The waitress was very nice and helpful. She asked if we had any allergies and I told her the truth. Yes, I am allergic to alcohol 🍸 (not everyone is). My buddy and coworker took me to dinner before going with me to my 2-year coin ceremony. I am very glad that she asked her question. The food and the service was wonderful 😋. 739 days sober today 🙌 💪.
Stopped in for the first time ever today. I had no idea they specialize in gluten free options so this was a pleasant surprise! Ordered Apricot Shrimp Risotto and it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!
I have a severe dairy allergy and have been nervous to eat out anywhere as dairy is in almost everything and most places in my experience have not taken it seriously. Nakia at the Crossgates location made me feel safe and so welcome from the moment we walked in. She let me peruse the allergen binder they have for everything on the menu and helped me choose something that would be safe for me to eat. This restaurant mainly focuses on gluten free but I’ve found they are extremely diligent with any allergy a customer mentions and I will definitely be back!
We went midweek at lunch. It was very quiet. The food was great. My son was very happy that we had lunch there. Menu was diverse enough to accommodate both of our different palettes. He had the NY strip with broccoli and Jasmine rice and thought it was great. I had the kale and Brussel sprout salad with salmon. Was so happy with my selection!
Never had so many options out to eat as a Celiac. Staff was SO NICE and funny! Had the Margherita flatbread and fried pickles as an app, DELICIOUS! Pasta dish for dinner, and An Amazing cake for dessert. Wish I lived nearby so I could come all the time! Couldn't reccommend this place enough. 🤗🥰❤️💖
Went there as a friend suggested. They have ALOT of gluten free. Asked for Idea goes by Dea. Very accommodating and friendly and efficient. Asked what she suggests Thai sesame salmon. Then asked what not to and she provided and was usually my got to. This is an exceptional server which I really appreciate. I will go back just for her. ASK FOR her. It takes a quality person to do that and management should be happy that their staff puts guest experience over product. Food was really good. I had the cuban and person I was with the gf person. Was excellent. Not very busy n kitchen was slow. Not her fault. Had the lemon sorbet for dessert and took forever but was good and again not her fault. Definitely give them a try.
Such a great addition to the area for gluten free options! Even almost all kids menu items were able to be gluten free as well! My daughter had ordered the salmon and found she didn't like how smokey it tasted so they kindly replaced it with a gluten free grilled cheese. I had the hot honey crispy chicken and it was amazing to get a gluten free fried chicken sandwich! Had the gluten free fried pickles too. So great! Will absolutely be returning!
Had an amazing time with the group of friends! Reservation was easy ( maybe because it was a Monday), service was quick with the chef personally checking on us and taking special care of a person with allergies. A party of 12 dined in 45 minutes - that's how efficient the service was! We tried quite a few items and everything was cooked to perfection!!
Don't think that because this restaurant is in a mall that you will get "mall food". This a a very good and relaxing restaurant. The manager, Keyvon (?), was friendly and visited our table. I went last night with my sister and brother in law before a comedy show. Wendy, and Marilyn (trainee) were excellent servers. Attentive, but not not hovering. Friendly and helpful. They were excellent regarding any allergies we had and accommodated our needs. We ordered a hot honey chicken sandwich (brother in law), the 110 cheeseburger (sister) and I had the fish and chips. All were very good and perfectly seasoned. Great flavor and exactly what was on the menu. My fish and chips was amazing. It's rare to find a fish and chips that doesn't get soggy as the meal went on. However, my final bite was as crunchy as the first. Perfectly made. The chef knows what they are doing. The prices were very good and I can't wait to return. I highly recommend that you visit this restaurant. The staff and management are amazing. The food will leave you satisfied with both flavor and portions.
It was my first time dining here and I really enjoyed it. Although I don't need it, they have a large gluten free menu, which is nice for dining with people who are sensitive to gluten. This restaurant is also very mindful of any food allergies and will ask if anyone in your party has allergies before taking your order. They welcome any substitutions or modifications of orders too, which is great for anyone whether they have an allergy or just don't like certain foods. Prices are average and the food is tasty. The only thing I could really say is I wish the nachos had a little more chicken on them.
I recently dined at 110 Grill and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The atmosphere was modern and comfortable — a great spot for both casual dinners and small gatherings. The restaurant was clean, well-lit, and had a welcoming vibe. The menu offers a solid variety of options, and I especially appreciate their attention to dietary needs, including gluten-free choices. Our food came out fresh and nicely presented. The flavors were well-balanced, and portions were generous without being overwhelming. I ordered the steak tips, which were cooked just right and paired well with the sides. Service was friendly and attentive. Our server checked in regularly without being intrusive and was knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, 110 Grill is a dependable choice with good food, accommodating options, and a pleasant atmosphere. I'd definitely return and recommend it to friends.
110 Grill in Crossgates Mall is a gorgeous restaurant offering delicious food and drinks. The table & chairs along with the bar are clean, spacious and comfortable for sitting and enjoying a pleasant meal. The bar offers a nice selection of wines, liquors and beers. The customer service received was excellent., friendly and attentive. Making up for the Long Island Iced Tea I ordered which tasted more like just "Iced Tea". Nonetheless, beautiful restaurant offering a gorgeous ambiance and a delicious menu.
I was there for lunch with a friend. I had the fish and chips which was a very thin slice of fried cod. It was so thinly sliced that when I cut it it broke into little pieces. My friend had the fish tacos which he rated 7 out of 10. Dessert was cheese cake which was very tasty. Service was excellent. Food came yo the table quickly after we ordered. I like that everything on the menu could be made gluten free.
