Drawn by the blackboards advertising PORCINI PIZZA and a truffle-based menu, we went in and ordered the dish of the day, LA PORCINA (sautéed porcini mushrooms and raw porcini mushrooms with parmesan) and the ABBIATEGRASSO by NIGHT (4 cheeses and prosciutto), both AMAZING 😋😋😋 with a light and tasty dough; the atmosphere is relaxed, the staff kind and attentive. We'll be back soon to try their menu. Highly recommended 😋😋😋
I had dinner at Ristorante Napoleona all'Allea in Abbiategrasso with my fiancée and we were thrilled. The food was excellent, with attention to every detail and truly delicious. The service was impeccable, with kind and attentive staff who made us feel pampered throughout the evening. The location is splendid, romantic, and well-kept, perfect for a special dinner. A wonderful experience that I absolutely recommend: quality, atmosphere, and hospitality were top-notch!
We had dinner at Napoleone last Saturday, and I have to say that for a first-time visitor, we were truly satisfied with many aspects of the menu. Mainly the food; we chose not to go for the traditional pizza but to opt for a fish-based menu, having spotted it on their website. We ordered a palette as an appetizer, split in two (really good and plentiful), and two main courses (fried squid and grilled squid), and to finish, a tart tatin for dessert. All this was accompanied by two glasses of vintage white wine with a delightful fruity flavor. I definitely think we'll be back next time to try some of the first courses on the menu; we had a great time. Even though we were outside, the tables were well-spaced and there wasn't excessive noise. The only downside was a few too many flying insects that disturbed our dinner, but that's normal; it can happen. The final bill was fair, I'd say. For the quality offered, the experience is the attention to detail. In fact, special praise also goes to the service, always available, friendly, and very professional—I'd say impeccable. Thanks again, and see you soon!
A new location for "Il Napoleone" Top management. A small flaw is the tables near the entrance, which are a bit cold due to the constant opening and closing. Otherwise, everything is fine. The pizzas are really good (unique semi-whole wheat dough), but perhaps the chocolate cake would have been a little bigger. The portions are really small, while the millefeuille was perfect. The place is really well-kept, and the conversation inside is very quiet.
Good vibes
I spent my Valentine's Day here, so you won't find some dishes, but I want to tell you it's worth it: a restaurant that cares about its customers, a restaurant that knows how to satisfy their palates, from appetizers to main courses, and not forgetting dessert! I was very pleased. I'll be back very soon.
Amazing place and food
A very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and always cheerful. The restaurant menu is all refined and well-curated. I recommend the tagliolini with summer truffle and the risotto with gorgonzola fondue, pears, walnuts, and chocolate. You'll be pleasantly surprised. The pizza is excellent. They use a dough made from a mix of grains, making it very crispy and flavorful. The selection of craft beers completes the experience. Recommended for those who want to try simple yet sophisticated pairings.
Tagliere di salumi buonissimo. Semifreddo ai cachi super. Personale gentile. Ambiente molto carino e curato. Consigliato.
2019: Nice, but I wouldn't go back Edit: I returned after four years and can say the food is excellent; I recommend the classic blueberry risotto. They have a wide variety of pizzas, as well as a very interesting menu. Among the beers, they also offer the local beer "Birra del Parco." The place has a lovely vintage style, and the exterior is also well-kept. It's a place with plenty of seating, but a bit sparsely staffed (at least on the day I was there), and the wait times are quite long. All in all, a great, down-to-earth place to eat well. I'm curious to try more, even though everything was delicious.
Napoleone: A very well-known restaurant in Abbiategrasso, we're taking the opportunity to return after a long time. The atmosphere and colors are typical of a classic restaurant verging on a historic inn. The menu is very comprehensive, ranging from meat to fish, with traditional dishes (ossobuco with risotto) to specialties from outside the region (Abruzzo arrosticini), and seasonal twists. All the dishes we choose are above average, the tuna in particular is truly delicious. The service is attentive and always on point; we had a bit of a wait, but nine of us all ordered different dishes, including three risottos—that's to be expected. The price is moderately high, in line with the dishes chosen and what's stated on the menu.
Last night for dinner with my wife, I made a reservation and was immediately informed that dinner on Saturday was either at 7:30 or 9:00 PM. I opted for 9:00 PM, but then I changed my mind and called again to book for 7:30 PM. They kindly changed my time. The onion soup was good, as was the osso buco with risotto, but I didn't like the risotto very much, it was watered down. My wife had the onion tart, but the ice cream pairing wasn't what she wanted, and the tagliolini with cherry tomatoes were good. The timing was a big flaw: at 8:45 PM, I found myself surrounded by four women waiting for dinner at 9:00 PM, and even if I wanted dessert, I would have felt uncomfortable, so I got up and asked for the bill. The space is cramped, perhaps good for pizza, but the hours are tight.
The pizzas are good, but the waits for takeout are unreasonable. The time indicated by the staff over the phone is never respected, and you have to wait up to half an hour in a cramped environment with unfriendly staff.
The pizza was good, even though I was expecting something else. First of all, they brought us a pizza as an appetizer without a drink. We had a long wait for the first course, and let's not even talk about the wait for the desserts. Then they charged a cover charge for a 2-year-old girl, for whom they didn't even set the table.
Reservation made on January 2nd for the 7th, duly accepted. On January 6th, just over 24 hours later, the reservation was canceled without explanation. I only found out the reason by calling: they decided to open on the 6th and close on the 7th. It was a birthday dinner, no warning and no consideration. Unprofessional.
A terrible experience, one to forget!!!! I booked a table for two on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, making sure, as stated on their website, they made gluten-free pizza. Of course, they said yes. I called back on Thursday, November 6, 2025, asking if they could add two more people because a couple of friends of mine, also interested in gluten-free pizza, had joined me. So, I requested a table for four on Saturday, November 8, 2025, and I asked them to reconfirm that they made gluten-free pizza. Of course, they said yes. I was told over the phone that they had two shifts, the first at 7:30 PM and the second at 9:00 PM. I booked for the first shift. I drove 30 km to get there. When we arrived, we sat down and immediately ordered the gluten-free pizza. I was immediately told they had run out. Regardless of the fact that I booked several days in advance, this inconvenience shouldn't have happened. In any case, I booked for the first serving, so I struggle to understand how they could have run out of gluten-free dough. It was embarrassing; my friends and I drove 30 km to be told they didn't have gluten-free dough. I was incredibly pissed off because something like this can't and shouldn't happen. This is pure disrespect for the customer, and it's also cunning; perhaps they were hoping I'd choose the second course so I'd spend more. Obviously, we left because we couldn't accept this situation. The thing I should have done was call the Guardia di Finanza and have them check when they'd run out of gluten-free dough, because let's face it, this definitely feels like a customer scam. This situation, however, won't end here, because I assure you they will pay for the bad impression I made with my friends, the 30 km there and 30 km back, and the total lack of respect for the customer. I'm already taking steps to do so. They didn't even try to make amends in any way; they simply said, after I got angry, that I was right, in a very superficial and almost sarcastic manner. In any case, avoid this restaurant because people like this don't deserve anything. I'm not giving zero stars because it's just not possible. Massimiliano
