Great food and amazing service. They don't begin to cook your burgers until AFTER the order has been submitted so it's guaranteed fresh. Also pro tip, if you order a shake first and get your receipt you'll see you get free fries on next order. So just step back in line and order a burger along with the receipt to redeem your fries.

What’s not to LOVE at Fatburger. The burgers are hands down the BEST in L.A! I recommend the King Burger. It is a 1/2 pound burger made with 100% pure lean beef the burger is grilled to perfection and build to order. Served on a freshly toasted sponge dough bun. For a very small charge you definitely should treat yourself and ADD bacon to your masterpiece burger, you won’t be sorry. I always Add a side of “Homemade” which is the name for their onion rings. They’re definitely homemade cooked to order and delicious. Last but not least a thick creamy milkshake. Which is also made to order with real hand scooped ice cream. The turkey burgers are great but, for something different, there’s the “Impossible Burger” which is plant-based. Fatburger, keeps it Fat, always fresh and forever delicious.

The stop saying fat tip when you tip if you were expecting that experience they are not wit it saying it any more. The sweet potato fries are cut into wedges and like a zig zag fries . Anyway they are delicious. Ketchup machine outside and they serve ranch with order if you want banana peppers just ask or 1000 island. They have a bathroom key up in front for on the go people. It take time to make because they fry it up fresh if you can wait too bad. Its at 15 minutes for lead time when they call you out. At night it is well lit and parking is for 1 hour free just pull up. Watch out for traffic because there be broke people honking in mercedes and swerving and dipping into traffic

I freaking love Fatburger. I wish I could go back. It took me while I was homeless through their PayPal abilities. You can get food through eat 24 and my mom was able to pay for food for me. It was also very nice that they helped me and my ex who was very rude to them. But they handled it professionally and we're very kind

The FatBurger in the Great City of West Hollywood! I just tried the "Impossible Burger" a gluten soy based burger that holds its own with the beef burger in all flavor aspects. NOT at all overstating this because in the past meat substitute burgers were NOT able to convince me that I'm eating beef, this one did! Their Turkey and Garden burgers are very good but, the flavor is quite different than beef so it didn't work as well as a beef replacement as the "Impossible Burger" does. The great people and service is what I have come to expect from West Hollywood with FatBurger meeting this high standard. FatBurger was founded in 1947 by Lovie Yancey, an African American Woman who beat the odds in succeeding in the face of serious racism and gave back to the community many times over.

This location was very clean and the service was incredible. Rosa waited on me and was friendly and helpful. I ordered an impossible burger and she thoughtfully recommended the non-dairy cheese (good choice!). The manager was also working behind the counter, and was so personable and thorough with preparing my order. It was a miserable, hot day and I stopped here on my way home, and so glad I chose this location. Just that extra little bit of hospitality and customer service makes a huge difference. And despite the traffic on my way home, the food was still delicious!

We’re visiting Los Angeles and it was a must to stop for an infamous Fatburger. The online pickup process was really easy. I had a hungry party of 4 with me and we thought it would be crowded so we ordered ahead. When we arrived, our food was ready at the time they promised and it was was hot and fresh. The guys working were all really friendly and it was a great first time for my family (I had been there before). The food didn’t even make it home because they ate it too fast in the car! Right on, Fatburger!

Great customer service is so rare these days and I would never expected it at a FatBurger. Janet, especially is so bubbly and attentive to customers. Love the sweet potato fries! It does get pretty hot inside on warm days but sitting at the tables outside is nice, plus there’s never a dull moment on Santa Monica Blvd so there’s always something entertaining to see. I had such a pleasant experience this afternoon at this Fat burger. My nephew took me out to lunch for my Birthday. He is from the east Coast and never heard of Fat Burger. We was greeted by Luz the cashier. When she heard it was my she told the rest of the team and everyone wished me a happy birthday. To my surprise after our food was brought to us the Fat Burger team came out Luz, Audelia and Nury with ice cream with a lovely pile of whipped cream and a candle on top singing Happy Birthday. It was so kind and just made my day. So if you want to have some tasty food, have great service and meet some really good people stop by Fat Burger on Santa Monica in Hollywood. I am definitely going back.

