We loved the picnic area!!! The food was delicious!!! We discovered it because it's near IFEZA and we've been there for lunch every day since!!! Alberto is fantastic!!! Homemade desserts!! Highly recommended. By the way, the scenery on the banks of the Duero is beautiful. We'll be back next year.

One of the best terraces in the city, although a bit far from the center, is located on the banks of the Duero River, right on the bike path. It's a great option for a drink and to enjoy the tranquility of one of Zamora's most popular walking areas. The weekend menu is €20, including a starter, main course, dessert, and a drink. It's good quality, with four or five dishes to choose from.

Good daily menu, and reasonably priced (weekdays only). Ordering à la carte is quite expensive and the menu has limited variety. There's more variety in desserts than main dishes. Almost everything has to be ordered in advance and with a reservation. The place is very pleasant for eating outdoors in the shade of the trees and by the river (that's definitely worth it).

The place was beautiful, natural, although poorly lit at night. The owner was very attentive. The waiters were trainees, doing their best. The food... We went in groups on four occasions. The burger was evident in that, to put it mildly, taste/smell of meat that wasn't fresh, supposedly made from good beef, but wrapped in a sauce consisting of raspberry jam that completely negated the flavor of anything you chewed... accompanied by some rock-hard fries, which, according to the chef, are dehydrated (we only asked for them to be fried). €23 for a burger meant we left hungry. Another day, everything was for sharing: average sirloin, excellent octopus, and a good salad, but another €25 meant we left hungry. It's not expensive, but the service is very slow, two hours for each meal. The service is very good, but sometimes it's better to keep it simple than to innovate in the kitchen. I remember them giving away a dessert that slipped in by mistake. They made a 300 euro mistake on the bill for the people at the next table, and they had to remind them themselves, since they were from the area. If it's someone else... The sangrias needed a good homemade local wine to taste good. We're going back to Madrid; we won't be back. I'M SUSY, AND AFTER THE OWNER ANSWERED, I ADD: This guy bothers more to respond to reviews at his convenience, AND HE'S IN THE WRONG GROUP. AND NO ONE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE WAITERS, who have higher ratings than him. ON THE CONTRARY, apparently, based on his response, he had problems with more people we heard telling him they didn't like the food and inviting them to try the fries, ignoring them (man, all the dishes, even the kids, skip the fries...). The burger was terrible, the gizzards were good, the salad and octopus were okay, the gizzards were average... Are I going to tell you how many days I've been and with whom? I AM VERY SURE OF WHAT I SAY AND WHAT I HEAR AND SEE at the nearby table when we sat down to have a drink and a snack. I not only gave my opinion about our dinner, but as I said, about the 4 times I went with different people: don't make a fool of yourself anymore and accept the criticism. This will be the typical person who harasses customers to remove negative reviews. If he does, comment without fear.
