Bogies/Louie's in Westlake Village is a popular spot for live music, dancing (especially salsa on Wednesdays), and events. Many praise the atmosphere, especially the outdoor patio. Some find it crowded, with limited seating and poor air circulation in the nightclub.

The Terrace is a fun place for an outdoor bite to eat. Food was excellent. I highly recommend the Calamari starter. MacKenzie is an awesome server. She helped in drawing us back twice in one week.
I have frequent and Bogy’s for many years… They moved from place to place but the atmosphere stayed the same and the people were always friendly and loving… I love going to Bogy’s on Saturday nights for ladies night and I love meeting with my friends for dinner there… We’re treated with respect and kindness and there’s a very good group of people hanging with me and keeping me safe… I will always love Bogy’s
Fun atmosphere inside beautiful scenery on the outside. A very popular venue with phenomenal food during the day. If you ever want to have fun in the Conejo Valley during the weekend; this is the place.
Salsa classes on Wednesdays. It begins at 6:30 pm. It costs $15 for three lessons. The bartender Eric is always awesome and the food is top notch.
The venue is awesome, the decor of the whole Center is amazing, the hotel is adorable, and the help treat you very well. I love this place. I like the food and I love the music. It's not even close to my house but I like going all the way out to Westlake Village and checking out Bogie's when I get a chance.
We saw Billy Vera there quite some time ago. Would go again. Anyway was a great venue. Also net Richard Roundtree who's a friend of Billy. Any show there would great. The food was excellent as well, the show was after a dinner.
Wednesday's night is Salsa ,awesome time for dancing and socializing with fellow dance enthusiasts
Bogies is my new favorite place! I have fun, great music. beautiful setting, staff is good! I have knowledgeable friends who go there been attending now for the last 6 months
Super fun, gorgeous venue and fair prices
Had lots of fun with the cousins and our hubbies. Hadn’t had a night like that in a very long time. I wasn’t even drinking and truly enjoyed the time, the atmosphere and the place.
Great evening club for dancing great for all ages over 21
Place is good to chill and dancing
Gorgeous setting, amazingly beautiful decor, and exceptional food and service. This place knocks it out of the park for creating an experience that is unforgettable. Later in the evening it turns into a fun night club vibe. If you prefer a quieter setting, though, just go earlier for the happy hour around 5. Perfect for date night or catching up with friends.
What a great experience. Spent a friday late night here in mid February. The bartender made amazing boozy drinks (an old fashioned for me), and the food was delicious and we had a chance to order even though the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. I like the vibe: fire pit with surrounding cushions, heating lamps, twinkling lights, dancefloor inside and pristine bathroom. Will be back here when I'm back in the area
Eric H. Is the most amazing bartender, his sweet and humble personality is spot on! Keeper
I go here on Wednesdays for Salsa and Bachata dancing. The venue is high class and clean. Especially the bathrooms. The atmosphere is elegant and the outside patio overlooks a pond. Nelson is an employee who is particularly sweet and should be recognized for his kindness.

Affordable and enjoyable Happy Hour. Nice piano bar with live music, patio dinning as well over looking the lake.
Louie's in Westlake Village is a charming dining destination! The atmosphere on the outdoor patio is inviting and enjoyable, making it a perfect spot for a lovely Sunday dinner. The appetizers we tried were tasty, especially the fire feta and the quesadillas, which were flavorful and satisfying. For the main course, the swordfish and steak were cooked to perfection. We also savored great cocktails and appreciated the expansive wine menu, offering a variety of options to complement our meal. Overall, Louie's is a fantastic choice for a memorable dining experience!
Great venue for food and music. True School Allstars is one of the best groups in the business. We will definitely be at Louie's whenever they play.
Louie's is such a great community partner. They hosted Agoura High School's Football Moms night out, which was such a hit!! The ambiance was superb and so beautiful. Felt like we were in the Mediterranean. The service was excellent, food delicious and drinks on par!! Would highly recommend. Such a great space to grab dinner, get cocktails or host an event.
