Great food and drink, reasonable prices. The owners are a couple from Thailand, and they are very friendly. It is neat to watch a professional cook. I got a Pad Thai, which was great. La comida fue muy rica, y las bebidas también. Los dueños son una pareja de Tailandia, y son muy amables. Me divierte ver una profesional cocinando, es muy hábil. Pedí un Pad Thai y fue excelente.

Today was my first time at Lord Buddha but it won’t be my last. The food was beyond delicious and Krishna dai was very hospitable. He heard me sniffling with allergies and made me some Nepali tea with ginger which helped a lot. So thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Looking forward to my next meal here.

One of the best authentic Nepali meals I’ve had. The momos were absolutely delicious, perfectly wrapped, juicy, and full of flavor. The menu had a great variety of traditional dishes, all prepared with authentic style. You can really taste the love and tradition in the food. The tikka masala, garlic naan, and vegetable soup were amazing!!! The portion size was big enough for two people. We were staying in CDMX for 1 month and this was a very nice break from tacos. The owner and his wife were very kind, too.

Wow, hands down one of the best Nepali restaurants I’ve ever been to! Honestly better than most places I’ve tried in the U.S. The food is so authentic and made with real care. It’s just one guy and his wife running the grill, so things take a little time, but every bite is totally worth it. I’m from Nepal, and I’ve had Nepali food all my life and this place blew me away. Krishna Dai and Rasmi Bhauju’s delicious, fresh, and comforting dishes were the perfect way to end my trip. If you’re in a hurry, you can always have tea or mango lassi to go. Nepali tea (“chiya” in Nepali) is the best- trust me! But if you have time, make sure to try their chicken momo and paneer dishes. They made everything from scratch in front of us, including the naan which was amazing to watch. Señor Krishna and Señora Rasmi made us feel very welcome and were very attentive. I am glad to have found a little piece of home in this big city.

There is only one place in all of Mexico City that serves momo’s and these are the best momo’s we have ever had. And, trust me when I say that we’ve had a ton of momo’s in our lives. Momo’s are Himalayan dumplings filled with meats or vegetables. Lord Buddha Restaurant makes their momo’s fresh on the spot and it’s absolutely delicious! You absolutely have to try it out. We had the chicken momo’s. They also make vegetarian momo’s, pork, and goat momo’s to name a few. The owner and his wife are very enterprising and wonderful to talk to. Additionally, a lot of the “Indian” food restaurants in Mexico City claim to be serving Indian food, but instead they are either serving Pakistani or Bangladeshi food. This place has legit REAL Indian and or Nepalese food, and it’s incredible. We also loved their paneer pakoras and actually ordered 2 portions of it! They made fresh made ginger chai. We also loved their roti (flat bread), rice, paneer curry(cheese) with peas and potato curry with peas. Again, the paneer pakoras were the best I’ve had in my life. Crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the outside. All their food is incredibly hot and fresh and made with a ton of love. This place is situated in a food mall on the left side pretty close to the entrance.

This small, family-owned restaurant, run by Shiva and his wife, is truly a hidden gem! The food is absolutely amazing, packed with aromatic flavors that are hard to find anywhere else in the Mexico City area. One thing to keep in mind is that the dishes are freshly prepared based on your order, so it's highly recommended to place and confirm your order ahead of time. Good things take time, and trust me, the wait is absolutely worth it! This was my second visit, and once again, I was blown away by the quality of the food and the friendly service. The owners go above and beyond to accommodate your spice preferences and ensure the dish is perfect for you. The restaurant is located inside a multi-level business premise, which adds to its charm. We were a group of four and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh, flavorful food and drinks. If you're looking for a truly satisfying meal, served piping hot and straight from the flame, this place is a must-visit. Thank you, Shiva and family, for the wonderful experience!

What they cook in such a small kitchen amazes me !!! They are amazingly friendly and always welcome us and make some of the most amazing Indian food you will have not just in Mexico City but anywhere in the world !!!! Try their butter chicken with a garlic naan ❤️❤️❤️ Also get their spicy noodles which we just love !! Their dumplings are amazing …. Reminding me of Momo’s in Delhi !!! Then add their dosa and it’s just a dream !! The portions will fill you up but the food will leave you wanting more and more !!!

It is an awesome place 💯 authentic Nepalese place. Had chowmein ( Nepalese noodle) with Momo/ Nepalese dumpling sauce. It was one of the best chowmein that I have ever had. It is a warm place run by a wonderful Nepalese family. So, it is a must try place. You can taste Nepal here in Mexico City !!!

Definitely a must visit for Indian food. Dishes had a homemade touch and are much closer to the tastes you would find at home. Food was prepared with warmth. We ordered Masala chai, vegetable fried rice, dal tadka, veg choumein and Veg momos. Definitely would recommend fried rice and momos. Made fresh and tasted really good.

Best Indian restaurant I've found in Mexico so far. Every dish was extremely flavorful and rich. Most chicken entrees cost around 160 pesos, not including rice, but the portion sizes were pretty filling. This restaurant is inside the food court.

As a Indian tourist I was so excited to see dosa in the menu ordered dosa - my south indian heart couldnt take the dosa - the batter was not good probably wasnt fermeneted and all the chutneys and sambhar served had lime in it - please dont add. potato curry and poori - poori was good and potato curry was a bit sour - I hope we can make just the traditional poori bhaji with chillies and potatoes tea - tasted great - It was a chilly evening and tea was so hearty I also ordered some takeout - they were good as well The place is in a market has three chairs - in front of the kitchen pretty small place - but has outside seating - the couple who run the restaurant were very kind and welcoming - I really hope they can add some helpers so the service could be a lil faster - Overall definitely suggest.

The food was decent but not great. The wait for it was totally unacceptable. It was nearly a full hour before food came out. In the meanwhile, sushi that other family members ordered from the nearby place at the same food court was prepared, served, eaten, cleared, and we then waited 20+ more minutes. When we asked a couple times when the food would come out, we were told something like “soon,” when clearly this was not true.

It’s a tiny outlet in food court area, the chef is the owner along with wife, pretty nice people from Nepal. Very hardworking. Always smiling. Food is not to that mark, may be eat momos and chowmein, but other curries and daal although may have freshly prepared doesn’t taste good. We had to literally throw away anda curry, panner. Again if you are craving for indian food while traveling to Mexico then calm your cravings but dont expect too much.
