Fuimos ayer a cenar y solo puedo decir que: increíble. La calidad de la comida es especial, el ambiente súper acogedor, y el servicio espectacular. Todo el personal fue muy atento en todo momento y muy profesional, nos recomendaron según nuestros gustos y fue acierto total. Calidad-precio como debe ser, pagas la calidad y la cantidad del producto y el servicio, por lo que no es para nada excesivo, y me parece totalmente necesario volver para seguir probando su carta.

Después de una mascletá y habiendo reservado, volvimos a este magnífico restaurante con la familia. Pasamos por el mostrador del pescado para elegir el pescado y marisco y la forma en la que lo queríamos, además nos dejamos siempre asesorar por la dueña que siempre nos orienta con los mejores platos. Elaboración de calidad, pues el pescado y marisco si es un buen producto no es necesario una elaboración pesada, lo que si que importa es que tenga el punto correcto de cocción, y así es siempre. Pedimos de todo: croquetas (las mejores las de pescado aunque la de pulpo tenía un sabor indescriptible de rico), mejilllones, quisquilla, cigalas (servidas abiertas y con el toque Justo de cocción), ostras para algunos, pulpo, chopitos, chanquetes, vieras (grandes y ricas) , calamar y postres. Todo exquisito, es que no hubo nada que no cumpliera las expectativas. Destacar lo bonito que está el rte y la amabilidad de todo el servicio, además de la agilidad puesto que al ser fallas todos vamos a la misma hora y todas las mesas estaban atendidas. Sin duda es un lugar que debes ir tanto para tomar unas tapas ricas, como para comer o cenar de forma más relajada. Enhorabuena.

Como cada Jueves vamos a comprar al Mercado Central buen Buey 🐂 para nuestras bbq y queso más cecina top. Pasamos siempre por la puerta de este sitio y nos llama la atención una pescaderia que te hace al momento lo que pidas. Pues bien hoy hemos decidido pasar a probarlo para comer. Y OLEEEEE un 10 en todo pero todo. La atencion de Tamar y Pili impresionante, la calidad del producto Bestial y la calidad en cocina para prepararlo de 10. Que todo suma para tener una comida a medida de Marisco de calidad para recomendar. De verdad yo soy un tío que siempre sacó pegas a casi todo , y no callo nada. Estamos sin duda ante todo un descubrimiento en Valencia que recomendaremos a nuestros amigos y amigas. Me ha quedado una reseña demasiado redonda y positiva. Staff was friendly and despite being a little short staffed, they kept things moving for the night with a great attitude. Also protein focused for those wanting to indulge yet limit carbs. Awesome! We were a large group and did not really know what to order. The staff told us they can make us a menu "to share" and it would be between 30-40€ per person. Worth every pound! I traveled from America to Spain Valencia.Found this restaurant on Google! The seafood are very fresh, you pick it up then they tell you the price then cook for you! They asked you how you preferred to cook! I had fresh local raw oysters, manilla clam, and grilled shrimp ! All of the seafood is very fresh. You really don't need any spices! The waitress is very sweet, excellent service!Definitely back!

Very nice place, all the waiters are very friendly. The octopus croquets and its sauce were delicious, the seafood soup was full of flavour, and the grilled scallops superb. The only item that left me a little disappointed was the fried whitebait which was a little bland. But it was my first time eating so maybe it just tastes like that. Also their sangria was one of the top 3 I drank in any restaurant in Valencia.

This is a great place to experience seafood in a new way! You can select fresh seafood as you like, they weigh it in front of you, they help you select the right amount, and then you can decide how to prepare the food. The service is very helpful and speaks multiple languages. The food was very delicious. The atmosphere is also great and does not at all feel like a cantine (as others wrote)! We noticed that they updated their chairs to be more adequate for a real restaurant. We really recommend this restaurant and would definitely go again to try something different.

