Love this spot , just hate the wait time but totally worth the wait. Such a cozy spot , love how dim it is and feels a bit romantic . Great dessert spot after a date . Took a friend there for her birthday last night , she totally loved it . It’s majority vegan and gluten free. I had the falafel sandwich and it was actually delicious. We got few desserts as well like the S’mores Brownie , Creme Brûlée , and S’mores. Ambiance - 10/10 Dim/dark Service - 100/10 Amazing WiFi- Not Sure Reservation- Waitlist on Yelp Weekends Cash Only - They Have an ATM
Expect a long wait in the fall season, especially in October. They don’t take reservations and you sign up for the waitlist through Yelp. We waited an hour to be seated. The nachos and spinach dip were okay, I liked the ramen. The drinks and desserts are great. The decor was amazing and a good vibe. The service is really good here too.
I was spending time with a long-time friend, with whom I last spent time, this past June. She surprised me by treating me to lunch. This was my first time at The Witches Brew, and it shall not be my last. Both my friend and I were happy with the food and the service. If she and I had more time we would have ordered a sweet treat but I must say, that Cafe Su Lait did me so good. My friend's timing was perfect, as neither she nor I were aware this restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Good thing we visited today, Wednesday, November 2, 2022. The bathroom is gender-neutral and one of the best, well-stocked bathrooms I have used in a very long time. I look forward to returning, as soon as I can.
My new favorite restaurant, I cannot begin to tell you how amazing it is from the friendly awesome staff, the gorgeous unique furnishings to the delectably tasty and beyond delicious food. My daughters and I had a wonderful time here. We all enjoyed each others selections. Everything was 100!!!
Stunning atmosphere with excellent service. I tried the Gypsy iced coffee, artichoke spinach, dip with chips, buffalo cauliflower, and then we each had a dessert and I tried the cream Brulé, and it was out of this world. It was perfect.!! Plus can I just give them like a round of applause for keeping a clean bathroom👏👏👏👏
Can't say enough great things about this cafe. This is my number one spot for nights out, dates, and gatherings. I come here for the cozy atmosphere and their amazing vegan food + desserts. The owners are awesome people and the staff is always super friendly. Huge selection of teas and coffees. Absolutely incredible place.
Awesome selection of teas that won’t break the bank! The Dragon Moon was great and my bf loved the oat milk latte. They seemed really busy, but service was still very friendly. They did make accommodations for my dog with outdoor seating, which I very much appreciated because I know regulations can be a bit tough. Will be back!
I have been going here since the late 90s, and it's still awesome! Food is fantastic, desserts are outrageous, & drinks are phenomenal. The vibe is chill goth with a cool collection of cozy antique furniture. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but as a tea person I always go with iron goddess of mercy. I used to get the red eye when I would go to punk shows around here, because their coffee was and still is in my opinion, some of the best on the island.
One of a kind coffee shop and cafe/restaurant. The staff is great: a motley crew of interesting, friendly, interesting people. The food is good, and the place is definitely low-key haunted. A little expensive.
I've heard about this place since I was in high school, but never made it in until recently. Now it's one of my go to spots for a relaxing tea and baked goods. The name and the storefront make it seem like it will be an ultra witchy spooky place, which was always a little bit intimidating. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that the vibes are just right and more like an old school cafe. There are plenty of couches, armchairs, and chaise lounges, perfect for reading with a pot of tea and a pastry. I've tried a couple of their teas and you really can't go wrong with any of them. They serve them in a cute little cast iron pot with great little teacups and saucers. I also had one of their cinnamon rolls which were delicious. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and always attentive. Just note that it is cash only, so come prepared with some bills on hand.
It was absolutely AMAZING! My first time there and what a fun experience. I would most definitely go back again. As someone who celebrates Lent, it's a wonderful place to go to on Fridays for their vegan/vegetarian meals. The food was delicious, the coffee was good and the staff are kind and welcoming. Fabulous atmosphere as well!
This place is so amazing. So many all -vegan options to choose from. Need to come here multiple times to try everything. This was my first time here. The nachos are out of this world! The best vegan nachos I've had. I also had the gyro which was delicious as well. Service was fast. The waiter Kareem was great and very friendly. The restaurant is CASH ONLY but there is an ATM in the restaurant. There is also an 18% gratuity added to each party.