Club Louie's in Westlake Village is a gem! Their 'Saturday Nights Rock at Louie's' brings amazing tribute bands that are often better than the originals—pure magic to see top-notch live music in an intimate setting. Club Louie's has an upscale feel, but the food and drink prices are totally reasonable. Saturday nights are awesome: happy hour from 5-7, tribute bands from 7-9, then a DJ club scene from 9 till late. Highly recommend!
Tried Louie’s the first time Friday night with a buddy. Got there early. Great space. Ate at the bar. Atmosphere is pretty cool. Manhattan was made perfectly. Had the beef and pork meatballs Arrabiata which were outstanding– the perfect amount of bite to the sauce and very tender but dense meatballs. Also tried the yellowtail Crudo and the ahi Crudo. The ahi was good, the yellowtail was excellent. Chris and Eric were great bartenders. Would definitely come back again. Future date spot with the wife.
Bogie's is a great place to hang out with friends and watch some A+ live music. The food quality/plating size/price ratio is solid. I mean you get a good amount of food for a fair price. My only improvement suggestion would be to offer more options with the items you have on the menu. For instance you have a margarita pizza, but you could add pepperoni to the menu as it is just one additional ingredient or some options to the hamburger. Overall a really great hang and solid service.
Fun place with outdoor patio and indoor dance floor. Music is for 20's and 30's crowd. $10 cover in Jan 2018. Nice place/ambiance. But not real dance music for 40's and over crowd.
My wife and I went for the first time on a Wednesday night for our date night. We were impressed with the ambience and the fact that there were good heating lamps outside to allow us to get some fresh air. Inside there was Salsa night and they had a great lesson followed by open Latin dancing. My only two complaints is that the company running the dancing only took cash and so I had to go out and find an ATM. Who really carries cash anymore? The other complaint is that the Dance Floor was too small and there was a guy who stepped on my wife's foot
Its a cool spot with reasonably priced drinks, the atmosphere is nice too. This place does take itself way too seriously though. For a club next to a hotel all the way out in Conejo Valley, charging a $20 cover fee and having a VIP line? A bit much.
Nice place - dress well! Order 2 drinks at a time because the wait at the bar is long. Fun dance floor. Get ready to elbow the creeps who grab your ass as you walk by though.
If this was 10 years ago I would probably love this place. I liked it enough, but not my current vibe.
A bit loud but fun for all did not order food. All in all space for many groups to party!!!! Parking was a challenge. Nice location, beautiful setting outside and staff very friendly.
Nice intimate atmosphere. Seats for the concert were pretty uncomfortable. The waitstaff was very friendly but the service had a hard time moving us from the patio to the venue area. Show was fun if you are into that sort of thing.
Nice place to listen to music. Keep checking upcoming events and you might just catch Albert Lee, which is what we did. Some nights there is dance music but cannot tell much other than the dance floor is nice. Bar is very good with nice variety of wines, beer, and cocktails
First time here as we just moved to the area and were looking for a place with a decent DJ and Bogies fit the bill. Drink prices are fair and the overall vibe was good! My only issue that has me deducting one star was the outdoor patio bartender was in the weeds and she seemed to know it thus sending customers inside thus we never were able to get a drink out there. Luckily the inside bartenders were quick and attentive
Awesome bar. More like a upscale nightclub I’d actually call it. I enjoy the food. Can’t go wrong with any dish here. They don’t carry “Cardinal” wine but they carry other dry wines as well. The valet is ran like the casinos in Vegas if you ask me and the team members at Bogies are well respectable and manner-able. They strive to keep the environment free from hate, drama, or violence. They keep up good morals and values at this place. Bring your friends or your family any night it’s lit except for Monday’s. Beautiful scenery, can host parties, proposals, get togethers, dinner with a spouse or soon to be, or just go alone and see what an enjoyable night you’ll have. The owners and manager are very organized and well spoken.
