When I’m living a solo year for Valentine’s day and it’s on a Saturday like this year I like saving the Friday for guessing which couples will make it and which will not. I save the day of to celebrate me, as all of us solos should. This time I selected Al Solito Posto ( @alsolitoposto ). It was my first time there, and was surrounded by pure love. No staring at their phones with dead hearts. No arguing. No drama. Just peace & smiles. It warmed this heart on life support. How was the feast? Truly amazing! Honestly, this may have taken my top spot in town, definitely in the top five for an Italian feast. I added shaved black truffles in the Cappelletti ( sweet potato, pancetta, brown butter & sage ) which absolutely blew my mind. I hope they make this seasonal dish a permanent resident in the menu, and the Nigerian Tiger Prawns were the best variation of that style dish I’ve ever had. When I go back I’d the get the exact same stack! IG: @alsolitoposto
By far one of the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in Vegas! The ambience was incredible, the food fresh & delicious, no error or issues with anything. This spot is the go to place for drinks, excellent Italian food. It’s a vibe❤️
Alright, I have to admit Italian is my least liked food, only because I like my food exploding with spices and flavors, Italian just seems like a lot of basic flavors. This place was absolutely delicious 👍🏼 I ordered the lasagna because it’s easy, and sure they can’t get it wrong.. and I was correct! I would order it again, bread was fresh and delicious, I will definitely be coming here again. My husband loved his chicken Marsala, I had some, well seasoned and tasty
Was recently in Las Vegas and decided to venture off The Strip, to happen upon this highly recommended cozy Italian restaurant 20 minutes outside the city. What a delightful surprise to find this gem as it's rustic Old World demeanor belies the fantastically delicious cuisine directly from shores of Italy! We had the the amazing homemade sausage stuffed rigatoni, and the highlight for me was one of the best sausage and mushroom thin crust pizzas in my culinary experience! The mozzarella cream puffs on the pizza were like the icing on a cake. Do not miss out on an authentic Italian culinary experience in this not-so-hidden gem of a restaurant!
We went to celebrate our anniversary last night. It was crowded considering Tuesday night at 7.30pm we have to wait like 5 minutes which is totally fine just surprised:) every dishes are great, artichoke is very special, it is best artichoke dish i ever had. Wine is great, price is great comparing to quality, n atmosphere. Service is very good, but a bit slow. However it might be because the crowded but they train well, we get to served bread n garlic while waiting to order, so even it takes long time we get our water n something on table. Overall it is our great choice, they asked if we celebrate anything n served surprised italian cake for anniversary gift. We definitely highly recommend n love to go back. The place is good for celebrating, hangout n enjoy with food. Probably not much for young kids but nothing against us to bring our kids.
Great service, our waitress was lovely. Came here for my birthday and it was really fun. The pasta was way better than anything you can get in the strip. The staff was kind. We had the wagyu beef carpaccio which was a standout. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was a great experience
Beautiful dining. The host and staff were professional and ready to give the best service. Bonus: They have a coat rack which made the experience more upscale. The mood was set in all areas of their dining options. Our server he was fast in the beginning, recommended his favorite dish and remember it was a birthday celebration. However, he lacked personality and did not check up on us after we received our food. A shoutout to the server partner, he made sure our water was refilled, table wiped, dishes removed. He went up and beyond in service and he had personality. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. The bread was excellent. Free parking and beautiful village to walk around before or after. I recommend evening dining here because the lights enhanced the overall atmosphere. Great for locals and tourists.
Five stars, easy. Al Solito Posto knows how to host a room and feed a crowd. We held our Whiskey Club event here and it was flawless from start to finish. The food hit every note, the attention to detail showed, and the service never missed a beat. Chris, the manager, was spectacular, and the entire staff moved with confidence and care. If you’re planning a holiday party, a celebration, or any gathering that deserves great food and effortless hospitality, this is the place. Highly recommended
Al Solito, meaning "The usual place" in Italian, has been a culinary gem in Tivoli village in Las Vegas for the past four years. Recommended by Heather from Feast with Friends, offers an experience that's both refined and comforting. The staff, including server Amir, managers Nada and Matthew, and Fabiola, are attentive, ensuring a seamless dining experience. The restaurant boasts an impressive selection of wines from Italy, California, and beyond, including the Sicilia Anamaria Sala and wines curated by Mary Taylor, an American importer who brings unique overseas selections. The Chef’s Choice menu begins with fresh focaccia, perfectly paired with Tuscan olive oil, roasted garlic, Italian herbs, and sea salt. The antipasti include spicy mussels, squash blossoms, and Nonna’s meatballs, each dish prepared with a modern twist. For the main course, the Chicken Marsala and Nigerian Prawn Scampi stand out, alongside the classic Rigatoni ala Vodka. For dessert we enjoyed Apple Crostata and Tiramisu, enjoyed with a cappuccino. The prix fixe dinner at $50 per person, which includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert, offers great value. With a private dining area and options for special events, Al Solito is more than just a restaurant, it’s a destination.
