Food is excellent. Great service. Our waiter, Jack, is very attentive! I wish all the waiters were like him. We are definitely going back. Thank you.

One of the most beautiful settings in the area, a beautifully decorated restaurant with friendly staff, great food and an exceptional happy hour. The bartenders remember your name, the food choices are all great, and walking around the property after eating is a great way to end your meal. They also have a nice patio that is closed in during the winter so very comfortable. The seasonal decor is always beautiful. Service is quick and friendly. Be sure to ask for their tapenade when you eat there. It's off the menu, and sooo good. Highly recommend for couples, families, and impressing friends from out of town.

My wife and I had lunch here and sat outside. Great atmosphere and views. The food and service were both very good. I had a chicken panini that was excellent. I haven't had dinner here yet, but I will soon. Make sure you check out their sister winery next door (Stonehaus Winery).

The Most Beautiful restaurant - romantic atmosphere , Delicious menu, very cozy patio and music. Our waiter was Spencer. He performed the HIGHEST level of customer service, crafted to the ART! BRAVO!!! All dishes we ordered were delicious and unforgettable, great wine selection. Nice place to celebrate any occasion like we did our daughter's High school graduation. Thank you MEDITERRANEO!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food and drinks. I'd recommend La Pasion for those seeking a fruity sweet drink! Our server was great about working with our group when we had to leave rather abruptly due to an emergency, it was greatly appreciated. I also love that this is on the grounds of the hotel I stayed at!

A friend and I had a pleasant Friday night at Mediterraneo. We sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance of the nice evening. In the dusk light, it felt like we were in Italy. We did try to sit inside but the noise level was off the charts. The Branzino was one of the best fish dishes I've had. The homemade sourdough bread with salted butter was incredible. The drinks and service were wonderful.

Took my entire staff to Mediterraneo last weekend. Was a last minute request to get 14 people in on a Saturday. They made it happen 👍. Plus every person I interacted with was polite professional and accommodating. Our waitress was super knowledgeable of the food the drinks and desserts. She took the time with everyone and make the experience memorable. It’s all about hospitality here. The General Manager stoped by to say hello and check on us. You could see the flow of their staff which you could see how professional and no panic or stress amongst them. Yes you’re going to pay a tad more but it’s the location the experience and it’s a locally owned and operated business. Thanks again ❤️👍🙏

The service is attentive, professional, and continental. The owner, Annamaria, waited on us and works hard at providing excellence. The food is absolutely to die for! My husband and I travel to San Diego once a year, and we go out of our way to stop there, coming and going. Eating there is a five star experience, without a doubt.

Wonderful place to spend your evening and enjoy excellent atmosphere and food. Servers are fun to talk to, and they got you covered on all your "wants". Cocktail menu is nice and they dont cheat you with too much ice over alcohol like other places do. One of the best Aragula salad with pecants that taste like nothing else I ever tried anywhere else! Great spagetti with wild mushrooms, and especially loved the icecream fudge dessert. Defenitely a must-go place! Certanly will be back here again and again.

This is one of my go-tos for years. The staff is incredible. The manager is so kind and handsome. The bartender really knows how to bring it. The remodel is amazing. Mr Notter made this place into a dreamland fairy tale. Food is also always on point. Tip my hat to chef Lisa

It's hard to believe that I've lived in the area for over five years and never checked this place out until recently. Great decor, beautiful location, and superb food and wine. Can't go wrong whether you are looking for a spot for a romantic dinner for two or need a nice place to celebrate grandma's 75th birthday with the family.

This was our first time here so we didn't know what to expect being it was Mother's Day and they were very busy. I know you should never try a restaurant for the first time on a holiday but Mediterraneo delivered. We had a short wait then were seated outside by the lake just beautiful. Our server Bekka was so nice and accommodating to a few special requests for my mother. Food was delicious and while menu was limited the choices were varied. Can't wait to return to try dinner.

I've been here twice now, and I haven't been disappointed at all! I first time I went for dinner, where I had the lamb pizza which is hard to mess up. It was very delicious. The second time I visited it was for bunch and I had an asparagus omelette with goat cheese. The views from the outdoor seating are gorgeous.