We did not know the food was all vegetarian. We order the "chix" wrap and it was very good. The coffee and desserts were great
Love love this place! It’s so magical inside and it is usually opened till late; you can have any type of tea, coffee you think. I don’t know many places in the area beside this one that opens late, so cozy and no alcohol) Food is vegan and delicious; I am not vegan but was curious to try and will recommend! I came here many times with friends, date and with children (children loved the witches house!! They were so curious about it and of course loved all these deserts they are offering). Will be back soon for sure!
Witches Brew is out of the ordinary when it comes to Long Island restaurants. This is a cozy and homey restaurant offering a unique full vegetarian/vegan menu. They serve some of the best tasting and fresh pastas, nachos, and mediterranean platters, just to name a few dishes. They also have a large selection of drinks including teas, coffees, italian sodas, and milkshakes. I always end up ordering the Mac and Cheese, Pesto Fettuccine, and Chai Freeze. I have not tried their dessert yet but I heard it is out of this world. The restaurant is clean and spacious. They have tables, lounge sofas, and low-to-the-ground seating. The vibe is very relaxed, and it is especially pleasant during the winter time. Service is quick and efficient. The staff is generally friendly. The restaurant can have a wait at times so I suggest you get on the waitlist on Yelp. Also, they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so don't make the mistake of coming here on those days like I did. Can't wait for my next visit! 5/5 stars.
This place is just amazing. I unfortunately didn’t have the chance to sit down and fully experience the witch and cottage-core aesthetic, but from what I did see it looked absolutely amazing. The menu was a little hard to read but the design was super cute, and while the food took a little while to come it was fairly busy. The wait was certainly worth it. If you had told me that the grilled chicken wrap was vegan I would never believe you. I almost prefer the mock chicken here over real chicken, it was juicy and perfectly grilled. I wish I had gotten more than one dessert but what I did have was amazing and I would happily come back here again to sit down.
Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Probably the coolest coffee shop/cafe on Long Island! There’s so much to look at, and it’s decorated so uniquely. The drinks are always amazing and the food is delicious! Definitely recommend for a little date or a more intimate meetup with friends as there isn’t seating for large groups.
I've started going to this place when they first opened. I'm so glad they are still around almost 30 years later. It's been a while so I got the hot brownie and the Vamp espresso drink. Vegan friendly. Goth theme. It's been a long time since I've been here at night, but as a teen this was a place to go and feel accepted. The vibe. The music. My happy place. Long live the Brew.
Loved it 25 years ago, still love it today. The host was incredibly kind to my party that didnt have a reservation and from traveled from out of state to come visit. They found a spot for us before it got too busy (i think someone cancelled). And had great drinks and food. Ill always come back and always recommend.
This was my second time coming here and it did not disappoint. There are no reservations, but you can add yourself to a waitlist via Google or Yelp. The selection of teas and coffees are insane! There is literally something for everyone. I ordered the Alfredo mushroom pasta and crème brûlée for dessert. My top recs also include the mac & cheese and the spinach and artichoke dip. NOTE: this spot is cash only! There is an ATM machine but it may, or may not accept your card, depending on who you bank with, so bring cash. Gratuity is automatically applied.
We heard so many good things about this spot so we had to check it out. The menu is extensive so there's plenty to choose from. The iced coffee here was exquisite and the tiramisu/cake were all excellent. The atmosphere here is wonderful and has a bunch of small details throughout the space. Perfect spot to take your date/family for brunch/lunch especially closer to Halloween.
🎃👻 A halloween/spooky themed coffee shop???? Yes, this is real! Halloween lovers MUST come here. Its 100% worth it! 🎃👻 When in the area, I found this on google and legit drove 20 minutes out of my way to go here… worth it! The outside was lit beautifully at night adding to the vibe. The entire inside is amazing. You could spend 15 mins just checking out all the spooky decor! They have a large selection of vegan baked goods in the case. Lots of fun drinks. And you can sit down to dine. I got a coffee for the road - gotta try some Witches Brew after all! 2 mini vegan cheesecakes also caught my eye. Seriously, come here for the VIBE. Even more of a bonus, good food & drinks!!
