Amazing quality, delicious that food. The street food lunch special is incredible.
They have chor muang which is a pork dumpling in Thai, it's really good!
Delicious Thai cuisine in the heart of Brooklyn 5/5 would recommend
Butterfly pea lemonade was incredibly refreshing and the dinner was delish!
Best Thai food in the neighborhood!
Vety authentic Thai with reasonable price-Great service
Was phenomenal!! Been waiting for great Thai in Fort Greene.
Weekly favorite, delicious and the staff is amazing.
Small place. Great service. Fresh food.
Food is so good, service is great! :)
Cool place, great service. I love the atmosphere here.
Nice ambiance, friendly staff, good food.
Great!
Tasty!
nice
It's an intimate setting, but the food and the service are exceptional.
Fantastic authentic Thai. If I was local, I would eat there every week.
I tried vegan apps and it was soooo good! Chive pancake, fried tofu, spring roll, brussel sprouts …all good!! I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone craving Thai food.
I tried this spot recently on Monday and the Zapp wings were really good and the Basil Fried Rice was amazing. My recommendation is the beef for the Basil Fried Rice and I think I may return to that spot next time
Posting because the 7-year-old took one bite of his tofu pad see ew and said, "Mom. You've got to go give them five stars." He then ate an entire order of fried tofu and demanded that I mix his left over pad see ew with white rice for his lunch tomorrow. They just opened and we've only had one meal but we liked it!
Found out authentic Thai street food, kinda hidden gem in Brooklyn Try out Khao mok Kai, grandma recipe, phenomenon! Homemade coconut ice cream is the must. Definitely will come back
Great authentic food, charming decor
This place was charming. Recommended by a local friend. The food was delicious. They were able to inform me what options were gluten free. Highly recommend.
Best Thai in the area. Very flavorful, not too sweet, super nice staff. Great for dining in or delivery! Try the wings :)
Best Tom Kha I've ever had. Ever. Also, pineapple fried rice was probably the best I've ever had also. Outstanding.
The appetizers were delicious and the Kua noodles were very tasty. Very kind and courteous staff and the service was great!!
Amazing food ! We form Mtl and we have some greeeeeat restaurants and this place is Amazing ! Loved all especially the green 🍛 curry and the minced chicken its the 💣 bomb ! The best ! Merci beaucoup! 🙏❤️😎
Great food and wonderful servers. The food came out quickly and was perfectly portioned
Went on Fulton looking for National only to realize they’re closed permanently. Noticed Thai-ger, decided to try it and babyyyyyy! Loved it!!!! Will definitely revisit!
Love this place. Food is amazing, simple, veggie forward. Everyone at MA is so nice.
Top tier place, glad to have this nearby
Absolutely delicious food and dessert. Super friendly and attentive staff. Can’t wait to try their entire menu.
Food was so fresh with amazing flavor! Not too sweet. Can’t wait to come again:)
Delicious Thai food and amazing service! The owner is super nice and friendly too.
OMG!!!!!! Best Thai I think I have EVER!!!! Had and I'm 57! And have traveled. Complete secret gem!!!!!
The restaurant atmosphere feels cozy. I absolutely loved my red curry. It was extremely flavorful. The duck salad was such a great starter. Our server Moe was so attentive and friendly. I definitely come back again.
Delicious and exceptional! Did a large company order and everything was delicious. I had the Thai-ger beef, the skirt steak was perfectly cooked with a sweet/savory taste. I usually don’t really eat my vegetables but I ended up licking my plate clean. Highly recommend !!!!
Walked into this nice cozy great Thai restaurant last weekend. Authentic Thai homemade recipes, the food tastes great, simply amazing! People work there are very nice too, especially Kate went above and beyond making sure that I was happy with the food and service. Homemade coconut ice cream is definitely an icing on the cake, a must have! Overall great food and great experience! Excellent place!
I went to this place for dinner. The atmosphere is so good, with dimmed light and soft jazz music. Nice place for small talk with friends or family. The waitress is friendly and knows the menu well. Food is exceptional! Try Shrimp clay pot, chicken satay and Massaman curry! Very good indeed!
I had such a lovely time here, and the breadth of good options is enticing me to return. The duck was delicious, the papaya salad is tops, and the cuisine is good for all types of dietary preferences.