Haven eaten here but my friends like the crowd and dancing. I went for the DJ and dancing but was not able to get in due to the dress code. had a cap on as I had a minor surgery on my head I was trying covering up. Make sure to check the dress code before you go.
After a decade away from clubs, I checked out this Westlake Village spot. Surprisingly, the dance floor wasn't overly crowded, and as the night progressed, it thinned out a bit. The playlist, in my opinion, was 5/10, but despite that, we had a good time. As a non-drinker, I was slightly disappointed by the lack of non-alcoholic wine options. The $10 cover charge was reasonable, and the complimentary coat check was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there was an option to enjoy drinks inside and outside bars. Bonus points for free parking in their lot!
I cannot rate the food because I've never eaten here. But if you are looking for a nice place to dance salsa and bachata on Wednesdays this is absolutely your venue! The drinks are reasonably priced and always served with a smile. The people that come to dance are super nice and the ages range from 20s to 80s most of us I think 40s and 50s.
Listen I love Louie’s I’m their best customer butttttt please get a new DJ I hear the same 20 songs everytime I’m there it’s like 2012 club music please get a young n turnt DJ to come up in there and play some more rap and hip hop and good music from this era 😫 everytime I hear that one DJ playing that wack music I order my uber to Tipsy Goat 🫣🫣. Also if they marketed the nightclub to younger generation they’d get great business but for some reason they loveeeee to cater to the cougars but just saying 🤷♀️ the potential is there.
I liked this bar. It has nice view out towards the Golf Course area. Attended a wedding reception here and the ourdourvs and food were really good.
My friends and I visited Louie's for the first time for dinner and then for the Rush tribute show. I tried the Caesar salad, spaghetti pomodoro and the margherita pizza. They tasted ok but not great enough for me to order again. I also had the LOUIE’S MARTINI that had lychee in it. Wished it was sweeter, as it tasted mostly tart. Hubs enjoyed their fish tacos. Service was a little slow. The outdoor dining was nice and overlooked the pond. After dinner, we went into the nightclub that had live entertainment to see a Rush tribute band. It was good, music was decent. Overall, unless there was an amazing band playing, I'm not inclined to return as I wasn't really impressed. The items on the menu looked great but it tasted just ok. I prefer the food at Stonehaus, which is 2 doors down.
Bogies has changed over time and I’ve been coming for over 12 years and seen the evolution. Coming in as vista terrace is great and so beautiful plus friendly staff. As bogies it does get jam packed and hectic, limited place to sit and even stand. Space is too small for the amount of people that come in, cabanas and seating areas get pricy. As more people come in later when it’s bogies, the quality of service goes down due to crowding.
I have only been here for happy hour, so take this all with a reduced price grain of salt... The selection is decent, with a handful of drink specials and almost two handfuls of food options. That being said, the end results are not super impressive--there is a heavyness to all the food and drink. The extensive outdoor seating and quirky layout make for a chill evening and good people watching, though.
This place is great on Saturday, mixed crowd, great DJ and music, but what you have to watch out for is the shady bartenders. I've visited this place 4 times, and 2 out of the 4 times, I was charged for drinks I didn't order. The 1st time, the bartender credited it back, but the 2nd time, the bartender was a joke, try to swear to me, I had gotten the drink, not so, but know better now. Highly recommend u take cash, or sign your credit after each purchase, if you chance leaving your credit open, check your receipt thoroughly.
Unless you are planning to spend lots of $$$ you won't find a place to sit. Music can be a hit or miss. Used to be a cool place to hang out with various groups, but now the layout is only for if the entire group wants to spend on bottle service, which is difficult if not previously planned and pre-paid as a group.
Loud dance music. No place to sit unless you have table service. At least you can smoke a cigar outside, even though you get nasty looks! Haha! Locals call it the "wrinkle room". You have 60-70's and then 20-30's. Very interesting age ranges!
