Great food, friendly staff, very clean front and back of house (you have to go through the food prep area to access the bathroom - and it is spotlessly clean!!!) I got the Beef Gyro Combo. The beef was cooked and seasoned to perfection. It comes with fries and a drink. Portions are huge! Definitely my new go-to spot for Mediterranean food. Next on my items to try are their fusion burritos (my friend got one, and damn. That's a BIG burrito) or there breakfast burrito! They also have a special of the day where every day is a different special.
BEST BREAKFAST BURRITOS! I love this place and have eaten way too many of their burritos lol The salty spicy and sweet flavors are so unique and I love that they use real eggs so they are not runny and they are always fresh and hot. Not to mention the fresh tortillas that really seal the deal. You have to order at the kiosk but it makes it easy to join their rewards and get your 6th burrito free! The workers are also generally nice and you have to try their jalepeno ranch on the side.
One of Davis best. Difficult to pay cash however.
Awesome seating outside that gets shady in the evenings. Just close enough to watch the bike counter. Good is great and sooooo cheap. It makes the awesome food taste even better. I was wondering why I don’t eat there every day.
Had the regular breakfast burrito with extra egg, extra bacon, less honey. I've had a lot of breakfast burritos but man this one was up in the top tier, one of the best. I thought the honey was a weird addition but it was the best part. With the amount of extra stuff on mine and the honey all throughout the burrito it fell apart and I was barely able to hold it together to finish it. Messy experience, probably avoided by not getting extra egg and bacon. Definitely recommend less honey, I did this and there was a LOT on it.
Delicious food and very reasonably priced! Breakfast burritos are great, for sure my favorite breakfast burritos in the area, but don't forget to try some of their other dishes too! The owner is also really nice and respectful. Definitely reccomend coming here for any meal of the day!
The breakfast burritos are so good! If you're on a budget, this place is comparatively cheaper to others and the taste is awesome! If you don't eat egg, try replacing with falafel instead!
Food is delicious but it gets super crowded on Sunday morning. Their breakfast burrito fits perfectly in my bikes bottle holder 🚲
One of the best burger places I have ever went to. Onion fries are super thick and delicious, white sauce is amazing try that as well. Bacon cheeseburger is great as well. If I ever end up going to davis, this restaurant probably going to be my cheat day meal
Really good burritos here. Perfect way to start a morning. They coffee is amazing as well ... You wouldn't go wrong if you just come and grab a burrito of your choice and a vietnamese coffee... Celebrate a decent morning and go on your day!
One of the best breakfast burritos you can get here in Davis. The online menu is super easy to use so you can customize your burrito anyway you want it. I personally love the touch of honey that they put in their breakfast burrito, something about it really sets off the flavor of it. I would also suggest signing up for their rewards program because after so many burritos you get one free.
I had the regular breakfast burrito with bacon, eggs, gyro, added avocado, cheese, fries, with hot sauce and light honey with a mango Arizona tea as recommended by a local and it was divine. The creaminess of the avocado, the crunch of cheesy fries, crisp bacon, perfectly cooked eggs and gyro meat, accompanied by the slight sweetness of honey and the tinge of a mild hot sauce was EVERYTHING that I never knew I needed. This is now an essential breakfast that I need to have whenever I’m in this part of Davis. Thank you Ali Baba, you’ve made me a customer for life. ❤️
This food is great! Its a location close to campus which is convenient and well priced to get a nice meal. I had the chicken gyro and found it tasty and filling. Plus employees were nice when I had visited. And of course who can forget the breakfast burrito and trust me its fantastic. Definitely a food to try when in Davis.
Place was busy but ordered was received quickly. We ordered breakfast burritos. The regular ones are ready made and up fast, the vegetarian on took a little longer. Large serving size, pretty hefty burritos. Burritos were delicious. Goes great with their house sauce.
One of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had
I went after a friend strongly recommended this place. the breakfast burrito is a BEAST, this thing is huge! it was delicious. I saw the honey in the ingredients but it was still a bit sweeter than I was expecting. not a bad thing but that did make it a bit sticky to eat haha. I wish I'd taken a picture before I'd started eating but I was too excited to try it out. I also tried the baklava which was really good. nice and flaky with the perfect portion size. the place is small and got packed/loud pretty quickly. you order on the tablets against the wall and your order will be in a paper bag stapled closed with your name on it on the front counter. the process is pretty painless. registering your phone number at the kiosk let's you rack up points - I believe the sign said that if you get 6 burritos the next one is free.
Tablet ordering made this really simple and fast. Food was delicious and exactly what I wanted: the perfect breakfast burrito
Holy cow this is like Davis’ version of USC’s Dulce breakfast burrito. My friend and I were literally full until 5pm and we got this at 10am. The tomato made the veggie burrito drippy so I’d recommend getting it without. It also runs very sweet compared to the regular (meat) burrito but both are SO worth a try. This is the kind of place that college students think about after they’ve graduated. Definitely stop by if you are in Davis!
The breakfast burrito did not disappoint. I love the flavor that comes from the honey and the tapatio. The burrito came out hot and quick. I don’t think the price is bad for the size as it is very filling.
HONEY ON THE BURRITO???? genius. I just had the veggie breakfast burrito and it was so good. I think it's odd that it costs money for small changes like taking ingredients out, putting it on the side, or for even cutting the burrito in half. However, the price is good for what you get and it is so yummy. I want to try the gyros next.
I went for their well-known breakfast burrito ($9.95) and got the veggie version for take-out. Staff were friendly and I ordered, paid, and received a warm foil bundle of burrito in a paper bag all within 5 minutes. The burrito is a cacophony of flavors and textures: the soft potato fries, the tapatio spice tempered by the sweetness of honey, the fried eggs with juicy tomatoes and mushrooms giving a hint of umami. I enjoyed this mix of flavors and the slightly toasted tortilla that held it all together. As I was chowing down, someone loudly remarked "who would pay $9 for a burrito?!" Whoops...that would be me. Worth it, I see why this is a popular option among students. It was filling and is a great, fast option for breakfast or lunch (or even dinner!).
This place is so good. I went there with a friend for the first time and I was sad that I didn't know the place longer. It was crowded, but everything goes smoothly and fast. Their food is to die for and it is cheap. That is why is full of students. On the picture I posted, you can see their mushroom, bacon, cheeseburger which was 7 dollars. I have heard that their burritos are also unbelievable delicious.

