The Baja-style seafood is amazing, creative, and they have a great bar with Mexican spirits, cumbia music, and tropical sounds—what more could I want? The decor is lovely, a real mansion in the Americas. The prices are very reasonable. The service is excellent; the tall waitress is always very friendly.
I'd been recommended the restaurant across the street. But when I asked about the fish, they told me something I didn't like, so I crossed the street and found this luxurious place. They serve sea bass, which is synonymous with snook (one of my favorites). At the other place, they told me they served dogfish. The tropicosa zarandeado is a true delight; the grilled dressing is delicious, and they generously serve it on your plate. They complement it with a salad of cucumbers, mini tomatoes, and arugula—it's quite good. The salsa macha on the table is spicy, so be careful with that. I ordered a local tequila at Bandera, and the sangrita was very bad; I went with a Pacífico instead. Plus, when you order Bandera, they charge you extra, something that doesn't happen in the center of Mexico. I liked the fish so much that I decided to order a tostada called Bien Informeda, and wow. It's delicious and abundant. A carefully curated selection of norteño music played in the background. We enjoyed Grupo Frontera, and something I liked was that they played hits from Nata Kong, an album I thought was no longer played, and evidently I was wrong. Great job on the DJ. You're going to enjoy your visit here; the waitresses are very attentive to your slightest movement.
Reopening and redesigning the menu. The dishes are good, though a bit contrived, but that doesn't detract from their quality. We ordered the Aguachile, and we were surprised that it came with a mix of leather, which gave it excellent texture and balance. We also ordered a Gringa, which was spectacular, and a flauta, which was quite delicious. The ceviche was good without being too special. We washed down the meal with cantaritos, which were pretty average compared to what you'd get anywhere else. The atmosphere was good, with music that allowed for conversation, and the floor staff was very attentive. Congratulations and best wishes.
Really fresh, high quality seafood presented in unique ways that you don’t get at the usual seafood place. Very great service as well, highly recommended!
Excellent place to have a few pleasant drinks with friends or family. The place is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. If I remember correctly, the girls who served me were named Ana and Mary, and they were very nice. They recommended several drinks that were 10/10. I would definitely go back again :)
The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and I think it deserves much more recognition. The grilled shrimp are delicious, and I think I've loved everything on the menu. On Saturday night, I had a live band playing cumbia and dance music. I highly recommend this place.
Amazing cocktails and don't skip the delicious Costra de Cameron taco.
Great food, original dishes, beautiful restaurant with a well thought out concept (and air conditioning) and the drink menu is great. The Doña tostada y bien reportada tostada are to die for. Service is also great.
Wow impressed by their tostadas and the fact that it’s a sea food place which opens late at night is also a great plus! We had a pleasant first time experience there, the service is very friendly and fast. Hope that they keep the bar and the quality remains as high as it is right now.
It's a really nice place to grab a beer and a tostada. The music is great, creating a pleasant atmosphere for conversation. I highly recommend the 🌟 tejuichela 🌟, an excellent drink to accompany your meal. As for the food, I recommend the tostada tropi, which is absolutely delicious. Budget around 200-300 pesos per person for two tostadas and a drink, including tip.
Food is excellent, drinks are well prepared and with tons of options, however the staff service could improve, we went on a Tuesday night and it would seem the staff was eager to leave instead of providing service to us
A seafood restaurant with good, reasonably priced dishes. The service is excellent, as the staff is attentive. The day I visited, a Saturday evening, a band started playing, which added a nice touch. The only drawback is that, being in what used to be an old house, it lacks accessibility for people with disabilities, although there are tables and a service area at the entrance.
When to have dinner with my friend after pride . Prices are pretty expensive for what you get. It’s actually kind of insane how little amount of food you get for what you pay. Service was alright we sat outside and it was much cooler(weather wise )than inside . I got the tuna tostada and honestly it was too citrusy and spicy . I usually to pretty well with spice so I was caught off guard . Also I ordered a mojito it was a solid 2/10 tasted like water with herbs . The place is nice and the bathrooms are clean but those prices are not justified at all. Also it’s not wheelchair accessible .
Food is good but the menu has limited options you will run through the menu in a couple of visits. It can be a great place for a beer and fish tacos. IT IS NOT a dining place. Service falls a bit short specially if you ask to have ingredients take out of your order. If you are looking for ceviche or aguachile you can go across the street.