Cool environment. Relaxed; but very metal simultaneously. Probably 100 different coffees amd espressos to choose from. Vegan menu that's worth the visit. Hoison brusslesprouts were the WIN. The meatless Chicken Sandwich and Philly Cheesesteak were both incredible. Deserts were off the chain. Been there over twenty years - well worth the visit. Keep in mind - cash only... so be prepared!!!
I came here around lunchtime, as my first time here, i thought we would only come for a small bite and drinks but was pleasantly surprised to see such a great menu of all kinds of beverages for everyone, including a toddler, the menu was fully vegetarian and vegan friendly also! It was such a sweet surprise and even more satisfying that every single thing we ordered was delicious ! Staff was also super accommodating, sweet and friendly and they really made sure we were happy with it all ! Thank you guys for a great experience, cant wait to come back 🧙🏼♀️ 🖤
If you know, you KNOW. Witches Brew is the spot for delicious food, amazing drinks, decadent desserts and the coziest vibes. Everything is completely vegan, but you would never feel like you’re missing a thing. The flavors are comforting and so satisfying. I always have to start with the nachos. My longtime go-to is the falafel sandwich (so good every single time), but I recently tried the pesto gnocchi and wow… that might be my new favorite. Absolute perfection. I just had their hot cocoa with peanut butter added and it is officially my favorite hot cocoa ever. Rich, cozy, and exactly what you want in a warm drink. This place just feels special. I’ve been coming here for years with my friends. Forever a favorite.
Everything we tried was delicious. I've never had a vegan chicken that good. Heres what we got: Frozen vanilla Chai drink, frozen chocolate drink, buffalo cauliflower, Mac and cheese, Korean fried chicken sandwich, chicken marsala, mushroom Alfredo pasta, apple crumb cheesecake, brownie cheesecake and sugar free apple pie. Our waiter was super nice and very attentive. The restaurants atmosphere was great too. Looking forward to our next visit!!
Been going here for years. Always a wonderful experience. Ambience and lighting is welcoming. Great variety. Delicious entrees and desserts. Exceptional service. Friends I brought enjoyed it.
First time coming here and the food was amazing. The coffee was amazing and the whole atmosphere was very comforting and calming . I ordered a coffee The only thing I have to say about it is they added too much ice in the coffee but other than that it was delicious . Please do not sell your Establishment ever . A lot of times I see places I used to go to that had good food sell to different owners and I go back to those places and the food is nasty . Please don’t ever change owners and chefs . The food here is amazing and taste delicious ! I will definitely come back to this place !
We finally made it to The Witches Brew and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered a spread: the vegan Korean fried chicken sandwich, Philly cheesesteak, red coconut curry, chocolate cookie à la mode, apple crumb cheesecake, cinnamon bun, and a Boston cream doughnut. First off, the food was outstanding. The vegan Korean fried chicken sandwich was crispy, saucy, and packed with flavor. The Philly cheesesteak was rich and satisfying, the Mac and cheese was rich and gooey, and the red coconut curry had incredible depth with the perfect balance of spice and sweetness. Every savory dish felt thoughtfully made and really comforting. Then came the desserts, which were honestly the highlight. The chocolate cookie à la mode was warm and decadent, the apple crumb cheesecake was unbelievably good, and the cinnamon bun was soft, gooey, and exactly what you want from a bakery-style roll. The only thing that didn’t quite hit the mark for us was the Boston cream doughnut, it was dry to be honest, but with how incredible everything else was, it barely mattered. The staff were also incredibly sweet and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Between the creative menu, the quality of the food, and the cozy atmosphere, this place is such a gem. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
Atmosphere is really one of a kind, and remarkably cozy and whimsigoth. Nothing is like this place, not even Salem, MA. Staff is really extraordinary, and kind to my friends and I. No matter if they're experienced or new, they're very kind and mellow. They don't show their stress. I love bringing every single friend I have here for their vast menu of iced coffee and hot tea. It's worth trying a new iced coffee every single time you visit. Their vegan Korean Chicken Patty is so so good. Their homemade pumpkin burger is the most outstanding thing I've ever had; I'd take that over the Impossible burger any day. I love and appreciate the vegan items, & recommend the vegan cheesecakes, and the not-vegan creme brulee and carrot cake. The Witches Brew experience is worth the wait, every single time.
