Came here to celebrate a special occasion and La Lanterna did not disappoint. The ambiance was lovely, but the staff truly made it memorable. Our server was so thoughtful and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. It’s clear the team here cares about their guests. An all-around wonderful experience.
I had an amazing experience here from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect the whole time. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a great spot. Definitely one of the best places I’ve been to in a while—highly recommend and I’ll for sure be coming back!
Had a fantastic dinner at La Lanterna. We started with the meatballs appetizer and they were absolutely ginormous, in the best way, and packed with flavor. For mains, I had the spicy lobster pasta and my wife ordered the spaghetti carbonara, and honestly, both dishes were out of this world. Everything was cooked perfectly, rich without being heavy, and full of authentic flavor. A great meal from start to finish and definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.
Stopped in after Church on Christmas Eve and didn't think we would get a table but wanted to try anyway. The bartender was very friendly and helpful and got us a table in the bar area. It was a little crowded but we had a great meal and the bartender was able to expertly juggle the bar and the tables with ease. The food has always been great and they have amazing seafood. You can't go wrong with La lanterna
There are so many wonderful things I could say about LaLanterna, but overall, it was perfection. From the service to the food and the drinks, everything exceeded my expectations. Walking into the restaurant felt like stepping into a dream, the décor and ambiance were absolutely stunning. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. I visited with a few friends and we started with the OG Stuffed Sicilian, which was out of this world—unlike anything we’ve ever tried. For dinner, I ordered the Vodka Chicken Parm, which has officially become one of my favorite dishes. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the sauce was creamy, rich, and full of flavor. Lastly, for dessert we got the tiramisu and the s’mores brownie sundae and paired it with an espresso martini. all I can say is DELICIOUS! Overall, I had a great experience here not only with the staff and food but definitely a place to go with your friends or for a date night. I will be back soon for sure! My new favorite place to be!!
La Lanterna is my go-to spot. The food never disappoints—my favorite is the spicy vodka lobster, but every dish I’ve tried has been incredible. Everything from the bar to the kitchen is consistently on point. Marcella and the bartenders make perfect drinks every time, and the kitchen always delivers. It’s family-owned, and you feel that warmth the second you walk in. La Lanterna makes you feel like family—and that’s why I keep coming back.
I had the best time at this Italian restaurant. The lobster ravioli was honestly out of this world perfectly cooked pasta, rich flavorful sauce, and unbelievably fresh. The drinks were amazing too. So well-made, balanced, and full of flavor. You can tell they put just as much care into the cocktails as they do into the food. On top of that, the workers were amazing super friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the whole experience feel special.Overall, the night was just perfect. Great service, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that truly delivers, this is it. Highly recommend!
This was a great place to eat! The food was amazing...our server "Peppito" was awesome! Our food came out in great timing. Loved the outside atmosphere! If you plan to eat there please make sure to make a reservation, but the outside defeating does not require a reservation, but there may be a wait.
It’s always a pleasure dining at La La. They have recently redecorated the dining area to match their outdoor theme, and the result is stunning, beautifully done and full of tasteful touches. The ambience truly elevates the whole experience into fine dining, perfectly complemented by their delicious food. La Lanterns is always packed, so we made our reservation a few days in advance- and it was absolutely worth the wait. Every dish hit the mark! From the Chilean Seabass to the stuffed Sicilian, everything was cooked to perfection. Let’s not forget the whipped butter that comes with the table bread I could not stop eating it, even while reminding myself to save room for appetizers and entrées (reminds me of Texas Roadhouse whipped butter but lighter). The bartender was efficient and kept the drinks flowing while we waited for our table, and both the waitress and food server were friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The portions are generous, and the pricing is very fair. We also had a chance to try their restaurant week menu, which was exciting. The appetizer was a half portion, followed by a full-size entrée and choice of three desserts. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and are already planning our next visit!
This restaurant was a complete delight. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing. The location may look a little deceiving, but as soon as you walk into the restaurant, you completely forget about everything else and you are transcended into an amazing atmosphere that’s welcoming. Kind of make you feel like you’re somewhere overseas and they also have an amazing outdoor seating area for spring and summer.
