first time they messed up our order, but it’s not.

Waited 40 min for just two blizzards. Guy kept telling us he was about to make them and then kept doing other things. Same thing happened to multiple customers while we were there. Ridiculous.

Stopped at this location to grab food for my kids. Ordered 2 of the 2piece chicken strip kid meals. The young man at the counter tried to change the kid drink and fries to regular size drink and fries without asking me. It would’ve charged me extra for both of those upgrades, when I noticed in the screen I told him no that I just wanted the kid size things that came with it. He apologized and said his BOSS “Belinda” tells him to do that. So we’re up charging people for things they didn’t ask for? I firmly believe this is something they’re doing to EVERYONE to make more money. I’m sure I probably still would’ve gotten the kid sizes regardless. Shame on you Belinda.

Terrible. Waited thirty minutes and then my child’s food was wrong! Took another twelve minutes to get a kid’s burger remade. Then waited up front for another ten minutes for someone to come and take the kids ice cream coupons from me to be able to get those. Drinks weren’t working up front, but no one told us so we went with one of the very few options they had, only to discover later that they had all the other regular drink options available behind the counter, which no one told us. This is the worse Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to. Bathrooms we’re disgusting as well.

The lady that took our drive thru order was nice, she did seem overwhelmed with only 3 employees working. We waited 30 minutes for 2 meals when I decided to go inside and get a refund. The manager had to be called for the refund who wasn’t too friendly but also seemed stressed and overwhelmed with all the orders. Don’t go to this DQ unless you have time to wait.

Not only did they take half an our to get my food out in the drive though but when I went to eat it these chicken and dumplings was a soup.. normally the sauce is thick like it’s supposed to be but this isn’t it… my dumplings are soggy and have a weird taste and there’s barley any noodles in there. I paid $15 for garbage food. 10/10 do NOT recommend. :(

Restaurant is nasty and needs cleaning the cash register had spider webs and dust all around it, I did tell the cashier that took our order that they need to dust and she did agree.The seats were not clean. The window seals had dead bugs in them. The restroom were horrible and needed a thorough cleaning. While we were waiting for order the ice machine froze. Dead bugs on the floor and floor needs mopping.It took 20 minutes for our food and it was wrong. I order a patty melt but got a bun.The cashier was nice and friendly is the only good thing I can say.

One of the worst restaurants I have been to. I understand being busy. But 3 employees. One being rude to our elderly for no reason when they sat here for 30 min waiting on there small order they received finally. (That’s when my husband walked out before he got involved) You have another employee outside smoking with how busy it was and yelling at other than employees 5 minutes prior about how he doesn’t get paid enough to work 2 stations. Blizzard was barely even mixed and the nachos were gross. Will never visit this Dairy Queen again. I would rather drive a further distance for better service and food.
