I tried vegan apps and it was soooo good! Chive pancake, fried tofu, spring roll, brussel sprouts …all good!! I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone craving Thai food.

I tried this spot recently on Monday and the Zapp wings were really good and the Basil Fried Rice was amazing. My recommendation is the beef for the Basil Fried Rice and I think I may return to that spot next time

Posting because the 7-year-old took one bite of his tofu pad see ew and said, "Mom. You've got to go give them five stars." He then ate an entire order of fried tofu and demanded that I mix his left over pad see ew with white rice for his lunch tomorrow. They just opened and we've only had one meal but we liked it!

Found out authentic Thai street food, kinda hidden gem in Brooklyn Try out Khao mok Kai, grandma recipe, phenomenon! Homemade coconut ice cream is the must. Definitely will come back

Walked into this nice cozy great Thai restaurant last weekend. Authentic Thai homemade recipes, the food tastes great, simply amazing! People work there are very nice too, especially Kate went above and beyond making sure that I was happy with the food and service. Homemade coconut ice cream is definitely an icing on the cake, a must have! Overall great food and great experience! Excellent place!

I went to this place for dinner. The atmosphere is so good, with dimmed light and soft jazz music. Nice place for small talk with friends or family. The waitress is friendly and knows the menu well. Food is exceptional! Try Shrimp clay pot, chicken satay and Massaman curry! Very good indeed!

I had such a lovely time here, and the breadth of good options is enticing me to return. The duck was delicious, the papaya salad is tops, and the cuisine is good for all types of dietary preferences.

A lovely little Thai spot in Fort Greene! One of our go to take out spots. The food is ready in 10-15 minutes, and everyone that works there is so kind! We love the Pad Thai and Massamman curry. We would so so recommend this!

Fantastic restaurant. Finally, proper Thai cuisine in Fort Greene. I used to live in Bangkok for over a decade, so I’m always very critical. Call me spoilt. Ma Brooklyn Thai-ger exceeded my expectations. The mixed appetizers were amazing and beautifully presented. The Thai salmon salad was a treat, and the kitchen didn’t skimp on the salmon. The Thai basil with shrimp was a wave of exciting tastes and textures, luscious, spicy, salty, and a tiny bit sweet. Transported me right back to my fave ex-hometown Bangkok.

I came here to celebrate my friends birthday, and we really enjoyed it. The ambience was fantastic. Food was really delicious and cheap too. I would recommend Tom Kha soup and Papaya salad.

They also have a nice selection of beer/cocktails—and the Thai iced tea always hits the spot :) MA’s service is wonderful; we’ve come to know Em and Edwin, who primarily wait the tables, over the last several months, and they are delightful, super warm and friendly. The lunch special costs more money for less food. I guess these guys didn’t get the memo that a lunch special is supposed to be a good deal, but not here. The food is fine. The service is good. The lunch special is $19 for a small portion entree and a small portion side vs. regular entree for $16. This is no deal and was unexpected. Ain’t nothin special about this special unless you like paying more money for less food.

Solid local Thai food. Thai-ger beef, red curry and other stuff on the special menu is worth trying; the basic items are okay

We’ve ordered from this place regularly since they opened and generally they’re great but lately the quality has been slipping a bit across multiple dishes — we’re convinced there’s a new staff cooking in the kitchen. We wanted to attribute this to just an “off” night but the last several orders aren’t what they once were. We will continue ordering (less regularly) in hopes that quality improves.

And the green curry was not green. It was white. The restaurant itself is very Brooklyn. It has cool antique elements to it. The waiter was handsome and attentive.

typical Thai food with some decent yet mediocre flavors and service was a little slow. I admit we are a big party of 7 but we came in early at 4:45pm for dinner and there's barely any customers. There's only 1 server (bless her heart, she's very nice and friendly) but apps came 1 by 1 very slowly and they were also out of curry puff (only had 1 order). Most of the apps were yummy, crispy spring rolls and I love their Zapp wings, crispy and very well seasoned and spicy on the outside (their homemade spicy flakes tasted like a snack chip flavor!). The curry puff has too much pastry and a little too soft/doughy for my liking and not a lot of fillings. The pad thai and pad see ew are just average in my opinion. I got the mild spiced kang dang curry and it was still spicy (I still like it) but a little too salty and watery (it looks more like a soup). My friends got the Thaiger beef and Duck Tamarind and I'd say they tasted a little more special/unique. The duck was juicy and flavorful!

Small and intimate restaurant, the flavors of the food were ok, very basic, lacked the depth and flavors of authentic Thai food. The portions were small as well.

Disappointing. Homemade Dumplings were dry. Khalid Soi was fine, but missing a flavor or two. Asian Duck dish was fine, but not quite big enough for my taste.

I met a friend here about two weeks ago, and we both had an appetitizer and a entree. We came right after lunch and I asked about the soup at another table and the waitress basically said it was special and I couldnt have it. We both enjoyed the food we ordered, the sweetness in my food was crazy and I thought maybe it was because the pineapples but it was way too sweet. The portions were lunch sized portions to me. We were confused why our food ended up costing $80 with tax and tip. I decided I do not want to have $40 lunches anymore. The flavors were good, but that bill was confusing.

As someone who has lived in Fort Greene for over 6 years, I was really excited for a hood Thai restaurant - and although the ambiance and service is great, the food left me wanting more. The Panang curry had good flavor but the pad Thai was bland and flavorless.

Oh and staff we so friendly. Made it home to open to a complete shock. The rice was mush. I mean overcooked mush with so much curry. After tasting it, it was like eating Indian food. The shrimp portions were good, pineapples, etc. But the rice was absolutely disappointing. The spring rolls were okay, a little on the soft and less crispy side. The wings were about my only favorite. Had a lemon pepper like dry seasoning to it. The rice on the other hand is unforgivable. If it's not good, don't serve it. I'm not sure what the issue was that night. But I'd expect well cooked rice in the least. Though this was a first bad experience, I would return and dine in next time to give it a second chance. The atmosphere and staff is appealing. Management, I'd review your menu items and make sure your chefs are delivering quality dishes every single time. Mushy rice is unacceptable.

First impressions walking in, It was a quaint, cozy spot, and the vibe was off because we were not greeted right right away, which was weird, also the air conditioning seemed like it wasn’t working properly and it felt humid! With those two things top of mind I should’ve exited and went elsewhere, because after that, it seemed like we were semi paid attention to and/or ignored. I believe they handle alot of online and telephone orders and that takes away from their attention to customer service. When did order we had the Thai iced tea which had so much ice inside that I only was able to drink two sips and it was gone and the chicken wings were coated with so much of this cornmeal stuff and salt that they were almost an edible, same goes for my entrée. I had about three forkfuls of the pad Thai that because it was soooo sweet and I think I walked out of there with diabetes. What made this experience unpleasant as well is the waitstaff saw and commented that I did not eat my meal. I told them that it did not taste good and that was way too sweet, the waitress simply took my plate away and said I’m sorry it wasn’t to your liking. When she came back with a bill, the bill included the pad Thai that was barely eaten and the $17 price attached!! I have to say that my friend who I was with enjoyed his meal, he had flat noodles with beef and vegetables. Mine was just really bad along with the service, because of this I won’t be coming back.

I ordered the Panang Curry with chicken and shrimp but it was not very good. The curry was watery and very soupy also there was no shrimp in the curry and the chicken did not taste like meat. I believe it was tofu or something. I was very disappointed because I spent like $25 for the meal and it did not meet any of my standards.