A lovely little Thai spot in Fort Greene! One of our go to take out spots. The food is ready in 10-15 minutes, and everyone that works there is so kind! We love the Pad Thai and Massamman curry. We would so so recommend this!
I ordered take out several times for this place. Food is nice. Price is reasonable in Brooklyn area. Staff is friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxing and comfortable when I waited for my order.
Fantastic restaurant. Finally, proper Thai cuisine in Fort Greene. I used to live in Bangkok for over a decade, so I’m always very critical. Call me spoilt. Ma Brooklyn Thai-ger exceeded my expectations. The mixed appetizers were amazing and beautifully presented. The Thai salmon salad was a treat, and the kitchen didn’t skimp on the salmon. The Thai basil with shrimp was a wave of exciting tastes and textures, luscious, spicy, salty, and a tiny bit sweet. Transported me right back to my fave ex-hometown Bangkok.
My husband and I just started going here and have become instant regulars. The woman who runs it is so kind, a unique menu, my husband is vegetarian and there is a lot to choose from and they are great about modifications. This is our new neighborhood spot and we are so glad it's here <3
Very tasty and creative Thai food, plus classics. Lovely service and. Nice ambiance. A great neighborhood spot. Has vegetarian options
I came here to celebrate my friends birthday, and we really enjoyed it. The ambience was fantastic. Food was really delicious and cheap too. I would recommend Tom Kha soup and Papaya salad.
This place is so good. Cozy neighborhood spot with Thai classics + really unique specials that are all delicious. Love the curry rice and duck dishes.
See Eew beef and the drunken noodles were tasty. Space was cute inside. Service was quick and attentive. I‘d definitely go back and try other noodles!
I am a born and bred New Yorker, and Thai food is my favorite cuisine. I have lived in Fort Greene for three years now, and I can wholeheartedly say that MA is both my favorite Thai restaurant, and my favorite restaurant period. The quality of the food at MA is always top-notch. It comes out quickly, piping hot, and so wonderfully flavorful. Our favorite dishes are the See Ew (pictured), Pad Ka Phrao (pictured), Basil Fried Rice, Chive Pancakes, and Minced Chicken Basil. We’ve been slowly working our way through the entire menu, and everything is always amazing. So saucy and juicy and tender and spicy and flavorful! Plus, the portions are relatively big—I can only ever finish my plate if I’m feeling particularly famished. They also have a nice selection of beer/cocktails—and the Thai iced tea always hits the spot :) MA’s service is wonderful; we’ve come to know Em and Edwin, who primarily wait the tables, over the last several months, and they are delightful, super warm and friendly. The food always comes out quickly and our needs as diners are tended to perfectly. The atmosphere of MA is cozy and intimate, perfect for a date or a dinner with family or friends. There’s music playing, but it’s pretty quiet and makes for good conversation. It’s especially wonderful during warm months when the windows are open! We’ve eaten here more times than we can count—and all we can say is that it’s fantastic. Love you MA!!! ❤️
We sat outside and it was very pleasant. Our server Belle was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the butterfly pea lemonade, the dumplings, and the shrimp clay pot. All the food was good. The drink was OK. We wished the noodles were more “slurpable” but the flavors were nice. Will come back to try more!
Food is great!! It's a small spot and they are new on the block. The servers were also very nice and gracious. Very minor issues and they were open to feedback with being new. We all liked our food at our table. For appetizers we had calamari, the wings and spring rolls. Entrees we had Thai-ger beef, green curry, pad Thai with shrimp and 2 other dishes that I can't remember the name of but I believe they were under the Saute section on the menu. Pictured is the Thai-ger beef.
I recently tried the Pad Thai and it was absolutely delicious!! The dish was a perfect combination of flavors, with tender noodles and juicy shrimp. It was a satisfying!
Zapp Chicken Wings: 7/10, too lemon flavored Pad Thai w/ Imitation Duck: 9/10 Cashew Nut Sauté w/ Tofu: 8/10
A delicious, affordable Thai spot. Cozy and welcoming, I enjoyed the more low-key environment. Server was attentive and friendly and the food was well-portioned.
So me and my sister in law found this hidden gem out of no where and this is our second time in a second day. The food is true authentic Thai food Must go I give 5 star
This place has very friendly staff and best Thai food (Pad see eew). Highly recommend !

