Brooklyn Kava is a true gem. The atmosphere is warm and communal, the staff are knowledgable and friendly, and they have a great relationship with the taco shop next door. Also, occasionally this guy brings his Newfoundland to hang out outside which is pretty swell. All in all, Brooklyn Kava is truly a great spot for working, unwinding, or really whatever vibe you're after.

I am so happy this place exists in my neighborhood. The drink menu is esoteric and top-notch. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is such that I could imagine spending a whole day there. I want them to succeed and yet I also want to keep this place a secret. That's just about the highest compliment I can give to a place.

Great first time Kava experience. The staff was really knowledgeable and the cocktails were tasty. Also they have a lot of of other options such as tea and coffee. Overall a good spot.

Kava is a real treasure. Not very pleasant to drink straight up, but tastes great in cocktails. Soothes my soul and relaxes my mind. The atmosphere is lovely and staff is even lovelier. A go-to spot for sure!

The person helping us was incredibly kind and patient. They explained everything Kava to us since it was our first time drinking it. I really liked the Horchata-Kava mix but I feel like it wasn’t as strong as I’d like to get the full experience. The space is small but there is outdoor seating. Since it was warm, I enjoyed drinking my Kava in the park.

Nice local Kava place I can walk to. I definitely wish there was more room and seating. You can order outside without having to go in which is a nice option. The drinks are definitely strong and they should be for the steep prices. Think like $10-$15 just for one. A little much but it’s Brooklyn. I kind of wish there were more flavor options but nothing liquid sugar couldn’t fix.

Kava was delicious and prepared right in front of me! They have a very relaxing atmosphere and board games in the back. Bartender is really nice and good at what they do. A very relaxed homey spot but can get bustling at night.

Great menu and delicious pastries. Staff was not as friendly as other reviews had me to believe. I was new to Kava and did not get a lot of assistance. Also, the space was very small.

I’ve been to kava bars around the US and this kava bar has the worst service by far. The white guy with the freckles who served me the other day was beyond rude. He was on his phone the whole shift and acted like he didn’t want to be there. He acted like he was wronged by having to work there and kept checking every POS interaction to see if people tipped or not. Just not great service or vibe. Btw I work in the service industry.. this is just not how you act. Also the space is very small
