We loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked through the doors of Mezcalito in Cary NC! We went there for a mid afternoon lunch. There was a decent crowd but service was still prompt. Our server, David E. was great! He was very nice and attentive. The food was great! We had Mexican street corn, Tex-Asian ACP and Spicy ACP. We will return in the near future. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This place deserves 5.0STARS I want to first recognize the amazing service Alfonso provided, incomparable with anyone else’s I’ve ever had. Attentive, quick like the light. Food choice was Tropical ACP and the plate is massive, best price ever, the flavors make every taste bud in your mouth squeeze every drop in your mouth fall down. Desert was Choco Flan, get it. Don’t think about it twice, you’ve never had a flan like this one I promise anybody. 10/10 The atmosphere is amazing, great music taste, table turn around is phenomenal. Even had other waiters remove trash (straw paper/tortilla wrapper) amazing team work going on here. To the owners, you should be proud to have Alfonso and this great team. Take care of them.

This was our first time here and, as Texas transplants looking for our go-to Mexican spot, we finally found it! The atmosphere is energetic and bright and our server Kim was beyond helpful! The food was so good and the portions large. We couldn’t leave without trying dessert and it didn’t disappoint. Highly recommended! We’ll be back.

Amazing food and amazing service. The food here at Mezcalito Cary is so good, I had “El Regio,” and my girlfriend the “Campechano” which are both burritos. We shared with each other and thought both tasted really really great. I also had a Oaxaca Old Fashion which was nicely paired with my meal. I did want to include that there’s many times that you receive good service but there’s not many times you receive excellent service and Antonio was excellent. I dine out at many restaurants but I don’t think I’ve ever had a server with as much knowledge and charisma as Antonio. I really appreciated my dining experience and I will be coming back soon!

Stopped at Mezcalito back near Christmas time when they had all the lights up. Stellar display all along the outside, even crafting a tunnel to walk through. Upon walking inside, there's an abundance of live plants all around. Along the walls, between the booths, and dropping down the bulkhead infront of the bar. They made point of feeling lush all throughout. Although the restaurant was packed with plenty parties waiting for seating, we were able to claim a couple stools at the bar right away. Served homemade chips and salsa rojo right away (always a solid sign). I had to try the largest glass I saw in there- a penino picante (monster-sized) margarita - garnish with cucumber, fresh jalapeno, rimmed w/homemade spicy salt, and a drizzle of chamoy. My fiance ordered the Churro Martini - repasado, Bailey's churro, fireball, kaluha, espresso, cinnamon coffee foam, and garnished w/ a cinnamon stick & star anise. Both were quality drinks and worth the price! Highly recommend both. The service from beginning to end was quick and charismatic. I enjoyed for every birthday celebrated, a whole crew comes out singing and serving dessert - consistently enthusiastic about it! I was impressed. I would love to make it back there for their entrees. The seafood and grilled meats all looked well prepared and presented. Looking forward to revisiting in the near future.

Super fun restaurant. Loads of super tasty Mexican dishes with interesting fusion dishes (like sushi rolls). Huuuuge portions and super tasty food. We ordered ceviche, king burrito, flautas and acp fries and left with four take away boxes. The ceviche was 3x bigger than expected. Service from Jose was outstanding - friendly, knowledgable and attentive. The restaurant was also decorated for Valentine’s Day in such a pretty, festive way - they even had roses to give to guests. It was a fun, modern party-like atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Luis L made our first experience at Mezcalito fantastic! Food was fast and flavor was 10/10. Loved the tres leches cake 😍😍😍 We tried a margarita and mojito and both were fresh, strong, and delish. Amazing service from Luis!!! We will be back!

First things First: As of December 26th, they were not taking reservations. Go Early! 4 -5 ish!!! you'll avoid the long lines and waiting. Parking is plentiful. Food: Fresh, fast and a great portions. Luis was phenomenal 🙌 👏!! He knew the menu and was helpful. Atmosphere: 🪴 🌿 🪴 🌿 the plants and trees are gorgeous. There's a nice positive energy ✨️. Everything was amazing! The host (Kim) was really nice and attentive. The shakers were absolutely amazing. Everything was so nice that we forgot to take pictures of our food. Alyssa was really on point. She made our experience better with her service. Food was great, so much flavor un each bite, the atmosphere, music its fun and the real plants make different the entire experience💌 We will be back!!!

