This is the spot to get a quick bite of some authentic Mexican food. The flour tortillas are always fresh and tastey. My favorite plate is the Chili Verde but it is spicey to me so a drink is necessary! Highly recommend it!
Recently visited this location for a quick lunch. I had the crunchy potato tacos and asada fries. The portions are very generous, everything tasted amazing! and I had left overs for later in the evening. My wife tried the menudo and she loved it, did not share with me. Try this place guys
Excellent, authentic Mexican food! Not expensive, healthy , hearty, real Mexican food. Good sized portions , very friendly customer service and a DRIVE-THRU! My new favorite place to eat in town. Thanks Lorena's!!!
I tried these guys out while waiting for a bus and they not only served a great asada burrito with green sauce but they had it to me fast like in 3 minutes! I was very stoked and am going back right now! Great food great friendly service
Very large variety of freshly cooked mexican food. Not all items have top quality ingredients,(cheese in chile rellano is fake like, guacamole cheap too). But that is for only a few things, otherwise really good and fair priced. Great taquitos!
AMAZING service and fire food, def coming back - thank you guys for one of the best services I’ve received. You won’t be disappointed
A hidden gem. Great service (Thanks Irma) food is good. Reasonably priced. Drive thru is a fantastic feature. Happy to support this small business.
This place is deceiving it looks like it would have average mexican food like Sarasota. Do not let that deceive you this place is a gem really good food and large portions they make it to order so you know its fresh. if you like good food drive thru and check it out.
Always consistent, always friendly, always fast. I get to eat here only a few times a year because I live in Philadelphia now, but this is my go to when I'm in Orange County.
1st time here. Breakfast burrito #6 was great! Made fresh as you wait. Good portions, good price, great taste and service!
If your West of Santa Ana, California. No better Mexican food then LORENA'S MEXICAN FOOD! As a construction worker on PARTNERS OC 405, location couldn't be more convenient! Drive thru and perfect! I recommend this place!
I've only been there twice but the food was the bomb.com I ordered the chicken enchilada so so good. Now that I know of where they are I will be there often staff so friendly and kind they treat ppl like ppland the smiles are what keeps me going back. Hope they don't move or close the prices are reasonable too
The service here is great! I ordered for pick up and was running behind. They called me to check on me because they didn't want my food to get cold! Food was all delicious, especially the pineapple agua fresca.
Great tasting Mexican food, more of a mom and pop type drive up window with a few tables outside , expect 4-6 minute wait for the delicious hot food to come to window. Coming from brookhust, right on Edinger.it is just before Magnolia .
Yoooo!! You can tell how good a burrito will be just by looking at the tortilla. This place is FIRE!!!! Ive had their breakfast sausage burrito, carnitas burrito and their tortas. The burritos on first bite, you instantly get a bite of goodness. Most places on the first bite, you only get a mouthful of dry flour tortilla. Not this place! Burritos are big and worth the $9.50 you will pay. You won't get a mini burrito here that's for sure. Wait till you try their green avo salsa YEW!!! Brought my girl here and it blew her mind. Excellent service too by the way.
I stopped by here after I got rejected at Costco nearby, because now you can no longer eat at their outside food court unless you're a member. I told the lady at the cash register about this and also commented that I like that they have nachos like Alberto's. She said "we are better than Alberto's". Ok well, when you grab the bar that was set and just chuck it wherever because you are that confident, I told her I was going to judge the food even more. Well, I don't know about better than, but I was not disappointed, and now I can add this place to my list of options since Albertos is not nearby. So if you're in the area, try them out, prices are reasonable and they have a variety of options.
This is a casual, down-home spot. Not at all fancy or trying to be anything but what it is. I've only gotten the chile rellenos here, but they're the best in town! The service window staff is friendly. I recommend this place for a quick, delicious bite!
I like their super fries (carne asada fries) in comparison to other places. In general they're like other Mexican places (the ones that are some variation of Albert ) but just slightly better so that I'm always willing to drive a little longer to eat here instead. I also regularly enjoy their Chile relleno and burritos. Their flan is the best I've had from a take out place (admittedly I don't get lots of flan), and their churros are good too, but honestly every once in a while the quality of those desserts is sub par. Don't know why. I like the vibe I get from the people working there; they're super nice. Nice enough that I look forward to seeing their faces!
I go here at least every other week, if not every week. Their carnitas are amazing as well as their refried beans. And their flour tortilla (which are massive) are fantastic too. Their staff working the window are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Lorena's!
Great little hidden Mexican restaurant. Their plates are definitely not “fast food”, it’s authentic Mexican food. I love their breakfast burritos! The breakfast burrito is huge and only $4.99 after 9AM. Place might not last long bc of the location... but their food is legit.
5 taco place for $12. I got carne asada, good average tacos. Id back for a quick cheap lunch. Nice small business, taco drive through
The food was Amazing. The plate came with 4 tortillas. I came on a Tuesday night around 8pm they were pretty busy on the drive thru. The place is very clean ☺️ and enjoyable to eat at.
Great food! Menudo is yummy and every dish never disappoints. It's large portion. Fyi Michelada can is mine

