Sat at the bar lady working the bar was super nice and great attitude attending the food came out super delicious ordered a burger and a Oreo shake which was real good and the fresh cut fries delicious

This was my first coming to Jake’s and it will not be my last. I have looking for a great burger place in Dallas and I am 100% positive this place is it. All inclusive with great food and bar. We went on Tuesday and dined-in with Gaby who is absolutely amazing. Her and my boyfriend talked about the original location, so she is knowledgeable about the history of this place, and willingly talked me through the menu being that I’m a vegetarian and had never been. She made the experience memorable. Made sure our food was correct and came out in a timely manner. She continued to check on us while eating. Definitely a great example of what makes a great bartender. Otherwise, no complaints food or portion size. You have to try the homemade BBQ sauce and hands down the BEST black bean burger in town! Thank you Jakes and thank you Gaby!

We had a need for our burger fix & went to Jake’s in Addison. It was long time that we had one & that won’t happen again. Was a 6 star experience & forgot how special it was. I went to the original on Skillman in the 80’s & was having flashbacks. Gabby was awesome & made it extra special at the bar! Top 3 of all time

The Jake's Addison location has one of the best brunch breakfast in town. The pancakes are HUGE! you get a lot value at a good price. My definite go to spot for brunch. Special shout out to Peter, AJ & Edith

Was here last weekend and this weekend, I really love the consistency of the staffs service and the great food. Last week I had the black and blue burger this week I tried the wings and loaded fries and they were great. I had JR last week and he's amazing! Great burger. I got the Jake's special and my wife got the turkey burger. Both were very good. The poppy seed bun adds a unique flavor. Our table was near the bar, so Jeff, the bartender, was our waiter. He was great as well.

We had Raquel as our server on a Friday evening and she was phenomenal. I was catching up with an old friend and we were so distracted talking that we kept forgetting to look at the menu to order, but she was so sweet and we never felt rushed or neglected. Atmosphere for a Friday evening was more chill than I was expecting and the food was very tasty. Came out hot out of the kitchen. My personal favorite was the sweet potato fries with a marshmallow fluff dipping sauce. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

Visited here for the for lunch today. This was my first visit to this location. When I walked in my first thought was… wow, this place is clean. I had a chicken sandwich, it was really good. It’s not over fancy or overpriced. Just a good local spot with good grub. I will be back for sure.

Just had lunch here and wow. Our server Sharron V was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed. The food was good and filling. They have plenty to choose from even some breakfast items. If you haven’t already check this place out the burgers taste good the cheese burger always melts in your mouth at the first bite. Something I also love is we have been to a couple of different locations and the service and food are consistent across all locations. I highly recommend!

Visiting family in the Dallas area and she brought us here. I was blown away by the presentation of the food. It came out exactly like the photos on their menu and even better all 5 of us had Zero complaints on taste. I had the avocado, toast, egg meal and it has been the best yet! Hubby got the jalapeño bottle cap burger and tots and loved it! Definitely a good choice as they serve brunch, lunch and dinner. Service was also great. Definitely going back when we’re in town.

Ryan was our server and he was amazing. He answered my question about certain things and even made jokes with us. The salad/ wings/ pickel chips drinks and desserts was amazing as well. An he was able to take an additional order for us for carry out! Give this place a 100/100

Went in for my birthday to celebrate with family, and our waiter was patient as we took a while to order. He got all our orders right, and even recommended a drink for my birthday. The drink was so good and just right on the alcohol ratio. The burgers were delicious. It was our first time at Jake’s, so I had to try the chili frito pie burger. Yummy! The cheese loaded fries had the right amount of jalapeños and so it gave it a great kick. The wings were cooked well and not raw. They were very good. The fried cheese sticks were a bit too skinny and felt we needed more cheese. Either way, Hats off to the cook. The tables were super clean. Will defy come back.

Should you find yourself in North Dallas and hankering for a chicken fried steak, allow me to recommend Jake's Burgers and Beers. 💯 A really good steak was the base, the coating was incredibly crunchy and packed with flavor. There was even a spicy heat that you don't typically find in one of these. The gravy is better than your grandma's and the onion rings were just as great. There's a 2nd bowl of gravy just outside the frame and I promise you that I dipped everything -steak, fries, rings, bread - until both bowls were gone. But the French fries steal the show - Wow, honestly some of the best fries I've had! 🍟 The service is quick and friendly, prices are more than fair. You're definitely going to want to check this place out. 🍻

The look gives a simple chain establishment. The first service we had day time wise was amazing. Dinner time was a bit lacking an they were not busy. Both times the food came out quick and perfect! Foods great! We are here twice we loved it so much.

I love love love Jakes cause they never disappoint, and this visit was no exception. I got the Chicken Fried Bacon Burger, added sautéed onions and mushrooms, and a fried egg, and it was delicious! 😋 For my side, I got the sweet potato fries with marshmallow dipping sauce. First, thank you Peter for your kindness and attentiveness. Came in for a bite to eat in between events and he took good care of me. :) I had Swiss burger and a cobb salad. Burger is delicious! Only thing I wish was different is the mushrooms.. I could tell they were canned instead of fresh sautéed mushrooms. Outside of that, DELICIOUS and filling. 💗

The jalapeño bottle cap burger is really big and tasted very good. I also liked the fried pickles, they were crunchy and thin like I like them. I got fries too and they were good, I just wished the portion was bigger. I will definitely come back!

