I'm from Cuneo who lived in Catania for 10 years, and if I want to eat a REAL Sicilian granita in the north, I'm sure I'll find it here. Anyone who criticizes it is clearly unfamiliar with it or is used to our crushed ice and syrup. Maybe I'm lucky, but I've NEVER experienced rudeness, poor service, or delays. €6.50 for a "Brioscia" with granita is a far cry from the €2.50-€3 in Catania, but I think the running costs are also very different. I'll continue to go there.

For many years, this was our favorite place in Alassio for gelato. It still is. We did have one experience, a year or so ago, where rightly or wrongly we sensed the stock was not entirely fresh. But …

Non posso dare una valutazione generale delle cose perché non le ho provate, posso solo dire che le granite siciliane sono veramente buone! Unica cosa il servizio, il cameriere molto freddo e distaccato, ma nulla di grave!

Menù particolare con prodotti innovativi, purtroppo una delle ordinazioni che abbiamo fatto non era il massimo perché il sapore ricordava quello di un antibiotico, si sono comunque offerti di cambiarlo.

Ho provato piu gusti molto buoni ma la liquerizia ho da dirvi solo una cosa “ se non sapete farla non FATELA “ da calabrese ho dato una leccata e ho buttato subito nel cestino!

A historic Ligurian gelateria in Alassio, the gelato is quite good. The cup served at the table is fine, but the small, two-flavor cone for €3.50 is decidedly expensive! The place is clean and welcoming. The girl at the cash register is polite. What I don't like is the rude and unfriendly man at the counter with his Sicilian accent. It really clashes with "A Cuvea"! We're in Liguria, so local management is better!

Historic ice cream shop in Alassio. An experience worth repeating. A friend and I walked in, and the lady at the cash register (I assume the owner) invited us to sit outside. We accepted, ordered, and yes, we looked at the price list (I imagined they were higher). What can I say other than crazy prices? It's true that they served two flavors in a glass cup for €6.50, and a cup with gelato and strawberries for €11. It's absurd. When it comes time to pay, this lady at the cash register is always very rude and impolite. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for families with children, because you can't get a mortgage to get gelato. There are better and cheaper places.

Cocktail di aperitivo buono, stuzzichini un po’ risicati.. nota veramente dolente la gentilezza… sembra che gli fai fastidio, scocciati e poco disponibili, peccato perché non è nemmeno molto economico, si trova decisamente di meglio in tantissimi altri locali.

Il gelato è buono... MA Per 3.50€ mi aspetto un cono con due gusti decenti, non uno sputo di gelato. Per non parlare poi della cortesia e della gentilezza del personale. Mi hanno servito come se mi stessero facendo un favore. Cambiate lavoro.

Ambiente che sembrava carino, personale pessimo aspettiamo 15 min per un caffè . Caffè che costa 2€ , non per dire ma nemmeno nei centri di città storiche costa 2 € . Nonostante ciò un signore ci porta i caffè , senza nemmeno un goccio d’acqua , allora gentilmente chiedo se fosse possibile avere un goccio d acqua in dei bicchieri . Mi risponde già scocciato “ci sono le bottigliette sennò ti do un bicchiere d acqua dal rubinetto” al che io rispondo “vabbè non fa niente va bene così”. Lui si gira scocciato e butta i menu in un tavolino di fianco e se ne va . Mah , in una città di mare cosi piccola , va bene è 2€ un caffè , ma non è normale non poter avere nemmeno un goccio d acqua da una bottiglia e doversi adattare a ricevere quella del rubinetto o prendermi per forza una bottiglia d acqua . 😨 assurdo (4 caffè = 8 euro)

Gelato niente di che, personale pessimo sia per quanto riguarda l’accoglienza che per i modi. Io e la mia fidanzata abbiamo preso due gelati e una granita e dopo esserci accomodati su uno dei tavolini appartenenti alla gelateria siamo stati malamente cacciati perché questi a quanto pare sono dedicati solo a chi consuma alla carta. Specifico che i tavolini erano tutti vuoti e nel giro di 5 minuti l’avremmo lasciato libero, niente da fare. Proprio imbarazzanti sotto questo punto di vista, per niente consigliato. Ad Alassio ogni gelateria è meglio di questa.

The gelato was delicious, but the staff was particularly rude. We ordered gelato at the counter with two small children. Let's ignore the unfriendly attitude and grave, funeral-like expression of the person behind the counter, which puts you off the desire to eat gelato. We then decided to sit at the tables outside for convenience. Giuseppe strongly urged us to stand up because the tables are only for table service. I'm attaching the photo because out of 40 tables, only 4 were occupied, and we would have left within a few minutes anyway. Thank you, Giuseppe, for your warm welcome and friendliness. Even the children thank you from the bottom of their hearts. See you never again.

Terrible experience. I went to this ice cream shop and ordered two granitas and a gelato. They gave me tokens without explaining how they worked, and in the end, they delivered completely incorrect products. The staff was extremely rude, especially one blond, somewhat stout woman who responded rudely and disrespectfully, even going so far as to tell us to go fuck ourselves. Aside from the rudeness, they also charged us for items we hadn't ordered. Absolutely not recommended: zero professionalism, zero courtesy, and a waste of money.

Honestly, TERRIBLE. In my opinion, they were thieves through and through. We had a bowl of gelato at the table and a granita and spent €23.50. The gelato and granita weren't anything special; it was more about the look than the taste. Then there were the waiters complaining and arguing among themselves as they brought the bowls to the tables. We waited about 20 minutes before anyone even counted us. Crazy prices. I say this because on the menu I saw a cup of cream and strawberries for €11. I didn't order it, but damn, it seems excessive. The only good thing is that they have tables outside, but for what I spent for a bowl of gelato that didn't even have any flavor, I'll never eat it again.