Amazing food, even my boyfriend who isnt vegan/vegetarian, loved his food. He loves fried chicken normally but wouldnt stop raving about how good the vegan fried chicken sandwich was. Im fully vegan and I got the coconut curry as well as trying his sandwich and both were exceptionally good. Fries were so so good too. The coffee is VERY good. As a vegan its hard to find good coffee but this place offeres many syrup options as well as vegan whipped cream and alternative milks. I got hazelnut vanilla and maple syrups oatmilk latte and it was so good and rich and smooth, not too sweet but definitely not bitter. My boyfriend got the French vanilla and marshmallow syrups with oatmilk and vegan whipped cream and said its the best whipped cream hes ever tried, again hes not vegan and a big sweet lover. Also our waitress was so kind and helpful when answering my questions. Staff seems happy and welcoming despite being insanely busy. Will definitely be coming back every time im in town. 10/10 restruant.
The service was amazing, they answer any question you have politely, and the waiter helps you with recommendations for what to get. The food was some of the best I’ve had, I wanted more even when I was full, and so many things are organic and all are vegan are vegetarian, which is great because there aren’t any vegan spots that are this good on Long Island. The coffee was so good too, some of the best I’ve had, and there’s so many unique syrups. The atmosphere is very cozy on the inside and out, it definitely stands out on the street It’s located on. 10/10, I’ll definitely be coming back
Adorable and cozy vibes here. Surprisingly a good amount of options for food and coffee. Beautifully dim lit, great for a date night or an intimate time with friends. You can tell it’s a neighborhood spot. Decor was beautiful. Perfect for the fall. Food was decent, vegan only. CHAI FREEZE WAS AMAZING. Service was pretty good, the staff are straightforward. CASH ONLY. ‼️JOIN THE WAITLIST BEFORE COMING‼️
What a unique and magical place! The location is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully designed. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it’s a fully vegan spot with such an impressive variety of drinks and food options. We tried the Pesto Gnocchi, Smokey Tea, and Mocha Coffee — everything was delicious! The brownie cheesecake was mouthwatering and a must-try. The only downsides were the long wait time and the reservation process, even on a Friday afternoon.. Also, I felt the service could be a bit more attentive. Also, the automatic 20% gratuity for a party of two was unexpected. That said, the ambience was absolutely amazing — cozy, creative, and full of character. Totally worth the visit, and I can’t wait to go back! 🌿☕✨
VIBES I've been going to the Witches Brew since about 2008 and it's still one of my favorite cozy spots. The decor is spooky and a little eclectic. While during the day you can see the fun mixed and matched vintage furniture, at night their warm string lights make for the coziest ambiance. It's especially perfect during the Halloween season. One thing that I noticed from our most recent visit on a Friday evening is there were a good amount of families with kids and even babies. It might be quieter to go at a different time like I have in the past. Funny enough, it's probably all the people like me who used to come here in our high school days. SERVICE They get super busy and have implemented a virtual waiting list system that you can find via a link on their Instagram. It'll notify you when you're next and gives you 10 minutes to get back there. Honestly, easy nicer than waiting in a line outside in the cold! They've also always had super nice servers that regardless of time have the same friendly chill vibes. FOOD My favorite thing to get here is one of their special coffee flavors. They have a huge assortment with fun spooky names. I love picking one with a marshmallow flavor base. Might be called Midnight. They also have a huge adjustment of loose leaf teas that they serve in cast iron tea pots. These drinks pair perfectly with their desserts. My favorite things to get from them is a warm cinnamon bun a la mode. For their savory food it should be noted that the whole menu is vegetarian/vegan friendly. Something we ALWAYS get is their focaccia which is warm and cheesy. Their artichoke dip with nachos is excellent and my husband enjoyed his falafel sandwich with fries.
This Gem of Long Island Offers a Cozy vibe with an At-Home feels. They have a huge Fancy and Regular Coffee list as well as some of the best Vegetarian and Vegan Options around! They even have some comfy outdoor accommodations! The Staff is Phenomenal and allways succeeds in making customers feel At-Home. Will return and recommend to all my friends! Just make sure to grab a pastry or cheesecake slice on the way out!!! Its delicious! 5 Stars and 2 Thumbs Up!