The food here was crazy good! The fat fries and onion rings were both really tasty and fresh and crispy. The skinny fries and sweet potato fries were also good. The impossible burger was hecka good and you can’t even tell that it’s not real meat. The inside of the restaurant feels a bit old and dated. The door to the patio is a bit broken and the place seems a little dark and dirty. But the food and service is amazing and I would come back here any time for a cheeseburger and some fries.

This was the first time that I visited this location ... and I will be back. It's a little difficult to drive to in the parking lot ... seeing it from the road lets you plan for it. I ordered the Kingburger with cheese, (a larger Fatburger,) with Fat Fries. I had my travel mug so I didn't order a drink ... I soon regretted it because their Lemonade is awesome. Burger and fries were brought to the table, and each was delicious. I was told that the previous management apparently didn't spend the time needed in building up the business and taking care of customers. Marvin advised that is not the case now ... and from what I've seen, the experience, the food, the environment and employees all are working together to ensure my satisfaction. Can't wait to try some of the other items next time.

I got an order of skinny chili cheese fries. Love it! I ate the whole thing! update: 02/11/2021 I changed the rating from a 4 to a 5 because I finally tried their XXL burger, shakes, onion rings, and fat fries. Everything is amazing at this place! The burger is definitely the star. The meat isn't greasy at all and it's filled with flavor! The relish they put in the burger has an amazing taste and adds a nice textural contrast. Onion rings are crispy and flavorful as well! Fat fries are crunchy on the outside with a creamy center. Make sure to get a side of their home-made mayonnaise! It is super tasty! Milk shakes are super thick and take me back to childhood.

I was in L.A. celebrating my birthday and of course I had to visit Fat Burger...and this location was pretty close to my hotel. Absolutely love this place. The stuff was friendly and the food was great. The restroom was a little out dated but at least it was clean.

I love their chili dog! They are the only company that warms the bun. Any other place where I’ve bought a chili dog, they have given it to me with a cold bun. That said, almost $6 for a small chili dog is a lot to pay. I would go everyday if not for this fact.

Nice that there's a choice betwixt vegetarian and non vegetarian. A good place to go if yer tired of all the standard everyday eateries such as McDonald's, Wendy's, Jack in the box, etc., and are willing to fork over the extra dough. They try to prepare the burgers as you like em. But try to avoid getting them with cheese. Not only does it cause health problems, but they upcharge you one whole dollar for it! Be sure to look on yer receipt to make sure you weren't upcharged for cheese by mistake!

The food here it's always great! I love the skinny fries and I really appreciate that they have impossible meat so that I can eat here with my vegetarian boyfriend. I wish that their onion rings were panko battered instead of that terrible batter they use that falls off of the onions. Ordered the Original fatburger. It’s a juicy 1/3 lb beef patty with a nice pickle layer and mustard on top. The large tomato slice was ice cold on top balancing a warmth to this burger when you bite into this immediately after being served. The shredded lettuce is not too loose on top and the mayo is fairly light on top. The size of the original fatburger is adequate and you can increase the size or add other add-ons too if you like. This is a nice fast food option to have if you’re in the area. The staff here are friendly and efficient with orders. The foot traffic is not busy during off peak hours. Plenty of seating inside and out. Small parking lot but just enough spaces.

I was excited to try this place but my god was I disappointed and dissatisfied. For the price they’re charging I expected way better flavor and quality but did not get that. Will never go back. Much rather spend my money elsewhere. Shake was nice though and staff was lovely.

The Asian woman that was working the cash register was extremely rude and unprofessional to me when I came in to pick up a Postmates order last night. Belittling a customer in a restaurant full of people, about the potential theft my order, while leaving the order sitting right in front of her on the counter for one minute while I made drinks is absolutely the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in any restaurant, or anywhere else for that matter. The only reason I'm giving two stars as apposed to one is because the food was actually ready to go when I got there. When usually there's about a twenty minute wait each time I've picked up from this location. To add, there was five people behind the counter, three of which appeared to be working while the other two were standing there idle, so I'm not sure why delivery drivers are tasked with making the drinks for the orders that we pick up? When there is clearly enough staff to be able to make an occasion to-go drink.

