Met my wife at this spot for lunch. We actually had meant to go to the ramen spot next door but they were closed for renovations. Anyway, we were glad we came in to Best Thai instead. Seating was immediate and we were sat in a room away from the chatter which was nice. I remember it taking us some time to decide on a dish because there were so many options. Not a bad problem to have. When I saw that they had crab fried rice, I was elated and immediately let the waitress know that was what I wanted. And then I remembered I was having lunch with my wife. Someone would be sleeping in the doghouse that night (me). Anyway, she ordered the pad Thai with chicken. When the crab fried rice came out, I was not expecting the amount of food given. I think the dish could feed an entire village. I may be exaggerating a little bit but it was a lot of food… that I somehow managed to finish entirely. With no scraps left behind. As you may have guessed, it was absolutely delicious. The crab tasted fresh and the rice cooked perfectly. My wife seemed to enjoy her pad Thai. I sampled a piece and it tasted like pad Thai. I generally am not a fan of pad Thai but a wise Thai chef once said “pad Thai should be sweet, salty and sour” and this dish was all of the above. We ended up to go-ing the rest of the pad Thai since the portions are astronomical. The service we received the entire time was outstanding. The waitress was very attentive and we never had to ask for anything. We most definitely will be coming back. In fact, I’m in the mood for crab and will likely stop back in this week.

Khao Soy wasn’t the type I was expecting - but flavor was good. Service was so so— they could have been more patient with our table’s questions. Plus is lots of options.. and good ambiance

I recently tried the vegan buffet at Best Thai, and it was wonderful! Everything tasted delicious, especially the fried taro, yum woon sen soy ham, and purple rice pudding. The pineapple curry tofu dish had tofu wrapped in seaweed, which might not be appealing to those who don't like seaweed. The soup was amazing, packed with vegetables. One thing to note is that there isn't complimentary coffee or tea included in the buffet, and there's a 15% service fee added to the bill, which I think could be included in the buffet price instead. Overall, I loved the experience and will definitely be returning.

I need to start off by saying this place smells like GREAT Thai food. 🤤 Beautiful artwork inside + atmosphere. 😍 The food was satisfying, but not spicy enough. We ordered level 4 spicy out of 5, but it was not spicy AT ALL. Next time we will be getting ‘Thai spicy’. 🌶 We ordered the green curry, five star hot noodles, Tom Yum soup, and vegetable dumplings. I would highly recommend ordering the green curry + five star hot noodles - delicious! 🍛 My partner stated that the Tom Yum soup was also one of the best he had had! 🍲 The dumplings were cold on the inside and looked like they were already sitting out and not fresh + not much flavour. The staff forgot to give our hot sauce and green tea so we had to ask twice for them to finally bring it out and it wasn’t even that busy. Overall, a great Thai spot with a whole section for vegetarians. 👍🏼

This is a good place to try Thai food. They have a large menu with multiple soup and noodle options as well as vegetarian recipes and desserts. Nice traditional decor and comfortable indoor seating. The food is good and tasty and the service is attentive. Overall a good experience but I would definitely not rate it as a top performer.

Tried the larb, green curry, and pad kee mao. All the dishes had the right ingredients, but the flavors were a little off—it was OK, just not quite authentic. It almost felt more like a Thai-fusion take than traditional Thai food. Still decent overall, but didn’t fully hit the mark for me.

Portions were small, and the Pad Thai was overcooked with the tofu burnt. Even the lime served was less than a quarter of a slice. While the service was good, be aware that they will ask for a tip, make sure to taste your food and speak up if something feels off.

This spot has vegan options that have a dedicated section. I indulged in two appetizers and they were just okay, nothing spectacular. I had the Pad Kee Mow with tofu and it was good.

I tried it and I wouldn't return. Overall the service was not great and the food was mediocre. I've had better Thai food and service elsewhere for a lot cheaper. This place is overpriced in my opinion. The staff was not friendly or attentive which made the dining experience not so great. It wasn't busy when we visited so there's no reason why I had to keep waving down the staff for their attention. Our waiter did not introduce herself and looked like she was upset the entire time. We didn't see her smile or show any type of personality the entire time we were there. I was ready to get out of there away from her energy.

Really inconsistent to be honest. They’re never that bad but i order the same thing every time and the spice level they give me is WILDLY different depending on the day (sometimes I taste nothing at all, sometimes my mouth is completely on fire from a single bite). Same with the noodles - sometimes they’re absolutely perfect, other times there’s hardly any noodles in my dish… of noodles. When it’s good, it’s the best - enough to have me keep coming back and put up with the less satisfying orders. Today may be the last shot though - almost inedible spicy noodles (which were only set to a 1 because I do know they play spicy roulette there), and they’re weirdly shredded (??) and most of the container is just tofu. So sad. Last time I ordered here it was some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had.

I normally don’t leave negative food reviews because I understand sometimes things happen. But i ordered 3 different things from the menu and disappointment with each one. 1. The thai tea had too much milk hardly any tea. 2. Tom yum soup was watered down, hardly any flavor even though i asked for medium spice. 3. The real reason why I’m writing this review is because there was a piece of plastic inside my PadThai order when I got home.

Absolutely terrible food. It tastes nothing like what it used to taste. The quantity of food is half of what it was before. This was our go to place. We use to drive 30-40 mins just to reach there. Avoid definitely not worth it.

I’m a bit confused if this is “Too Thai” or “Best Thai Signature Addison” — when I walked in, the sign said Too Thai, but GPS and the outside banner said Best Thai Signature. Either way my experience didn’t live up to the Too Thai standard I’ve known from Carrollton. If this was supposed to be Too Thai, it missed the mark. The portion sizes, flavor, ingredient quality and speed of service at the Carrollton location are on a completely different level - this felt nowhere close. If it’s Best Thai Addison, then yes the food leaned more towards Americanized Thai. It tasted okay, but the portions were very underwhelming. For example, the Crying Tiger was $16 for about ten tiny slices of thinly cut beef, served with what tasted like plain soy sauce instead of the traditional tangy dipping sauce. It felt like eating plain beef with soy sauce — definitely not the Crying Tiger experience I was expecting. The Tom Yum soup had basic white mushrooms, the kind you get from Walmart and the hot pot portion for Tom Yum was surprisingly small, especially compared to other Thai spots in the area — let alone Too Thai Carrollton. I was honestly excited at first, hoping to find a new go-to spot closer to home but unfortunately this didn’t live up to expectations. It would really help if the restaurant clarified their identity and what kind of experience diners should expect.