Vibes are spooky and cozy and mysterious. Food is delicious ! Desserts are even better ! Lots of delicious drink options for vegans as well. My go to is a vegan strawberry milkshake with whipped cream (v). Indoor and outdoor seating. Pets allowed outside and they are VERY pet friendly :) my little guy once got a little pup cup. Service is always great. Sweet, attentive and just overall cool. This is one of my go to spots for late night grub 😋
My daughter and I went on a Saturday without a reservation. If you are more than two people DEFINITELY make a reservation! We got very lucky as the hostess was so helpful. We received a table outside in less than five minutes. The atmosphere is exactly what we were hoping for. The servers were all so happy and helpful. Everything came out quickly and was very yummy! Will or sure be going back again!
not ashamed of the amount of times i come here, it’s my go to spot. i love that they change the menu every few months based on what’s in season, until i love something so much and they don’t have it . it’s crazy that they say they are vegan cause you would’ve fooled me but i love variety and man do they have options! the coffee the tea the pastries the food and the atmosphere really do make this place what it is . the service is always so welcoming and friendly. the decor is what got me as soon as i walked in the first time, whimsical goth laid back and cozy . i couldn’t find all the pictures ive taken of my times there but there will be more to come !
Been coming here for a while, they do change up the menu from time to time. Food is great and vegan options. The best drink to get here is the revolution drink guys, you won’t regret. This place is expensive and they do add in the tip. Food is great and refreshing. Dark theme inside. Spooky vibes in a good way. Cozy couches. There isn’t parking so need to find that. Overall great food and great atmosphere. Servers can be a little rude with attitude.
Witches Brew serves vegan food and has tons of options for coffee, tea and drinks! Other items in their menu include appetizers, mains, salad, sandwiches and, of course, dessert. The decor is vintage and the interior is very different from a typical coffee house. The vibes work best if you're visiting in the evenings. I went there with my friend and she got the Mac n Cheese (not pictured), Vegan Brownie with Ice Cream and Green Tea. ☕ I got the Crème Brûlée (around $10) and the Pink Angel, which was an Iced Coffee with Strawberry-Vanilla flavors (around $8). Crème Brûlée is my absolute go-to and it tasted great here! 😋 Please also be mindful that this is a cash only place! 💸
The inside of this cafe is absolutely gorgeous with antique touches everywhere ! Looks as if you’re dining at someone’s house from the Victorian era. I must say I love their creme brûlée 10/10. Recently I went again and had their spinach dip which was also really good with just the right amount of cheese and spinach. I was not as pleased with their waffle and ice cream though they served it pretty nice simply because it wasn’t warm or taste fresh. The waffle was a bit too hard for my liking.
Went over for a late night adventure and snack and was totally worth it. Such a great atmosphere and aesthetic. It has such a cozy little vibe and I just love the interior design. The coffee drink was super sweet a flavor and they have so many different options to choose from, it was had to decide. We decided on getting the 6 cheese Mac n cheese as our late night snack and it was worth, so delicious. Definitely looking forward on coming back and trying more menu items. Just be mindful they’re cash only.
Love a good coffee shop! This location is on a level that I can get with! Ordered coffee and teas. The wait was well worth it. My dirty chai was phenomenally made! Lots to look at and enjoy! Didn’t get any food items, but there were several vegan pastries! It all looked amazing! Happy to pay the bill and support a small business. A fellow Melaleuca customer as well!! 🫶
I absolutely love this place, I wish they had more places like this on long island. I love going here for a sweet treat after dinner.
been coming to witches brew for years & it's truly an LI gem. the vibe is wholesome and so different from most restaurants and cafés around here. i've tried about 90% of the menu and can honestly say…
Always great service and good food and ambiance! I've been coming here since high school and I'm in my 30s now.

A halloween/spooky themed coffee shop???? Yes, this is real! Halloween lovers MUST come here. Its 100% worth it! When in the area, I found this on google and legit drove 20 minutes out of my way …
I am by no means a vegan or a vegetarian, so I was honestly happily surprised the food was so tasty. The dishes are big though they are definitely a bit pricey (particularly the desserts). The seating goes with the theme, and the place has a fun atmosphere. The downside is they only take cash (there is an atm there though. You'll have to pay the convenience fee). Also there's not a lot of parking.