This is hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to in Westchester... Food, Staff Atmosphere, all top notch. The prices are fantastic as well, you get more than your money's worth. I can't say enough about this restaurant, you just need to experience it for yourself. I will say just make sure you make some reservations as it's on the smaller side and fills up quickly.
The food is exquisite, we enjoyed the pasta a lot. All the dishes we ordered were on point. We ordered bread with cheese and tomato sauce (I can't recall the name) which was very fresh. Also, we order pesto pasta, cheese ravioli and penne ala vodka. I tried it all and it was simply delicious. The restaurant is cozy and has a splendid decoration inside and outside. The servers were very attentive with us and provided us with all we asked for. You need to make a reservation and they give you two hours you can spend in the restaurant because it is too busy. Lastly but not less important they have their own parking lot.
Great place with good food! This place has a nice atmosphere, it was Thursday and we had to wait to get a table because the place was full. The service was very good but a little slow due to high demand. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. You can go as a family, with friends or as a couple and you will have a pleasant dinner experience with this food. The lobster ravioli is highly recommended. The meatball ravioli and the branzino special were also delicious. I loved the place!
Hidden gem I must say. If you do make reservations (reservations are for indoor only) in which we did make reservations but saw how cute the outside was and opted to stay outdoors well shaded as well. What we didn’t know it was super cute inside as well. Let’s get to the food, drinks and service….food was good no complaints service was great now the drink menu offers more wine and beer with a few other options but don’t worry ask for your margarita or what ever you would like and they will make it. Drinks were very good! It’s seems very kid friendly as well there was a kid menu.
I love this place!!!!! It’s been on my list for a long time so finally was able to go. The place is truly off the beaten path of the Saw Mill Pathway! It’s lovely and such a nice ambiance. Since it’s basically winter, the outside was closed but it looked like it would be vibey during the warmer months. The food was soooo good. I don’t eat seafood but everyone recommends the clams. I got the 10 dollar pasta deal which was delicious! I ordered the meatball on the side and it was huge, juicy, and flavorful. The portions were humongous. Only con - they took a while to seat is even though we had a resy!
Not bad place is nice ambiance lovely. customer service with a smile.. very welcoming place. Will go back to sit on the patio once the weather is a Lil cooler bc the humidity is just too much for now.. I had spicy lobster with ribbon pasta not too bad needed more flavor. The mister had the hot honey pepperoni pizza which was smack!!! the pizza dough is so damn good. Highly recommend 100%
We stopped by this restaurant on a Saturday around 5 PM without a reservation and were seated by 5:30, which wasn’t bad at all considering the weekend rush. The service was definitely on the slower side, esp for drinks. As for the food—The pizza was excellent, especially the gluten-free pie, which was surprisingly flavorful and well done. On the other hand, the burrata and whatever it was paired with lacked seasoning and was pretty bland. The meatballs and Caesar salad were just okay—nothing memorable
The food was great as always, and the atmosphere is really nice. This place has always been five stars for me. However, because of an issue my party and I recently experienced, I have to give it one star and this is specifically due to the manager who was there that night. My party and I were celebrating a birthday, enjoying our food, and having a wonderful time together. I had been calling for an entire week trying to make a reservation. No one answered despite my repeated calls until I finally got through and spoke with TJ, who was extremely kind, accommodating, and went above and beyond to secure our reservation. I was very appreciative of his help. I completely understand that restaurants get busy and operate on time constraints. However, the way the situation was handled that evening was unacceptable. According to the allotted time stated on the reservation, we were already being rushed out by 7PM. I had informed the server that I wanted to order dessert and sing happy birthday to the birthday girl. Instead of taking our dessert order, he brought the check and never acknowledged our request for dessert. If they felt that we were not going to finish the dessert on time they could have offered us to take it home and not completely disregard our request for dessert and just bring the check. But what truly upset us was the manager’s approach. Not only was our request for dessert disregarded, the manager came to the table in a rude and abrupt manner and essentially told us we needed to leave because another party was arriving at 7:30 even though it was only 7:15 at this point and we were already being rushed beginning at 7pm. Everyone at the table was shocked and embarrassed by his tone and the way he addressed us publicly and loudly and that is my reason for this review. I had to step away and speak with him privately to explain that his approach was inappropriate. I told him that if there was an issue, he could have respectfully pulled me aside instead of addressing us in that manner. I also expressed that I felt an apology was warranted due to how loud, dismissive, and unprofessional his behavior was. To his credit, he did apologize and provided a dessert on the house to each of us, which I appreciate and they did end up singing happy birthday. However, the tone, attitude, and way the situation was handled left a very negative impression. It completely took away from what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. I hope management addresses this, because while the food and atmosphere were great, customer service especially from management makes all the difference.
