I'd been planning to dine at this little place for a long time, and my expectations were incredibly high, and they were fully met. The place is beautiful both inside and out: it's incredibly unique in every way, and you feel like you're in a surreal world where the ancient world of the village coexists perfectly with the modern flair of an artist. The food was a surprise: the cicheti (small appetizers) are rich in flavor, and the main courses are generous and hearty. The scottatini di cuore and the polenta uncia were truly thrilling. The friendliness of the staff is a rare quality: the young woman who brought us the menu explained everything perfectly and gave us excellent recommendations. Thanks for the experience!

Sure to tantalise many senses during your visit. Felt very welcome as if walking into Danilo and Anita’s home and kitchen. Tasting the love that goes into cooking a dish is seldom seen, I am pleased to say the food was not lacking this aspect, the good food, wine and artwork that was exhibited this evening drew a warm crowd of people that were perfectly capable of accommodating my broken-Italian. I look forward to returning.

I was lucky enough to be taken here by a friend on 15th June where there was a sketch-book style art exhibition that was very well attended I could not have felt more welcomed, even though I don't speak Italian. The chef catered for myself and my partner's vegetarian diet which was outstanding and they had a great range of beverages. Really kind and friendly service and a chill family friendly vibe all round 😁 I highly recommend you visit here. Thank you to all the staff for hosting us ❤️

Unassuming at first, but once you enter you can get ready for a terrific experience. It all starts with the warmest welcome and continues with a culinary feast of local and regional foods with exquisite execution to wholesome and delicious meals. Anita and her amazing team of handsome fellows have created a jewel amidst the Como region. San Biagio is a place definitely worth visiting whenever you find yourself in or around Como. Excellent!

Had dinner with friends, the dishes are excellent and of high quality, you can see that the kitchen knows what it is doing, even for the desserts there is nothing to say (I ate a sublime tiramisu), but unfortunately the quantities are too small and the cost is not rightly proportionate, to try again

A good, traditional trattoria. We expected a wider selection of starters for the summer season, but what we ate was still satisfying. The price is fair for the service offered. The staff is friendly and super helpful. Typical for a trattoria. Excellent for offal lovers!

Honestly, I was disappointed. I'd heard good things about it... The atmosphere was very, very spartan, covered in paper, and the service was very basic... I wouldn't have judged this if I hadn't spent the considerable amount I paid for dinner. Dinner for 3 people: six appetizers (called cicchetti), two main courses, one polenta, three pastry desserts (TERRIBLE), one bottle of still wine... €158. I'm not expecting a complimentary digestif, but it wouldn't have been bad considering they were supermarket liqueurs at reasonable prices. In my opinion, I honestly didn't have a bad meal, but the value for money and service combined seemed very expensive. I tried it, and I personally judged it. I don't recommend it or not... everyone has their own opinion.

Sometimes knowing how to serve good food isn't enough to be a restaurant owner, but desire, kindness, and a few extra smiles are needed, which doesn't seem to be the norm here. A good menu, unique and well-crafted, but otherwise, we were treated without a smile, with an annoyed air, and despite a €1,050 bill, when splitting the portions, they even wanted 19 centenarians each... 19... The whole evening seemed like we were a nuisance. Well, after two such visits, I certainly don't feel like returning. What a shame.