A visit you don’t want to miss, gorgeous grounds and exceptional cocktails by the one and only Roberto and team. Managment is outstanding which you can tell by the excellent service you receive. Dinner or brunch on Sunday’s. It’s a must try for yourself!

For dinner, you need to book here 2 weeks in advance. For lunch of the day for 3. The place is a masterpiece, although the interior decoration of the loft level. Everything we ate was amazing: pizza with mushrooms, fish and spaghetti. The atmosphere is alive. Feel the spirit of Italy.

First, I want to start out saying how I love the look of the new Mediterraneo restaurant and bar area! I love the lit tree in the center of the dining room, and the black blown glass lighting fixtures above the bar! The overall feel of the new décor is 70s retro with a modern flare. Now to the cuisine. I started off with Grilled Spanish Octopus and Charred Cucumber and Zucchini. The Octopus was tender and flavorful with a butter-like finish. It is a must have and I give this a 5 out of 5 stars! The Charred Cucumber and Zucchini is served with an avocado tzatziki, lemon garlic vinaigrette, dukkha, and fresh herbs with black pepper. I loved the aromatic bouquet of herbs featuring the beautiful and delicate dill weed. Gorgeous presentation with explosive flavors and texture! For my entree I had the Whole Branzino. Loved, loved, loved it! The fish was cooked perfectly! It was tender, moist inside with crisp skin, and grilled with olive oil and thyme. I will be back for this again! I ended my meal with the perfect cappuccino and a house-made biscotti.

Site unseen, I made a reservation on the re commendation by my “very picky” friend. I had a baby sprinkle for my daughter with 15 of her friends. Mediterraneo has it all: exceptional food, impeccable service, and a delightful ambiance. The sourdough bread with whipped butter is simply divine. I recently celebrated my birthday there and it was a fantastic experience. We started at the welcoming bar where Roberto, the bartender, crafted a sensational espresso/chocolate martini for me, while my friend enjoyed a classic dirty martini. After a short wait, we were escorted to a charming table and warmly welcomed by our server, Nathan. We began with a shared chopped Caesar salad and a delightful glass of wine each. For our main course, we savored the PAPPARDELLE SHORT RIB RAGU. To conclude the evening, Nathan presented me with a delightful HOT FUDGE SUNDAE garnished with a birthday candle. It was an evening filled with delectable food, wonderful company, and a fantastic ambiance. I wholeheartedly recommend Mediterrano.

Excellent food and service. Our server Mac was fantastic and everything he recommended was perfect. The lentil soup was great and the harvest salad is a must! Can't go wrong with anything you order.

If you love Italian cuisine, this restaurant is a must when visiting this beautiful suburb area NW of LA. The TONNARELLI GENOVESE was light, and although I'm not a chef, it tasted like homemade pasta. Pure delight! So much so that I ordered take out the next evening. The only CON is parking. There is not enough parking when dining there to support all of the businesses in that area (at least between 5-7pm). There is no designated parking for 10 minutes or less when picking up takeout. For takeout, be sure to order the food after you get a parking space.

Mediterraneo in Westlake Village is a stylish and romantic spot, perfect for a special date. We went the night before Valentine's Day to celebrate our anniversary, and although it was fairly busy, the atmosphere still felt elegant and enjoyable. The food overall was good - the salad was excellent, and while the French lentil soup they had that night wasn't our favorite, the Calamari was ok and the steak was delicious. We finished with the chocolate pudding , which was smooth, and absolutely delicious.

We went to Mediterráneo Restaurant for a date night with my wife, and it was an excellent choice. I’m not sure why we never went to this place before—it's a truly wonderful restaurant. From the moment we entered, we were welcomed by a delightful hostess who set the tone for the evening. We were given a cozy corner table that provided privacy while still allowing us to enjoy the amazing ambiance. The appetizers were incredible, especially the octopus. Our server was amazing and professional, enhancing our dining experience with their attentive service. For our main entrées, we ordered two different pastas, and both were delicious. The cocktails and wine were equally impressive. It was also nice to see the managers walking around the restaurant to ensure that guests were having a good time. After dinner, we took a romantic walk around the property, which was a perfect end to a fantastic evening. Mediterráneo Restaurant is elegant and offers an outstanding dining experience. We will definitely be returning soon!