First all parking entrances are blocked to charge you $10 fee to just self park yourself. Then $20 admission fee to enter the club. So if you want just to enter and get out, costs you $30. On a Saturday night there were mostly bunch of guys and gals in separated groups that danced together girls with girls and so as guys in a fairly small dance floor. No seats available on the bar. I had to stand all the time. Not fun at all for me.
Bogie’s is like a Jack of all trades but master of none! The music us all over the place… definitely variety. It kind of sucks because the DJ will finally put on a song you love (for me… 90s/2000s R&B) but by the time you walk to the dance floor he changes it… ya like 10-15 seconds! He’ll completely change genres and you’re no longer interested. A good DJ knows to play 3-5 songs of one genre to get dancer to work up a sweat then switch. They go to the bar while you cater to the next group. You increase sales & please a diverse crowd. Thus one needs some help!
This is nice, fun place to hangout with friends. Good cocktails menu, friendly staff, nice outdoor patio with fire pits. But you really need to improve your music for the dance club, look for a better DGs! With good music it can be a very popular place.
We came to this bar during a birthday party on Thursday night. The schedule said something like 7pm Country Dance classes and after 9pm DJ. We missed the country classes and came around 9-10pm. Bar was pretty much empty, $10 cover charge, club section was a bit more alive and a few people dancing. What I liked: - Plenty of places to sit and no one bothers you - Water right on the bar, you can just grab a cup and don't bother waiting for the bartender. - Music was ok, pop & hip-hop vibes. - DJ was kind of nice? Idk, my friend had a birthday and I asked him to play a birthday song for her, something hip-hoppy, well, I don't know his playlist, he decided to play "birthday b**tch". My friend wasn't super excited about the song, it was awkward, I'm not sure if she was offended, I guess the suggestion would be getting more appropriate birthday songs? What can be improved: So I assume regulars that live nearby come to dance classes at 7pm and stay to dance after. We weren't from the area and didn't come to class but were looking forward to dancing later since I assumed there will be DJ & free dance time. Surprisingly, DJ played only a handful of country songs the rest was pop and other fun beats. Buuuuut... The dance floor was fully taken by the regulars and staff that were dancing country dance following these fun pop beats. A pop song will start, DJ will count 3-4-5-6-7! And the regulars would start dancing their routine on the dance floor taking it over with no space for others to dance. So it was a bit awkward for us (or at least for me) because we didn't know the steps and I think it's impossible to pick up a totally new routine (or routines, multiple songs all night long) right away unless you're a professional dancer and we were not. We tried to follow steps, bumped into regulars doing their perfect routine steps, failed, and started dancing our own thing, felt awkward going against the "regulars crowd" and what was even more awkward - we were pushed right to the entrance where people come to sit or go in/out of the club. Not much space and very awkward space with people coming and exiting. Also, some people behind us were sitting at the tables and trying to see how the regulars dance and we were blocking the view. I felt bad for them but there was no other place to go to dance so we stayed. There were only 3-4 songs that didn't have the routine and that's when we finally had a good time dancing our hearts out. The bachelor's party and other folks who weren't part of the "regulars" crowd were pretty excited too to finally get some space and have fun without feeling awkward. So the suggestion would be - maybe regular folks instead of occupying the full dance floor with their own dance routine (and boy do they need a lot of space for making these steps!), maybe part of them can be on stage so others can have space to dance without being pushed out? Or maybe do every other song so people who came later don't feel awkward? Or maybe just let people know it's a class so they don't come expecting to dance and have fun? Imagine 8-12 people taking over the dance floor and perfectly dancing in unison and you're by the exit trying to follow their steps miserably failing and feeling off and not sure whether you should dance your own thing, keep trying, or just stay and watch and feel bad that you love to dance but can't do this now because you're not a part of the regular crowd that comes here every Thursday to practice. I mean I would watch a couple of dances, they did a great job, kuddos to them, but for once in a blue moon I finally feel good and stars aligned so I come to a dance floor and I can't even dance on the said dance floor constantly feeling awkward and off. That routine continued to around 1am when finally we had one last song to ourselves. So if you love to watch people dancing or a very good country dancer and can easily pick up multiple different routines or mess up all the time without feeling awkward - that's a good club to come on Thursday night. If you love to dance and do your own thing - maybe not.