I enjoyed coming here. I love that this place is vegan and offer so many options. The falafel sandwich with fries was tasty and delicious. I liked the Dublin coffee drink with the Irish cream. Hope to visit again and try the other coffee drinks. Just be aware that they only take cash, but overall very nice.
Dive in for different coffee experience , first time visiting and we had some amazing desserts and coffees , the menu is so vast and interesting you feel like ordering all of them !! The staff were amazing and very knowledgeable! Ask for suggestions and you won’t regret! Knocked out one star just because we couldn’t use card payment ! Please introduce card payment for added convenience!!
We ordered Mac and Cheese and a spring roll. The food was good, but the service needs improvement. The person who greeted us and took our order was great, but for the bill and payment, we didn’t have a great experience. They didn’t tell us about cash payments at first. We had cash, but that's worth mentioning before we ordered, and after paying, they didn’t give us any bill to check
I went there today and the food and the coffee was absolutely amazing. There was a really handsome guy at the door today wearing a Yankees hat who was really sweet and really friendly. He was so accommodating. He sat at a wonderful seat. The only reason I’m not giving this five stars is because our server with the short hair and tattooswas not friendly at all, he completely ignored us. He was muttering the F word underneath his breath. I don’t understand why he immediately hated us for some reason or acted like it he was did not ask us how the food was. He really could’ve cared less otherwise I would’ve given this place five stars but the guy with the Yankees had at the door is amazing and the food was amazing and the coffee was incredible. I will definitely be back. Hopefully, I get a different server.
really aesthetic place!! they really get the vibe, we sorta walked in through the side because we're sort of stupid so the guy looked kind of confused but we sat in really comfy chairs and the cutlery and stuff is really top tier. also the lights were pretty pretty. don't order dessert if you haven't eaten that day already, you might get a headache, I'm saying this because both of us got headaches, oop! anyway, the drinks were fancy and pretty, also this place is cash only so, but they do have an ATM machine. also very teeny tiny parking lot, so just thug it out on the street
I’ve been to Witches Brew at least three times now previously and the vibes are always immaculate. This last time however, the food left me with the worst stomach pains. I’m not entirely sure what happened, I ordered a chicken Cesar salad (which I had previously ordered and was fine) and a hot cocoa, although the hot cocoa wasn’t hot, but more of a warm cocoa. It didn’t bother me too much, but the clumps of chocolate at the bottom wouldn’t mix, so maybe that was it? I’m still trying to figure out what could’ve caused my stomach pain specifically. The drive back from Witches Brew was a nightmare!! I spent over 30 minutes with stomach pain and my stomach still hasn’t fully recovered from it ;_; Overall it’s a cute little place to go to, but I think next time I’m going to sit out on the food and just go for the vibes 😅
Best ever. I bring all my friends there. They love it too and they are not even vegan. It's just about the only vegan restaurant I would trust to eat at.
Food is great. Place is very popular so expect to wait on weekends and evenings sometimes. No credit cards so make sure you have enough cash on hand. Parking is street parking and can be inconvenient trying to find a spot close by.
Went with my daughter and really liked it! It's a fun place to go. You can either sit at a table or on a sofa, which was different. Eclectic design is fun and whimsical. It's vegan, and that's important to know before you go or else you might be let down. Wide variety of coffees, teas and desserts! I ordered the Mexican street corn which was great and the Mac and cheese. My daughter ordered french fries and the cauliflower which she enjoyed! The servings may be on the smaller size but still good. For dessert, we ordered vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and creme brulee with whipped cream which were delicious. Loved not feeling rushed to order or to finish and pay. Relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly, which is always a plus! The only thing is there is no parking lot for the establishment and you will have to look for street parking. Spent about $115 for the 2 of which I felt was a little pricy. Enjoy!
Truly a magical place. Highly recommend all their drinks. Had some issues with our party getting seated , but well worth the wait. Cash only. Limited Gluten Free options - chocolate cupcake was amazing!