Quaint little Thai place ! Perfect for a cozy dinner out ! Food is amazing !
Food here is soooo good but please fix the online order system, never know when my food is ready for pickup. Doesn’t stop me from ordering but it would be helpful :)
Amazing pad see you beef could even been my #1 in nyc. I’ve been dreaming about this since I last had it last month. Service was quick and fast.

What a great addition to Brooklyn and, specifically, Fort Greene. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to go back again
Solid spot for thai food and great service!
The lunch special costs more money for less food. I guess these guys didn’t get the memo that a lunch special is supposed to be a good deal, but not here. The food is fine. The service is good. The lunch special is $19 for a small portion entree and a small portion side vs. regular entree for $16. This is no deal and was unexpected. Ain’t nothin special about this special unless you like paying more money for less food.
Solid local Thai food. Thai-ger beef, red curry and other stuff on the special menu is worth trying; the basic items are okay
We’ve ordered from this place regularly since they opened and generally they’re great but lately the quality has been slipping a bit across multiple dishes — we’re convinced there’s a new staff cooking in the kitchen. We wanted to attribute this to just an “off” night but the last several orders aren’t what they once were. We will continue ordering (less regularly) in hopes that quality improves.
Great neighborhood thai restaurant. The salmon was a bit expensive. Vree. Curry is $16. With pork it is an additional $3. When th salmon an additional $8. And it was a bit burnt to be honest. And the green curry was not green. It was white. The restaurant itself is very Brooklyn. It has cool antique elements to it. The waiter was handsome and attentive.
typical Thai food with some decent yet mediocre flavors and service was a little slow. I admit we are a big party of 7 but we came in early at 4:45pm for dinner and there's barely any customers. There's only 1 server (bless her heart, she's very nice and friendly) but apps came 1 by 1 very slowly and they were also out of curry puff (only had 1 order). Most of the apps were yummy, crispy spring rolls and I love their Zapp wings, crispy and very well seasoned and spicy on the outside (their homemade spicy flakes tasted like a snack chip flavor!). The curry puff has too much pastry and a little too soft/doughy for my liking and not a lot of fillings. The pad thai and pad see ew are just average in my opinion. I got the mild spiced kang dang curry and it was still spicy (I still like it) but a little too salty and watery (it looks more like a soup). My friends got the Thaiger beef and Duck Tamarind and I'd say they tasted a little more special/unique. The duck was juicy and flavorful!
Met a friend there for lunch. Very nice place. Clean good service. Had the lunch special. The food was good.
Came here on a quiet Sat afternoon. The K Mao was delicious and can adjust the spice level. The Thai roast chicken was too dry. Bone in chicken breast. Thank you.
The food was delicious only compliant would be the bring your own wine but there’s a liquor store super close by . Great location and great service bathroom door slides.

Nice pleace, great service and the price very fair. The food would be better, it was 8/10 thanks!
Didn't get chopsticks nor napkin
Very respectably bland.
Small and intimate restaurant, the flavors of the food were ok, very basic, lacked the depth and flavors of authentic Thai food. The portions were small as well.
Disappointing. Homemade Dumplings were dry. Khalid Soi was fine, but missing a flavor or two. Asian Duck dish was fine, but not quite big enough for my taste.
Food was good , portion sizes small, kee mao was good. Service was quite poor
I met a friend here about two weeks ago, and we both had an appetitizer and a entree. We came right after lunch and I asked about the soup at another table and the waitress basically said it was special and I couldnt have it. We both enjoyed the food we ordered, the sweetness in my food was crazy and I thought maybe it was because the pineapples but it was way too sweet. The portions were lunch sized portions to me. We were confused why our food ended up costing $80 with tax and tip. I decided I do not want to have $40 lunches anymore. The flavors were good, but that bill was confusing.
As someone who has lived in Fort Greene for over 6 years, I was really excited for a hood Thai restaurant - and although the ambiance and service is great, the food left me wanting more. The Panang curry had good flavor but the pad Thai was bland and flavorless.
