Love this place. I always go on Thursdays because I am obsessed with their lentil soup special. Their chorizo and cheese arepa is amazing, beef empanada is delicious, sangria is on point. Their service is always friendly and welcoming which keeps me coming back. Huge portions, so don't be surprised if you have to take food home when dining there.

Great new restaurant in Albany, conveniently located on Madison. Parking was easy to find. Our server could not have been more friendly. The food is fresh and well prepared. They also have lunch and dinner specials during the week. We will be back!

Me and my cousin first time trying their brunch food, I had been there for dinner before, but we both were overwhelmingly happy with the large menu selection and the food was spot on, cooked close to perfection 😊 we were so excited ☺️ and couldn't stop cheering about the experience. Everything was great Along with the prices. You get a adequate amount of food for your money. 🙂 And the food was delicious. We go out to eat quite often, "foodies" actually so we know good food. Even tho it's a small spot we went at a good time where it wasn't crowded. Service was pleasant.👍🏿 Our favorite new spot we both agreed.

Decided to try this place for lunch. They have a good array of lunch special for $11.99 from 11 am to 3 pm. We were not disappointed. Carne guisada and grilled steak were delicious. Rice and beans were very favorably as well. Good service as well, will definitely be back.

Pandebonos and buñuelos are nice. The chicken soup is flavorful and almost creamy. Just fyi the daily specials have a lot of beans and the arepas dishes are unseasoned and not sauced (which I'm not used to)

Went here with coworkers for dinner last night. The food was typical Columbian food. I ordered fried pork with fried plantains. It came with an arepa. The service was excellent, atmosphere as well. Prices were pretty decent. If you like Columbian food, check out this spot.

Authentic Colombian restaurant. We went 2x and the second time they were having an event and we’re a bit packed. So naturally service took a bit and a the quality of the food went down slightly (mainly we felt all of our dishes needed salt). This was not the case the first time we went though. I ordered their special which was steak and a side of beans and sweet plantains. We got natural passion fruit and mango juice. I would def go back. They have great prices and the staff is kind.

I was really hyped about Moliendo Café because I had heard such great things. I don’t wanna complain about everything but overall we were just not very impressed. The owner greeted us off the start and was excellent, but from there the service went down as our waiter was absent quite a bit and forgot more than one of our orders. The food was pretty good. But not what I had expected from the hype. Good atmosphere tho. Overall I had a good experience. The margaritas are Very good tho! I do look forward to returning as maybe it was an “off day” which is understandable. Very traditional food that can be made gluten free and that’s hard to find. All in all I was happy with Moliendo Café.

Good atmosphere, good strong drink specials, good service. 3 stars is because the chicken lunch special came with just 1 piece of chicken. 1 thigh on my dish, one leg on her dish. A $10 lunch special should have more than rice, beans, and 1 piece of chicken. I've been to almost every Spanish spot in the capital district, I've never seen this before!! Always at least a leg and thigh min, or alot of individual pieces.

The stew chicken and stew beef with rice that I ordered was very greasy and had no taste or flavor. The quesadilla were very saggy. I will not be going back there.

Update (09/27/2020) This restaurant change ownership or the people that cook. The customer service has downgraded the quality exponentially. They have new servers. When we arrived there were no one else, but they were chatting and laughing, took almost 15 minutes to take the order. Then the food... the food is not real Colombian anymore. Please see the pictures of my first review and the update. The food is completely different. Looks like they are adding coloring to the corn dough. I asked for a Calentao, again see the updated pictures. The calentao looks bad and the chicken on the it was rubbery. Again, nothing like the experience we had before. Some of our Colombian friends tell us to confirm how bad it was. Confirmed!