Amazing breakfast burrito. Always stop by for some when driving past Davis. Very quick service and food is always warm.
The burrito is amazing and is ready to go in less than 5 minutes every time. The workers are also really nice and offered me and my friends free burgers and they were delicious. Come here if you want tasty and cheap food.

The breakfast burritos are delicious as is, but I paid extra for extra beef gyro and didn't get any noticeable additional meat. For a $1 upcharge, I expected at least a few more pieces of meat..... In a previous visit I also paid extra for the burrito to be cut in half... (+$0.75 just to cut the burrito) and they didn't even cut it so I had to ask again. Good food.... but beware that modifications may not be followed even if you pay a hefty price for them.
The breakfast burrito is good and comes out fast as long as you don’t get any modifications. If you get anything else, you might have to wait a bit longer. Decent prices
The breakfast burrito was very tasty. Sweet and spicy and savory with good eggs and cheese. I definitely recommend that. Unfortunately the mocha coffee I was served was undrinkable. Disappointed considering the $7 price for the coffee. Get the burrito, avoid the coffee.
Serious comfort food. I had the gyro, and it's the best gyro I've had in a long time. Shared the breakfast burrito with gyro meat, bacon, potatoes, cheese, and eggs - honey even. Savory. Awesome job! Order online and get it with the quickness. The Aggies are on the pulse of this one. Unfortunately, they're not consistent. Fast, but not consistent.
Good quality burger. It was reasonably priced for a good in house made burger. Well seared and juicy. Fries were a bit on the weak side. Overall I would rate this burger under Redrum.

So this is one of those rare instances where I am not rating based on my own experiences but that of others. This place is a go to destination for almost everyone I know. Most people get the vegetarian breakfast burrito. I personally, for whatever reason, don't like it. And maybe because it's the signature dish my view is skewed. I do like their mushroom cheeseburger and that is usually what I get although I would prefer a full portobello rather than a meat patty with mushrooms. Regardless, if you don't like the breakfast burrito, you are one in a thousand. It's a safe, convenient and trusted food for every student on campus.
Atmosphere not the best, ordering only online, but the breakfast butrito does hit. Overall, popular and good food options, but I prefer other options. Even the nearby Guads has better burritos in my opinion. But hey, it's worth a try, and it's consisent.