Good food OK price quick service
Food a little pricy but it was decent, just most restaurants the bean and rice portion is twice the meat portion but overall good food and dude was chill
Excellent value. Our "go-to" restaurant for casual Mexican cuisine. The meats are well flavored & cooked "just so" :); the vegetables are well prepared & the red sauce is a scorcher🔥. The breakfast burritos are tasty & a very good value 💲. My "go-to" item are the $2.99 tacos - two are a meal. We are working our way through the menu. The adobado (Sp?) meat is my favorite.
So, I've never left a review before. But, I've ordered carnitas plates from like 10 different local restaurants over the lats few month and this one, was exceptional. Plenty of carnitas with just the right blend of crispy and soft. Comes with an avocado sauce, great picante and bomb gold corn tortillas. This is now my go to for carnitas. And, the carnitas tacos are outstanding as well. Definitely 5 stars.
Only been there once, but the menudo was the spiciest around which is awesome. I love the spiciest of everything ave to have it start that way, great! Then the hot sauce which makes or breaks places for me.... Again, the spiciest around. Could have more flavor, but not bad for the spice I get. And the drive through lady was so freaken nice. I'll definitely drive the extra 10 min to go here again
We where traveling and wanted some good Latin food and they didn't fail to deliver some great food
I had the machaca combo. It comes with beans and rice and three tortillas. Found it by accident and I've already have been back. I'm not sure if the lady that was there both times I went but she sure is nice.

The taco shell was easily the hardest shell I've ever attempted to eat. I actually double checked to make sure I still had all my teeth. I'm kinda partial to them. Luckily I didn't stab my gums... Peligroso
First of all let me say this place has some BOMB green salsa. I have ordered from here a couple of times and the food is very good. I have gotten the taquitos and a breakfast burrito and my husband has gotten the carne asada fries. The fries weren't the best but I really liked my food. The green salsa was surprising spicy but had an excellent flavor. The drive through was fast and the workers are always really nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for its burritos, tacos, or taquitos.
Food portions are smaller than other places. The salsa is the best in town! I recommend this place if you're a spicy food lover! Food tastes decent, but the salsa is what makes it better!
I haven't experienced a lot on their menu yet but what I have was good! Good presentation too. Friendly staff. They only slight con would be is the time it takes to cook your food is a little slow. Will review again after I've tried more.
Good breakfast burrito 🌯 comes out smoking hot. 4.99 right now. Great deal

This place can be hit or miss. They charge you differently based on if you are using cash or credit, they ask you beforehand how you're going to pay. The carne asada is ok, but the Chile Verde is pretty good, a little less beans and rice in the burrito would be better.
Food was good but the service gets 1 star because they knowingly gave me what I didn't order. I ordered carne asada fries with no sour cream. At the window she verifies carne asada fries with no sour cream. Then I hear her going back and forth with the chef. Then she comes back and asks me if I ordered carne asada fries or carne asada nachos. I said fries with no sour cream. I get my order and they gave me carne asada with sour cream
This is a drive-thru place. Looks like it was formerly a Taco Bell. Ordered breakfast burritos. Burritos are huge. 2 people can share one burrito. Food tasted OK. Sort of bland Mexican food. Not much flavor in my opinion. Prices are moderate. They accept your Visa/MC but will charge $.50 for running your card. I didn't appreciate that I wasn't told there'd be a fee to use my CC. I don't carry too much cash and using my card makes more sense. They should simply let customers know there's a fee.
Got a "Special" breakfast burrito that wasn't. It came with Raw bacon, too much Potato, and No Cheese. The eggs were fast fried on high heat. Hard and Unappetizing. It must have been a fluke, because they got it Right, once before with tastey, Green Garlic Salsa. And, it didn't have any of those other flaws. I must have had the wrong "chef" working, that day... I went back and the chicken tacos were good. Then, I came back again, on a Friday afternoon. July 2nd. The Super Chicken Burrito, (Not Super). Plenty of it, but not good. I suspect, that they cook everything, on the same surface, which makes the flavor suffer. Ive come to realize, that this place is Hit or, Miss...
I almost gave a complete five star review, however I had to come back to add a few things. I was enjoying my chicken tacos and all of a sudden I ran into bits and pieces of carne asada. For meat lovers this is a win, however because I usually don't eat meat and just barely started eating chicken recently, this grossed me out completely. Then I started thinking they serve brain and tongue here and so I don't want bits and pieces of that up in my taco as well. I'm completely turned off by it, but before then it was super tasty. I just need to wrap my brain around the fact that I could have ate some la langua or cabeza. Not happy with that, so I took it from a 5 star to a 3 star. The only reason why they are not getting 1 star today is because the lady at the register was amazing and the carrots are al dente and very good. I'm scared to even try my potato tacos now. Good thing I got this on Taco Tuesday special, but unfortunately I can't trust the cook enough to come back.