I've been at Bogies during early evening before for a networking social event before which was fabulous! All my other experiences have been during the night for the club, not such great experiences. First off, $20 enter. Then you have to cross all the smokers thru the smoking section. The entire patio allows smoking, so sad because it's great place to enjoy night. I get asthma from smoke right away so I try holding my breath, I leave this place wheezing by end of the night either way. They don't have lounge or sitting area for non smoking, huge negative!!! So I have to stay inside where you get packed like a sardine. Don't wear open toe shoes or you'll regret it. Music gets repetitive and not enough mix in my opinion. Crowd is a mix of young and older, mostly young tho, many of them acting up after their bedtime. Drinks are average. The venue and restrooms are very nice and by waterside make for great location.
The music/entertainment was great, food was good. Only giving 3 stars due to how they seated us. We paid 30.00 each but was squeezed in and had to share our small table with others. The seating there very uncomfortable. Also they don't let you in till the entertain begins, it would have been nice to get in earlier to order drinks and food. It seemed very unorganized to order during the entertainment.
I think it’s a good club, but it needs more space inside. Also, I feel that there needs to be a free lounge area for people to relax inside while listening to music. I feel like if I’m going to pay a cover there should be only single people here.
Good environment. Mediocre sound system. Solid band but i went to listen to Sara Niemietz and she only did 4 solo songs. Check out TikTok ricksteven4 for 2 songs. French dip was above average. Mojito below average for $14 drink. Service was good. Parking available. Would go again.
I love this place. I’ve been going there for more than 20 years. I’m a regular customer. I didn’t go there for one year and now I know That rem model the place the only issue I had with bartenders they charge you different for the same items. Basically there’s no set prices so basically if you buy two drinks, bartender literally ripped you off every time and you know what right away if you buy the same item again and again that every part they charge different, you guys need to sit, your prices on the cash register and ask your bartender not ripped off the customers is too bad. We love the place and they’ll drive us away that way. Everyone was cool security and the front door guys. They were very good bartenders. They’re nice but when you feel that you got ripped off with the braces, you start thinking about finding another place
Food, Service, exterior very nice. Weakness is the night club. The air circulation is very poor and the dance floor and interior seating area is too small for the crowd size. My friends and I repeatly get upper respiratory infections after going dancing there. They need to do something about the interior air quality.
Cool club with tribute bands. Good drinks, good Westlake crowd. I saw a really good Led Zeppelin band here last weekend and a really terrible Doors tribute band called Burning Doors a few weeks back. The Doors are my favorite band so I was really disappointed in how awful the band was, especially the singer. I’m glad a friend talked me into coming back for the Zeppelin tribute though. They were excellent.
The place isn't bad in terms of hang out bar and social, unfortunately they took an anti-democratic political stance checking for people vaccination card, and despite I have it, it's a controversial and divisive political posture many other very successful places don't take. Really bad complacent with tyranny.
They used to adhere to a strict dress code, which honestly was quite nice to get a feel of hanging out with a more quality, upscale group of peers. Now, they're allowing people in sports wear, tennis shoes, saggy pants and sweatpants. When you look up the dress code on their website, it says to dress sophisticated and that they reserve the right to refuse service to those who do not meet the dress code requirements. So they have a dress code, they just aren't enforcing it.