I recently visited Witches Brew with my four cousins, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! We were a group of five, and although we didn’t have reservations, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away without any wait. The menu is full of unique and delightful coffee and tea options. I particularly loved the "Broomstick" – it was a standout! The creative drink names, like "Sugardaddy," added a fun, whimsical touch to the experience. We also ordered a few appetizers to share, and everything was delicious. The artichoke dip and nachos were especially amazing – definitely worth trying! The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for hanging out with friends, making it a great spot for a casual, enjoyable time. The only downside is that Witches Brew is cash-only, which is something to keep in mind. But honestly, that’s a small inconvenience compared to the overall experience. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a unique coffee house to enjoy with friends!

The positives: the espresso drinks are creative and tasty, and the ambience is delightful. Intentionally eclectic inn with an (obvious) spooky twist throughout. I got the falafel sandwich with fries which was solid, as well. Unfortunately, the positives ended there once we asked about navigating a peanut allergy. You’d think a vegan restaurant—where the whole premise exists because vegans know what it’s like to be left with no options—would show some effort, but our server’s attitude made it clear they had zero interest in accommodating a peanut allergy, and fine, if that’s your stance as an independent business then that’s your choice, but at least be upfront so people with life-threatening allergies know to stay away.
I used to come here so much during my collage days…. Haven’t been here in many years until now, but things basically haven’t changed here at all except the increased prices. 🦋 came here on a Thursday for lunch because that’s what the birthday boy requested. No wait. 🦋Nice location that’s very unique & authentic. Antique Gothic looking. 🦋 cash only! IT’s been like this for so many years…. It’s about time to make a change! 🦋 Vegan restaurant! ~ Vegan chicken sandwich was delicious! Highly recommend. ~Falafel sandwich was good only after realizing it wasn’t mixed well on top, but once you get to the falafel, it’s delightful. 🦋 great & extensive options for coffee and tea drinkers! 🦋 great dessert menu! The cheese cake was delicious! I personally didn’t enjoy the chocolate cake. Dissatisfied: 🦋so I mentioned earlier it was my friends birthday & I told the server. My friend thought I'd forgotten, so he said it privately to the waiter as well... but saying it's my birthday....(he apologized later). So the waiter put candles on the cake I chose, but that’s about it. So instead of one cake, we ended up with two by accident.... you would think, at least one of them would be on the house.... that would be nice, but no.... So thanks, but no thanks. 🦋 the bill, cash only as I mentioned earlier….but what threw me off was the 20% gratuity included…. Are you kidding me? Cash only, and you decide how much I should tip? Especially when we came here to celebrate a birthday…thanks but no thanks. 🦋 can’t make reservations, only wait list. 🦋lastly! No public wifi! ... oh my, so disappointing.
Witches Brew is a unique and quirky restaurant that stands out from the crowd. The decor is eclectic, with a fun and lively atmosphere. The menu offers a range of creative dishes, but the execution can be hit-or-miss. Some dishes were flavorful and well-presented, while others fell short. The service was friendly, but rushed at times. Overall, Witches Brew is a decent spot for a fun night out with friends or a date.
The food was pretty good and well prepared. I ordered a take out order of Hummus & Pita, Falafel Sandwich, and Charred Brussel Sprouts. A couple of critiques: 1. The prices on their google page and online menu are outdated. Some of the prices were off by 30 to 40%. 2. The cash only policy should be clearly marked on their website. 3. I was surprised by the 10% takeaway service charge.
I would buy the brownie cheesecake all the time and would buy several. It was 7$ for a slice which is high enough, now $11 for a slice of brownie cheesecake is criminal. Way too overpriced. Such a shame. I no longer have a reason to go there as much as I did
The atmosphere is beautiful but I found the service people standoffish and kinda rude. The food is way too expensive for what you get. This salad is $15, and it’s just greens, onions, and cranberries. They also fail to mention its cash only until you get the bill and they automatically apply 20% gratuity.

We were told that a 20% gratuity was required and that leaving our usual 10–15% tip was “unacceptable.” We were also told not to return if we could not leave the 20% tip. Overall, the way we were spoken to felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially given that I have been a customer since 2016 and have recommended this place to so many people over the years. Haven’t been here in a while since the army but yeah very disappointing.