I have been several times at the La Lanterna Restaurant. The food is delicious and very good portions. Usually, my family orders meals, when we have families celebrations. On March 4, 2026, I did a reservation for March 5 at 4:15pm. We're there on time. They give us a table, but I asked if we can be sitting in another table. They told us that we have to wait until 4:45pm. Also, that we have to finish by 6:30pm. We understood, but we coming together because we want to pass a good time talking. How they treated us was extremely rude. The manager, at that moment, didn't care about us. He was unkind. We said thanks and when to another restaurant.
THERE WAS A HAIR IN MY PASTA So let me start off by saying I went back and fourth with even wanting to write this review because I feel as though writing a review (especially a negative one) takes too much energy. My husband and I came here last Wednesday (first timers but live locally) and were excited to try it. The bartender didn't really acknowledge us much-but we just assumed she was busy so we didn't think much of it because in the moment when we arrived, it was busy. We ordered food and there was a hair in my pasta, usually I can get over something like that, but I think because I already had an upset stomach from an exam I took that evening and I was waiting for my professor to post my grade, I just couldn't get over the hair. I told the bartender and even apologized while letting her know, because I felt bad even having to tell her I found a hair in my pasta. She then apologized and took it back, and I was able to order a different pasta with her. 45 minutes later and the pasta never came out& bartender never came back after taking my order, never acknowledged us or gave us an update on the pasta (and by this time the bar had cleared out and the restaurant was no longer busy as opposed to when we first came in, so really there wasn't even an excuse anymore for her unattentiveness especially to customers who found a hair in their pasta) So after 45 minutes with still no pasta or update on why we have no pasta, we kindly asked to close out. And the bartender just simply said "okay no problem" no regard to the fact that our food never came out, no apology, no acknowledgement whatsoever it was so bizarre. Like we found a hair in my pasta, and you would think they would prioritize bringing out my meal, or at least-bare minimum-give me an update on why it's taking so long and apologize. Even my husband, who never complains and is the sweetest man ever even spoke to the manager (he would never do such a thing) which is how you know this treatment was unacceptable-but I digress, the manager did apologize & said he was unaware about the whole situation and offered to give us something to go (which we did not accept, but I suppose was nice of him to offer) the bartender made the whole experience such a disappointment which was unfortunate because we live so close and we were really excited to try it. Her behavior towards us was just so strange and bizarre and emotionless. Just so odd because we were kind the whole time. We even tipped her generously (which she did not deserve but instead of bringing ourselves down to her level, we decided to be generous) because why not just choose kindness? Also unrelated but I went to Yard house in ridge hill a few days later with just my kids & no hubby-I couldn't believe it. The service was top notch and I was just in shock that I got better service & treatment at a Yard house then I did at a cute little Italian restaurant 😂😅 mind blowing. Also another side note, in case my review seems like I'm nitpicking about service-my husband and I are pleasures and not complicated or rude. it may seem as though I am being harsh on service but in no way did I reflect this in person. We were so kind to our bartender and to the manager even when we expressed our distaste for the service. Trust me it took a lot for me to even write this review because I do not have the energy for negativity but this service was just a little mind blowing to me that I almost felt obligated to share it with others 😫