Went here for our 2 year anniversary and i couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The waiter was courtesy, kind and professional. The food came out very quick and tasted amazing (I don’t think I’ve a better salmon in my life). And finally, they did add a little nice touch at the end of the night for our anniversary. Overall, the experience was exceptional. Would highly recommend to anyone else celebrating their anniversary.

A lovely neighborhood Italian place, secluded in an area with a hotel parking and other establishments. Can get VERY busy on Friday and Saturday nights, with long lines waiting for the valet parking. Atmosphere is great, seating inside or outside, and perfect for a warm summer evening. Service was very pleasant and appropriately attentive. The menu is simple but inclusive - I had a perfectly delicious grilled salmon, my partner had roast chicken and we shared sides of grilled mushrooms and succotash... The food is simply delicious. We went a second time a few days later with another couple, and again we had delicious meals. Get the bread serving! Warm, delicious freshly baked bread to start! Bill for two of us, including cocktails, dessert, tax and tip came to $150 - well worth it and we'll go back! Valet parking was $7 and worth it, because it gets crowded!!

Atmosphere and food were great. Table next to us came in late with a child that was over indulged. Most kids that age would be in bed or with a sitter. Getting passed around to stop it's screaming and yelling. Worst part was mgmt and wait staff unwilling to do anything about it. 😩 UGH Will think twice about going back

C
Chris Shaul

I had the eggplant parmesan. It was great. I liked the fact that it was a healthy stack of eggplant, not just a few slices tossed about. The special soup was mushroom. It was very good. The only disappointment was the calamari appetizer. It was pretty rubbery. Service was okay, but a little slow. It took quite a while to get our entrées. Still, I'd go back.

L

I agree with 4.5 This whole little center is great. We ate here for a friend's 40th. Thought the wine prices were decent (we had a bottle of Caymus which was delicious). Appetizers were great, had the tuna tartar and the arancini balls, soooo good. Had the 16oz ribeye, asked for medium, and it was cooked medium. Tasted great, the Yukon gold potatoes and French green beans were really good too. All the food was really good, and butter cake was a great finish! We will definitely be back.

Great place to have an outdoor lunch. Ask for a patio out by the fountain. On a nice sunny afternoon, it is a great lunch spot. Dinner menu is good but I think a little on the pricey side for the quality.

J
Jonathan Leventhal

I was there is a group of eight people. The calamari appetizer was not good at all. It was overcooked (rubbery) and the breading was gummy. We did enjoy the fish appetizers. My main pasta course was very good. However, the service was terrible. We did not get our main courses for hours after being there. And the place was not that crowded. Would I go back? No! I would pass on it.

L
Lucy R

Came here for an event and the service and food were (mostly) wonderful. The event room was an indoor-outdoor style and really beautiful. Servers were lovely! Great drinks and hors d’œuvres. Appetizers and salads also delicious. Food went a bit downhill with the mains and the flourless chocolate cake really wasn’t very good. That said, it’s tough to serve for a big group and this probably isn’t representative of coming here for a normal dinner.

J
Janis Halliwell

Lovely place to go. We only had cocktails , but they were delicious and we got seated at a nice table. Overall the whole lake area with the hotel shoo and coffee shop is very nice. Lots if courtyards and shady spots. It can get very busy

The wine list was the highlight of my dining experience. Some rare gems made my selection a bit difficult. The atmosphere was very nice, we were seated next to a cozy fireplace. The service was good, not great. The food was very good, but not great. Their pasta and sourdough are definitely their specialties and I would recommend them. Four star value at a 5 star price.

While in Westlake Village, a friend highly recommended Mediterrraneo, and we went there March 6. Beautiful restaurant, outside and in. We were seated and served promptly. I noticed top late that we are seated not only by the entrance but also by the bar. Much foot traffic near us. Nonetheless, our server, Joe, was excellent! He was attentive, answered questions and made suggestions. Very good. All the food was good... not great. Apparently the exception was the martini which, I'm told, was excellent. Were we to return, I would watch where we were seated and would try other dishes. Parking is in front of the restaurant, and cars are directed to the valet parking... however you can choose self parking, which I did...$7... and I found a spot directly across from the entrance. I would recommend Meditteraneo.