I'm full One of those restaurant where there are no wrong choices, it's all so delicious From the complimentary focaccia and garlic confit/oil to the hazelnut freddo dessert, nothing missed The $50 experience was a great value for sharing lots of different foods. Every course was a full portion and amazing. The only issue I had was the "supplement" items in the 3-course. Supplement means "in addition to"/add-on, supplement on the menu meant a premium replacement for the standard choices, not an add-on Alfonson (and his assistant) was a wonderful server! Really made the experience perfect
Al Solito Posto blew us away! The service was top-tier—attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Now let’s talk about that bolognese… WOW. Rich, flavorful, perfectly cooked pasta—easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Everything about this spot just hits right. If you’re craving authentic Italian with great vibes, this is your place.
If 10 stars was an option, I'd do that. My friends and I are huge foodies and I have to say this is the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten in my entire life. I will dream about Al Solito Posto and the tender pasta. About the magically fresh baked bread with garlic/olive oil dip and the calamari that was so tender, a baby could eat it. The Caesar salad dressing balanced the cheese, anchovies and garlic better than an acrobat on a high wire. The crunch on the canoli was perfect, delicate and flaky, filled with delicious ricotta and finished with tiny chocolate chips, and the hazel nut pot de creme was absolutely TO DIE. To top it off, this symphony of flavors is on a prix fixe menu of only $50 pp. I will be bringing more friends here, if you're reading this you need to bring all of your friends here, because if it ever goes out of business I will have to move out of the city because my Italian cuisine choices will be dead to me.
Food and service were excellent. I didnt get pictures of all the items we got but there is nothing really we had to complain about. The bread to start out with is dangerously addicting. The pizza and pastas were amazing. Our server and helpers were on top of everything we needed. We would definitely come back here any day. Maybe only dessert can get some improvement but other than that, great experience!
Their spaghetti is so good, that it's hard to describe. It is packed with flavor, lots of garlic, and despite it's simplicity, it tastes incredible. My wife had the Salmon and she couldn't stop saying how delicious it was with each bite. We have been there a few times and loved it each time. Outstanding!!!! We have now returned a few more times and we have had a wonderful experience each and every time.
Service was excellence and so was the environment. Spacious and comfortable seating. Server was attentive the entire time. The food has ups and downs. Calamari sublime. Complimentary bread excellent. The pizza’s crust was not the best though the topping was well seasoned. The tiramisu is too firm for my preference and though they said there was marsala I typically prefer a stronger alcohol taste. Overall a great restaurant. But wish the food had more consistency across the board.
MY NEW FAVORITE ITALIAN RESTAURANT! Came here for my birthday with my family and loved it! The bread with roasted garlic and oil I’d my favorite thing there. Liked it so much I kept on asking for it. Cacio Pepe if the best I’ve had. (Not in pictures) Short rib pasta, rigatoni bolognese, and spaghetti bolognese were good. I also has their Cesar salad and the anchovies were delicious. I need to go back I have dreams about the bread 😁
I made a reservation for 3 and didn't even think about gluten-free options. They went out of their way to make a mushroom risotto (not on the menu/no picture) for my stepdaughter who can't have gluten. I also requested cinnamon for my cappuccino, and our server went out of her way to get some for me. It's always a great experience here.
Went to Al Solito Posto and overall it was a solid experience. The Nigerian shrimp was bomb and honestly the complimentary bread with the oil they give might have been the star of the night! so good. The anchovy caesar salad, on the other hand, was way too salty for me. The ambiance is really nice, definitely feels like a great spot for a birthday dinner or celebration. Just a heads up though, it does get super loud inside, so don’t expect a quiet dinner!