Nice bar/club I’ve gone to many times. I Ubered with all my friends for a night out and we weren’t let it cause we didn’t have collared shirts. Random new dress code update that everyone was supposed to know beforehand. Plus the $20 admission + $10 self parking + expensive drinks is absurd. Update a few months after previous review: I’ve been back to Bogie’s (now renamed to Louie’s) a few times. They made it look much nicer which is cool, but they cut the outside seating that you don’t have to pay for. That’s pretty much all that’s changed. I recently went back on a Friday night with some friends who weren’t dressed up in collared shirts, and we were expectedly denied. However, the security guard, Danny, was nice enough to comp our entrance for the following night. Super cool of him, and I’m glad the employees are nice despite the atrocious management.
I visited here several months ago and I had a great time, however I was going to go meet my friends several weeks ago at this location and several of them weren’t allowed in because they didn’t have a vaxx card and couldn’t get inside without one. Not sure when this policy began, but this will be a factor in future considerations of choosing this establishment for a evening out. Especially since there was no announcement and not even a negative test was allowed as a alternative. One month you can get in with no issues and the next there’s a laundry list of entrance requirements?
Overly crowded- barely any place to dance. Too strict of a dress code for Westlake Village. Had to check a hat because of dress code- and then the staff couldn't find when I tried to pick it up.
Over priced food and drinks , food is not the best very average for a 40 dollars meal and 20$ drinks definitely not coming back
Took wife there for the first time, at first we liked the atmosphere and fire lamps and yard seating areas, but as night went on, people started getting trashed, stumbling around, one girl was throwing up in a corner, fight on the dance floor and absolutely no place to sit. There were 5 areas which were blocked off for so called VIP areas, all night, at least u til 130 that we left, no one sat there, still all blocked off, such a waste of night. They pretend to be a classy night club, but totally a ghetto place with no regards for clients.
It would be difficult to find such terrible food and portions size. Too bad, as the outdoor ambiance was perfect. Staff while pleasant were not trained well.
$20 cover fee for a remix of the chicken dance and expensive drinks on TOP of paying for “self-parking” vallet…i’m good! y’all stay safe tho.
I often used to go to this beautiful place but since they started asking for proof of vaccination, I thought this is not the place for me. Because this regulation attempt against the civil rights. And I think that this business and others must fight for our rights (and their rights) and not obey laws like that.
Tried ordering six different beers from the menu and each time was told they were out of what was on the menu. The bartender then tells me "you shouldn't go off the menu". The whole point of having a menu is so I know what you have to offer! For a place that charges a cover I was highly disappointed.
Empty restaurant slow service 15 minutes to get a beer in a bottle. It’s more of a club than a place to eat. Very limited wine selection. Very disappointed
Don’t go here in general & especially if you have an out-of-state ID. Their staff (including the “manager”) is extremely rude, condescending, will gaslight you & accuse you of having a fake ID (mind you, didn’t just turn 21 & are in mid twenties). Used to be a decent establishment but has since gone very far downhill. They might want to rethink the type of people they hire as they all seem to be a better fit for McDonald’s. This place is staffed by repulsive people who have nothing better to do than make their guests extremely uncomfortable, didn’t come across one pleasant employee. Manager didn’t know what gaslighting meant, helps makes sense why this place is going downhill, not the most literate crowd out there. Would highly recommend going elsewhere.
Worst place ever… Me and my friends were promised to get a table with bottle service for $200. We tip them good but at the end they charged us extra hundred dollars for no reason. The service that I got from them was so bad that we left early. We didn’t even finish our bottle and we just left. We are never going back to this place ever again and if you are asking me spend your money in another place did you can actually have fun with your friends. We are so disappointed at this place and the service specially from the management.
I can't believe in this day and age they allow smoking at the bar and in the lounge area. I was having a good time watching Monday night football and I had to cancel my food and leave. What a great place but its turned into a dive bar by smoking.