We visited the restaurant on Saturday evening for dinner. **Ambience:** The acoustics were disappointing — the space was noisy, which made conversation difficult. **Food:** - *Starters*: We ordered the beet salad and carpaccio. The carpaccio unexpectedly contained capers, which were not listed on the menu. The beet salad was fine, but nothing memorable. - *Main Courses*: Short rib pappardelle and mushroom risotto. Both dishes were good, but neither stood out as exceptional. - *Dessert*: We were surprised to find no classic Italian options such as tiramisu or affogato. We had the sundae, which was just average. **Service:** Initially, service was disappointing. As mentioned, the carpaccio contained capers we don’t enjoy, and the waiter, who seems to be very pleasant in general, did not check on us after serving the starters. We ended up “picking out the capers” ourselves. When the waiter finally returned, he confidently insisted the menu listed capers. We asked to see the menu, but after waiting several minutes without receiving it, we had to ask another server. However, once I expressed my dissatisfaction, the waiter relayed it to the manager. He apologized and offered a generous gesture: they removed the wine and carpaccio from the bill and treated us to dessert — without us requesting any compensation. **Overall Impression:** Their response was professional and exceeded my expectations, leaving a positive impression despite the rocky start. It’s clear they value their guests. The restaurant is pleasant, with good food and attentive management, but given the many dining options available, I’m not sure it ranks at the top of my list.

It’s clear they value their guests. The restaurant is pleasant, with good food and attentive management, but given the many dining options available, I’m not sure it ranks at the top of my list.

I always loved this place. Sunday night was a great disappointment Sending to kids back to college we were treating them to a nice dinner. First of all the Covid precautions were meaningless since the hostess and ( I presume the guy a host) were not wearing masks inside. I had requested a table by the railing near the lake. There were 3 tables in just that area. She told us it was for bigger parties than ours (6). She could not seat us there. Instead she put us at the back against the wall. Those 3 tables sat empty for the 2 hrs on a Sunday night we were there. She was borderline rude and I cancelled my reservations for a future lrg party. I wonder why. Could be a discrimination thing. Will discuss with mgmt if their even interested. Our waitress was the best part.

A beautiful day made our meal outside that much better. But service was lacking. Very friendly! But lacking all the same. Had to remind or ask twice for things that should have not been missed. Small plates for our bread and appetizer, a drink order, then refill of ice teas.

It was good food. Great sourdough bread. Service was good. A bit pricey for drinks and some food entrees.

Pretty good stay overall. Only exception was the layout of the bathroom. The vanity was sitting almost directly over the toilet so it made the actual act of sitting down a workout. Other than that, the hotel was clean and the staff was courteous. On a separate note, it was a decent 20 minute walk to the Point Vecchio.

Food was solid - great flavors and dishes - and the place is gorgeous, especially the patio on the water. The servers were very nice. That said, the service was lacking. I don't know if they were understaffed that afternoon, but they barely came by. When we received our food, my mother's salad arrived undressed. It took about 10 minutes to get someone's attention and then an additional 5 minutes for them to return with dressing. We almost skipped dessert because it was 15 minutes from dessert menu until they returned to take the order. The dessert was good, but my espresso shot was short and cold, and my father's latte arrived room temp. I'd certainly give them one more shot next time I'm in town. Fingers crossed!

Not a great place for quiet or romantic dinners. Music is loud .. seems more of a sports bar environment but probably doing their best based on customers wants. Food is average. Service good

Food and service has declined over the past year. Used to be fast and delicious and now it's an hour for food and very average the last few times.

Meh-diterraneo because the food is meh. Wine list was lame for an Italian restaurant, and didn't list vintage on anything. I've had better food on an airplane.