I don’t appreciate how I’m a DoorDash driver I came to pick up something and there was a person waiting in line he couldn’t make up his mind what he wanted all I wanted was some fries to pick up with the DoorDash order and the lady made me get in the back of the line even though the guy was not ready to order he was still looking at the menu and I knew what I wanted. I felt like that was total disrespect she needs a coaching opportunity and I’m very disappointed with how she handled things so no I did not get any french fries I barely want to do the DoorDash after that

GROSS! I do not reccomend buying food from here. The workers do not change their gloves and use the same pair to touch EVERYTHING including your raw and cooked food! I watched as 2 employees casually left the cooking area, opened a couple doors, got some free soda from the dispenser, fix their hair, scratch their face, wipe off counters and then return to their cooking station all while wearing the same pair of gloves! YUCK! I spoke with the manager, but he had difficulty understanding that the gloves are to keep the food clean NOT just keep his employees hands clean. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN.

I was coming here around four times a week because of the convenience of the location. From messed up orders to irate employees I won't ever be going back. Big hint. Don't order anything online. Because the prices and menu are completely different. And the employees will blame you for it. Definitely don't order a drink online because you will buy a large soda and then be forced to take a can from the store for 3$. Overall a continuous disappointing experience. If the establishment is having trouble with third party apps like Postmates, then they need to take that up with Postmates and not blame the customers. A horrible experience! There is one star because I couldn't give zero stars. I ordered my lunch online, and when I went to pick up I was told it was not ready and they had no order. The person behind the counter was screaming at me. I tried showing them my receipt, and they refused to review the receipt. I left the place with no lunch, yet I had paid for the order. I want my money back! They get zero stars and a thumbs down!

Was there 4/1/17 and got an awesome burger. I got a receipt with free fries to use within 2 weeks. Went today and used receipt/ coupon for free fries. I ordered medium burger with cheddar cheese and added onion rings on burger. Checked receipt to make sure it was my order. Got home and they gave me potato wedges, not fries...which I threw away. The burger bun stale. There was no cheese or onion rings in burger and they cooked the hell out of the burger. 20 minutes waiting for order. Serves me right...should have ate the salad I had at home.

I ordered a double burger on a wheat bun with thousand island dressing and skinny fries. I instead got chili cheese fries and two patties cooked to an absolute crisp surrounding tomato and mayo. No bun. Just beef that could pass as cardboard, a tomato slice, and mayo. I wouldn’t wish this meal on anyone.

The guy who works here was rude. He went outside and was cursing at people who parked in the parking lot, but went elsewhere. The food was bad. Ordered my food and after waiting 20 minutes, I asked for a refund. The cook said "no, I'll start your order right away". I explained that I had already been waiting 20 minutes and I did not want to wait any longer. I demanded a refund. They first told me that they don't do refunds. I then insisted on a refund and the counter person told me there's only two of us working here. You should know you have to wait. I said waiting 20 minutes before my order is even prepared is ridiculous. If you were that far behind schedule, you should have told me before I placed my order. The cashier scoffed at me and said " okay, you're refunded". He didn't ask for my credit card nor did he ask me to tap my credit card. He said don't worry, it'll just go back on your original card. I said well that I'd at least like a receipt showing that. He handed me a receipt that just said zero on it. I asked him for a receipt showing the transaction had been reversed and he refused to do so. He told me if you don't get your money back in a couple of days just sue us and laughed at me. I still haven't received my refund, and when I called in today to inquire about it I got told "Please hold" and then they hung up on me. Don't go here. Not only do they not prepare your food, but they're happy to scam you and steal your money. I really hate the prospect of having to go to small claims court to get back $25, but I might have to do just that. These people are criminals!

I’ve been coming here for years, but after my last visit I will never be back. I actually watched the worker lick his fingers while making my shake, then stick those same fingers directly into the cup to add whipped cream — with no gloves. Completely unsanitary and disgusting. On top of that, I tipped $5 and they still charged me extra for a single ranch (50 cents). The new staff are extremely rude, barely speak English, constantly mess up orders, and clearly have no regard for cleanliness or customer service. This place has gone completely downhill, and it’s a shame because I used to really enjoy coming here.

I never had a problem over the years with any of their food. However, I had the worst chicken sandwich. It looked nothing like the advertised picture. I complained to the manager and he was kind enough to make good on it, and give me credit to order whatever I wanted which resolved it but don't order their chicken sandwich.
