We had the opportunity to get some good fried seafood at The Weathervane in W. Lebanon the week of 01Sep25. Megan was our server, and she was great! She helped us out with the menu, and also helped with a special request at the end of our meal. I had the fried seafood combo and my wife had the fried half-and-half. Both were cooked perfectly and were delicious. We enjoyed the food and the great service.

Indiana boy here, wanting to try some New England lobster for the first time. This place did not disappoint! We got the shrimp cocktail, a lobster roll, and a full boiled lobster. It was easier to crack open and eat then I thought! They give you the cracking tool, a bib, and a moist towelette. I almost left without getting dessert, and boy would I have regretted that! I wouldn't have guessed, but this place has the best cheesecake I have ever had! The white chocolate blueberry cobbler cheesecake was absolutely incredible. Thanks to Dani for some awesome service!

Went the day before Thanksgiving our waiter was attentive polite and on top of everything. Really enjoyed the meal me and my wife had for our 3 year met anniversary and started dating... We drove over a hour from Burlington vt area... But def worth the wait the drive and spending time with my love. We will be back and def will recommend any and all weathervanes establishments

Weathervane did not disappoint! The restaurant was busy for mid afternoon and like everywhere, short staffed, but the wait was short and our server was on top of everything. The whole belly clams were some of the best we've ever had and the complimentary cup of fish chowder was full of flavor and fish! Kudos to the staff for maintaining quality food and service with the limited staff!

The fresh clamp strips, shrimp, and fish were fried in fresh oil. Nice and light not heavily saturated. Very good quality for price paid. Service was very good with prompt drinks, appetizers, and re-visit to check on quality and beverage refills. Friendly and prompt. Wait staff were friendly but lacked service. Received an overloaded plate of fried shrimp, scallops, and one square fish fillet they pass off as haddock along with frozen fries. Then was left multiple bottles of condiments on the table without anywhere to put them for dipping any of the food, didn't even offer a small plate or cup for this. Can barely see through the windows, covered in splatters and fingers smudges. Asked for boxes for what we had left of our food, once received the waitress ran off. Took another 15-20 minutes for the check to come out. Really disappointed in the previously frozen "fish".

We arrived for a late lunch after 1:30 and were seated immediately. My wife ordered the lobster pie and I had the lobster roll. The food showed in reasonable time. The lobster pie wasn't anything she was expecting. Myblobster roll was on the greasy side, maybe too much butter? Adding to that pieces of shell mixed in with the lobster meat. The booth we were seated at was very hot, even with the shade downed. Thats when I noticed the flying insects, not houseflies, something else, between the blinds and windows. This killed my appetite. Honestly, we just weren't impressed with Weathervane. The prices were higher when compared to more upscale locations. The food tasted okay, but that was it.

I don’t know if they had a bad day, but basically all items had a same problem- they weren’t FRESH. Started with beer, which tasted like it was poured an hour ago. Kid got side of oranges. In two mins server came back and said they have to replace those and brought us a new ones. Then the main meals. Coleslaw was stinky and tasted sour. Burger was cold. Lobstah was kinda ok but probably not fresh too. Except chowda all items seemed past due. And its not cheap, the price is comparable to upscale restaurants. We wont be coming back

Today was a disappointing lunch we waited extra long all tables sat after us were served before us.Then when the food came one order completely wrong.So the server told us manager wanted wrong food back .Which for one what were they going to do with it reserve it? I ate and my lunch partner watched. No sorry not a thing was said. I asked for our appetizer to be given to us because of the inconvenience. The food was way too salty,meagerly portioned and terrible not to mention outrageously expensive. Drinks are watered down and full of ice. Other than that it's a great place. Come with Deep Pockets and a small appetite, you'll have the time of your life. If I didn't leave my phone in the car I would have taken pictures of the tiny lobster pie for $40 with barely any Lobster. The so-called baked Seafood combo had barely any Lobster and it was overcooked and tasted like a salt lick I believe it was one claw a small piece of haddock 3 or 4 bay scallops and three stuffed shrimp buried in stuffing. Then they had the balls to charge extra for the onions and mushrooms on the sirloin tips. Update: they were so quick to say they were willing to address the issue but when we emailed them we haven't received a response and it's been 3 days. They should just close down like the rest of the weathervanes in the area.

I arrived at 4 pm on 10/29 my friend joined me at 415 the waitress in the bar took out drink order then we sat for almost 25 minutes she was chatting with patrons at the bar she then came and said sorry I forgot you we asked about order the 1/2 off apps and she said sorry it is 508 so it is too late we explained that we had been there in plenty of time she would not budge and was not nice about it we refused to order our dinner as we had planned on a nice dinner we paid for drinks and went elsewhere you last out on a 50-60 dollar meal. She should have been paying attention to all patrons I want some to contact me I frequent this Restaurant however this is making it hard for me to want to return poor customer service

Came on a Tusday night. Place was empty. Helped a friend move and stoped here for dinner. Was my first time ever. I got the lobster. It had a strong metal taste to it. I figured it was due to getting my covid and flu shot two days before and that’s why it had a metallic taste. Well it wasn’t I was borderline hospitalized from heavy metal poisoning the doctors described. Not good!