Best burgers in town! Ordered the #48 with tots to go. It took some time but was worth every minute! It was the most flavorful burger I've had in forever. The tots were hot and salty (like me). Can't wait to go back and try more great food.

The food was good, but the service could be a lot better. Decided to dine in instead of take out. The male server was nice and friendly but messed up alot with the order. First we ordered lemonade he brought coke, we ordered 1 sweet potato fries, 1 onion ring, he brought 2 onion rings, forgot lids for containers, had to ask again and my take out order (for later) he forgot the mayo and ketchup as ordered. You can tell he half listens and ready to go from the table. Also no clarification on the buns. All the burgers were poppy seed, but to me, as a default, if you're not going to ask, put the burgers on regular buns. He really needs to write things down and then repeat the order. I noticed other tables it was the same. Even cups were emptied before he returned to ask for refills. In any event, I would return but take out as usual.

A nice restaurant worth returning. We came here with a few coworkers and overall we believed it was worth coming back. The store has a new design with open ceilings and naturally illuminated. I had the Jalapeño Burger and it was quite large, it actually didn't fit a full bite and I had to cut it. The fries need to be ordered separately which seems to be a new trend but I would rather keep it simple for the consumer. The food tasted fresh and the portion sizes are generous. Service was friendly and quick.

Found this place when looking for something to eat. The service here was nice, friendly, and fast. I give five stars to the waiters. The food meanwhile was all right. I was good, but nothing to write home about. What did upset me though is that the fries don't come with most meals such as the burgers, but have to be purchased as a side at an additional cost.

Delicious hamburgers and sides, very friendly and nice service. The only downside is that the place had a permanent smell of bathroom, which eventually you learn to ignore. Other than that, I absolutely recommend it.

Came by for dinner because we were craving a burger. It wasn’t busy at all so we were seated quickly. Ordered mozzarella sticks- very good. I had some wings and honestly they were really good- not too spicy but it had a kick to it. Jake’s special was good as well- good flavor and the thousand island dressing wasn’t overbearing. My son had the Jake burger and I assumed it was good because he devoured it lol. Tater tots were really good but the fries were soggy. The service was rough especially it not being busy. Over it was good and we will be coming back.

I was not impressed. I have been to the Jakes on Main Street in Grapevine. I honestly don't remember how that visit was. We did takeout at the Addison location. I ordered a patty melt that the menu said was on rye. What was not obvious was that the order screen required a bread selection. That selection was defaulted to Texas Toast. And there was no rye option. The real problem was that none of this was clear. I would not have ordered a patty melt on some pathetic white bread piece of Texas toast. Worse, the Texas toast wasn't even really grilled. AND the onion rings I got were not crispy. I think they picked up too much moisture in the foam box that they were in. And it's not like the food sat around for a long time. It might be telling that there was not a single car in the parking lot or a single customer in the restaurant at about 5:15 pm on a Monday. That's not really prime time, but NOT ONE customer? I would not go back.

3.3 stars. 1st time to visit this location. Burger was a tad greasy. The Jumpin’ Jake Fries ($4.29) were a huge disappointment. They were cold, stale, and chintzy on the serving size. Fortunately, the employee waiting on us was attentive and friendly.

So I waited 20 minutes for an order of fries and they weren’t even hot! The place is nice! The staff not so much!

Chicken sandwich was cold and under seasoned. Wait staff disappeared after taking order even though we were seated at the bar.

Blue Goose was better for this location. The service here sucks. Went in Saturday night. The bar tender and server just pretended not to see me sitting. Waiting watching them walk by. Nice place for the most part. Came in last night with my family after a family event. The host and bartender were nice but our waitress was barely there. but she was ready to give us the check when it was time to pay. This isn’t our first bad experience either. Are all Jakes like this?

Service was horrible. Witnessed the general manager ( AJ ) cause two waitresses to quit. Horrible attitude. Not fit to be a leader. Shows a lot about who Jake’s decides to hire. Will never be back and will tell everyone to stay away.

I just had one of the worst experiences here at Jakes. First off Orrsam J the bartender told me he would be right with me, and proceeded to go and ask others if they needed help while my food continued to sit there on the counter, it took this nice women who was leaving for the day to help get my food and then when I get home everything is cold and soggy and I don’t even live that far from Jakes!!! We are a family of 4 that spend no less than $50 each time and we will not be returning here and I hope the owner sees this so something can be done

Very unprofessional environment. I witnessed their general manager cause two employees to quit (one being my server at the time) Yelling, cussing and to top it off threatening a pregnant waitress that he was going to call Addison police department if she didn't leave. If that is who Jakes as a business decides to hire as a leader of the store I will never be back. He definitely needs to be humbled.

Do not come here to eat. They have a general manager that’s not worth the cost of the napkins they have. AJ yelled at this young cashier in front of everyone and caused her to quit and in turn caused another waitress to quit at the same time. Threatening to call police on a pregnant waitress not even raising her voice. Will never be back and will tell everyone to avoid