We loved it! Everything came out with perfect timing, the drinks were delicious and included a little fruit snack. Our service was excellent! Casandra was attentive and friendly! We both felt like it was some of the best Mexican food we’ve had.

J Antonio G - BEST SERVER EVER! Incredible experience. He made our experience fantastic! The food was great! We had the best time & enjoyed ourselves. The manager was also fantastic. Checked on us several times. I couldn’t ask for better service. We waited for nothing. This place has it going on. Go! You will not be disappointed! ❤️ My son went to celebrate his 14 birthday & they made it very special! We will be returning.

The food is always terrific, and it’s one of the best value spots in the Triangle. My experience tonight was extra special. My waitress, Alyssa, and the manager, Alberto, were extremely helpful and accommodating. They added to an already top-notch experience. In a marketplace with a ton of Mexican food options, Mezcalito reigns supreme!

It was our first time and it didn’t disappoint! The moment we walked in we were greeted and seated immediately. The food and drinks came out very fast. Our server Citaly was very sweet. Although she was new, she was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great suggestions. We had the chilaquiles Rojas and a steak and Queso entree. We also had the steak queso appetizer. Everything was delicious. The jolly rancher drink was huge and delicious. The shaker margarita was great too. Multiple staff members came to greet us at our table to make sure everything was good and we had no complaints. We will definitely be back! Oh and bonus points for Citaly for bagging our food at the table. We didn’t ask her to do that and it wasn’t required of the servers so that was an extra special touch that made the experience more enjoyable.

My husband and I went out for a date night tonight and decided to give this restaurant a try and we are so glad we did. Wonderful location, SOOOO BEAUTIFUL inside. Many live plants throughout the whole restaurant. You feel like you are in a beautiful forest. As a plant person I loved being here. The feeling of the restaurant is very welcoming, beautiful and positive. Front desk was so nice and sat us down very quickly. Everything is so clean and beautiful. Alan V. Greeted us very quickly with a smile. He was SUPER nice. From explaining to us the menu, to always making sure all the food and drinks were on the table to cleaning off the table as soon as we were done to bringing us to go boxes and even bags before we can even ask. He even brought us extra napkins. As soon as we thought about something he would already bring it. WOW!!! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR YOUR AMAZING SERVICE. People like this are so hard to find this days. HE IS AN ASSSET TO THIS COMPANY AND DEFINITELY DESERVES A RAISE. Food was to AMAZING!!!😃😃😃 We will definitely be back!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OPENING THIS AMAZING RESTRAUNT AND HIRING SUCH AN AMAZING EMPLOYEE!!!

Attentive, friendly service, and delicious food. Beautiful decor. This location is more spacious and family friendly as compared to durham location but both are equal quality. The drinks are tasty and worth the money. Not watered down 😉 there's salsa nights but since they are so freshly opening, the schedule for that hasn't been posted on their website yet. I plan on visiting the Clayton location soon!

First time at Mezacalito and I was super impressed! Definitely come hungry. We ordered the shrimp tacos, guacamole, and a margarita—everything was delicious, and the portions were generous enough that we had leftovers. Our server, Citlaly, was wonderful—so kind, attentive, and always on top of our requests with a smile. Hoping to come back soon; you cannot make a reservation during the holiday season. Either way, this place is a must-visit!

Excellent to menu with many choices. The ACP was a hit, along with ACP w spicy steak, but the real winner was the special that includes steak, rice and tempura sushi. Their salsa has a little heat but tastes so fresh and yummy. We also really liked all the impressive flora. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Wow! Just wow. Great food. Great service. Festive, inviting atmosphere. My daughter and I tried this place on a whim. Our server was Jackie. She was kind, professional and walked us through the menu with ease. We enjoyed the generous complimentary nachos and delicious salsa until our huge virgin drinks arrived. Our tasty food wasn't far behind. Check out the pictures. We were full and had plenty to take home.