Boggie’s had a good crowd a mix of all ages and outside patio are with the fire pits were a lot nicer than what is going on. It’s now a 50+ hang out spot. Went on Valentine’s Day and was disappointed. Ordered steak and frites with 10 oz NY strip and chimichuri. They brought out a hanger steak which wasnt close to 10 oz charged the same $49 because they were out of NY strips at 9:00 pm. They said it was 10 oz but I cook steaks all the time it was not and regardless hanger steaks are cheaper than NY strip. Shoulda adjusted the price. They did give us a complimentary choice of desert which was not good. Tasted like some sugarless keto thing. Wine is $18 a cup for cheap wine. Sad Boggie’s is gone. Don’t think this place will last.
On June 17 th COVER CHARGE to order dinner! Avoid ! It is now called LOUIE’S They just opened this week ! DO NOT GO HERE . It’s a cash grab and will sadly fail. Once Bogies now called LOUIE’S will not stay in business long . We were staying next-door at the Hyatt and we’re going to check into the Weslake inn the next day but after our experience at Louies, we decided not to check into the hotel. We just wanted a simple late meal as we missed the 930 kitchen closing next-door at Mediterraneo . We walked to Louise and asked to see a menu so we could have a quick meal. Charged us $25 entry charge just to order food off the menu. I was OK with that, but we were treated very poorly like we were trying to sneak into a club . we are 50+ years old, we just wanted something to eat. The security guard came over and was beyond rude. I explained we were checking into the hotel the next day. The management of MEDITORANIO recommended we walk next door to try the new restaurant. I paid the cover change so we could order dinner and spend money . Not just take up a seats in very EMPLTY restaurant trying to be a club . There was nothing on the menu. it took 15 minutes for a server to come over and take our order.. we just got up and left. The front desk and head security were so rude . Ruined our evening .
was there last night which was a sunday night, me and my two friends were the only people outside by a fire pit other than one other group. it was only 10:20 pm and they told us they were closing.. made us feel like we were getting kicked out? we went to the restroom and came back and they already put out our fire and took our glasses. they close at 11 pm so thought it was rude
I had the worst encounter with the "manager" last night! It has always been told it was free to get in before 8:00. I stood in a line for a good 5 minutes and when I finally got to the cashier at 7:57 she wanted to charge me. I told her it was free until 8:00. She said "well it's 3 minutes before 8:00" I told her then she can't charge me. Then the manager came over and said yes there is a charge. I reminded him of the policy and he said it was up to his "discrepancy" to start charging at any time. He said unless its posted online or a sign out front they can start charging at anytime. Online it says "Category: Live Music w/ Cover Live Music | DNR | $10 January 20, 2023 8:00 pm" The male manager doesn't know his job nor how to run treat the patrons. Don't go there until they replace him. He was terrible! I have been going there for OVER 15 years now, not until he's gone! BEWARE OF THE DAY TO DAY CHANGING POLICIES!
Went here with my family today for dinner and I do not recommend it at all. View is completely ruined by a construction place. Food and Drinks took FOREVER. Worst service anywhere i mean it was terrible it is still hard to believe!!!!! We constantly had to remind the waitress to get our food and drinks because she kept forgetting and overall took way to long. And the music was terrible it was so loud we had to plug our ears at some points. Overall do not recommend at all to go here maybe check the stone house near it.
Beware of this place they over charged us and the gal taking our money was arguing with us, so for 4 of us we paid $100 when it should have been 80.00. Very expensive for what u get and could not get on the dance floor since it was overly packed. Not sure how people could breathe and we couldn’t get to the bathroom. 10.00 self parking. Drinks were inconsistent. There was a nice waitress there that was helping us and I appreciated her, but the rest of the employees were not so nice. Thank goodness this isn’t a habit of mine. We will not be returning.