Yearning for the sea whilst staying dry. 🐟 Upon arrival, I found myself at the epicenter of getting a right table right. The first was with my table inconveniently at the kitchen door. . Yet, in the classic style of a Jane Austen plot twist, my evening was swiftly elevated to a corner seat with picturesque views of the establishment's finest fish around the corner. Yes you can pick and mix fish as you choose. Marvelous to say the least. Excellent service with a smile. The menu? Ah, well, nothing screams modern angst like having to QR code one's way to the culinary offerings. A dread to be honest. The proprietor, sensing my nostalgic yearning for tangible menus, gave a ladies and gentleman's🙏😁 promise of improvements. My faith in humanity was restored as, well as in the culinary perspective that lies ahead. Really nice fresh fish ❤️❤️❤️ The pièce de résistance, however, was the maritime spectacle! Choosing one's fish, as if engaged in an intimate tango with a fishmonger, Yes in this case a dance worth anticipating. Not forgetting the incredible fishmonger in question 👍❤️. And added a delightful theatricality. Every bite was an ode to Neptune's bounty - fresh, flavorful, and fairly priced with a great pairing of local wines. The team radiated a spirit as effervescent as a fine champagne, though I must express a slight lament at the wine selection's modesty. But one comprehends the challenges of curating an oceanic symphony and diverse wine cellar in this setting. In summation, I enjoyed a tantalizing aquatic soiree, punctuated by some areas of opportunity. I left, full of seafood and sincere appreciation for the passionate crew steering this ship. Amazing high quality freshly fished food! The menu details a good variety of choices with the price /100gr or /kg. After you've chosen, you can walk up and just like at the fishmonger they weight your portion so you roughly know what you're going to pay. Good portion sizes for the prices! The food is then immediately cooked and served, and the flavour is excellent. The staff is very kind and precise and the location really welcoming and stylish. They sometimes clear out dishes too quickly but overall a great experience.

What a glorious place, mixing a fish market theme with an amazing dining experience. Had brown crab, scallops, mussels, sea breem, baby squid, padrons and ratatouille. Every single bit was super tasteful. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. All in all just a great place and a must try. Excuse my photos I'll never be a good photographer.

What an incredible restaurant. I really enjoyed the concept of choosing and selecting your own fresh fish which they then season and cook it to perfection. There are also so many other options on their menu to add as sides or choose as your main, whilst you enjoy your drink and company. The staff were incredibly friendly, informative and attentive. Es la segunda vez que voy , y las dos veces he tenido la misma impresión, la idea es buena , cuando entras tienen todos los productos expuestos simulando una pescadería , eliges , lo pesan y te dicen el precio ( este detalle entiendo que es por simular el mercado pero a veces queda poco elegante que digan el precio en voz alta , por ejemplo si quieres invitar a alguien a comer en una cita ) a continuación nos sentaron en la mesa , en nuestro caso por horarios de trabajo hicimos la reserva a las 22:00 , y aunque llegamos puntuales , estábamos solos en el local y sobretodo al final se notaba que tenían prisa , también lo entiendo , pero es incómodo, respecto a la comida todo correcto nada que destacar a excepción de los rojos que estaban espectaculares

El restaurante tiene 2 entradas pero no coinciden con Google Maps , que te lleva a la calle Beata. Si as a ir, la entrada está justo detrás de donde te marca Google, tienes que dar la vuelta a la finca. Te aconsejo que entres por la calle principal L 'Editor Manuel Aguilar así podrás ver lo que puedes degustar dentro. Todo está buenísimo, tu eliges lo que te apetece, la cantidad que quieres y como quieres que te lo cocinen

4 months later i eat here again. This time food was just ok, nothing special but very expensive. Servjce was good all around. Ordered some of the things i ordered the frist visit, vegetables a la parilla, this time they were for sure cooked the day before, soggy and sad. Had rape fish, first time was super good, this time was past time of fresh, smell of ammonia. Scallops, were under cooked, however fresh. Cold on back side. Navajas were cooked nicely but arrived cold, too expensive to make these mistakes. They did remove the rape from bill but not the vegetables. Resident of spain and Visit valencia frequently but probably wont return. Prices and quality are a bit off. First visit: I don't understand why the rating is not 5+. Everything was outstanding!!!!! All cooked to perfection and HOT when arrived. Service was impeccable. Have traveled valencia for 48 years, this the best seafood restaurant I have ever eaten in. Style of selection is fantastic, all the seafood is on ice like a seafood market. You select and they cook. Pay by weight. Highly recommended. Is not inexpensive but who wants to eat cheap seafood

We had a good meal at lunch. The format is you can see the fresh seafood in the cold cabinet and then select what you want and how it's prepared. Service was very attentive and friendly. Puntillas and boquerones were great. The ceviche bland to me. The fish stew also good but small for the price. The red shrimp were ok but not worth the very high price. Overall prices are high but there was a 20% discount on most items through The Fork app.

Went there after seeing the reviews. Food: in terms of value for money, we find the prices expensive and nothing blow our mind. On top of that we had to send the navajas back to the kitchen as they had very strong smell and taste. (They were taken out from the bill). Service: All the waiters were really friend expect the guy who is behind the seafood section, quite an unfriendly fella. When you run a local restaurant/shop customer service and friendliness is the key. Otherwise, you won't see returning customers. Atmosphere: To be honest, I would have expected a bit more authenticity from the restaurant. Here comes to million dollars question: Would I go there again?... I am afraid not, unless the fella behind the seafood section is gone.