I've been working all day while traveling and needed some high protein went in for the chicken soup and was mildly disappointed
This place has the best hard shell tacos I have ever had. They always make them fresh. The only thing I noticed was that they charge 2 different prices if you pay card or cash, which is not a problem for me. However, the sign used to be posted and now it's not. Now they won't give you your total until you get to the window and after they ask how you're paying. I'm a regular there so I know they charge more for card use but to hide it now, seems extremely shady. Pay cash if you can and ask for your receipt.

Odered a fish burrito, with an order of al pastor super french fries, a churro, and a flan. No fries was delivered when contacted they said nothing could be done. No refund no fries no happy me. Fish burrito was pretty good, churro was mediocre for a restauraunt, flan wasnt the best, tasted like El Supers flan tbh. Coulda been a 4/5 if they didnt miss my fries, but 2/5 for the aftermath worth.
I want to like this place but I just can't give it a true thumbs up. Some items are okay, others are no bueno. I got an order of rolled tacos and I can tell they were frozen and not made fresh. The meat was dry and tortilla was thick and chewy. I also got a bean and cheese burrito which would have tasted good enough if the beans weren't on one side of the burrito and the cheese on the other. I suppose if I took horizontal bites quickly enough I could have bitten off equal amounts of bean and cheese and been fine but unfortunately I only reserve that type of chewing for corn on the cob. Seems like the quality of the food has gone downhill lately. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for good Mexican food.
First time and sadly, last time. The food person at the window was very nice. We had the carnitas plate and the birria plate. Neither had much meat, nor was very tasty. In fact, there was probably only a quarter of the carnitas I can get at Adalbertos on Katella in Los Al, or Super Mex in HB. The birria was really fatty. The side salsas were not very good. I enjoyed the small amount of beans and rice though. Maybe it’s because it’s a Monday or maybe because they need to keep costs down, but I was really not impressed. :(

I was in the area while working as patrol and I was craving mexican food so I decided to stop by this place. I looked at the time and it was 15 mins til closing and I know some places dont like it when we get food towards closing. When i went to drive thru, the lady that took my order sounded rude and didnt really want to take it and when I went to get my food at the window. She gave me an attitude. On the receipt showed only number 8 when I clearly ordered for horchata too so when I asked her if I can get a medium horchata. She told me we are out and just closed the window on me. Upon opening the box of food. It looked like as if the food was just thrown inside the box and looked cold. They gave me stale left over rice, I didnt even finished the food. Tasted bad. 0/10
Took 30 minutes or more to get the food, had to repeat twice my order at the speaker and had to repeat my order twice at the window, portioning was bad. Customer service was just bad, last time visiting this place for sure
Yucky oily taquitos with no taste. You can tell they were not fresh and watery guacamole was piled on with melted cheese. Salsa had no taste and the beans and rice were nasty. If you want good Mexican food, this isn't that place.
$20 bucks for one drink side of sour cream old hard rice COLD BEANS and hard tasteless Taquitos. STEP IT UP

Don't order #12 carne asada plate, the description says 2 big steak which is false advertisement. All that you get is actually 2 VERY VERY VERY thin slice, same size as the tortilla only. VERY VERY dry with no flavor. Guess the owner doesn't know what a steak should looks like and taste like. Worst Mexican food place ever. Whoever enjoy the food there don't know what good Mexican food taste like.