Our experience at this restaurant was, unfortunately, far from satisfactory. After a 75minutes wait for seating (which was fine), we waited an additional 10-12 minutes before anyone approached our table. We placed an order for 1 Gnocchi, 1 sandwich, and a dessert (which was displayed on the shelf). It took approximately 18-20 minutes for the Gnocchi and sandwich to arrive. As we were finishing our meal, we politely reminded the server about the dessert, thinking it may have been forgotten. His response, delivered in an unpleasant tone, was that it was on hold and not to worry. Moments later, he returned to inform us that the dessert we ordered had not been held and was sold to someone else. This lack of professionalism and accountability was disappointing. We ultimately settled for a simple brownie instead. After finishing the brownie, we signaled for the check. The server clearly saw our request but ignored it, walking past us. It took a second attempt and a lengthy delay before the check was finally brought to the table. To our surprise, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill, which felt unjustified given the poor service we received. To make matters worse, we were informed at this point that the restaurant only accepts cash payments, a policy that was neither communicated upfront nor posted anywhere. We were directed to use their in-house ATM, which dispenses only $20 bills, charges a $2 withdrawal fee, and resulted in an additional $3 fee later. For instance, if your bill is $51 and you didn’t have cash on hand, you would end up withdrawing $60, effectively overpaying unless you demand the balance. When I requested change for the overpaid amount, the server, in an irritated tone, told me to return to my table and wait. After an additional 5-minute delay, he finally returned with the change, slamming it on the table in a rude and unprofessional manner and a thank you. The only redeeming qualities of this establishment were the atmosphere and the lighting, both of which were pleasant. However, the service experience was deeply disappointing, especially for a place that automatically charges 20% gratuity. I would not recommend this restaurant based on this encounter.
The food was insanely overpriced for what you get. Not only was the burger meatless, It was not good at all and left my stomach aching. I find it crazy I paid as much for a meatless burger as I do for a burger with meat. On top of that the restaurant automatically applied a 20% tip on the bill this will definitely be my last time visiting.
DISCLAIMER: There are no meat options here for those who think they do, expect mostly vegan options. Forgot to mention Cash Only so bring some if you’re willing to try out. Ordered 1 Gnocchi, 1 Alfredo, 1 cup of tea, 1 coffee and 1 cocoa and the bill turned out to be 73 bucks WITH 20% GRATUITY INCLUDED. Gnocchi and Alfredo was decent but the drinks are beyond atrocious. The coffee tasted like turpentine and the cocoa was made out of Hershey’s syrup and you can tastes it. Service wise I’ve never seen a restaurant where it took us 10 minutes to get a table after we’ve waited for 1/2 an hour. Reason being? They gotta put down the menu first before they provide you utensils. Later on I asked an idiotic question of whether or not I can substitute with a meat option because I didn’t think it through and thought there are meat options from reading the Chicken Caesar wrap, but thank you for being offended from asking if I can replace a vegan bacon with actual bacons, and replied with “there’s no meat on this menu” as if I’m a murderer. After the requested items have been served, I have never seen the waiter checking by and see if my table needs anything more nor even tried to refill our water. At the end I was trying to wave for my table’s check, and a waiter on white shirt saw me eye to eye, and proceeded to WALK BY US without even asking what do we need! That’s some fantastic services right there, totally deserves the mandatory 20% gratuity. The food’s portions are also not worth 17 bucks, which barely even fills a normal woman’s stomach. 100% would not recommend.
This place is not accommodating to nut allergies at all. When I politely told the server that I had a nut allergy, he acted almost offended and irritated. He gave me no options or suggestions on what to eat. I surely couldn't be the first ever customer with a nut allergy to walk into this restaurant, so I was really surprised that he would not have offered any suggestions. I ended up just having a coffee and it was fine. A lot of hype for the spooky vibes but not worth it.
I'm giving this one star because the horrible service completely overshadowed the amazing food and beautiful decorations. The experience was a series of letdowns from start to finish: • There were no spicy flakes for the Thai Spicy Curry, as they were out of stock. • I asked for water, but it was never brought to the table. • A server spilled tea while cleaning up, and a new cup never arrived after I requested one. • We waited 30 minutes for our dessert. When I finally asked the front desk, they explained that a new server had taken over and our order was never placed. It took another 17 minutes for the dessert to finally arrive. To make matters worse, a 20% tip was automatically included for our party of three, regardless of the poor service. Overall, our meal—which was only a main course and dessert—took three hours.
