⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dunia is a delight! She always serves you with a smile and makes you feel at home. At Cervezas Amigas del X Madrid, you can feel the good vibes and the desire for people to have fun. The beer is cold, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is top-notch. It's a pleasure to meet people like that behind the bar 👏🍻
Ok
We loved the food; the only slight downside was that the music was a bit loud for my taste, but at least it was amazing. We had a pint, a soft drink, a burger, and a hot dog, and it came to about €30. You order at the bar, and they give you a device that vibrates when your food is ready, and then you go to the bar to pick it up.
From the moment you enter the atmosphere is super good, at least, the time I was there they played Spanish pop from the 90s/2000s. I had already tried the beer and really, if you are a beer lover, they have all types and for all tastes. They explain the flavor of each one very well if you need it. For lunch we ordered a variety of things, hamburgers and dogs, very very good, the perfect companion for such a delicious beer. The dishes came out pretty quickly, hot and very tasty. To repeat a thousand times. Even though the place is not big inside, there is a lot of turnover and some space is left free, they also have a super large terrace with heaters in winter.
Perfect place if you like good beer. They have the classic varieties and some limited editions, plus plenty of options. As for the food, we were quite surprised. For an American classic, everything tasted great and was reasonably priced. We were served very well, right on the premises, and for reservations (you have to book the day before). A 10/10, I'll definitely be back.
A fantastic experience at Cervezas La Virgen! You can sample several craft beers—six varieties in total, both on tap and bottled. They also have soft drinks for those who don't drink beer. For snacks, they offer nachos, hot dogs, hamburgers, and kebabs. There are two terraces, one outdoors and the other under the red dome at the entrance. It's one of those places that always has a line to get a table—there must be a reason! I love going there to enjoy a beer after a hard day's work. 🍺😊😀
Sitio agradable.
It's a place with good food, good music, and a great atmosphere. We ordered a double and a pint with nachos, a Mex dog, and a burger. There's no table service, but considering the price, I think it should be. The bathrooms could use a more frequent checkup and some heating inside the place, but the beer is delicious and the food is very good.
Jamonera beer is the best; I love it, it's never disappointed me so far. It's not cheap, but the quality and quantity are worth it. I've tried some of their other beers, but in my opinion, they're not worth it. They also offer olives or peanuts as snacks. The hamburgers are delicious; I've never been disappointed. They are a bit pricey, but I think they're worth the cost. I haven't ordered anything else from the menu because I'm already very satisfied with the beer and the hamburger. As for the service, I couldn't say anything bad or good about it; it seemed average. I did notice that they lose patience when they have a lot of customers, but I think that's normal. Besides, in those situations, I'd rather the food be better than the service. The atmosphere is pleasant, very well air-conditioned in summer, and clean. Sometimes the background music is a bit loud or difficult to hear, but I haven't been disappointed. Perhaps some might notice that the rock theme of the place doesn't quite match the music they play, but it's not a big deal for me. In short, it's a good place for a quiet afternoon. I wouldn't recommend it much for children. There's a sign offering takeaway beer, but apparently they don't have any to go; maybe they will someday. And regarding prices, it's best to go before it gets too busy, which is usually in the evening.
They have all the varieties of this brand and also have snacks. We went at night, but Monday through Thursday from 5 to 7 they have pints for 3 euros, which I think is a steal compared to what a beer of this brand usually costs elsewhere. Even so, the pint cost around 4 euros, and it was delicious, very cold, and well-served. My favorite was and still is the IPA, although I also had the Jamonera yesterday and liked it just as much. It must be said that a pint of an unusual beer in Madrid doesn't usually go under 5 euros, so I think it's a great price considering it's La Virgen and right in the middle of X Madrid. I'll go back to see if I can try the food and fully evaluate the place while trying their other beer varieties!
The beers taste very similar to those at the old place (it's not La Virgen anymore). But the service is awful, practically asking for complaint forms. You order a pack of 33cl beers, which has a huge sign outside for €10, and they charge you €13, plus €0.20 for the bag. You drink it outside, and the young waitress says it's more expensive to drink outside, that it's to go. It doesn't say that, and you also have to tell her they charge whatever they want because they don't update their prices or the signs outside. Maybe the university crowd (20-25 years old) will put up with anything, but adults, this isn't the place for you. There are better places outside of Madrid where you don't have to put up with grumpy kids who don't know how to treat customers. Avoid it...
The beer is the same as always, which is fine. They used to give you a choice of peanuts or olives as a snack, now it costs €1. At €5 a pint, you'd expect at least some peanuts... The food leaves a lot to be desired. The hamburgers are very mediocre. They don't ask how you want your meat cooked; one was medium-rare and the other was as tough as shoe leather. And the nachos are completely unremarkable. The guacamole used to be homemade, now I doubt it is. The cheese sauce couldn't be more processed. Expensive for what it is. If I go back, it'll be for the beer. There are many better options in the shopping center.
The food is quite greasy, and the Angus hamburger doesn't really taste like Angus... :(
A nice place to enjoy some good Virgen beers and a bite to eat. We ordered fries with three sauces, which were delicious. The hot dogs weren't bad, but since we didn't know they came with legs, we ended up feeling a bit full. You have to place your order at the entrance, and they give you a tracking number to pick it up when it beeps.
The staff were awful. I don't recommend this place. We ordered a beer with lemon, and they served it with a lemon that had been cut open since they opened, and it was flat. After politely asking them to change it, I had to argue with the guy, who was incredibly rude. I recommend teaching this guy some basic customer service skills. I'll never be back.
Peor servicio del mundo. Evitadlo si podéis. Worst place with even worse service. Avoid it if you can