The food here was 😒 blah. The food tasted cheap like Applebees. The swordfish had no seasoning to it. The fish tacos had rice in it. I love rice but not in a fish taco. The chicken pesto pasta it taste like it was out a box and not even heated up we sent that back and got it off the bill. The hot honey chicken sandwich was good. The calamari was good but they gave us scraps. The waitress was nice but clueless about the food. We still tipped her cause she was young and nice it seemed like she was new. We will not be returning here.
My gluten free pizza came completely burnt . I never had a bad experience prior. Always have ordered this and not up to standards that I know 110 grill is capable of.
I sat at the bar this evening and noticed the bartender focused more on interacting with staff than attending to guests. It takes only a moment to hand someone a menu, yet I was completely overlooked. I left and went across to Maggie McFly’s, where I was greeted and given a menu within seconds. The difference in service was clear. Please do better.
Say NO to albany ny 110 grill. Despite few people in restaurant, nachos arrived late and were cold. There definitely not layers of ingredients, unless one counts soggy chips. When waitress wax informed she simply said "oh no!" and nothing else. Coffee was old and cold. No recompense was offered nor apologies made. I am disable and in a wheelchair. I coukd have far surpssed this expensive repast. Don't go here in cold weather- it's freezing due to many doors from oudoors to restaurant open frequently. Nothing there to keep heat in.
110 Grill Review - Good Drinks and Service, But Beer Options and Restrooms Were Disappointing My wife and I stopped by 110 Grill for some drinks after a long day, and while the cocktails were well-crafted and refreshing, we were disappointed with the beer selection. There was no draft beer available at all, and the bottle choices were very limited—basically just a handful of basic options. Our server was friendly, attentive, and kept things running smoothly—no complaints on the service side. Unfortunately, the experience took a real downturn when we needed to use the restrooms before leaving. It was in rough shape: water (or worse) splashed all over the floors making it slippery, overflowing trash cans, soap dispensers completely empty with the pump detached and lying on the counter, a stall partition broken and just leaning against the wall, and several lights burned out over the sinks leaving parts of it dimly lit and uninviting. The urinals had those red deodorizer cakes sitting openly at the bottom, adding to the overall unclean feel. For an upscale-casual chain like 110 Grill, both the limited beer availability and the state of the bathrooms fall well below expectations. It really put a damper on what could have been a solid stop. Overall, 3 stars—decent cocktails and staff, but the beer options were lacking and the facilities need serious attention. Management, please step up on both the bar selection and maintenance! We might try again for drinks, but these issues make us hesitant.
This is the second time we had a horrible meal here! Tried to give them a second chance and they blew it! My "special" Surf &Turf was ridiculous! 2 little bitty shrimp! The "Turf" was two tiny, over-cooked "Filet Mignons". I asked for medium rare! It was Medium-well! The Asparagus was horribly overcooked! The only good part was the Potato Pancake. Do not recommend this place. I'm sitting here now typing this, I'm soooooo mad about this meal! Other meals at the table were not great!
Had a coupon from the Santa visit but every part of the visit was off. They only gave us one menu and not enough silverware, no tap beer, my "shrimp scampi" came with the wrong noodle, my daughter's meal was cold. Hard to blame one employee for this - with this many errors you have to blame management.
Visited last night for dinner (12/17)…Must be a bad couple weeks. Although the staff were friendly when we interacted, and they were good about checking in on allergens, service was super slow and staff seemed to be very disorganized, didn’t seem to be cooperating well or working outside of their assigned role to help keep tables organized and people served (with drinks). Tables weren’t bussed/cleaned quickly enough for the number of available staff. Table was somewhat dirty when we were seated. No draft beer available, and cans/bottles were limited. They were out of various food options. There was only 1 cook who seems overwhelmed. Food was ok but rating may be influenced by the amount of time it took to get it. Unlikely we will return for some time which is unfortunate because the idea behind 110 Grill is great :/
The staff that were there were great but the place is severely understaffed. First meal came out 15 minutes prior to the other 3. They were out of draught beer, broccoli, brussel sprouts, and steak and cheese sandwiches. And they were very slow. The manager did discount the bill and was very pleasant. Hopefully they get things squared away there but for now I will be dining elsewhere. The food was good
This was supposed to be chicken caprese sandwich, and sweet potato fries. Had to take the chicken sandwich apart and try and cut it with a knife. Tough, dry and burnt as were the fries. Waitress was so very apologetic she took my lunch off the bill. Husband's order was not correct, sent that back and the Cuban pork sandwich was garbage👎 Never again
I visited for lunch and had a disappointing experience from start to finish. Despite the restaurant being only about a third full, we were told there would be a 15-minute wait. After about 20 minutes, we received a text our table was ready. We asked if we could sit in a booth, but were then told we couldn’t because we had to be seated in our waiter’s section—even though the booth was only about 10 feet from where we were eventually placed. Once seated, our waiter took our drink order and then our food order: two soups and two entrees. After waiting around 20 minutes we asked about our soups. The waiter apologized and went to check. He brought one soup out about 10 minutes later, and the second arrived another 10 minutes after that. Another 20 minutes passed with no entrees, despite multiple tables seated after us receiving their food. The waiter apologized again, but the delay continued. After a total of about an hour and twenty minutes, and still no entrees, we spoke with the manager, paid for the soups, and left. Overall, this was a terrible experience, and we will not be returning.