As the majority of restaurants in Valencia offer seafood on their menu, this had an extra edge where you go up to the counter and pick your meal. The restaurant is no frills but decorated cutely like you are under the water. The service is really good, food came out very quickly, the guy who I presume is the owner that weighs the seafood is super chatty and is very honest about the prices letting you know if things are quite expensive. It was a nice touch to have a complimentary bowl of peanuts when you arrived. Also booking was super easy over WhatsApp. They answer very promptly. The seafood is also cooked in a no frills way but shows the freshness of the produce. I got the fried whitebait, crab, barnacles, sweet prawns - which were all boiled and given with a slice of lemon and croquettes (1 crayfish & 1 octopus - go for crayfish). Everything was delicious but the crab I got has been living in the tank a little bit too long as it wasn’t very meaty even though it was still quite sweet. I got the house wine which was perfect with the seafood, nice & dry. They gave me a digestif on the house which finished off the meal nicely. It wasn’t the cheapest meal I had for basically getting the opportunity to choose your own seafood and a few extra choices you might not get in other restaurants. It’s good & worth a visit but not a must do.

Opted for fried fish. I like the way they ask you to order your fish directly from the ice counter. They use a corn / polenta for frying their fish, which leaves only the taste of polenta, would be better with a potato starch. The fish is high quality but the preparation needed more thought. Dessert was cheap ice cream, with a basic tart. Wouldn’t advise having desserts here they’re not good quality and don’t match the quality of the seafood. The decor.. maybe the ugliest restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. The most horrible blue, paired with raw OSB board, fishing nets hanging from the ceiling, and shells on the wall. Flatscreen HD tvs playing footage from the ocean matched with music like Sam Smith & Coldplay really killed any chance of a vibe. Staff were very attentive and friendly, the best part of the experience. Wouldn’t go back.

Tourist trap de manual. Precio desorbitado para la cantidad y calidad de comida que ponen. Ideal si eres un guiri que quiere "pescado" pero ridículamente e insultantemente caro si eres un comensal local: menú de degustación de 60 euros por persona, mínimo 2 personas que incluye una zamburiña pequeña, medio calamar pequeño, 1 croqueta, un puñado de mejillones, 1 langosta del tamaño de una cigala y poco más. Vienen a la mesa con una botella de medio litro de agua, eso sí de cristal para justificar que cuesta más (habíamos pedido una botella de vino) y a la pregunta: no falta una botella de agua? Nos contesta la camarera: es una botella cada dos personas. Qué clase de restaurante ruin y cutre te ofrece una mísera botella de 500ml en un menú de 60€ por persona? Claramente es un restaurante que sólo piensa en su enriquecimiento propio y no en satisfacer las necesidades de un comensal que busca comer bien por ese precio. Su perfil de cliente es el turista ignorante que sabe que no volverá por lo que hay que aprovechar la ocasión oportunistamente y sablarle. Pruebas: de 6 mesas ocupadas en el servicio, 5 eran de extranjeros. La camarera tendrá seguramente un B2 en inglés y francés pero ni sabe distinguir una vieira de una zamburiña. Como valenciano no recomiendo a nadie que vaya a comer aqui y espero que no proliferen este tipo de locales que lo único que hacen es cargarse el centro histórico y obligarte a comer fuera de él.

Overrated and Disappointing!!!!’n I visited this restaurant with high expectations, given its No. 1 ranking on TripAdvisor. However, the experience left me extremely disappointed, and I feel compelled to share my honest feedback. The only redeeming feature of the meal was the oysters, which were fresh and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the rest of the seafood was far below standard. The clams were gritty, and I could taste sand in them. The seafood overall had a strong "fishy" smell, which is a clear sign it wasn’t fresh. I also tried the carabineros, priced at an exorbitant 200€/kg. For such a premium price, I expected top-quality shrimp. Instead, 1 out of 4 were in bad shape, which was a shocking disappointment. For a restaurant of this reputation, serving seafood like this is unacceptable. I’ve been to many cities across Spain and Europe, and the seafood I’ve had elsewhere—often at much more reasonable prices—has been far superior. This was by far the most disappointing seafood meal I’ve had in Spain. When the waiter asked if the meal was good, I honestly said I had expected better. His response me he’d worked there for a year and I was the first to say that. This dismissive and defensive attitude was unprofessional and showed little regard for customer feedback. If they truly cared about improving, such a response wouldn’t have been given. Despite the restaurant’s high ranking, there were only a few tables occupied, and it wasn’t even close to full. Perhaps this explains why—it just doesn’t live up to the hype. In summary, this restaurant is overrated and overpriced. There are far better options in Spain for fresh seafood and authentic experiences. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
