Don’t walk run to this little hidden gem. When I say this food is great. My first time was yesterday with the chicken and shrimp. I went back today for more with shrimp and fish. This salt and pepper seasoning is fire no sauce needed.

Those salt and pepper wings are great, especially with the seasoning. 🍗🧂 His food is always hot and fresh. ♨️😋 The best time to eat it is when it's fresh out of the grease. 🤤🔥 When he puts it in the box, it's great food. 🥡👍 When she had a food truck, I loved going to this place and always stopped by when I was in the area. 🚚❤️

They have closed the location on Richmond, but we found them in Katy. It is in the back corner of a gas station convenience store. It is inside Elan#8(formally Fuel Depot). Don't let that stop you from going! Everything is cooked to order! It has never been greasy, perfectly fried and super tasty! I highly recommend ordering the fried okra. We always get a triple combo. Fish, Wings and Shrimp, with fries.

I truly don’t believe this guy is getting the credit he deserves… Honestly when I first approached the store I was a bit skeptical because I didn’t smell anything but I decided to still give him a try, God I’m so glad that I did. Let me say this I’m a huge food critic because I think my food is one of the best around town. He sure showed me! I told him I want my fish fried hard and my boys wanted the lemon pepper wings boy I’m speechless. The food was seasoned and fried to the Gods understand that my words aren’t enough. I FEEL LIKE THE LINES SHOULD BE TO THE BACK OF THE STORE!!! To season and fry the food the way this guy does should be studied! This was my first time and it surely will not be my last. I will definitely be telling anyone and everyone I pass about this place. The pictures do no justice. Sorry for the long review but I have to tell yall. He was also really nice and for the price you can’t beat it! Okay that’s enough let me enjoy the rest of my food 🤤 PLEASE CHECK HIM OUT! HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I just moved to the area a few months ago from the Midwest, specifically Chicago, and when I saw J&J Wings and Seafood, I immediately busted a U-turn thinking it was the J&J Fish and Chicken I knew from back home. It wasn’t, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. Initially, my expectations dropped when I realized they didn’t have the famous lemon pepper seasoning, but let me tell you, they still delivered big time! The flavors were on point, and the green onions and spices hit my taste buds in all the right ways. The customer service was excellent—everyone was so kind. I ended up getting corn nuggets, wings, and fish, and for the amount of food I got, it was so affordable. I can definitely see myself eating here twice a week! Honestly, I’m going to be dreaming about this meal, it was just that good. Highly recommend!

This is a hidden gem! I pray for longevity 🤤🤤 . Its inside of a gas station yet you'd never know. This place deserves to be a stand alone yet can be tucked away . Shout out to the owner and cook!! The salted pepper way is to go... okra...wings...catfish..shrimp

Had a craving for seafood and decided to look on Google for nearest place and out of the many, I picked J&J. I ordered the combo wings and shrimp(6/6). The seasoning is so different and so good. Packed in box very nicely with a special touch of green onions! Enjoyed so much and still have enough for lunch tomorrow.

Absolutely love this place. We used to eat at the Port Arthur location almost weekly. Since moving to Houston in 2016 we have missed the salt and pepper wings so very much. A few months ago we saw the sign stating coming soon..we have literally drove past it at least once or twice a week ever since. Well, finally we saw it was open. Not sure of the exact day, but when we saw it, we where there the following day. And might I say, there was NO disappointment!! As delicious as always. My wife even helped the gentleman running it with a groupon ad. Lol..thank you J & J for the absolute BEST salt and pepper wings around Houston!!! Oh and did I mention incredible fried okra!

Really good catfish! Has a slight spiciness to it, but nothing too overpowering. I would have given them 5 stars but during my visit they didn't have any ice, they're bottled drinks were in a cooler that was out of order (not getting cold), and they're restrooms were out of order. Also, the tartar sauce was very watery, I ended up not trying it. I didn't have to wait long for my order either, so that was a plus. The food makes up for all the other shortcomings, I definitely recommend this place for takeout.

Staying in the area and was craving for some chicken wings. Found this place on GrubHub and placed an order for pickup. The food was ready when I got there and took it back to the hotel. I wasn't expecting too much, but I was surprised that everything was delicious. The flavor was great and everything even stayed crispy after a short car ride. The chicken wings and shrimps were moist on the inside with a nice crunchy light breading. The fresh green onion on top adds another layer of flavor. The only thing that I wished that I could get more was the dipping sauce... They only put one small container of each kind that I asked for and it wasn't enough for everything, but lesson learned being the first-timer. Definitely will come back for more next time I'm in the area.

J&J Wings and Seafood was awesome the 1st time I visited the restaurant. The wings and fries were hot crispy and delicious. They were made to order so it took roughly 20min. The downside is that they only allow 2 condiments with the 12 wing and fry order but you can purchase additional. The cost for 12 wings is around $20. It is enough for two and totally worth it. I was impressed & looked forward to going back. Well I went back to J&J about a week later since the food was so good the 1st time. I was very disappointed with the 2nd visit. The wings and fries were lukewarm and the onion rings were flat out cold but they had a good flavor. I was not served the crinkle cut fries on the 2nd visit and the ones they gave me tasted very dry & stale. I did notice a different cook than the first visit though. Hopefully you can get lucky and have the same cook as my 1st visit. I initially gave them 5 stars but I'm changing it to 3.

Note that *everything* outside the drinks and green onion topping is fried here... I got a small salt and pepper calamari which was great for less than $4. Unfortunately it came with fries that were nothing to write home about. The small side order of corn fritters (no seasoning on top requested) were also good but nothing I’d go out of my way for. Friendly staff clean location and overall alright...maybe next time I’ll give their (apparently popular) wings a try!

10/19/18 I order the fried fish and corn nuggets. Portion was good, food was hot and crispy but the Accent seasoning that was sprinkled over EVERYTHING 😫including the corn nuggets gave it bad taste😝. The food lack good flavor. Look at the corn nuggets pic, those crystal like flecks is the Accent seasoning.