This wasn’t our first visit here and I do have to say it’s been consistently below standard. While the cocktails and appetizers were great. That’s where it ends I had ordered the lamb chops I asked for them rare , my wife the swordfish and my mother the linguini and clams. As our entrees were being delivered and served. My mother was served first than my wife , their dishes look great to the eye and smelled delicious, lastly I was served and I could t believe what I had on my plate. 3 lamb chops that were less than appetizer size ( no more larger than a half dollar. ( I wish I took a picture ). I couldn’t believe it. I looked over at my wife and asked her where the rest was ? Being it was my wife’s birthday and I had my mother with me I decided to take the high road and just deal with it. I cut into the first chop and it was so over done it was drier than a piece of toast. I cut into the second and at least it was pink inside and the third was cooked to my asking but had so much fat on it I had to chew on the bone to get any meat . The server came over and asked if ever was fine... I at first hesitated but did mention they were over cooked. She offered to have new ones recooked but I declined as I didn’t want to wait for the new ones. The manager finally came over and said that he would take care of it and not to worry. He also offered to recook new ones again I declined by this time we were almost done with our meals. He ( the manger ) offered if we wanted their warm butter cake at no charge. We thanked him for the offer. As we finished up our dinner I decided to try some of the broth my mothers dinner was made with. It was so salty and flavorless I don’t know how she managed to eat her dinner without saying anything. When I say salty... it was like drinking a glass of salt water. Thank goodness my wife did say her fish was ok. As the server cleared our table we declined any after dinner service but she insisted that we have free dessert on the manager. We were not really in the mood for dessert but it was already served. The to die for butter cake was just alright. We received the bill and to my surprise the manger lived up to his promos and took care of “it “ alright. He paid for the dessert. Yep. That’s right. Just the dessert we really didn’t want in the first place. I don’t mind paying for quality food at any restaurant however I do have a serious problem paying 42.00 for lamb chops that were over cooked and so small that I could compare them In size to a chicken nugget from McDonald’s. Not sure but perhaps a bit of quality control might help the situation. As well as a new meat purveyor or move items off your dinner menu when they are not of the proper entree portions. The only reason I’m giving two stars is for their service, at least our server was attentive and pleasant.

This used to be our favorite restaurant, however over the years the food quality has gone from exceptional to average and for the money it is not worth the added expense. In just over a year they have gone from being a destination to just an average restaurant. If you are looking for fine dining, you have much better choices. I blame the owner because this is same experience at Stonehaus. They are experts at separating you from your money, and leaving you feeling hungry.

Disappointed beet salad with arugula had only 4 thin slices of beet under argula. Lamb shop were tough only could it one . Spent $200 on my meal for New Years Eve and 2 cocktails plus tip $265 Overly priced for what I got!

What a disappointment! I would give Mediterraneo one star, but the food was very good. We met a family member here at his recommendation. We arrived 45 minutes early for our reservation which worked out well so we could have a cocktail at the bar. The hostess asked us upon arrival if we still wanted the booth that was requested in our reservation, we said yes. When our table was ready we were sat at a table next to the doors leading to the patio.. not a booth and a constant stream of servers and patrons walking past to get to the patio - what a terrible table! Every time the patio doors were open we got a nice blast of cold air from outside. I went up to the hostess and asked if we could move to another table as this wasn't a booth and was in a main traffic area. She was very condescending and snarky saying they cannot guarantee any reservation request.. ok then why did you bother asking when we checked in? If she would have told us when she told us our table was ready that it wasn't a booth that would have given us the opportunity to decide if we wanted to wait or not and not give up our seats at the bar. She said another table would be at least 25 more minutes, at this point the bar was 3 people deep and I didn't want to wait outside. We stayed in the table. Our server was terrible, he never introduced himself, came to our table and asked what we wanted like we were at a fast food restaurant. I had to ask what the specials were, he said "we only have 2 left so it doesn't really matter." He zoomed back and forth and paid little to no attention to us. My husband sat with no drink for over 20 minutes before we stopped him to ask if we could order a glass of wine. The food was good, we had 2 appetizers (Shrimp Milano was 5 small shrimp and very overpriced, but so tasty!), 3 entrees & dessert. Last thing, if you spend $300+ on dinner for 3 people it would be nice if the restaurant would validate parking, but they don't so it was $7. Small thing, but just one more disappointment. I know this is a long review but the service from the hostess and server was so terrible I would never recommend Mediterraneo to anyone, too many other wonderful restaurants with friendly staff.

