Relatively new halal spot on Steinway. The store is colorfully quirky but still simple. They have a few tables for dining in but is also good as a takeout spot. We got the teriyaki grilled chicken bowl and the garlic chicken teriyaki bowl. They also gave a nice and refreshing iced tea with each meal! Super nice and friendly staff. I love that they grill the chicken right out front by the register. Very happy to have another unique halal option in Astoria!!

I’ve been to this restaurant three times now, and it’s quickly becoming a favorite spot. The prices are very affordable, and the portions are generous for what you pay. I had the beef teriyaki bowl, and it came with a lot of beef, definitely more than I expected for the price. The teriyaki is made fresh to order, flavorful, and really satisfying. A pleasant surprise is the complimentary hibiscus lemonade that comes with the bowl, refreshing and a nice touch that makes the meal feel special. Another highlight for me is their spring rolls. They’re light, not greasy at all, and make the perfect snack or side dish. I find myself craving them every time I come here. Overall, this place delivers tasty food, great value, and little thoughtful extras that keep me coming back. The chef was really nice, he treated us to sample their fried chicken teriyaki (not on the menu yet) and it was crispy and the meat was juicy! I’ll definitely be returning often to support them!

Just opened. About two weeks ago. Buy one get one chicken teriyaki plate. Generous portions on chicken. Verdict. Delicious. Really thick pieces. Very filling. Lots of unique sides. Choose what you want. They had a lot of add ons. Went with the fruit flavored sparkling water. Guy told us to shake the mango because all the stuff was at the bottom of the bottle. We shook. Then it exploded when opened. Drinks were good. But a little on the tart side. Service was friendly. A little slow. But I can tell they work carefully. Also maybe because it was late at night.

If Sweetgreens and Sarku Japan had a love child, it would be Teri’s Teriyaki. You can pick and choose to build your own unique bowls or choose one of their fan favorite bowls. Teri’s sources only the freshest and healthiest ingredients so each bite tastes that much better! Oh and don’t skip out on their drinks. The flavors are not only unique but they are made to order and soooo refreshing! THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST VISIT!

The food is amazing. They have many interesting veggie toppings. They use the whole chicken leg, freshly cooked to order. This isn't your average mall teriyaki. I'm so happy that a gem like this has opened in the heart of Astoria. get ramen as your base for the amazing sauce :)

Shout out to Shawn Alston and the team fantastic service! I ordered the mix steak and chicken, my mother had a delicious grilled salmon. We loved the extra touches, free drinks and a tasty sample of the shrimp tempura/chicken tempura with that special Japanese BBQ sauce. Also loved the tempura, spring rolls, and veggie gyoza on the menu. Highly recommend!

Tried this new teriyaki spot that opened up in my neighborhood and wasn’t disappointed. Friendly service, clean and warm atmosphere, and affordable prices. I like how you can customize your teriyaki bowl and there are many different options. Definitely plan on coming again.

The sushi rice was perfect, the vegetables crisp and fresh, and the meat cooked to order. There are so many toppings to choose from - and a free drink too!! We also ordered the vegetarian gyoza, which was steamed in front of us. Prices can’t be beat $11-12 for the bowl and drink and 10 gyoza for $5. Go now!
