Excellent place to eat. While traveling home from St Joseph MI., we stopped at The Farmhouse Restaurant in Zeeland. The Farmhouse was very quaint and extremely clean. I ordered the smoothed meatloaf and my wife ordered the mushroom burger with crispy fries. Our meals were perfectly done! Our waitress, Lilly was very pleasant and helpful recommending the meatloaf. Truly a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 experience!
Great variety in their menu. First time visit and will recommend this restaurant to others. I ordered the crispy chicken wrap, it was excellent!
I have been to the Farmhouse equally for breakfast and dinner. Everything that I have ordered has always been very good. Service is always very good. I would definitely say that you get your money's worth when you go to the Farmhouse. I have highly recommended the Farmhouse to anyone that asks for a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
Really enjoyed this restaurant. Nice cozy vibe and very knowledgable staff. Lotsof fun brrakfast foods to try. I had corned beef hash with a poached egg and my husband had the breakfast sandwich. It was enough to take half home!!
A family favorite for weekend breakfast. Today we enjoyed the farmhouse omelette and “feel the zeel” with bacon and sourdough toast. We arrived at 8:45 am on a Saturday and got a table right away.
Absolutely loved everything about this restaurant! Clean, friendly, quick service and the food was SO delicious! We tried the pumpkin soup which was something new for me. It was so good that we ordered 2 bowls to go! We couldn't believe how much they offered on their menu. Looking forward to coming back soon!

The best Pumpkin soup we have ever tasted!! Would love to have that recipe. Have tried to make a couple times, not even close. Rest of meals ordered were also tasty. Country fried steak was so tender, cut with fork. Service was also super, she suggested the waffle ice cream thing. Yummy 😋
What lovely, cozy gem of a restaurant...farmhouse style..i very much enjoyed my meal of whitefish, coleslaw and fries..and fresh hot coffee. It was delicious.. Nice server. Everything clean..no messy tables or booths ..Plenty of parking spaces, and handicapped spots.. Price was very reasonable..Definitely will stop in again..
I met a friend here for Sunday Lunch the parking lot was packed, which is a great sign. We did not have to wait super long however. The Farmhouse is a farm to table no nonsense restaurant with quality food at a great price. The service was top notch what to be expected from small town America. I would recommended checking them out and I definitely will be back.
First time visitor today and certainly won't be the last!! I got corned beef hash with a side of Sunny side up eggs and was blown away. By far the best corned beef hash I've had in town and the eggs were on point!
Great atmosphere, service, prices and yes, food! Generous servings. Country fried steak with gravy and crispy hash browns was a winner! Love that they have sourdough toast. You may have to wait a few minutes to be seated as this place is popular, and worth the wait.
Place is spacious and clean. Service was quick and polite. Good selection of food. Restaurant has a small home town feel. Food was good, everyone got what was ordered and was pleased with their meal. Portion sizes seem to run pretty large here, be prepared to eat! They also have good pizza and a nice selection of specialty pizzas. I don't recommend the pork ribeye.
I've been to the Farmhouse many times and the service is very good. I recommend Jane. The food is always good as well. Our most recent visit, 10/15/21, was for breakfast. I had the Ham & Cheese omelette, very good! My son had their Homemade Cinnamon Roll, very good! 10/21/22, I had the Western Omelette for a change and it was very good! Our son had the Feel the Zeel and ate it all. Both were downed with a large chocolate milk each. 2023_04_28 I had the omelette with sausage, cheese & hash browns inside and gravy on top. Very good! My son had the Feel the Zeel. 2023_07_08 I had the Southern Omelette, with sausage, cheese & hash browns inside and gravy on top. Very good! My son had the Feel the Zeel. My wife had the French toast and scrambled eggs.
Super nice place for breakfast in Zeeland. You almost feel like you’re in someone’s kitchen. Nice food selection. Delicious salads. They always have fresh baked items. Friendly service. You won’t be disappointed! But remember, breakfast ends at 10:30 AM!
Thoroughly impressed! We got there with a large party 20 minutes before closing tonight and we weren't even sure if they would let us in the doors. We got seated right away and our food was ready very quickly. Everything in our order was perfectly right and tasted delicious. The grilled fish that I ordered was delicious and probably the freshest fish I've ever eaten. I will definitely come back and bring my business back. Updated 11/21/2022: My family and I have been here numerous times. I love the pork ribeye, the grilled whitefish, and the wet burritos. They have a very home-cooked feel to everything they make. All of their food is fresh and local. The grilled veggies, macaroni and cheese, french fries, and pudding are all so good, too.
A very nice simple and rustic atmosphere, with a warm inviting feeling! I ordered the Sloppy Joe sandwich with fries and since I know sloppy joes aren't usually the most filling I also ordered a side salad. The side salad was actually quite large and had different types of greens. Very simply it was an excellent salad. The Sloppy Joe was Outstanding, easily the 2nd best I've ever had. The 1st was my friends mom's, so not available, lol. The fries had a great texture and were very good. The person I was with got the Blueberry Feta Salad. It was very large and pretty. It had lots of blueberries and pecans. It was stated to be wonderful! The portion sizes for the most part was very generous and fairly priced. The service was very friendly and efficient. The food cane out shockingly quickly, though they weren't busy at about 2pm. Overall an easy 5 stars. We will be back. We both stated it needed to go on our repeat list. I highly recommend giving Farmhouse a try!
Possibly the best lunch I’ve had in a while. We had the whitefish sandwich and my father-in-law had the French dip. The fish was perfect cooked. The batter was crispy but thin and it wasn’t greasy at all. Great flavor. The fries were possibly my favorite, crispy but not over cooked. He said his sandwich was pretty good too. The service was great, cheerful and prompt. I was halfway through my iced tea and she had another one on the table without asking. We will definitely be back.

I've heard good things about this place but my experience did not meet the expectations of what I heard. The food was okay more bland not enough flavor. The waitress was nice but didn't come check on the group. I asked for napkins 2-3 times and never got any except for when we first got silverware which I had already used. Service was slow did not meet my expectations. This place was more filled with older folks which is cool but should also up their game for the younger generation. I may or may not go back to try again. Don't let my opinion stop you from going and trying. I hope for better in the future.
Very friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere. We ordered a braised chicken breast with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side salad. The salad was fresh and good. We also ordered a spicy cheese dip with chips. The dip was ok, but needed to add salt ( a lot) and pepper to enhance the taste. The chicken was very thin, the toppings of bar b que sauce, mango salsa was almost thicker than the chicken itself. It also lacked taste, it was very bland. My hubby ordered the smothered meatloaf. It was smothered with mushrooms, onions and cheese.( slices of Provolone). The meatloaf was supper thin, cold, and very dense. I give it 3 stars only because staff was very nice.