Came here from the recommendation of an Aggie who said Ali Baba was his go-to spot for burritos, specifically vegetarian breakfast burritos. It was super crowded when we came in for lunch around 11 AM on a Saturday. It remained crowded throughout the entire time. Luckily, we grabbed a table in the corner to eat. It was a bit hard navigating the napkins, water cups, and sauces while there's a bunch of people standing around. We ordered using the screen on the side of the restaurant. I think you can also order at the cashier? We didn't hear our name called, so we just had an estimate of when it'd be done and we picked up the food when we thought it was ready. It seemed like it was done way sooner than we thought. I'm not the world's expert on breakfast burritos, but nothing stood out to me about it. Maybe it was the buildup of anticipation before our first bite. Maybe it was the crowd of people that made it feel like they were also here for this burrito. I drowned it in hot sauce and ate it anyway. I could see it being a worthwhile thing if I was a broke college student who needed to get full quickly. However, it's not something I would get again.
Sometime in June, I ordered a hamburger, no mayo. I got it, and it was slathered in mayo. This evening I got the gyro and my girlfriend ordered a hamburger, no mayo. Once again, it was covered in mayo. Either fulfil the order according to the choices, or don't make them choices on the website.
I had the breakfast burrito and I liked the taste; adding the honey adds a bit of sweetness that I thought was unique and a good decision. However, for the price of a $10, it is small. I also do like how tightly packed the burrito is, as it keeps the food held together well so I didn't have any fear of making a mess and having stuff fall out. Another gripe I have though is how many surcharges there are online. Getting extra tapatio is going to cost $0.25, getting it cut in half is gonna cost more... the list goes on. What would usually cost nothing at another place needing a quarter more or $0.75 more made the experience feel tacky and pennypinching. The phone number also didn't take me to a real person, as I made a call since I ordered a bit early online by accident and wanted it to be made later in the day, but couldn't have that happen.
Good and quick grab and go meat breakfast burrito had a nice mix of flavors and textures. However, the vegetarian burrito lacks texture and flavor (aside from tapatío). Breakfast burritos can be customized to your personal perfection. The bacon in the regular breakfast burrito provides a great crunch that the vegetarian burritos are lacking. Plus it seemed like they went extra heavy on the tapatío with the vegetarian burritos (not sure if that's just today or a regular thing)

It wasn't very clear that you HAVE to order online. They do not take orders at the restaurant. So, we ordered when we got there at 8:20 and had to wait 20 minutes for the burrito. It was quite odd. The veggie burrito wasn't our thing. We could see how some folks might like the honey, but it wasn't for us.

Server barely speak English Watching strange shows and playing 2 different kinds of music at the same time Refuse to take your order in person, make you play on a disgusting iPad Antisocial environment Don’t know what it is with American coffee places that do strange things like this
Everyone raves about their breakfast burrito but I was not a fan. Mine was drenched in honey so it was overly sweet and sticky. Even without it- I don’t feel like it’s as great as people made it out to be. Maybe if I was still a student then this would be up my alley. I haven’t had their other food in years but I remember I liked their pomegranate chicken special. Their other foods were too greasy for me.
Bad day? My first chance to try the breakfast burrito after hearing numerous recommendations. If you like greasy French Fries, crumbed bacon fat, some egg… then you might have enjoyed the slight spice-sweet honey finish of my particular burrito. In a word, Disappointed. In a statement, I’d rather make my own and save the $10 cost.
The breakfast burritos aren't cooked fresh often. You can tell they're refrigerated. The tortilla also feels a bit soggy. All this being said the food is generally good and not to expensive. Update: I've been burned to many times. I won't keep giving them money, for burritos anyway.
The fact that I am even writing a review should peak your interest to read this. I have been a consistent customer for the past year and a half, the burritos are good, really good for that matter, but the cooks have recently been getting lazy. The last 3 burritos I have ordered from here have been horribly wrapped and made. For starters, they put way too much tapatio which leaks through the burrito as you open it from its wrapping. Before I even take a bite, it’s dripping all over the place and to top it off, the last 3 burritos haven’t even been wrapped properly. There are holes in the burrito and 2 bites in it completely falls apart. Whoever wraps these burritos needs to put less fries in and wrap it properly so it’s not a huge mess when you go to eat it. Other than the fact it drips, spills, and tears apart causing a huge mess. The burritos are delicious.
The gyro was basically 4 pieces of oily leather. So gross. And the employees were rude. Never going back.
Nothing to write home about, burrito was mostly potatoes, not much meat. Also, charging 75 cents to cut the burrito in half is weird, shouldn’t that be free? Overall fine burrito but not much flavor since mostly potatoes.

We ordered gyros. I have never seen anywhere use shredded carrot in chicken or beef gyros! On top of that, portion wise, the gyros are so small and definitely not worth 10$. Taste was not okay as well. Not recommended.
they changed how they served, service, etc, after covid. It was my go-to breakfast, and I haven't been months. it's no longer worth visiting. No cheese at the end of the burrito, less sauce, paying more for extra(it was free), and they charge for cutting it in half? nonsense. I wouldn't recommend this price knowing that they can do better.
It was okay, but a the patty was a bit thin and there were not much other things in there. Felt like there was one slice of tomato and maybe a spoon of some veggie salad like thing and a few slices of cucumber. As you can see it in the picture, it was quite literally a thin peice of meat and two bread peices.the fries tasted like a fried potato without salt or spices.

Takes like they put straight sugar and gave me the burrito. Sugar with a side of burrito why is a burrito sweet?