Our first time dining here. I ordered the filet med rare. The meat was so tough that the knife wouldn’t cut it and the taste was bad. Our server did not come back for several minutes, by then it was too late to order another meal.

The service was extremely slow. Our waitress told us the special of the day flatbread was vegetarian but it came out with prosciutto. Water glasses were repeatedly empty. When ordering cocktails it took 30 minutes to get from ordering. Pasta was good but nothing special. Nice outdoor seating and pretty vibe.

We got together with our good friends to dine at what used to be an excellent restaurant in Westlake Village. We were very disappointed with the food quality, but their sourdough bread is still the best! Besides the bread being the highlight, we were disappointed with everything else. The beet salad had absolutely no flavor, the lobster bisque was fishy and had absolutely no lobster in it (unlike Maestro's lobster bisque that is absolutely the best), and the short rib pappardelle was fair, at best. The ambiance is excellent, so the next time we go we will just order bread from the bar and enjoy happy hour.

The food is inconsistently prepared , I would assume different chefs are not in communication with each other. I had to" eyeball" 3 different staff members to get a wine refill, The food was mediocre at best, it was not Jiving with the above average price..They force you to 20.00$ valet your car to walk 20 feet away to the restaurant!😬 I will not return there , Bad Bad Bad experience. How was your experience?

We really like this place. It has always been a favorite for Sunday brunch. The bartender, Miguel, is ALWAYS a highlight. With that said, the prices are getting borderline ridiculous. I get inflation is an issue but just 3 months ago a sangria was $10 and the price was just raised to $15. I know that isn't breaking the bank but it becomes a matter of principle at this point. $20 for a small breakfast wrap is also becoming an issue. But what REALLY turned us off was the side of bacon. It was this razor thin, paltry, 3 pieces for $7.00. I also know that bacon prices have skyrocketed but the quality was outrageously pathetic. I think Carl's Jr. has better bacon. My level of disappointment is at a breaking point and $250.00 for eggs, toast, and a few breakfast cocktails for 5 is not worth it to me anymore. If the quality is there, I'll pay for it all day, but after what I paid for that brunch yesterday, I feel like I'm being swindled...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but the way this restaurant handled a special occasion for my family was completely unacceptable. I had called ahead to plan a special dinner for my mom’s birthday — I pre-ordered the food, provided payment and contact information, and received confirmation that everything was set. The whole point was to give my parents a seamless, thoughtful evening. Instead, not only were my parents presented with a bill at the end of the night, but the staff flat-out denied that I had ever called or arranged anything. They refused to acknowledge the conversation or the payment details I had given in advance, and my parents were left confused and embarrassed on what was supposed to be a celebratory night. This level of disorganization — and worse, gaslighting — is inexcusable. If a restaurant cannot be trusted with basic customer arrangements, especially for something as simple as a pre-paid dinner, it doesn’t deserve anyone’s trust. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone, and I strongly advise others to think twice before relying on them for anything beyond the bare minimum.

I would say this place went downhill. I sat at the bar with my mom and dad. Sadly, they rushed us to order and also didn’t take my mom’s gift card. The bartender was rude and said the system was down. It was then that the manager all of a sudden disappeared and comes back and says she talked to the accountant and that the system was down. I am shocked that a restaurant had no pricing and management system. Clearly, this is a lie. Also, I was not asked if I wanted a side, super pathetic that they stuck me with salad when I did not ask for salad. Also, both women at the front “pretended that they don’t take online gift cards.” Weird. They are clearly scamming people. They are also putting tiny plates so that the portions are small. I feel so bad for my parents that they spent money at this semi classy place. The owner should be ashamed that he hired these people.

I really want to love this restaurant. The staff is generally great and the bartender Miguel makes it worth going. If he's working we will have a drink at the bar before sitting down. The bar was full yesterday morning so we sat at a table. The food is okay but I don't know if the value is there. Pancakes, benedict, a tiny side of bacon and four mimosas for $85.00. I used to come at least twice a month but to be honest, I can get the same quality food and the same number of drinks at Lazy Dog for about $30 less. That doesn't break the bank but I feel like I'm getting gouged and this is a deterrent.

