Delicious Papantla-style snacks. The molotes are the best for me, very golden and crispy. The pickled trotters are also very good. The enmoladas are fried plantains with cream and cheese. The prices are very affordable. A good place to go with family or friends.
A great place to sample typical Papantla snacks: molotes, tostadas, enmoladas, tacos dorados, blanditas, chiles rellenos, etc., not forgetting the delicious brain empanadas. This dish is a bit exotic but tasty. Try any of them and you'll surely want more. Oh, and be warned, in hot weather you'll have to endure it because there isn't much ventilation, making for a rather humid atmosphere.

Regional snacks. Made fresh daily. Local fruit drinks. Seasonal fruit juices, as well as purple corn atole and horchata. Typical of the area. Affordable prices. It's recommended to ask about prices before ordering. There are some stew tacos next to the market stairs. Some are quite expensive. Seriously. And well, it all depends on your budget. You'll definitely want to come back for the tamales or enchiladas.
I've always bought snacks there, it was my favorite place compared to others that said they were better, the snacks were very varied and tasty, but lately it takes a long time to buy there, I don't know if they give preference to diners who will eat there and leave those who order to go until they have time, I hope they can speed up that part again, I saw a sign that they are looking for a cook, I hope that improves everything
The enmoladas aren't the traditional kind; the chicken takes away from their originality, and the molotes are very fluffy and thick, nothing like the mogotes from traditional moloteras. The service was good. In short, in my opinion, the molotes and enmoladas leave much to be desired. This is just my personal opinion.

The service is terrible; they clearly show favoritism, and it's incredibly slow. If you're really hungry, don't go here because it takes them 20 to 30 minutes to prepare your food, and they don't even bring it the way you ordered it. You have to remind them of your order several times, and they only bring it when they feel like it. I will definitely never eat there again!