As a loyal customer who has frequented this establishment for quite some time, I was disappointed by my recent experience. I’ve visited Bogie's countless times, often bringing friends, and we've always enjoyed our Saturdays there. Yesterday, however, I was turned away at the door for not wearing a collared shirt. While I understand the need for dress codes, our attire was appropriate for a casual evening out in a suburban bar. The abrupt enforcement of this policy was unexpected, especially since we've been regular customers. Bogie's has always been a spot where my friends and I could relax and enjoy ourselves. This new policy has caused us to reconsider our loyalty. You’ve lost three regular patrons due to this inconsiderate approach. I encourage you to reconsider your policies or at least find a more customer-friendly way to enforce them. It’s not wise to turn away those who have consistently supported you.
Would normally give this place at least a 4 for the club/ night life aspect. Since coming under new ownership expect drink prices to hit a 2.5 times multiplier. For four jack and cokes we paid 25.50 per drink. Although they were a hard pour you are already paying for valet snd the cover charge. Which will add at minimum $30 depending how many people are coming with you. They’ve done a great job of revitalizing the atmosphere but prices are unrealistic even for people that do very well for themselves.
This review is for yesterday's Valentines day dinner. This was absolutely the worst day I ever spent in a restaurant at Valentines day. We were being kind to the waitress & manager. SO, I dont think anyone should ever come back if they keep the same menu options. Cost $175 for a sharing menu which consists of ( each couple) 1-Starter- all seafood options ( who thinks of this, not everyone like seafood) 2- entree - we got chicken and mashed potatoes- literally 1 chicken breast and leg. We were basically fighting for that chicken. We ate light all day so that we could chow at dinner. We made that mistake. It was ridiculously small. 3- cookieand ice cream desert. We had to order extra fries, bread that took 1 hour for us to even get butter with bread and even begin to eat. My fiend ordered a mojito- they had no mint. It was so bad. The menu options were boring and I noticed other tables were asking for additional menu items. We felt stuck to whatever they wanted to feed us. I am so disappointed. Ill never come back here. Im also shocked because we have never had any experience like this before on this property. The manager was apologizing and we got out drinks and additional menu items on the house., but in my experience it didnt make up for how bad this event was. Whoever created this should never be allowed to do it again. It was sorry, just sorry 😞 😔
Went to Louies last night, to try again to have fun with my friend, who just moved to Westlake Village, the first time we went together, he was violently bitten on his lip by a patron. He is emotionally scared, from the incident. We wanted to go back and try to have fun again. What we noticed was a room with a majority of the people standing around with hats on backwards baggy jeans and attitude. Went out on the dance floor and within 10 minutes was kicked out of the place without a warning. Maybe it was that we weren't the kinda of people they wanted around. I've danced in night clubs all over the world, people have always said "your a good dancer" regardless, if they didn't like how I was dancing all they had to do was tell me to take it down a notch. instead of writing this 1 star review. But as a few other reviews mentioned, my friend and conclude that the place has a management problem. We will never return. Make sure you don't do anything wrong or you'll find your humility compromised. Whats really to bad the options for going out in your own neighborhood. are so limted. pro tip maybe where a hat backwards.
Disappointing Experience at Louie’s in Westlake I was really looking forward to a night out at Louie’s with drinks, music, and dancing, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. To start, the only parking option available was valet. If you wanted to self-park, the valet still charged $10 cash — no receipt, no accountability. That felt shady and unprofessional right off the bat. When we entered, I asked a waiter where the restroom was. He completely ignored me at first, and when I finally got his attention, he reluctantly pointed it out without a word. It felt like the staff had a snobbish attitude, like they were too good to help us — even though we were dressed very well and came ready for a nice evening out. The dance floor setup was also disappointing. The DJ was scheduled to start at 9:00 p.m., but the entire bar area was standing-room only. There were no barstools, no lounge space, and all the available seating was blocked off and “reserved only.” There was no option to sit, enjoy a drink, and ease into the night. When we asked about seating, we were met with more dismissiveness — again, staff acting like they were above it all. We came to Louie’s expecting good vibes, good service, and a fun atmosphere, but instead found poor hospitality, no seating, and an uncomfortable setup. After reading other reviews, it looks like this isn’t a one-time issue. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.