We got tired of the over rated Italian joints around the the strip and decided to give Al Solito Posto a try. The location is nice, inside of the Tivoli complex, it has some charm. The interior of the restaurant is traditional steak and chops with open kitchen, comfortable. Great attentive service. Great wine menu. The appetizers were good, especially the grilled octopus. It is not just the standard garlic, parsley, olive oil combo that you get in most places, it comes with sauteed scallions, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc. It was very refreshing. The Cioppino, there were a ton of seafood in it, huge shrimps, mussels, I wish there was more halibut but over all a very flavorful seafood stew. The tomato fennel soup base was rich, just the right amount of seasoning. The Chicken Parm was underwhelming, it was overly salty, the chicken was a bit too dry. The spaghetti below the chicken was over cooked, completely stuck together and soggy. We didn't really eat it. The worst came at the end when we were given the tiny celebratory piece of the Italian rainbow cake with a squirt of whipped cream topped with sprinkles. It was the driest piece of cake that I have had in a very long time, so you can forget about the taste. I think you will find a better cake in the Super Walmart bakery. I wish they would've kept that piece of free cake, it actually just ruined our entire dinner experience. I think that came from the free cake batch.
First and last time we will be eating at this restaurant. There are better Italian restaurants in Las Vegas for the same or lower price. Nothing really special on the menu. Standard Italian restaurant menu, Off strip restaurant offering strip prices. Food review: caprese salad, not quite ripe slices of small tomato weges with a golf ball size piece of burrata cheese. The $39 Swordfish special, slightly overcooked fish drowning in balsamic vinaigrette that wasn't mentioned in the description by the waiter. Chicken marsala, well prepared didn't try it but wife said it was good. Broccoli rabe, wasn't expecting so much garlic and chili oil and a little crunchier than I would expect but I'm sure lots of people like it prepared like that. Only other issue we had was the 25-minute wait between our appetizer/bread and our entree. After 20 minutes ask the waiter about our food, went to check then one of the two managers came by and said food would be out soon and apologized for the delay but they had 50 more customers than normal due to private parties. So they're making an extra 5 to $7,000 in revenue and we just have to wait. Ok. After we finished our dinner the other manager came over and offered us two free cannolis which we said no thank you and so he put them in a to-go box and brought them to us anyways. The waiter was nice and friendly. Lots of TVs at the bar so not a great premium Italian dining ambiance. I get it trying to be everything to everyone but probably better to decide if you're going to be a premium Italian restaurant or a local pub eatery with an Italian menu. I'm sure it's possible on a different night we could have had a completely different experience but there are so many great Italian restaurants here in Las Vegas that we would not coming back here.
Located at Tivoli Village. No street parking when we went bc the night market was on. We normally valet but the car was dirty and was embarrassed to park at valet. We parked behind the restaurant bc we didn't want to park in the underground garage and have to smell fumes. Plenty of FREE parking. Nice decor. Now the bad news: showed up at 811pm. Seated right away. Wasn't served bread till 911pm. Yes, a whole HOUR! Good news, the bread was free lol. They even have bread service. Think tableside guacamole but instead garlic, herbs and olive oil mixed at your table. The bread was good. But so late. Ordered the branzino. Was burnt. Fish was bland. I think I counted 6 capers on my plate. Sauce was too tangy. Almost sour. I didn't even finish it. The capressi was underwhelming. There should be one piece of basil per tomato. There was probably 8 pieces of tomato and 4 pieces of basil. They didn't offer fresh pepper or salt. It was so bland. Whoever salted the brocolini just poured the salt on there without mixing it bc some parts were overly salty and other parts were bland. The mushrooms were good. Moscato is not offered as an entire bottle but tried a glass and it was too bitter for me. Their Fiore De Tromonto was too strong so I switched it to the Tropical Mule, which tasted so much like ginger, I couldnt drink it. I equated it to drinking a ginger kombucha. The best thing was the apple dessert. It was like a warm apple pie crostata. Came with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. The restaurant was SO noisy. Think UNLV cafeteria during lunch/dinner. Would I go back. Hard pass.
Nice location with plenty of of parking The food is ok but just a tack salty for my liking. Octopus appetizer is passable. Lamb is nicely cooked but I didn’t enjoy the company on the plate. It was so oily and blend. Steak is slightly overcooked but acceptable at the moment. Tomato based pasta was tasty and hot in temperature; I love. Clam pasta is a little salty. My favorite is the garlic oil mix and bread service. Staff Service is nice and everyone works very hard but it is not giving any Italian vibe at all.