Y'all...Mezcalito is a whole VIBE!!! If you come during the Christmas holidays, you will see exactly what I'm talking about. It's perfect for everybody. When I walked through the door, I was captivated with all of the plants throughout the building. I cannot remember the dish that I ordered, but I do remember that slab of BBQ ribs on top of my meal! I'm from the country, I have never eaten ribs that tender in my whole 51 years. Everything I ate had my taste buds dancing to the Cumbria music in the background. When I bit into the street corn, I did not put it down until I finished. I think the chips had some lime seasoning or something. Needless to say, I needed a refill. Best chips ever! Staff was very polite, food came quickly, our waitress checked on us regularly. You don't have to like Mexican food to go there, just go!

We came as a group of 12 to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from NCSU and Antonio was OUTSTANDING! Every order was perfect, he brought refills before we asked for it, had a great sense of humor and was just a great addition to the overall festive and fun atmosphere! We found this place online and came because of the high reviews. This place was even more incredible than we had hoped for. The food, plants, music, entertaining staff and overall energy of the restaurant were the perfect combination of what we wanted to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. We definitely will be back!!

Great service, reasonable pricing, lively atmosphere and great satisfying portion serving. The Nacho platter were great combo of flavors. Sad part is we're just visiting because of kids sports event and lived 7 hrs away. Thanks for awesome experience

Atmosphere, music, service and food were all wonderful. This was my first time going and I had a wonderful experience. Antonio provided great service, checked in often and made sure food was enjoyed by all. I stated I really enjoyed the salsa and he made an extra trip so I had some to take home. I got the enchiladas and my mother ordered the quesadilla bowl. Both were fantastic, this is now my new favorite restaurant in town. Other than food, there’s plenty of drink options and an appeasing dessert menu, as well the lights are well done outside and there is walls and walls of live plants inside, it’s beautiful. Thank you so much, I will be back!

Michael was super helpful and accommodating!! He provided amazing customer service! The food was delicious and will definitely be coming back! We ordered Tropical ACP, Poscato and Steak Tacos, Fajitas ACP and Churro Dessert! We also ordered the Texana Margarita and Mexican Espresso. Great atmosphere full of fresh plants and trees, very clean and family friendly. Highly recommend!

Love the new location. Same fun and unique setting as the original restaurant but closer to home. The atmosphere is bright, clean and inviting and the food was delicious. Our server, Luis L was great! He answered all our questions and offered suggestions. We will definitely be back soon, until then, ya’ll be sure to check it out!

OMG, I love this restaurant. My husband and I were out earlier today and I rode past this place, I told him I wanted to go. We came this evening and I was not disappointed! The atmosphere beautiful. The decor was amazing. I am a plant lover, I was surrounded and in love immediately. Michael was our server, he deserves a raise. He was so attentive, his recommendations were on point, and he has a great personality. We ordered based upon his recommendations as far as food and drink. He was spot on because everything was amazing. The manager was great. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back soon!

This new concept of a Mexican restaurant is truly out of this world! The food was amazing; full of flavor, color, and authenticity. Every plate was a work of art that showed the variety of ingredients and the vibrant spirit of Mexican cuisine. We ordered the Ribeye con Queso, Mezcalito Fajitas… cheese and Guacamole… and everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. For drinks, we enjoyed Micheladas and a Paloma; both delicious. The atmosphere is modern, warm, and energetic. The menu offers an incredible selection of dishes and drinks, and you can tell every detail has been thoughtfully crafted. Our server Elias was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The entire staff was exceptional and contributed to an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Mezcalito Cary to anyone who loves great food and good vibes. I honestly hope to see many more Mezcalito locations open across North Carolina; this place deserves to be everywhere!

Nice restaurant. Great service. Love the atmosphere. The food is pretty good. The beef tacos were kind of salty and the beans were warm, not hot, but those are my only complaints. I liked the pork tacos better than the beef.

Delicious food. Good service. Very fun interior with lots of live plants. I had chicken fajitas which were a good sized portion, enough for two meals. My kids shared a platter of 6 tacos with birria and carnitas. My son said the carnitas tacos were glorious.