My fiancé and I dined here a couple of times. I will start off with our last visit, as this really made us feel unwelcome. We purchased a few bottles of wine (thanks to Tim) at Stonehaus for our group and we were looking for a table, but all were taken due to an Oktoberfest event. We walked the property and waited for Mediterraneo to open so that we can get a couple of tables in the patio area. As soon as we walked in, Luciano, who seems to be the manager had this horrible attitude towards us. We sat down on two tables in the patio and with a demeaning voice/ attitude and stare he asked us what we were there for and we stated we were there to have dinner. We asked Luciano for his name and position, he then gave us his name and turned back to a server and asked, what do I here? Then he proceeded to look at us with a smirk and a condescending voice and stated, "I'm the director here". After we were seated, Luciano began to tell us, we can't join the tables, in which we never tried to as I had previously spoken to Ashley, and she informed me of this a few days before. We ordered appetizers, main course dishes and desserts for our party and our server Blanka was SOOOO AMAZINGLY nice, kind, helpful, hospitable, which is a complete stark contrast to Luciano! I ordered the short rib pappardelle and unfortunately it was on the salty side. Although, the fritto misto, pizza and desserts were all delicious. My fiancé and I were standing by the bar area and Luciano came up to us both and told us to move, which was utterly rude and insulting. He then mentioned if we were leaving, and we told him we hadn't finished our dessert. It really takes an insecure and bitter person to behave this way and Mediterraneo needs to replace Luciano as the only thing he is doing is losing customers. I highly suggest you avoid this establishment!

We made a reservation to sit outside in patio a month ago. After we got there and gave our name to the hostesses. She was asking where do we like to sit ??? Inside or outside???!!!! Reservation did not mean anything !!! As far as the food; portions are so small for the price they charge . I ordered a Beet salad for my entree … when they brought my salad … I was puzzled.. they put a few pieces of beets on the plate and a little bit of green on top … I was shocked… the menu said the salad has pears too… I should have microscope to see the pears. No pear on the salad … it was disappointing to see how they shrink everything Even my kids pasta ; you could count how many pieces of pasta is in there … ordered a basket of bread with butter .. for 12 dollar they give you a few pieces of bread and the tiniest scoop of butter It’s a rip off… They just have the advantage of location Some greenery and a small pond …. But overcharged for the small portion that they serve.. It’s so unfortunate to see how people take advantage… not going back here.

The place is beautiful you would think for such a high class restaurant, you would have exceptional service. The service was just awful! Was celebrating my father’s 84th bday, sat in the patio. It took 45 min to get a drink!! It took 1hr 45 min to get our dinner!! They comped our meal but will not be returning. Was such a disappointment. I’ll Take our favorite little hole in the wall restaurants with amazing service and food over this any day!

I paid $400 for a dinner for two, while the price initially advertised on their website was $290, which was very disappointing. For $400, you could dine at a two-star Michelin restaurant on top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, so my expectations were understandably high. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not justify that price point. The food was okay, but far from exceptional, and the desserts were overly sweet. On a positive note, the service was professional and correct. Overall, the experience was not worth $400.

Terrible service and terrible food. We ordered the roasted chicken for our toddlers to share. The roasted chicken came with 2 pieces a separate breast and thigh. The thigh was rubbery and undercooked. We served our kids the breast only with the mashed potatoes. When the waitress came by to ask how it was, I told her the thigh seems undercooked and rubbery. She took the plate away. She had the audacity to come back with the plate and said “she examined the chicken and it is cooked all the way through”. She asked if we want it back or if she should toss it. I told her put the plate on the table and call your manager. I was so appalled by this. I explained to her manager what type of restaurant takes my plate, “examines” the food, and brings it back for me to eat?! How am I supposed to know if she stuck her fingers in my chicken to examine it? I complained it is rubbery! At the very least replace that piece of chicken…. I’ve never seen such irresponsible handling of food. And to think this is a high end restaurant with high end pricing. The roasted chicken was disgusting. The creamy salmon over crispy rice was fishy The beef carpaccio was bland The NY bone in steaks were both overcooked and so tough We usually go to Mastro’s nearby and decided to give this place a chance. Huge mistake. The manager invited us back for a free meal. No thank you. Never coming back here. There are many other places in this area with good service and good food.