Really bummed about this, but rating here a 3.8. I was in the area and looking for Fulton Thai (apparently permanently closed), another Thai restaurant but this spot came up and decided to give it a try. It was conveniently located on Fulton as well. I ordered their Pineapple Fried Rice with added shrimp ($19), spring rolls ($10), zaap wings ($11). We drove by the spot first and at first glance, it was a beautiful setup and cozy. The atmosphere was warm despite the cold outside. I was really looking forward to the food. Oh and staff we so friendly. Made it home to open to a complete shock. The rice was mush. I mean overcooked mush with so much curry. After tasting it, it was like eating Indian food. The shrimp portions were good, pineapples, etc. But the rice was absolutely disappointing. The spring rolls were okay, a little on the soft and less crispy side. The wings were about my only favorite. Had a lemon pepper like dry seasoning to it. The rice on the other hand is unforgivable. If it's not good, don't serve it. I'm not sure what the issue was that night. But I'd expect well cooked rice in the least. Though this was a first bad experience, I would return and dine in next time to give it a second chance. The atmosphere and staff is appealing. Management, I'd review your menu items and make sure your chefs are delivering quality dishes every single time. Mushy rice is unacceptable.
Got takeout here and while the flavors are good, the portions were on the smaller side so was still hungry after ordering three dishes for two people. The Asian duck was great with a very crispy skin. There was bokchoy on the bottom of the duck but it seemed to be steamed and had no flavor. The pakeemao was ok. The basil stir fry had really great flavors but did not like the tofu which seemed to be over fried as it was dry and didn’t get any “meat” of the tofu.
This is a seemingly cute new spot. I tried the pad see ew, which is one of my favorite dishes, and my friend had the chicken main. Friend loved their dish but mine was just ok. I’ve had much better pad see ew at many other Thai restaurants. The service was lackluster - slow and forgetful and the space wasn’t packed.

There was very, very little duck in the Asian duck. The little duck that there was, was dried out and tough.
I was in the neighborhood and my regular Thai place, I usually go to seem to have closed down. So I googled Thai food near me and this spot popped up. First impressions walking in, It was a quaint, cozy spot, and the vibe was off because we were not greeted right right away, which was weird, also the air conditioning seemed like it wasn’t working properly and it felt humid! With those two things top of mind I should’ve exited and went elsewhere, because after that, it seemed like we were semi paid attention to and/or ignored. I believe they handle alot of online and telephone orders and that takes away from their attention to customer service. When did order we had the Thai iced tea which had so much ice inside that I only was able to drink two sips and it was gone and the chicken wings were coated with so much of this cornmeal stuff and salt that they were almost an edible, same goes for my entrée. I had about three forkfuls of the pad Thai that because it was soooo sweet and I think I walked out of there with diabetes. What made this experience unpleasant as well is the waitstaff saw and commented that I did not eat my meal. I told them that it did not taste good and that was way too sweet, the waitress simply took my plate away and said I’m sorry it wasn’t to your liking. When she came back with a bill, the bill included the pad Thai that was barely eaten and the $17 price attached!! I have to say that my friend who I was with enjoyed his meal, he had flat noodles with beef and vegetables. Mine was just really bad along with the service, because of this I won’t be coming back.
Good pad Thai, but disappointing everything else. Gaiyang Somtum grilled marinated chicken, papaya salad and sticky rice delivery had cheap chewy dry food-service grade chicken, borderline inedible; no sweet chili sauce included, barebones salad with no bed of greens. The amount of tom kha soup for $9 was also pitiful.

Highly slow service. Only 1 server. Not even clearing the table on time. Most tables had food on it and people had left.
Very bad services Does not care about the customer
Don’t go here if you are vegan/vegetarian. They will give you boiled noodles with veggies and a sauce that is simply sugar and water.
Was sat by the toilet I guess there wasn’t a table in the bathroom so I was right sat s close as possible to the nearly empty restroom… food looked good
I ordered the Panang Curry with chicken and shrimp but it was not very good. The curry was watery and very soupy also there was no shrimp in the curry and the chicken did not taste like meat. I believe it was tofu or something. I was very disappointed because I spent like $25 for the meal and it did not meet any of my standards.
I was excited to try as it’s a new restaurant in the area. Decided to have one of their chicken specials. The chicken was DRY, it felt like I was chewing on sand. Pretty sure it was preprepped days ago. Curry rice was plain. Comparable to prison food. Disappointing to say the least, on the bright side they took it back and apologized
