This is my favorite takeout Chinese restaurant in Albany for the past 7 years. I’m sad that they no longer make moo shu and I’ve had to go to other restaurants to get it but none compare to amazing wok. My favorite dishes are House egg foo young, fried chicken wings, crab Rangoon, sesame chicken, chicken on a stick, Singapore rice noodles, & fried pork dumplings. You won’t be disappointed with any of these dishes. Enjoy!! I could not figure out how to leave a new review so I’m just adding to this one. It is 6/29/25. I happened to be in the neighborhood so I stopped at the store to place an order. I normally always order online. When I got home my dish was not made the way I asked. So I called and got an answering service and they told me the manager would call me back. Two minutes later, I received the call from the restaurant and explain that my dish was made incorrectly. They not only made the dish the way I wanted, but also delivered it after the store hours. I was pretty surprised to see so many negative reviews regarding customer service at this store because again I had a wonderful experience as always with AW. They also let me keep the order that was a mistake. They’re still putting out the best Chinese food in the Albany area. Thank you Aazimg Wok!!!

Haven’t ordered from here in a while, but in reading more recent reviews, they’ve gotten excellent reviews so I decided to go for it, and food was delicious. Tender ribs with meat on them, and pork fried rice was flavorful!! Keep up the good work AW!! Kudos!

I've eaten here about 10 times since I moved to Albany back in October. They're one of the best Chinese food places around as long as you have realistic expectations about what kind of place this is. It's the local Chinese food place that every town/city seems to have, the one you look for because it always exists and you always find something you like. Peking in Amsterdam, NY and Hop Po in Allentown, PA are other great examples of what I'm looking for when I'm looking for some good Chinese food in a decent price range. If you come here looking for a fancy 5-star restaurant you're looking at the wrong place. If you come here looking for some good eats made by people in your community, then you're doing it right. The food is always done fast and they're always great with giving you the sauce and utensils you need. I suggest the Fried Wontons, Pork Steam Dumplings, as well as the Pork Egg Roll. Their General Tso's is also very tasty.

I just moved to Albany and the first couple Chinese places I tried had me worried I wasn’t going to find a good local spot. Amazing Wok finally hit all my boxes with delicious fresh food at a price you can’t beat. Crab Rangoon is so flavorful, fried shrimp is plentiful, and sweet/sour chicken is meaty and juicy! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

I always have a hard time finding Chinese places I like who do the things I like to eat well. This one is awesome, and everything was exactly how I liked it. The pricing was great, the food was excellent, and it was convenient since it was in a dead strip-mall. Thankfully it works in this place's favor because there is lots of parking and it's easy to drive up and just pick something up and go. I have definitely eaten here again, and will keep doing so.

I have only ever gotten takeout in person so I cannot attest to the issues with deliveries. But the description is perfectly apt for what this restaurant is. Good Chinese takeout, quick, efficient, and flavors that taste great.

The food is flavorful and delicious! The staff are such great people!! This is the only place I order from in the whole area for Chinese. Can't get a better dinner anywhere else.

Great for what it is - small nyc style chinese takeaway. Food was good and was ready by the time I walked there. I recommend the chicken broccoli and wings.

The food is always fresh and made to order and the owners are super friendly. I love this place, highly recommend trying it out if you want good Chinese food in Albany.

I order my food for delivery and this being my 1st time ordering from This place I’m very disgusted by the Customer Service. They didn’t out any utensil in my order and then the driver Demanded a Tip from me being very aggressive, And then when I called to inform the owner and staff the Manger didn’t even care to address the issue. I definitely spent $20 for my order and to be treated this way I’m very disappointed by how Entitled people are feeling because I didn’t grow up with a stable financial situation at all. And it’s very nasty to have to deal with things like that. I DONT THINK I WANT TO SPEND MY MONEY HERE AGAIN

This used to be my go to Chinese spot. I dunno what happened this time but I ordered $37 worth of food and one of the items, a large sweet and sour chicken, is literally inedible. The batter on the chicken is so hard I can barely bite into it. My dog is even having a hard time chewing thru it. Not to mention, the chicken inside must have been sitting in the batter for a long period of time. Definitely not fresh. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Was in the mood for crab Rangoon and fried wantons.Placed a order with this company service was great but the food was old,and over fried…all for $21 bucks.Literally the worse I’ve spent $20 on,gave this gave this restaurant a try a few times .Will not be back or recommend.

The food was terrible! The pork fried rice had only pork and was almost 50% onion with nothing else in it. The bourbon chicken was not bourbon chicken I still don't know what it was but it tasted like crap. The kids didn't even get a fortune cookie to eat! Never again!
